Greetings & Daily Expressions

  • Buenos dĂ­as means good morning; use it to greet people.
  • Ja voy means I am coming; use as a quick response when called.
  • Ya me voy means I am leaving; use when exiting.
  • Ya regresĂ© means I'm back; use when returning.
  • No pasa nada means it’s okay/nothing happened; use to reassure.

Expressing Needs & Responses

  • No puedo means I can't.
  • Por supuesto, claro, and con gusto all mean of course.
  • No lo sĂ© means I don’t know.
  • No tengo idea means I have no idea.
  • Lo sabĂ­a means I knew it.

Giving Directions & Making Requests

  • Por aquĂ­ means this way/around here.
  • Por allá means that way.
  • No olvides means don't forget.
  • Espera means wait.
  • SĂ­gueme means follow me.

Time & Speed

  • Más rápido means faster.
  • Con calma means take it easy/with patience.
  • Ya casi means almost/I'm almost done.

Expressing Preferences & Feelings

  • Mejor means better; mucho mejor is much better.
  • Mejor no means better not; used when changing your mind.
  • Me encanta means I love it.
  • Me gusta mucho means I like it a lot.
  • Me molesta means it bothers me.

Social Interactions & Politeness

  • Que te vaya bien/que disfrutes means have fun/have a good time.
  • Provecho means enjoy your meal.
  • PerdĂłn/disculpe means excuse me.
  • Por favor (separate words) means please.
  • No te preocupes means don’t worry.

Departures & Farewells

  • Nos vemos means see you.
  • Hasta mañana means see you tomorrow.
  • No te vayas means don’t leave (stay here).
  • No vayas means don’t go (don’t go there).

Describing Weather & Events

  • Hace calor means it’s hot.
  • Hace frĂ­o means it’s cold.
  • QuĂ© calor/frĂ­o means how hot/cold!
  • Está de moda means it’s trendy/in style.
  • Es divertido means it’s fun.
  • Es aburrido means it’s boring.

Family & People

  • Es mi mamá/papá means this is my mother/father.
  • Es mi hijo/hija means this is my son/daughter.
  • Es mi tĂ­a/tĂ­o means this is my aunt/uncle.

Other Useful Phrases

  • ÂżQuĂ© haces? means what are you doing?
  • ÂżCĂłmo estás? means how are you?
  • ÂżDesde cuándo? means since when?
  • Estoy en eso means I’m on it.
  • Un momento means one moment.
  • Piensa means think about it.
  • No importa means it doesn't matter/who cares.
  • ÂżDe verdad? means really?
  • ¡QuĂ© chistoso! means how funny!
