in this video i'll talk about the celsius and the fahrenheit temperatures what what degree both the units the degrees celsius and fahrenheit are equal and we'll calculate mathematically i will show you mathematically at what temperature both degree celsius and degree fahrenheit are equal the relationship between the degree celsius and degree fahrenheit is given by this equation okay let's say at temperature t both fahrenheit and the the cells here represent the same temperature or are equal so here tf equals to tc and we assume here is the temperature so here i'm just assuming these two are exactly the same thing and we'll find out what is how at what temperature it is equal so just plugging tf as t 9 over 5 and t plus 32 and then i'm going to solve for the t from this equation so just taking this term to the other side and it will be t minus this is positive so i'm just taking this side and it will be negative here the rest is exactly 32 and solve it so you have 5 then you have 5 t if you multiply by 5 t minus 90 equals to 32 5 t this is 5 t minus 9 t so the difference would be negative 40 divided by 5 so i'm taking 5 to the other side and negative 4 to the other side so 5 times 32 divided by negative 4 if we solve it 4 times 32 is 8 8 times 5 is 40 and you have a negative term here so that means at 40 the number 40 or if you have any object that is at minus 40 degree celsius then it is also equal to minus 40 degree fahrenheit so this is only the temperature where both degrees celsius and degree fahrenheit are exactly equal remember minus 40 degree celsius and minus 40 degree fahrenheit are exactly the same temperature at any other temperature it it will be the different okay for example zero degree celsius represents 32 degree fahrenheit okay but at minus 40 degree celsius it's also equal to minus 40 degree fahrenheit so this is it from this lecture if you have any questions any comments write down your questions in the comment section below and do not forget to like share and subscribe the channel
