III. Definitions
- Dropped: Course removed from registration, not counted in attempted units.
- In Progress: Course not completed within the Term, requires more than one Term.
- Incomplete: Arrangement to complete course later, final assessment deferred.
- Not Passed: Required assessments not completed by Term end.
- Pass: Successful completion, grade equivalent of B or better (3.00 on 4.00 scale).
- Requirement Satisfied: Satisfied through alternate coursework.
- Term: Six-month period, classes start monthly.
- Transfer: Equivalent coursework or certifications recognized.
- Withdrawn: Course or university exit before Term end.
IV. Policy
- Competency-based model, degrees earned by demonstrating competencies.
- No GPA calculated; Pass equivalent to "B" or better.
- Transcripts reflect academic competencies.
- Grades include Pass, Not Passed, In Progress, Dropped, Withdrawn.
- Grades of Not Passed/Withdrawn affect academic progress.
- Grade reports exclude transfer credit.
V. Procedures
- Passed: Successful course completion.
- Not Passed: Unsuccessful course completion by Term end.
- Requirement Satisfied: Courses completed outside of Term.
- Withdrawn: Course not completed by Term end.
- Dropped: Course dropped within Term.
- Incomplete: Temporary grade, replaced by "Passed" or "Not Passed."
- In Progress (IP): Course not completed within Term, spans more than one Term.
- Must be completed within two Terms.
- Certain eligibility criteria for IP marks.
- Included in Satisfactory Academic Progress calculation.
