The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses have just become a lot more helpful and fun. New and exciting AI features have been added, as well as new partner integrations and a limited edition pair. In this video, I'm going to show you everything that's new.
So let's talk about the improved AI features. First off, having a conversation with Meta AI is a lot easier. So the way you start a conversation with Meta AI is to say, Hey Meta. You can then ask your initial questions or comment if you just want to say hello. I'm making a video about how the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are so good as a brainstorming assistant.
Can you help me think of a hook? Here's where the experience has been improved. You no longer have to say, hey Meta, to ask follow-up questions. You can just continue the conversation naturally.
See the future of creativity with Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, your ultimate brainstorming buddy. Can you make it a little wittier, maybe include a pun of some sort? Also, you might remember that when asking Meta AI to help you with something that you're looking at, you'd have to say, look and tell me in order to query it.
Now, you can just say, hey Meta, what kind of fruit is this? This is a Kiwano melon. The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses can now help you remember things.
This is probably my favorite new feature. So, for example, if I'm flying somewhere, I don't have to worry about forgetting where I park. The glasses have me covered. I simply ask, Hey Meta, remember this parking spot. And I can use my voice to remind me to text my wife in a few hours when I land.
Speaking of communication, you can now ask Meta AI to record and send messages on WhatsApp and Messenger without having to look down at your phone. It makes life a lot easier. Now here's something that's really cool.
Video has been added to Meta AI so you can get continuous real-time help. Let's say you're at a grocery store. You can ask Meta AI to tag along and help you plan out some meals for the week based on what you're looking at as you walk down the aisles. Your glasses will also soon be able to translate speech in real time. So when you're talking to someone...
Speaking Spanish, French, or Italian, you'll actually hear what they say in English through the speakers. This is something that Mark Zuckerberg previewed on stage at MetaConnect with Brandon Moreno. Let's take a look. Hey, how are you? How was your knee back training?
Doing well. Knee is doing well. I feel strong.
I'm ramping up training. How are you doing? Are you getting ready for your next fight? Haciendo bien.
La rodilla está. Está haciendo bien. and feel strong. I'm increasing the training.
How are you? You'll also be able to use Meta AI celebrity voices with Ray-Ban Meta Glasses. So soon, iconic voices like Awkwafina, Dame Judi Dench, Keegan-Michael Key, Kristen Bell, and John Cena will bring your smart AI assistant to life and the conversation will feel a lot more natural.
and exciting. Now I've covered in a previous video how you can use Meta AI to translate text but soon you'll be able to ask Meta AI to do more with the text that you see. So for example you can ask your glasses to scan a QR code or call and text a number that you see to make everyday things easier. Hey Meta, can you scan this QR code? Links sent to your phone.
The Ray-Ban Metaglasses have also expanded their partnerships with some really exciting companies and tools. So, for example, there's an app called Be My Eyes that connects blind and low-vision people with sighted volunteers to get help with what's in front of them. Thanks to the POV calling on the Ray-Ban Metaglasses.
the volunteer can now easily see your point of view and tell you about your surroundings, giving you real-time, hands-free assistance. This is a beautiful thing. I love the fact that these glasses are improving accessibility for so many people around the world.
Beyond that, the Spotify and Amazon Music integrations have been expanded, and new partnerships with Audible and iHeartRadio have been added. So you can use your voice to search, discover, and play your favorite content on the go. Hey Meta, play my run playlist. And you can adjust the volume with a slide or pause with a tap.
We didn't just get new features, there's also some shiny new hardware. The glasses I have on now are a new limited edition. These are the shiny transparent Wayfair frames that display the tech inside of them. There are only 7,500 of these. They look so good.
And these are the transition lenses from Ray-Ban and as you can see, they seamlessly adapt to the changing light conditions almost instantly. They activate in only 25 seconds and fade in less than 2 minutes while blocking 100% of UVA. and UVB rays. And this new range of lenses is coming to the entire Ray-Ban collection. I hope you enjoy all of the new features.
