to another video you've got mred to everything English and I know you guys are in full revision mode you are learning your quotes you are learning your techniques you are learning your analysis and you're trying to predict what is going to come up in the exam but guys what if I told you that none of that matters anymore because you've got Mr Everything English and I've got your back because I believe that I have created the ultimate essay plan that fits every every possible question that they can throw your way so in this video guys let's go over that entire essay plan everything education tuition for maths English and science ja and hide one essay that fits everything let's begin in my first paragraph guys I chose the quote AP like Fury and for my technique I chose a simile and I would talk about how is compared to an animal specifically an ape which shows he's devolved he's not fully evolved as a human being he's animalistic and I would link it to Darwin's theory of evolution and I would show the dangers of a human being trying to do God's work in jaal trying to create hide rather than create a fully functioning human he's created a devolved species and guys when I when I zoom in I will do I will zoom into the symbolism of Fury out of all all the features it could have said AP like power AP like hearing AP like eyesight it chose the idea of losing control the fury the anger and it shows you how primitive hide actually is that's that paragraph there paragraph number two guys I chose the weather we need the weather somewhere in there and the best weather quote for me is in chapter 4 when it says the fog rolled over the city beautiful and guys for my technique I'm going to do personification I'm going to talk about how the fog is rolling how he slowly coming over the city of London and it's the idea guys that the fog represents society and the sins of society and how the people of this city is doomed because almost evil is taking over and guys you can also link it to pathetic fallacy as your Technique now when I zoom in guys I'm going to zoom in and talk about the gothic genre a big Convention of the gothic genre is that it loves to weaponize the weather loves it and the weather's always dark and the weather is always evil and the weather itself tells the story it's a aid and I use the phrase It's a weapon so when Hyde commits evil acts the fog comes down to help him out and that is the convention of the gothic genre that is paragraph number two so so far guys I've got language language language and now I've got a bit of form when I talk about the weather in context of the gothic genre paragraph number three guys one of my favorite quotes the animal Within Me licking the chops of memory lovely quote to show The Duality the battle that he's having now this idea now guys my technique is zoomorphism because jaal is giving himself animal features but the animal Within Me licking the chops of memory guys it's salivating hide is dying to come out imagine your favorite meal and then your mouth goes watery that's what hide in Jackal is doing is dying the battle between good and evil and evil is bursting to make an appearance and guys for me this is foreshadowing why is it foreshadowing I I I I say this quote is similar to the quote in McBeth act like an innocent flower but be the serpent the evil side the serpent always wins in this one because the animal is licking the chops of memory it shows that it's salivating it's enjoying it and that feeling will eventually take over and the evil will come out and win and that is why I link it to Freud and the ID because it shows you that ultimately man when in a jeel battle when when faced with good and evil evil tends to win because man is a big slave to his desire is a slave to their it and my last paragraph is the infamous quote guys is the quote that everyone and their dad and their dog knows trampled calmly when describing how Hyde behaves with that girl now oxymoron guys because trampling is a very aggressive act the adverb calmly shows how he has no remorse no feelings and so on now these are my four quotes there's my four techniques there's my four zooming in and there's my two pieces of context I have everything you need to write a grade n essay every bit of the mark scheme has been ticked off now on the day of your exam out of these four quotes you only need to use two because the other two quotes that we're going to use we will get them from the extract now you might say sir are you sure you can use these quotes for lots of different questions I can and let me prove it Guys these are all of the past paper questions that have come up so guys in 2017 we had Jackal and sympathy how would I use these quotes to talk about sympathy when it comes to the character of jaob first quote guys we feel sorry for jackob because in this quote we realize how Jackal has lost all control he's lost all control the evil side has come out and taken over because Hyde is going completely ape crazy now I'll do this one lost because it's the hardest one to do so this one I'll do lost this one we feel sympathy for Jackal guys easy peasy look at the Battle he's having to go through look how torn He Is We realize that this is not easy for him he's in a constant to and fro he's in a tug of war between the good and the evil the last one guys trample calmly how do we feel sympathy for jaal because we see guys the the the extreme evilness of his evil side he attacks a young innocent girl remember guys hide is an extension of jaal and it shows you how how can such a man have such a deep disgusting desire now how would you link the fog one to Jackal and sympathy I would use that to show guys how the fog illustrates the weather illustrates how jaal is doomed he's not going to win because just the way the fog takes over London the fog is a symbol of how the evilness will take over hide sorry Jack lovely Point all right different question different question guys um 2018 was about mystery and tension it was talking about mystery and tension let's start with number two the fog r rolling over guys oh man it creates massive mystery because we're wondering what is the fog covering up what is going to happen now that the fog is going to conceal in the eyes of society this one creates massive tension who's going to win is the good side going to win or is the evil side going to win then guys mystery and tension AP like Fury this creates massive massive mystery why because it's the idea how devolved can hide get so your point could be that the writer creates immense mystery through presenting hide as an incomplete human as a reader we wonder how devolved can't he get how insane can he get how crazy can his actions get how animalistic can he get what limit is there if there is a limit and then guys the idea of tension come on he trampled calmly this creates tension guys I will talk about this quote in reference to the rich and the poor this shows us that divide because when he tramples calmly it creates immense tension around and how does he fix it take some money and leave me alone all right guys next one next one next one next one let's do hide being inhuman now guys look I'm not even picking I'm literally doing 2017 2018 2019 hide being inhuman guys come on so easy the guy is like a monkey first one he's animalistic uh let's that one last again uh this one hide being inhuman guys he's salivating over torturing he's salivating over killing that's how he's inhuman he seeks pleasure in things that we're not supposed to seek pleasure in this one guys Hyde is inhuman because Hyde is a slave to his his his his his ID there's no morality there's no right or wrong he just does whatever he feels that's that last one now how would you link the fog to hi's behavior being inhuman guys I would use this quote to talk about how Hyde uses or not Hyde Stevenson presents Hyde as a character whose true inhuman nature whose true disgusting nature comes out when he knows nobody is looking when the fog rolls over that's the real hide you think hide is bad in public just wait till you see hide in private and this is a clear example because when the fog settles he kills sadanas Karu now guys what's my point you can link these quotes to lots of different questions easy Jackal and hide is easier why because there's not that very there's not that many variations quotes that talk about Hyde can be used for jaal and quotes that can be used for jaal can be used for Hyde because they are both one and the same now let's end this video by linking these quotes to my predictions what were my predictions I said you may get a question about the duality of man I think I did that already did I do that but let's just do it again um guys duality of man this one you can show how nature is also dual because nature shall represent society and these people are in society and the whole of London is dual there's a good and there's a bad side this one guys is that there's a constant battle there's a constant battle between that good and that bad this one over here guys you can argue that in this one duality of man is presented as evil always winning ape like fury it's fully taken over hi sorry Jackal hasn't got a chance and the last one guys Trum calmly now this one it shows how the duality of man is quite deceptive because on one hand he's trampling but he's doing it calmly so it's as though on one hand you want to come across as being calm and good and nice but on the other hand you want to be evil so it's that constant deception that you're even trying to kid yourself these four quotes can fit lots of different questions now if there's a particular one that you struggle with don't use it you only need two of these in your exam go through this is what I would advise you guys to do out of these four you might say sir you know what I'm going to pick these three pick your three quots that you think can fit lots of different questions out of these four Once you picked your three write out your paragraphs so go through past papers and I just gave you examples you might pick the question how is how is how is a disturbing and threatening atmosphere created in ja HDE that was the question for 2021 so disturbing and threatening atmosphere and you go in there and you plan two paragraphs using the extract and then you go to your pre-planned paragraphs and you might say you know what disturbing and threatening atmosphere I'm going to use the fog the fog is a lovely one because the fog shows us how the whole of London is is is Disturbed is doomed that's my first paragraph pre-planned and then I'm going to use a disturbing and threatening I'm going to do this one it's very very threatening because we're wondering who's going to win is the good guy going to win is the bad guy going to win is the animal going to win or is jaal going to win but do you see guys these four uh paragraphs can fit almost any essay on Jackal and hide use them in your exam exam but between now and Monday write out the paragraphs so when you go into your exam you have an idea as to what you're doing for half of your exam all right guys I hope you found this video beneficial it's been this to everything English peace
