Warriors Clan Information

Overview

• Within the Warriors universe, cats live in a structured society divided into Clans.
• Five main Clans: ThunderClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan, WindClan, SkyClan.
• Unique beliefs: Two formal afterlives, StarClan and the Dark Forest.
• Other groups: Twolegplace rogues, BloodClan, WarriorClan.

The Clans

RiverClan

• Known for swimming and fishing skills.
• Camp near the river.
• Current leader: Icestar, Deputy: Owlnose.

ShadowClan

• Known for stealth and eating unconventional prey (frogs, toads).
• Live in pine forests.
• Current leader: Tigerstar, Deputy: Cloverfoot.

ThunderClan

• Heavily featured in books, known for stalking prey in forests.
• Current leader: Squirrelstar, Deputy: Ivypool.

WindClan

• Live on moorlands, known for hunting rabbits.
• Current leader: Harestar, Deputy: Crowfeather.

SkyClan

• Known for jumping heights, climbing trees.
• Current leader: Leafstar, Deputy: Hawkwing.

Other Clans

BloodClan

• Founded by Scourge, does not believe in StarClan.
• Ruthless, no care for sick or elderly.

WarriorClan

• Formed by kittypets play-acting as warriors.
• Current leader: Monkeystar, Deputy: Fang.

StormClan

• Formed by merging ThunderClan and WindClan.
• Eventually disbanded; remnants reformed original Clans.

Clan Hierarchy

Leader

• Manages Clan, granted nine lives, name ends with "-star."

Deputy

• Second-in-command, organizes patrols, becomes leader upon leader's death.

Medicine Cat

• Healer and spiritual leader, communicates with StarClan.

Mediator

• Resolves disputes within and outside Clan.

Warrior

• Main providers of protection and food, make up most of the Clan.

Apprentice

• Train to become warriors or medicine cats, names end in "-paw."

Queen

• She-cats nursing or expecting kits.

Kit

• Kittens under six moons old, names end in "-kit."

Elder

• Retired cats, respected for past service.

Trivia

• Suggestion of other Clans beyond the ones by the lake, with their codes and prophecies.
