Introduction to Blackboard
- Blackboard is an online learning platform for San Jacinto College students and faculty.
- Users need to sign in with a username and password.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Setup Instructions
- Download an Authenticator App
- Recommended apps include Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or Authy.
- Link App with Blackboard
- Open the authenticator app and either scan the provided image or manually enter the key provided.
- Activate MFA
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app to associate it with your Blackboard account.
- Blackboard will prompt for this code on unrecognized devices during login.
Completion and Usage
- You will be prompted for the login code every time you log in, especially on new devices.
- MFA enhances security by requiring a code in addition to your password.
