Okay here's the next Intuit interview question that I recommend you prepare for. Can you tell us when you approached a customer with a concern you found with their account or service?
Wow that's a really tricky question and it's being asked to evaluate your problem solving, communication and customer service skills in action. So my top tip when answering any type of behavioral interview question like this, so behavioral questions where you need to draw on your past experience and they often start with can you tell us about a time when or Describe a situation when you face this. So my tip is to use what's called the STAR method to structure your answer.
S-T-A-R-R. And that stands for S for situation. So you start off by describing what was the situation you found yourself in.
You then move on to T for task. What was the task that needed to be carried out? A is for action.
What action did you take to achieve the task? R is for result. What was the end result following your actions? Make sure it's always a positive end result and the final R is reflection. What did you learn from this experience?
So let me now give you a brilliant top scoring answer using that star format to structure our answer to the question. Can you tell us when you approached a customer with a concern you found with their account or service? At my previous role I noticed an error in a customer's account that was leading to overcharges which would affect their satisfaction and trust. My responsibility was to not only address the issue, but also communicate the problem in a way that reassured the customer and retained their trust in our service.
I reached out to the customer promptly, explaining the situation transparently, including the cause of the error and the steps we were taking to resolve it. I offered a clear plan for rectifying the charges and provided them with options to ensure they felt in control of the outcome. The customer appreciated the proactive approach and was satisfied with the solution.
Not only did we retain their business, but they also left positive feedback about our transparency and service. This experience reinforced the importance of clear, honest communication in maintaining trust with customers. OK, the next Intuit style interview question that I recommend you prepare for is what previous experience do you have which is relevant to this position? Now this question is being asked to assess your past roles and how they've prepared you for this new opportunity and to make sure that you can apply your skills effectively within Intuit as a company. So my top tip here is to make sure you tailor your response to emphasize experiences that showcase relevant skills and align those relevant skills with the responsibilities of the job role.
Again that job description is your blueprint for success make sure you study it in depth. before your interview and tailor your answers to match that job description and back it up with evidence of where you've demonstrated those skills and qualities. So here is my brilliant top scoring answer to help you. What previous experience do you have which is relevant to this position?
