we have a problem we wrote a script we heard over a thousand auditions we recorded over 40 actors but after all that after all that effort it will all be for nothing without you here's [Music] why about a year ago we recorded our animated movie ataka and since then I've been thinking about the animated process what it takes to make a movie like this and recording over 40 voice actors live in studio really show me just how important it is to have a great community of people working together to make something great and now we're trying to find the same type of community for the animation of our movie because a lot of times in lowbudget animation that just isn't how it is working on animated projects often involves tight deadlines and hard conditions that often result in a final product that has very little of the soul and personality of the animator it's just work that requires you to give a piece of yourself and then you don't really get anything back it's not how it should be when you look at some of the best animated movies out there I think of movies like Spirited Away into the spider-verse princess monoke all of these movies even though they're made with great technical ability are all backed by a lot of love and feeling put into every frame it's a priority and not an afterthought and I think in a world of cheap rushed animation we need movies like that now more than ever and that's the type of movie We're trying to make with a taka it's a story that's been written modeled and recorded with passion and love at every step of the way and to take it to the final step and animate it we're looking for people who feel just as passionate about making art like this as we do and that's why we decided to open animator applications to everyone because we need you to make a taka possible I'll put it up front this is a lowbudget independent movie that said every dollar that can go to animators is going to animators and I will make a dime unless this movie succeeds I think that when you're asking people to work for a lower rate it has to be made up for in other ways that means come comtable timelines creative collaborative environment it's a great way to build your resume and you actually get to leave your creative fingerprint on the final film we're making we're trying to Pioneer a new way to make great animated movies but we can't get there without you with animation you really do need some experience to succeed so if you're just starting out it's probably not the best fit but if you're an animator using other software like Maya Cinema 4D or you're even a really good 2D animator and you're willing to learn our software blender then feel free to apply and because we're working remotely you can apply from any country in the world we don't need only career animators and people with long resumes we just need people with skill who really care about making something special make something with your heart something memorable that lasts if that's you we'd love to have you apply at aam movie.com animate there we have another video with more details about being an animator with us this entire movie has been about trying to break new grounds in lowbudget animation and with your help we can finally make that dream dream a reality can't wait to see you there that was such a okay like I was blocking a punch
