Lord but obedience is better than sacrifice [Music] this morning I just want to give an opportunity for somebody whoever that is to just come forward and Just Surrender yourself to God spirit of God is here as we are in his presence as you Worship the Lord as the spirit is moving in our midst maybe you are just sensing a tug of the spirit just reminding you of that area that no one else know that that it's between you and God he's just reminding you son it's time it's time to let it go if the spirit is prompting you this morning that area whatever that is that that the enemy is just hiding whatever that is whether it is a you know sickness you you have lost your limb or you know uh just something whatever that is and then she would ask few questions to that person and all of a sudden whatever the worst case scenario that they are going through by asking like couple of questions all of a sudden things start shifting and all of a sudden they realize huh it's not that bad I have so much to be thankful about they just retrain your mind to to change change your focus from the issue and just to be thankful if the world is doing that how much more are we supposed to right so much to through Christ who gives me strength even so you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty as you know you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I first brought you the good news and then traveled on from Macedonia no other churches Church did this even when I was in thessalonica you sent help more than once I don't say this because I wanted a gift from you rather I want to receive a reward for for your kindness I want you to receive a reward for your kindness at the moment I have all I need and more I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with the eperitus that they are a sweet smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God and this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches which have been given to us in Christ Jesus doesn't need much explanation here right just says it all you know Paul is saying that it's not for me but it's for you you know my God Will Supply you know this barely bearing children whereas back in the I don't know maybe 1800s or probably early 1900s it was about four kids per family and it's just increasingly decreased and um I have some reason you know reasoning behind that but I think it's pretty amazing I guess we're not going with the flow or something in here because we got baby dedications like every other week it feels like so somebody let me know on that but we were talking about this next Generation we're seeing we're so grateful because as parents your highest desire if you're a Believer other than loving Jesus and pleasing him next in Line's typically to see your kids become one with him and just go all in for the call of God whatever that looks like uh my children will tell you I've told them since they were young look we we are helpless without him he's the bread of life we need his presence desperately um his word desperately and um if he I loveed that obedience is better than sacrifice I love this you drop that that's kind of where we're going today but whatever he says we just go like we need to get our hands of off of everything and I've told my children look if he calls you to Japan tomorrow like that's you're going learn the language get you you know enjoy some sushi or is that Korean I don't know Japanese oh so I hit it thank you Lord I'm in the spirit Sushi's Japanese I love Korean though yeah Dina knows that we love all of it but um go you know as much as I love you hey we'll see you on the other side mean this thing's for real eternity is real like this is not something you you know temporary hey put one to walk this thing out really biblically that it's trickling on to the children and we're constantly hearing testimonies of the not only they send kids I know April's so thankful she's constantly sending in testimonies and and then the youth they're getting rocked and so they're starting to surpass us in many ways just very hungry for God I know trip too he's a Gunner Man he's like Spirit of truth if you come at trip this is uh what is he is he nine now eight yeah eight um if you come to trip with like 80% truth he's going to check you he's going to see that 20% before you get out the door and uh oh and they were just sharing recently dreams they were having um was it Laney can I share this and Sor I'm just sharing all kind of stuff stuff how many you excited for the Next Generation though coming up yes Lord and um I didn't know I was going to go here but the uh really though with the with the children um but Laney they said she had this dream I think things escalated of course in the fast we do corporately stuff it's it's a lifestyle but also things tend to escalate in the in the fast corporately so Laney she goes to tell Lauren and Thomas she's like yeah I had a dream mom she's like what was it said ah it's simple I saw God on the throne he was a king and he had a trophy but it was a a cup a gold trophy that he he drank he gave me grape juice out of I'm like oh Laney you're just having communion with the king of kings and a Daniel Fast yeah no sweat no big one on that what's up what's up dude um so anyway but so Ashlin she just turned 16 just incredible and the Benjamins were telling me it came on her I think it was a desire right to to just devour the word of God and she started at the beginning of the fast she wanted to read the whole Bible through in the fast 21 days never heard any anybody that did that in her life I was telling we're going to get like a plaque of Ashlin on the wall with just smiling holding the Bible like uh but she read it through and like super like a month or right under how many 22 days read the Bible through just hungry devour yeah isn't that amazing and uh I was like man what' you do ashon you started in Genesis yes sir I said okay I was like did you read the genealogies I'm teasing I didn't ask her that I'm sure she did ought have been like skip skip no teasing but anyway so thankful and um just where this thing heading you know Jesus be glorified through our life and anything we touch so we will pray and um just jump in it'll be good Lord uh thank you for um this time together in your presence I I pray even now holy spirit of God that you would move do whatever you want to do Lord I pray that you would begin to flow like a river we welcome the River of Life from revelation 22 the Ezekiel 47 River it gets deeper and deeper and deeper get deeper oh River of Life it flows from the throne from the presence of God pray the undercurrent will just go under the feet of the people Mighty Glory go forth that will lift up the sun you're everything to us Jesus I ask that you would liberate people heal bodies even as they sit there under the the word Let the River just flow right under the chairs right bro they're they're wild so um whatever you feel but I know what I love is the fear of the Lord I had them sharing a little bit with William one of the table nights we were privileged to hang with them and chat and the fear of the Lord was one of the most prominent things in that encounter on this next gener the fear of the Lord reverence Holiness like no Gams and they they went upright so fast away from sin and set apart from the things of this Earth liveing super pure burning right now devouring the word every time I talk to them talking about the word and everything ties back to the word it's wild encounters but it goes back to the word and um but specifically bro I think this would be epic I can kind of commentate the part with your mom will she see this though that wouldn't be good oh good okay we could unlist this part or something but um remember when the encounter happened and then y'all were like texting your mom and this is It's hilarious too but just how are yall feel hay Cole yeah yeah Haze Cole um yeah so I was walking in s for a long time and um randomly one night we're sitting on the sofa I'm talking to my mom on the phone and Cole and I are just chatting Brothers yeah brothers and um we hear somebody like um trying to get in it's like 1: or 2 a.m. and we hear somebody trying to get into the to the door like unlock the door to our house so we're like what is going on so Cole goes to the front door and we're like you know waiting I'm like Trace like we wake up Trace get his AR so tra is running around was AR that's awesome TR Trace goes and gets his guns he's ready and um and we're like Mom somebody's like we're still on the phone with her I'm like Mom somebody's breaking in like we got to go so um we get off the phone with her real long story but about a 3H hour uh encounter with the Lord came from that and um fear of the Lord just came in open ey Vision just really which which real quick yeah he starts slipping back into when he talks about it which Hazel tell you he's not that guy he says I don't even pray in tongues he probably does now but I anyway just yeah yeah yeah didn't happen before then yeah um but just really really intense makes me shaky thinking about it still but yeah after so the door knob was Supernatural yeah so door knob a whole lot of things stuff was breaking in the house um doors opening and closing um just really just super really weird stuff and uh stuff I'm not used to and then so at the end of the encounter I my mom's like texting us like all throughout like what is going on last thing she heard was tell them quick Cole remember you said he yeah or something yeah so uh basically my mom was like texting us to this encounter thing she heard was there's someone at the door and and get the AR and so we like hang up with her we we literally we did like a lap around the house a couple times with the AR just like I got your back like yeah we had like three police cars come like it was that real we heard someone putting a key in the door turning the handle we looked at each other there's no one at the door through the peephole and uh so we get off the phone with my mom this and then to make a long story short the encounter was it happened when uh we were sitting there and I I told Hayes and trace my roommate something something about this feels spiritual there's just like this spiritual like substance on it and uh Hayes goes uh I was just reminded of a dream and he shares this this long elaborate dream where there were these waves and uh I just said to him I said usually in dreams waves are symbolic of the coming judgment of the Lord and when I said that he goes whoa whoa whoa and falls to the ground and like we grew up super reformed like not charismatic at all he hasn't been exposed to any of this and and there was something that just cracked in the home and like he said for three hours the fear of the Lord was in our home uh and it uh it wasn't cuddly it wasn't loving that's what I'm very familiar with in the presence of the Lord and this was terrifying I love that it was it was it it was absolutely terrifying it was like every bit of compromise in my life was very black and white and it was like I I didn't even I couldn't I didn't feel room to make a decision to keep on to things to hold on to things it was there's no room for it come on man and Hayes uh is in this encounter for a long time and he doesn't even he didn't even really recall this but he he was on his back just screaming at the top of his lungs he is coming judgment is coming a sword is coming a sword is coming and you were in like a trance right he didn't remember it when he came out yeah he he yeah he had fainted and he was in a trance and he's going in and out of English and tongues and he's never spoken in tongues before he was completely gone and the things he was saying were just cutting he's like I see a sword it's black and white there's no compromise there's no room for hey just kept saying he's coming the Lord is coming judgment is coming a sword is coming um and so anyways to get back to my my thing with the mom uh with my mom uh she she's like texting us she's like literally 20 text like what is going on are you okay what and and uh and I and I just responded uh Hayes is encountering God and she just goes okay cuz she's like what what does this even mean I won't tell Dad she said I won't tell Dad yeah yeah that's so good too funny so ever since then it's uh like Brian was referring to there's just been a lot of uh not that we're looking for it but a lot of angelic activity um and just the the Lord's sovereignly moving and just uh like the Lord came like there's no there's no room for it the second that we start kind of like veering off it's just very quick that the Lord addresses it and it's so important that we stay like that in these times it's just stay serious yeah stay serious it's urgent and come on yeah our hearts to stand that posture but so good also yeah that night we all slept on the couch together like we fell asleep shaking empis on the no cuddly like it was yeah so good come on man give it up for colon Hayes love y'all bro so powerful praise God ain't that amazing that's stirring it's so stirring God's just picking people off you know but I love that somebody's breaking in the house the mom thinks they got ARS running around it and then don't text her back for like three hours um okay I may um go quick on this one are we doing the baby dedication are they here okay awesome awesome well um I'm going to be super quick then and then I we're just throwing all kind of curveballs this morning I just feel like we'll see where it goes but um also to make room for a fire tunnel that's cool so I'm going to be super fast and just I feel like man people going to get rocked hello Sunday morning um and uh if you have time and then I know a lot of us have to get our children just bring them on over just just get lost in the glory see where it goes um because also too if you need healing in your body I've been noticing our fire tunnels it's like I don't know if the anointing is getting deeper and and more potent but more healings are happening we just got another one sent in recently last fire tunnel the one we did after the Ascend Gathering that um menstrual cycle was totally healed um and then I know a young man's eyes Ashlin so just believe too as you come through that you'll be totally healed and um I'll make room we'll dedicate this precious I think Gabriel isn't it yeah this precious couple and um Atley named and I'll just talk to you from my heart real quick on the parable of the talents been digging through it and um won't be so much of a word study we could but just for the sake of time so real quick Matthew 25 um many of you know one of my favorite probably my favorite Parable uh one of my favorite no the favorite parable of mine of the Lords is the 10 virgins right before this and then he kind of Segways into the parable of the talents um but what's interesting here is Matthew 24 we all know Paul Keith so good last week he he brought it up again but Matthew 24 all Scholars know it's the most mascot end time passage there is in just about all of the word of God as far as detail super explicit it and the Lord goes Matthew 24 you know they're like what's it going to be at the end and he says I'll tell you what and it'll be as though it were in the days of Noah and there's there's all these analogies in there and then the Lord jumps from Matthew 24 the time of the end that we're in and he jumps straight to the parable of the 10 virgins and what's interesting is it's the only Parable that the Lord attaches to a timeline he let me get some clean act from that prayer earlier thank you sir the we're hey at least we're we're always we're consistent I remember to turn the mic off praise the Lord but anyway uh it's the only Parable that the Lord attaches to a timeline so the Lord shares many parables as we know the Mustard Seed prodical son wheat and the tears but he always just comes out of nowhere and says for the Kingdom of Heaven is like this the Lord does but the virgins and the parable of of the 10 talents they're attached they're the only ones that he gives you the lowdown on the end right before his return and then he jumps to these Parables and he goes then he says this is the end it'll be like this famine earthquakes shaking uh hard times that this world has never seen he just goes down an entire list and then he goes then at the end then the kingdom of heaven will be like this so all the Mustard Seed prodical Sun they're just floating out there they are what they are but the the 10 virgins Parable he attaches to a Time meaning the notion The Narrative of Heaven in the end is going to look is going to be really hyperfocused on that theme virgins after one thing the bride uh the bridegroom the bride after one thing the bridegroom and what's interesting if you studied out in Greek the parable of the talents he doesn't so let's jump quick to verse 14 so we can see it he just finishes the parable of the wise virgins and then Matthew 25:14 the the Bible says for the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man traveling to a far country is that what it says in y'alls more or less well the Greek though doesn't have for the Kingdom of Heaven is it doesn't have that in there it just says it is like meaning Jesus was still talking from the parable of the 10 vers virgins attached to a time are you guys following me so end times this that the other there and then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins and he stops that Parable and he says it's also like this and so point being another thing I love about this Parable is I believe these these two right now are super hyperfocused on the end time uh narrative the 10 virgins and the parable of the talents and what the kingdom will be like and what's interesting is if you jump we won't do it now but later you can jump to 31 right after the parable of the talents and the Lord talks about his coming there he goes I'll be the I'll come judge separate the sheep from the goats and so meaning you can look at it like this the Lord's entire life his Earthly Ministry this that and the other and then he talks about the end drops last two parables in there and then returns and those two parables are the 10 virgins and the parable of the talents meaning if you if you got the news re of heaven right now and you kind of went to a boardroom and sat around listened to angels and Elders this would be a super focused theme right now the 10 virgins and the parable of the talents and this one gets overlooked um often and so I'll just paraphrase quick through it because it's about 16 verses and then pull out some points and and we'll pray but essentially what this Parable is the Lord says there uh then it will be like this there'll be a man traveling to a far country he's a ruler he's a lord he he leads and the Bible says that he will call he calls to himself his servants and delegates gives some Goods to them three servants the first one he gives five talents to the Bible says the second two the third one one and a talent biblically it's not like you're GI gifts you know like I can juggle three balls you know it's it's it's it's like uh worth in scripture and I studied out a talent this is pretty wild a talent is actually scholars believe was worth about um 20 years wages it's a big bar of gold um for the common labor of that day so they say that day about $30,000 but in our current day and age if you if a Lord came to you what's your name right here gun gun no is that your real name it is bro your parents heard the Lord oh my gosh that's that's nice I use your name all the time when I'm talking about like generals and I'll never forget you now I'm like bro Smith Wigglesworth Gunner where are you from Orlando Orlando nice man I love that so anyway so say to the Lord and you were serving under this man you know these are these servants and and he hands you one Talent it's about 20 years wages it's it's great great worth it's not just gifts that you have inherently it's it's worth entrusted to somebody for Kingdom Purpose and um but they said current Day biblical times was around $30,000 but 20 years wages he he gave them uh per Talent current day is a little over a million dollar so he was really entrusting a lot with these servants so you got to figure the first one five talents so about a hundred years wages a lifetime of wages the second one two talents about 40 years wages um the third one one Talent 20 years wages and in the Bible if you read closely there's so much there that's really rich and good but it says he gave to each according to their own ability and I think we see that not not fully at times just one-sided not fully and just to stop there quick you see often I think we think God delegates according to the own ability god-given and that certainly is there there's people that are gifted in many different ways from God meaning it wasn't in your own doing God gifted you in a certain way but the more I'm walking with the Lord and just through life I'm noticing he balances that out so well so masterfully you'll see some somebody it almost looks like he went into overload on gifting and gifting them they dance they sing they can write they're smart they and then other people like oh you know they it just feels that way I'm being honest you're like Lord did you skip them in the but God's so perfect he but you'll always see strengths in the people that don't inherently look like they're as gifted they're so strong in certain areas that it balances out for instance I've seen people they're so gifted it's actually to their own it's detrimental to them it's it's to their own demise they're so gifted and God says go here and they they they so trust in themselves because they're so good at doing things that they won't hear him whereas some people that aren't that gifted all they have is God they're like man I can't do nothing anyway like Lord and and they they follow and so the Lord's he's delegated out great masterfully and and of course there's truth there but I love that it says he delegated each um to each according to their own ability not what he gave you what you were able to your own ability and I think the way that would translate from the Lord how he often looks at it is when he comes up on somebody and looking for Ability how God sees it is really their availability so in God's eyes what he sees as ability is actually availability and we have to know that and I'm definitely preaching to me I've missed this so many times so meaning if the Lord wants to come give talents to one the guy I guarantee you it looked like this if he came to the guy and gave five talents he saw a lot of ability which meant there was tons of availability he knew he says now this guy's not pre precomposed like set on other things like he's not doesn't have a preconceived setup for his life and planned it all out like I can get in I can entrust him with things that are valuable whereas the one often we would look at it it's like oh he wasn't that talented or gifted but I believe he was often it can look like you're just already preset on so many other things you want to do in you don't have room for God and so I think that's very helpful for you and I to know first off on that but anyway 521 and then the Bible says as soon as the Lord delegated those talents he left immediately there's so much here it's like hold on why got the way to say that but left immediately and then the Bible says after a long time I love that the Lord is this way he he'll put you in seasons for a long time and just watch you he's not in a hurry and he's not interested in shortening it for you you if you fail you fail he doesn't he doesn't change things he does the way things the way he he does them he he likes things long because it's a whole another sermon but time is one of the great testers I've begin to learn this he uses it in his favor I've heard this be um mentioned before it's not biblical but it applies where man's greatest enemy is time because if you're not care it waits for no one and what I love about time is it exposes people and things in time if you build I used to be a builder if you don't build in a quality way it may look pretty upfront but time will expose it and we built along many guys that would cut corners and and build cheaper but in time their stuff would fall Windows wouldn't shut right and this that and the other and another thing that time does is exposes people I love that the Bible says the the upright inherit the land enter it sorry the upright enter the land but Integrity sustains it anybody can show up good on job higher day tie their tie look sharp say what they need to be what needs to be said but check them in about 6 months when the manager left and nobody's watching them and just time and things get mundane and you had got a pat on the back and everything's just the same this is where time starts exposing things and it's really beautiful and so this is what he essentially did he gives talents to three guys left immediately he didn't sit there to keep patting them on the back giv him a cookie every week this is Lord I I love these type sides to the Lord he say this is what the Kingdom of Heaven is like it's not always sugarcoated in warm fuzzy goosebumps every day you start to read this you're like man there's not a lot of emotion here it's just super straightforward and Jesus read letters like oh yeah Kingdom's just like this all the time not always but one side to it's this way and what we'll see here in a second I'll just kind of condense it speed it up is the Lord will give you two sets of talents in your life in two installments and of course it speaks to the end eternally but also I believe you can apply this in everyday life like how the Lord works with us what the kingdoms like the word kingdom is domain rule Reign order the the Heavenly order not the worldly one how the Kingdom of Heaven works and essentially what the Lord will do is give you a first set of talents to test you I like to call them testing talents and all they are meant to do is test you to see what you will then do with ruling talents in every phase and chapter of Life the Lord's basically doing this he said this is what the kingdom he's given us the map he's given us the Playbook he's saying this is what the Kingdom of Heaven is like I'm going to come give you talents essentially uh initially sorry to test you and then whatever you do good or bad with that um will then dictate if you rule or if you don't and there's so much there also where you shift from being the servant to ruling alongside him and what we want often is to rule but not pass real well the testing servant side that's why I love the obedience is better than than sacrifice we get the prophetic words about ruling we want to skip this chapter and go Rule and the kingdom doesn't work that way it never will you know you can't even bring your prophecies to the Lord that he gave you by the spirit prophetic dreams but Lord remember that dream I was going to be ruling with you he's like no I know but you are destroying the chapter of testing you through these talents so you won't cross over like it won't happen and I've run into it plenty so anyway left immediately came back after a long time and it says he came to settle accounts with the three came to the first one who had five and the Bible says he ran he he in the meantime traded made five more that this guy definitely had ability you're talking a hundred years wages and he doubled it and and real quick too of of this time a long time a far country it didn't say a far neighborhood or city even or state a far country long time like we need to get used to this with God this is how the Kingdom of Heaven is it'll put you in seasons and it'll they'll take a long time and then he'll test you at the end of it and if you didn't steart well those talents you can repeat them this called go around the mountain and I just don't I don't like mountains seeing the same side do you all unless okay we like promised land and so it really looks like stewarding the season we in and so this guy doubles it second one two talents he runs he he traded doubled it he had two and the one with one Talent the Bible says he went and hid it a lot of us know the passage he went and hid his one Talent still 20 years wages he hid it and waited all that time probably distracted busy doing other things that he thought mattered to him and this is what I love about it too because the Lord he he entrusts you with his talents all throughout this passage it said he gave them his talents when he came back he came to settle his accounts you'll see later with the the the ruler that sorry the servant that didn't steuart well he says you should have taken my money put it in the bank it's it's his worth he's putting in you so my point is a lot of times what we'll do is God will give us worth and if we're not careful and don't recognize it we'll bury it and be busy about many other ishma things we think are important all that time and he comes back to settle accounts and he doesn't care how amazing you think all these other things you wasted your time on he he's going to ask about that one Talent he gave you how did you Steward that but it seems small and insignificant I had all this other stuff going this was popular at the time he does not care he's going to come ask about that one talent I gave you this is very important and he he does not get emotional he doesn't like you can cry all you want he he's I love this about the Lord he's very truthful and he calls things as they are and so let's fast forward up to where I got us to um verse 26 we land it quick now no back up to 24 please 24 he get so he gets to the last servant who had won the the First with five and the second one with two they bring him to him and he says well done good and faithful servant he G he gives two adjectives to the to those and he also gives two to the next showing you what the polar opposite is of good and faithful he gives you the opposite and so the first two he says well done good job he's very affirming he says enter into the joy of your lord if you read it meaning I'm I'm full of joy and you even get to um enter into that and there's just his Hearts to give and you'll see that at the end but now we get to the one um servant who who didn't Steward it well in verse 24 and it says then he who had received the one Talent came and said Lord I knew you to be a hard man reaping where you have not sown and Gathering where you have not scattered seed and I was afraid and went and hid your Sil the ground look uh there you have what is yours so this is really interesting because you didn't hear the first two servants say you're a hard man if you read that for face value you go oh wow he is hard but you you can tell it's it's clearly a misperception and there's so much here I've got tons of verses and notes and stuff but laziness this is where I'm really thrown a grenade at of Truth laziness the lord it's wild on the 21st day of the Daniel fast he highlighted it like I've never seen laziness and he's really really it's the sin of laziness the sin of idleness he's coming at and this one right here it's not fornication it's not Pride it's not selfish ambition all the ones that normally obvious it's lazy and I think in this last hour along with the parable of the 10 virgins the Lord's checking people not for Pride not for even deception he is all those things but he's going to hit this sin of idleness like we've never known I feel like he's sifting people right now and right away this is another one of those things where we normally think it's for our neighbor like these are one of these sermons where you're like oh I know man Jill H she's so lazy every time I ask her to do you know or my husband or whatever but these are these are one of those ones like no help help me not go introspective condemnation but truth and not be like naive because if we're honest we often have blind spots and we we grab when this pertains to us we gravitate to that which we do amazing and we somehow can't see all the areas that the Lord's trying to put his finger on and so when you speak of this because literally you'll see what what the Lord says to them if you keep reading um verse 26 he said but his Lord answered and said to him you Wicked and lazy servant he wasn't interested in anything else he just called it what it was he says take from him and give to the one who had 10 talents you're like hold on that that's not what about the bridegroom coming he is but he's also telling you I love this was red letters the Lord said this and the lazy servant thought he was a hard man but he's not because as you continue to read Jesus says look when I come back in the installment chapters of your destiny now or eternity either one they both apply I'm I'm only testing you to see what I can then give back to you in in a more full way to rule with me it's not about him but laziness it it clearly I can show you in Scripture it brings about deception you don't see rightly um a and fear know this a lot of people don't see the connection laziness and fear run in Tandem and I just want to hit this thing head on if it you know you curl your toes in uh that's fine but or ignore me that's fine but I'm preaching to me and all of us laziness and Fe it rcts fear you hear right here he goes I knew you'd be a hard man and I was afraid Proverbs says the lazy man says no no I can't go out a lions out there it'll eat me you you never connect fear to lazy but they run in tand them because they both paralyze they'll have you stuck in your tracks lazy and so lazy it'll start off that way because it's just fleshly it's just sin it's in there it's all through God hates it and I'm not you know me I'm all about rest not doing ishmail but also there something about in the hour I can feel that the Lord is wild last thing I would have thought he was going to highlight on day 21 of Dani he was like he's there's a holy he's just done with it he's done with it and you can see it in this parable of the talents he's he's shifting now I feel like he's literally moving talents around and if we want steuart well and you can bring all the excuses you want there's another thing lazy does it always brings excuses um but he's going to see right through it you know and so anyway feel though it it attracts it's attracted to laziness and not seeing rightly whereas the Lord's just trying to test so he can give more and move you from a servant to ruling with him and this is why initially too this is how the Lord he's done it with me he'll test you to see how deep you can go with the initial things he's trying to entrust you with and then he'll take you even deeper into relationship to where you you rule with him but we just really got to hear the Lord in this hour but as I was touching on earlier often we won't we won't see the blind spots in our life we we see us as amazing and right when I mention that like lazy we start thinking if let's say you work real hard on your career we we will immediately go there and I'm I'm always talking to me but it can touch in certain areas of our life and I think especially in like Christian circles that aren't getting caught up in the blatant sins this is the sneaky one it's another one of those sneaky ones it slips into our life and we don't know it it masks itself like so many things Ezekiel 16 he brings a prophecy to I think Samaria he says oh yeah one of the main main sins in there a prophecy like four of them he goes oh yeah like your sister Sodom um he hits gluttony and he says the abundance of idleness and I just want to encourage Us in this hour if you want to figure out a a dead giveaway key to step into the favor of God leave laziness fast he'll never breathe upon it one of the number one ways you can quit the holy spirit is to join lazy holy spirit will look at that like no he will not coincide with that I promise you God will not he created man put him in the garden right away to tend and keep anything we do in God he this is how he operates I I love Proverbs 6 we all know this one the classic it says go to the ant you sluggard why is this man on the earth and I want it to get on us to where anything we touch again not in Ishmael City but in God but we've become a diligent people very Vigilant very with a spirit of Excellence Excellence is another thing that's so biblical it's one of our pillars of the house it doesn't even know if Excellence was a person it wouldn't even know who lazy is if if Excellence walk through here you're like hey Excellence you've seen lazy lately like who they don't he does not they don't know who who they are and um idleness and slothfulness oh and another thing is this word Wicked if you study out Wicked and lazy another word for that word Wicked in Greek is slothful and that was how the Lord saw it just just point blank what I was going to say quick and I'll land it is just to where the Lord will help us see often we'll say oh no but I work hard my career i' been that's all I know I grind and so you're not lazy there but your prayer life's pathetic is that a little strong sorry yeah it's just a real word um and see so so whatever areas that we have allowed lazy and idle and just slothful to creep in Al also if you study the word out in Hebrew it means to be slow I find myself in life more and more when I come out of the presence of the Lord in the word time efficient execute time matters work while the day is at hand this is the Lord Jesus like just slow just always Loose Ends never completing starting something never finishing like this is not God he said in the end time it will be as though it were in the days of Noah and you see the Polar Opposites here's Noah working behind the voice of the Lord hard grinding 70 Years everybody else is eating drinking being marry and then the Lord came but I I Pray Again out of love and and but but sharp conviction to help us because the Lord like of all Parables he dropped before his return the bridal theme and this one right here don't play around with what I entrust you with or do but don't rule and then he's like Wicked L he didn't see him bringing any Klean acts for the guy nothing he says no take from him give to him and then he says Whoever has more will be given and they'll rule he's try he the whole reason he's doing it is he's trying to see who he can bring in and trust and have rule with he don't even want servants anymore he wants friends and a bride to rule with and if we want steuart well what he's given us he will for sure I think it's healthy for us to know he will for sure take away from and give to somebody else and I've seen this happen Time and Time and Time Again throughout the years um but let's just say yeah we're known to work real hard but our prayer life we lazy or we pray and we're Glory soakers but it comes to work uh Lord told me not to work you know that's a famous one man and I'm like why can't you pay the bills then and and I get it you know he he'll have season he took me on where I was seeking the Lord but the Bible says if you don't work you don't eat there's so many verses for that but I was thinking about it with the ant the Bible says go to the ant you Slugger next time you get a chance just go watch an ant study it out have you ever I was thinking about this in prayer have you ever seen an ant just all of a sudden on the concrete walking around just like I'm think I'm going to take a nap right here just post up and curl up and take a nap you you haven't cuz you will never see it and then I was like man maybe they get a little sleep in the Mounds you know the the hills but I promise you they probably even down there just like hey hey Tim what you want to do tomorrow you know what I mean I promise just yeah we go get that Apple if we get gem we can all three we can get that Apple oh yeah and then we'll eat the apple down plant the seed then for next week and they just get it done and the Bible says that they have no officer no ruler they don't need to be watched over and in a cookie every day and you good job good job no they just they get it done and I can feel I'm telling you of all things I'm wanting to go into Union with Christ on day 21 Daniel F he's like I really am fed up with lazy people they claim they want to be used by me and Rule with me but they won't even do anything with the first talents I give them because I'm about to start moving them and I love them and socially we get along and they're all cool and all I don't care it eternity he needs things that'll be Tried by the fire of love and they look like this and and so he's bride and on one bridegroom sorry in one instance but all of a sudden he's this ruler who also can you imagine who in the world has 160 years worth of wages just to give and entrusted people with meaning he knows how to grind and get it done and he knows Authority he's he's paid the price to get here and so when he entrust something he expects the same and the way the The Lazy ruler uh sorry servant saw it he was like I know that you you reap where you don't seow and you gather where you don't scatter but the one thing where he missed it he says I knew you to be a hard man and when he counters him you notice he don't even bring that up don't even worry about defending himself because he's not a hard man he's freely giving you things just to test you to make sure he can because he's not going to waste great worth of his son into somebody that's not going to Steward it he wouldn't do that he wouldn't be perfect and true but he's looking he's giving to see who can trust to give more to to then rule with it's not about him he's like Whoever has I'll be given more too and they will have abundance it actually says so I pray to you and I this thing would like oh yeah help me Lord you know you guys know this I believe with my children this how I rais them and we got a long way to go though oh my gosh um but man we we you work if it's in the natural you work if you seek God you seek God we we need the word like like we need this thing to get off of us this just slothful H you know and I've got a whole list of things can I say them quick that would be lazy um signs of laziness real quick just curl pull pull the toes in um or just go into denial and elbow your your your spouse um always taking shortcuts these are signs of laziness always taking shortcuts the easy way around doing something ah this is a funny story I remember we're just going to go late is that okay you can act like okay cool you can act like you got to go to the restroom sneak out man so on this job I I've shared it maybe with our students but I was working before full-time Ministry on a termite job man sweating I think it was the same job on another one I was digging these like 100 foot trench 100 degree weather humid down in the South and I I got so hot I was sweating all day I started shaking I was cold and I didn't know anything I was like that's weird I knew enough to think that's not normal I'm shivering cold in 100° weather and so I laid out on the concrete for a little while and later somebody told me that was the early stages of like a heat stroke or something I don't know but this one day this kind of funny I'm working a termite job and I pray just get on us that's all for God not ishma and works outside of the spirit but just God don't waste time now when it comes to Fellowship in family and life oh yeah so you got me the the values of the Kingdom but but we we just let this thing break off of us because listen if you want the favor of God to hit you ditch laziness Solomon wisest man on the earth who got it from God said go to the ant you sluggard just watch it in life if you start going you know I'm tired of this like I'm tired of these projects that are undone do them and watch the wind of God come because he's attracted to it it's how God is you've got four living creatures constantly flying yelling holy they're never sitting around and don't think we're going to heaven to just sip lemonade like jump in chocolate rivers or something willly Wonka Rivers we're going to be ruling and rainning I mean it's going to be wild I don't I kind of wonder if that's what the universe is for like William's going to be over Jupiter you know like I don't know but we'll be ruling and reigning it's just who God is it's just awesome and um but anyway some working monster mansion house we're doing termite drilling through the ground and whatever and they had these two big dogs that were guarding it and barking and and is a monster house I was having to go all the around the house to get to this one spot that was right there because of these two dogs I'm young in the Lord a lot of zeal not a whole lot of wisdom and I'm sitting there I'm frustrated I'm hot and I'm thinking man so this is cutting corners but also I thought I thought it was spiritual it totally wasn't I missed the Lord but I thought man these dogs are beneath me I'm a man of God I'm I'm going I'm there I'm going to be rolling Angels one day and these are dogs like I'm going through them so this cutting Corners I'm like I'm going to go through them and they just whatever Angels going to backhand them something so so I'm I'm going straight to my spot and there getting a bit vicious hair sticking up and big dogs two uh two big black ones and and uh thank the Lord I had a 5 gallon bottle of corks in my in my hand weighty enough and so I'm walking through in this oneand man I'm just walking through oh man of God I was on the word this morning you know sorry I'm teasing but I'm thinking they're beneath me you know and all this and have you guys ever tried the walking on water on a swimming pool you got to try it you'll sink but boy on we try it Jesus SN we got to practice sometime so anyway sure enough and they're biting by my hands and all this and think the Lord I had jeans on but the first one he got me he bit my knee and I and then I snapped I was less out of the Holy Spirit I'm thinking I will take his head off he's today he dies and so so I got this big Cork and he's right here all rounded up just bit me in the leg and and I have this and I'm just about to take his head off but then the second one knew could feel the tension and he's jumping on my back and I knew if I hit his his potner that he was going to tear into me so I'm kind of in a limbo but I'm really wanting to bring Vindication and not wait on the Lord's Vindication so anyway uh right about then the homeowner comes out so sorry um he he won't bite you I was like I just did it was funny I was bleeding even through my but I was fine uh but that was a phun and I remembered cutting Corners you know and think the Lord we we made it through but here's another one always wanting someone else to do the hard work or go get this for you or do that you're always looking for just delegate and just sit back and and it's okay we've all been here but Lord help us say you know what like all on purpose and my kids know this all on purpose Park way out sometimes just walk why do you got to find the spot closes just grind just get that if you sense lazy coming get it off of you it's not God go to the ant you Slugger you don't e a cookie and a pat on the back and and like we that's not us it's not Jesus it's and I want young ones to hear this me and Tommy were just talking yeah like this the older generation man don't just don't fall for it lazy lethargic God's not in it he will not breathe upon it he's into those that steuart time are effective e efficient excellent um I love diligence the the uh Proverbs even says diligence is a man's prize possession and that word studied out in Hebrew diligence means to be a threshing uh tool and in Isaiah 41 this is what I think the Lord really for all of us is wanting to start doing a lot of us are want prophecies and chapters to change but sometimes it's just idleness and he can't do anything with it he's looking to graduate us but Isaiah 41 is powerful Isaiah prophesize he says the Lord is trying to make you a new threshing instrument having sharp teeth so you can plow through hills and mountains and level obstacles in your way well one of the words for diligence is that threshing instrument and there's a whole thing there but anyway real quick um you guys want to go and stand just to get your blood flowing uh here's another sign of laziness last one to arrive first one to leave showing up last minute not uh if not late often um always wanting to do what's least required starting things never finishing them uh typically always wanting to do what you like to do over what's right um that's a really big one I tell my kids to say hey we just because we favor that no we do you do what's needed you do what's right and you you know the life doesn't just always serve you up what you like and I just pray get on us in a healthy way but biblically and knowing god and seeking him work in our work life at home diligence whatever it may be and one of the main keys to loing losing talents from God in that testing phase is just being lazy Idol you notice he didn't him and say oh you Wicked and deceived servant he said Wicked and lazy and so I pray we'd be the people like man no excuses um even at home just start to just look for things to do and be be diligent and persistent and may God entrust us um to rule because I think we're going to be shocked when he returns that's wild that that's the last Parable like that's going to be the assessment often sin of course for sure but laziness where we would stop making excuses and watch the wind of God come in a in a new way and then hopefully you and I will move from the testing Talent phase to then ruling he can entrust more if he comes back and he's like oh you just neglected it didn't recognize the value and just kind of essentially put it in the ground he's not going to give more he doesn't do it you say well but I have all these prophetic words and these dreams he doesn't care he's not going to give more where it's not been stewarded he loves them he gave you the dreams but anyway that's so good all I will pray maybe um no Elders you mind coming Judy you want to help me out bro look at him he's on he's like man he's talking about diligence I about to get up no I'm teasing I'm teasing you want to come on up and and the Wives come on up family so beautiful Gabriel Judy you can help us out you can you guys can be seated again and got the blood flowing look at this stuff muffin what were your names again venon venon Lena Lena so nice to see you guys again I know we met you recently and and so are you in Georgia I know someone's Florida or yeah we moved from Florida to Georgia okay so moved from Florida to Georgia this little stud muffin Gabriel how old is he again 10 months 10 months 10 months he's like watch this strength that's awesome he excited yeah yeah what's up buddy look at them eyes man um if we don't mind getting a microphone the one by the speaker somebody appreciate Jared Lord this precious family Lord thank you just sense Purity upon your guys life humility we thank you for that and um right now I sense his Harvest something to do with last hour Harvest on Gabriel that as as Paul told Timothy do the work of an evangelist you be a Mighty Key piece in the last day Harvest but I thank you for Gabriel's life that you will Herald the gospel you will Herald the gospel and have your face set Like Flint toward the things of God we we bless you with the spirit of the Lord come upon them I pray you'd seal them for your purposes Lord thank you Lord Jesus that he would um hear do you mind to lay hands on his ears just prophetically uh that that you would be to hear the voice of God so clearly so clearly I think you guys will be astounded at how clear uh Gabriel hears the voice of God very very very common at a young age um like like Samuel like Samuel hearing the voice of God very very clearly for for purposes that you be one reared in the presence of God I just bless you both uh in the name of the Lord thank you for their hunger thank you even moving here from from Florida May the blessing of the Lord come upon you both I pray that there' be a new um chapter in Destiny continue to unfold thank you for their faithfulness you both have been very faithful and I think there's been like resistance and things that have tried to come against you but you just plow through and you have each other there's something to do that's really powerful with each other you have each other be glorified Lord we thank you for Gabriel said be glorified in Jesus name this how are you guys feel L thank you J thank you Jesus Lord we just bless this beloved couple and Gabriel in the name of Jesus Lord I sense such a spirit of uh obedience and sensitivity in both of you um taking the step in in line with the Holy Spirit just want to bless you with the mic blessing may the Lord bless you all and keep you may the Lord make his face shine upon you may the Lord give you his peace and may the Lord continue to bless you and you may you may the whes overflow with blessings from above we just bless this couple in the name of Father Son and Holy Spirit be blessed thank you Jesus yeah Lord thank you for Gabriel thank you for his life it's so awesome that Brian heard something in regards to the Harvest because I heard the Lord say that that Gabriel is like wheat that he's like the good seed that was planted and that although the the weeds and the tears will will grow up with him there will come a day that the the fire of the Holy Spirit Will quench the weeds and he is The Good Seed as the wheat will be stored stored up in his barn he will rule and reign with him and I just am reminded of the the threshing floor of or and the jebusite that the the Temple of the Lord was initially erected on and that I just pray that Gabriel is like the wheat that was threshed there at the threshing floor that he resides in the house of the Lord all the days of his life that he knows his voice yeah like like John 10 says that that his sheep know his voice and that when strangers speak that that they don't listen because he knows the shepherd's voice that he knows the Good Shepherd thank you Jesus be glorified in and through Gabriel in Jesus name yeah so I got John 155 I am the vine you are the branches he who abides in me and I in him he Bears much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing I just feel like I want to pray that over him so father thank you for even the fruit of this family abiding in you Jesus and Lord I pray that he will have wisdom and understanding that apart from you God he can do nothing Jesus Jesus and I just felt that very strongly even Judah uh singing it this morning father thank you for this family abiding in you Lord that they will bear much fruit as they abide in the vine in Jesus name um I was hearing the word settling over you guys like I feel like the Lord is like bringing you into like a season of settling and establishing um it's like I could even see you like like a of relief almost um so and he's just so unique and set apart I feel like the Lord has a special call in his life um something specific I feel like um with what Pastor Brian was saying like him hearing the word of the Lord and writing it down like I feel like there's something with writing and um something significant um that the Lord's going to use like in the Psalms with him um so yeah I just thank you Jesus for this family Lord I Thank you for Gabriel God I thank you Father for this settling and this establishing that you're doing in in them Lord Lord I Thank You Lord that their Roots would go down deep into you Jesus and that they would draw up nourishment from Jesus from you lord lord I bless this family God I thank you for marking Gabriel and setting him apart for your kingdom God we bless them Lord in Jesus name yeah um I got Psalm um 1121 blessed is is the man who fears the Lord who greatly Delights in his Commandments really the whole Psalm but I just felt like he was supposed to carry the fear of the Lord in a real Rich way even beginning now so I just want to bless him with that um Gabriel I pray that you just walk and you know the Lord and you carry the fear of the Lord the Lord would make your heart steady firm in his word that you would be so generous you would not even you'd be so selfless you wouldn't even think of yourself the cost would be I just heard that you would count the cost and you would build what the Lord um wants you to build and for you Lena I just heard um be still and know I feel like the Lord has taking you into a time of um just waiting on the lord it's going to be a rich time with him that he's just going to come in all is good goodness and His glory and meet you there um however and whenever that looks that he's going to meet you and he's going to be so faithful to you in this season I just bless you with that Jesus um the in 1 Samuel chapter 2 it says um and Samuel grew contined to grow in stature and favor with the Lord and Men um and I really felt that over him but a few verses about it says meanwhile um same will um grew in the presence of the Lord um and I really just sense that um just even the Lord um you know giving you guys as parents a Grace to host the presence of the Lord in your home as you raise him up and um I also um saw like the sword of the word over him and just uh even with Pastor Brian and everyone sharing like uh um I see him like really falling in love with the word at a very young age for the call that he has upon his life um and I also saw like he him being like a bridge connecting to things and I'm not fully sure could be like two generations or um whatever the Lord would reveal there so I just pray Lord that the hand of the Lord would be upon him Lord that he would grow in fear of the Lord and in your presence Lord just going deep into the word and and preparing him for the greater call that you have upon his life Lord we thank you for this family in jesus' name amen thank you Jesus so good bless you guys good up the Beau family awesome you guys want to stand well um just pray and make room to a a prayer
