CNA Bed Bath Procedure for Mrs. Smith

Patient Confirmation: Confirms he is addressing Mrs. Smith and checks her name band.
Consent & Communication: Asks Mrs. Smith for consent to proceed with the bed bath.

Supplies Gathering: Indicates gathering necessary supplies for the bed bath.
Privacy: Closes the curtains for privacy.
Hand Hygiene: Washes hands before collecting supplies and starting the procedure.

Bed Adjustment: Raises bed to comfortable height and lowers side rail.
Gloves: Puts on gloves before starting the bath.
Gown Removal: Removes Mrs. Smith's gown carefully.
Water Temperature Check: Ensures water is safe and comfortable for Mrs. Smith.
Towel Placement: Places towels under Mrs. Smith’s head and arm.

Eye Cleaning:
