  • Africa is the second-largest and second-most populated continent.

Geography of Africa

  • Surrounded by:
    • Mediterranean Sea (North)
    • Suez Canal & Red Sea (Northeast)
    • Indian Ocean (East and Southeast)
    • Atlantic Ocean (West)
  • Spans both North and Southern hemispheres.
  • Hottest continent on Earth with many deserts and drylands.
