that's kind of like gaming adjacent uh and that was one of the uh uh we saw a teaser from a new uh for a new Prime video series from uh Tim Miller uh dude has been working on this for like three years and it's called a secret level it is a 15 episode Anthology series uh starring uh like a bunch of different gaming IPS like Pac-Man uh Playstation IPS we got Spelunky Exodus Crossfire Dungeons and Dragons what did we think about this like Jeffrey I was actually here next to you when we saw this and we almost teared up watching Tim like on that stage yeah because you could tell that this project meant so much to him yeah so emotional Yeah Tim Miller yeah I've interviewed him before he's really nice he directed the first Deadpool uh he worked on the Borderlands movie uh which we won't talk about that's another reason to cry yeah uh no it it was really exciting I I think and I don't want to go too early on my roses and Thorns but I think this is the thing I was most excited from Opening Night Live and it wasn't even a game it was this show and I love the idea of an anthology series about video games because it's like we talk about all the good you know adaptations out there like you know Arcane you know L of us want Emy like all this great stuff and then to have a show where you can kind of just basically I don't want to say like throw paint on the wall see with sticks but it's like you can kind of test these different animation Styles different kind like cyber Punk Edge Runners like one of the be like you reviewed that like it was one of the best shows ever and it's like oh I want more of that and I think we're going to get that in secret level that level of like oh they really want to take this seriously the fact that it must have been very hard to get all of these IPS like we saw Kratos in there which there's already yeah there's already a God of War series at Amazon Prime video and so we're getting two koses in uh two God to war um I don't know it's I'm I'm really excited uh because yeah Pac-Man was one of them which is a very kind of funny like because it's again it's like the love death and robots kind of it's cre team behind it yeah so it's like am I going to cry a Pac-Man episode probably yeah WKA walk that's what I sound like when I CED um but yeah I'm I'm really excited and it makes me think it's I'm already I'm already thinking like what other characters one of the games could we possibly see like like Matt is there anyone that you would love to see in this in this Anthology I mean I what I want to see versus what they've already announced is is a like a weirdly circular vent diagram right like you have armored Core in here right which is crazy to think about but also I and then the armored Core Twitter account I'm taking your job now on social the armored Core Twitter account posted a photo posted a picture from the show but also with a face that looks like keano Reeves so guess saw they got keano Reeves to start in their armored Core episode which is nuts like that's a crazy combination uh there's also a Mega Man teaser briefly that I didn't see but I saw screenshots of on Twitter so that was also really cool uh this is like kind of a wild like super left field project that I feel like if this first season and all goes like really good for them like like what love death and robots had three seasons on Netflix like this could potentially go on for a couple Seasons with different games each each time and so the the sky is the limit yeah I and it's it's funny cuz I I I look at love death and robots it's kind of kind of like a litmus test cuz it didn't have any IPS attached to it now this is and that team that creative team proved they they' proven themselves with that particular uh series and now we we have something where it's like these are very wellknown IPS like sefue is going to be in like known IPS so you're already you're already gonna you're cult you're gonna you're galvanizing the the video game uh audience and possibly introducing these uh IPS to people that just like good streaming uh shows like Mega Man yeah exact well no everyone knows Mega Man Mega Man's back but doing what being the blue bomber taking out Robot Masters in this new show but we'll see if that actually happens I'm I'm serious but it looks it looks great like you know um I think love death and robots was a wonderful show with uh I hope that they capture the variety of Animation styles that we got in love death and robots it they really cut loose and had a lot of fun I think it says that it was an anthology Series so it sounds like it's telling sort of individual stories Within These actual worlds it's funny to look through the the list of games because it's such such a mix like you have really big ones like DND D Warhammer 40K arguably Pac-Man and then you get a little more into the island of Lost to kind of area Unreal Tournament Mega Man I'm sorry New World AUM Crossfire uh concords in there Concord yep yeah so I don't think that a lot of Publishers are willing to commit their truly huge uh franchises to this little experiment but maybe in season two right yeah again like this is just yet another litmus test I'm I'm sure
