The beauty of Dayang Sumbi was so famous throughout the country. Many kings and princes scrambled to marry her. Even to the point of war between kingdoms. Dayang Sumbi was a princess who loved to weave. Most of her time is spent making beautiful woven fabrics. One time while weaving, her spool of thread fell outside the palace. Because of being a nobleman, Dayang Sumbi was forbidden to leave the palace on foot. Feeling desperate to take the thread, He also said an oath. "Whoever finds my spool! If she's a girl, I'll make her sister, and if it's a boy, I'll marry her." Not long after, a dog came carrying Dayang Sumbi's spool of thread. Because she had sworn an oath, Dayang Sumbi fulfilled her promise and still married him even though Tumang was a dog. Hearing that the princess was going to marry a dog made the king angry. He drove Dayang Sumbi out of the palace. Now Dayang Sumbi lives in a simple hut in the middle of the forest with Tumang who always faithfully accompanies her. As time went on, Dayang Sumbi found out that Tumang was not an ordinary dog. Every full moon he changes to his true form to become a handsome god. As promised they both got married.
