Clash of Clans Town Hall 17 Insights

Town Hall 17 is releasing soon, but there have been numerous leaks by Clash of Clans that I wanted to consolidate and share my thoughts about in this video. Firstly, we've seen a new barracks level. Totally new design, potentially related to the new character we're going to be talking about, but this was leaked on the Clash of Clans YouTube channel at the start of October. It is just one building within the overview of a base, but it stands out massively since it is a different theme. Town Hall 16 is the nature theme, and when we take a look at the barracks, it leans more into a dark theme similar to Town Hall 9. But interestingly, when we look at the roof of the building, there isn't really a clue as to what the new troop will be. Typically, for... all of the previous barracks levels, you could get a glimpse of the new troop from what was on top of the building. So at Town Hall 16, you had the Root of the Rider punching out from the top of the barracks. The level before that, we had the Hand of the Electro Titan, and before that, the Head of the Dragon Rider. This is typically what we see on the barracks building. But for this one, there really isn't much of a clue. Now, this could be a couple of reasons. Either we are not getting a clue with this barracks, but I wouldn't expect that based on all of the previous levels. More than likely, it's just that this is placeholder art. Sometimes things either aren't finished in the developer build, or they just use art from something else as a placeholder. This design is something we've not seen before, so it doesn't seem like it is something else. To me, it's just that it is not finished yet. We can't glean any clues on what the new troop will be from this barracks, but we might be able to later in the video. What this barracks does give away though, is the theme of the Town Hall, or at least a little bit. Especially when you combine that with the Spell Factory, which was also leaked on the Clash of Clans YouTube channel. This one took place right at the end of October. And again, if we zoom right in on the Spell Factory, because it was just there in the overall shot of a village, you can notice that it does have a similar theme. Spikes from the bottom of the Spell Factory. Not too sure if that gives anything away in regards to a new spell, but certainly the theme looks similar to the barracks in that of more of a dark theme. A little bit more scary. Halloween vibes perhaps, but within this same video where we see in the Spell Factory, there was also a different hero altar. When we zoom all of the way in though, this is the Battle Machine altar from the Builder Base. And this is what I was meaning with placeholder art. A lot of speculation has been shared about a fifth hero. I think at this stage, Clash of Clans have All but confirmed it with the amount of information we have on a fifth hero. But in this shot, being the battle machine alter, I think that is more placeholder art. I don't think the new hero is the battle machine from the Builder Base. I think that would be extremely underwhelming and unexciting. But this is what I was meaning with regards to whenever you see things, leaks in these videos, it might not be what you think. So this to me gives us information that we can expect a new hero, but we don't know what that is because the altar is purely placeholder art from the builder base. Interestingly, in this same video, which was a teaser for the new November season, when it cut from the base being fully active to having some buildings destroyed, the eagle artillery in the middle of the base was gone. I guess technically the attacker could have used some lightning spells, but again, it has all but been confirmed. In fact, I would say, based on information we're getting to, that we can be assured the Eagle artillery is merging into the town hall, and that's why it was gone in this clip. Moving along to the Clash of Clans World Championships, though. Yes, we had Stuart, the general manager, tease Hammerjam, but we also had Anders, one of the game programmers, who said they are working on about 17 different things. I just think he plucked that number out of the sky. But he said that what they are working on is truly heroic. So again, if that's not a nod to... towards a new hero, then I don't know what is. But we probably got the most information on Town Hall 17 from the Hammer Jam film, which revealed a new character and the release date of Town Hall 17 right at the end. So let's talk about this new character first. Hammer Jam had a whole podcast leading up to it with the hammer going missing, and they had to... find it, a new character was introduced as a private investigator. So in the video title it was a new character appears, but in the film itself it was introduced as an undisclosed character. This is then something we could expect with Town Hall 17, but the question is what? We couldn't really gleam from the barracks level what the new troop would look like, other than the theme was more dark themed, this certainly would fit that vibe as a dark minion. It certainly looks exactly like a minion, but with the bigger horns on the top of its head, its beard, and big wings, is this another super version of the minion? I don't think they would bring a second version of the minion as a super troop, especially when we don't have all of the other troops as super versions yet. So to me, This is either a new hero or the new troop. It's hard to really say which one this is more likely to be, but I would suspect that this is one of the new units we get with Town Hall 17 because it's not like Clash of Clans to tease something and then not deliver on it either. And that is especially true when we move to the end of the Hammer Jam film, where we got to see the blueprint for Town Hall 17. This essentially confirms that the Eagle artillery will be moving into the town hall. At the top left corner, it says Town Hall 17. We can see the roof design of the town hall. It has spikes on either corner, matching in with what we've seen from the spell factory, and the Eagle artillery prominent on the front of the town hall. This is exactly what we've seen with the Justice scenery as well. So maybe Clash of Clans inserting leaks into the game as well? I did see a lot of people comment with regards to the new character, actually, that perhaps that was already in the Doomed scenery. Right at the top of the village, the statue certainly looks exactly the same when you compare the wings, horns, and beard. So maybe Clash of Clans have already put the new hero or troop into the game ready for us to see. Moving back to the blueprint at the end of the Hammer Jam video though, we can see that the new weapon for the Town Hall is shown from a top-down view. It just says new secret weapon and we can't really gauge what it will do, but it certainly looks like the Eagle Artillery being able to fire those shots up into the air from the Town Hall itself. However, the most notable is to the bottom left of the blueprint, where it says, order ticket, top secret, 11-24, November of 2024. And with Hammer Jam already starting, typically it goes right up until a Town Hall release. We can't expect Town Hall 17 this... month, which I am extremely excited for. And if you are going to be making any purchases for Town Hall 17, remember you can support a creator beforehand by entering their code. My code is judo and it helps to support the channel massively. You can also earn in-game items such as gems by purchasing over on the Supercell store. Clearly, I will bring you all of the information you need for Town Hall 17. Gameplay specific sneak peeks will be on my main channel, but I'll share my thoughts on this one. Let me know what you think about these leaks, but I have popped another video that YouTube recommends from my channel on your screen. Enjoy the rest of your day.
