Hey guys w News here so today i'm going to be doing My celestia ludenberg analysis and this analysis has been highly requested for quite A While So I'm Really excited about doing this and Let's go ahead and get started so the first thing I want to Touch up on in this analysis has to do with what I mentioned before in my top executions list and that is that cice was Absolutely repulsed by the idea of normalcy She hated the idea of being normal or un special and this is why She created the identity of celestia ludenberg very little is revealed about c's past even in her fre time She mostly tells nigi fictitious Stories about her winning against successful characters in gambling theme manga such as akagi and 81 diver but every once in a while She reveals something that seems to be true regarding her past at first She tells nigi that her father is French nobility and that Her mother is part of a German family of musicians which nigi sees right through as a lie but then She reveals that the place She was born wasia tochigi Japan Which is far more realistic sounding when referring to her life in tochigi She mentioned that she adored the city's famous street Both of these aspects of her Life that she revealed to N seem to be rather realistic and normal She seems to be proud of them as well which this makes me believe that There are some aspects of her Life as ta y Hero that she liked and that Deep down inside She still is that same person regarding her home Life and relationship with her family The Only mention of her parents was the obvious fabrication She told nige It's never revealed as whether or not She rejected her parents or if they rejected her But in another episode it Can Be noted that the person Who is captured by the Ultimate spars for s's first motive in D rle one and was labeled as the being She cared about most was her cat Grand boy sherry ludenberg which implies that she must not have been on great terms with any of her family and even implies that she really doesn't have any Friends as well next I would like to talk about her priorities it seems like She bases It Worth off a very Surface and or monetary value One obvious example of this would Be The Dream that she claim She committed murder for in dle one which was living in a european castle with hundreds of handsome Vampire servants this dream in and of it self seems Absolutely ridiculous to the Point that I even sort of question whether or not This is her Real Dream or If it's just a dream that she presents to the rest of the cast to continue on this character that She's created for herself That's not to say that She doesn't perhaps want this Fantasy that she described but that I believe It's not quite as two dimensional in vain as She makes it seem like I said before many times She hates the idea of being normal or unpal so I believe that she began to fight this sort of normalcy When She learned of her gambling Luck her beliefs on Luck are very similar to beliefs about Talent She believes that every Human at the moment of conception is born with either good or Bad Luck that there's no in between She States to nigi in her free time events that she believed it can overcome any strategy and that she personally was programmed to have good luck when it Comes to gambling and although We never see her gamble In D rle One We do see how She acts during the Killing game and how She acts during the third class trial When She orchestrates a double murder and something interesting that I saw Online was pointed out by the tumbler user kamak in which they stated that she and Both of these situations does not r on Luck whatsoever the way they describe It is that When She realized She had the gambling Luck it more than likely made her feel weak relying so heavily on something She could not control so in order to Combat this she attempted to become skilled at other things that she could use to improve her gambling ability such as lying manipulation etc It's probably a lot less noticeable When She attempts to control situations In gambling since She holds such a high Power Of Luck but they pointed out that in the mutual Killing game She attempted to control the group on several occasions example being the nighttime rle that no one should leave the room After a certain time She even acted very offended as to When people didn't Follow it and even claim that the reason some of the victims died was due to them not following her rule so in this example We can see her obviously attempting to control a situation She didn't really have a part in so has a very bloated yet fragile Ego In My opinion and she tries to convince people and herself that she is better and greater than everyone At least This is the way She acted in the mutual Killing school She may not necessarily believe leave it Deep down inside as ta gess Hero but as celestia ludenberg She is proper Elegant and more cunning than everyone else so in order to protect that character She's created She almost has to convince herself as tycho that she knows more And can control The people around her with the nighttime rule I think She's doing two different things One being that She wants to manipulate the group and control their actions by having them compromise themselves to her rule She States that jahira died because He went against her rule so she could be Trying to implant this into the others minds that break the rule was What killed him The Second thing I think She's doing is Trying to convince herself that she has control Over the situation even Though She really doesn't I'll Touch up on this a bit more later but kamak points out that more than likely cice felt very powerless being associated in the mutual Killing school because of her lack of strength So I believe by saying that the reason that jih Hero died was because he broke the rule could also have been a way for her to try and convince herself that she had control Over the situation so she wouldn't feel as vulnerable during this Killing game so overall in easier term She's trying Toly manipulate the group into thinking that she knows What's best that her ideas rules etc will save them and she's Trying to convince herself as ty of this as well is a Master manipulator and attempting to manipulate herself isn't so far fet She even admits to doing so Moments before being executed as well but This brings up a question Why does she want to control the situation so badly in my opinion I do believe it Can Be traced back to her wanting to be special and thinking of is higher Than everyone else as this character of celestia ludenberg something I noticed in her free time events and in looking back at some of her actions in dle one is that almost Everything She does is to protect this large fragile Ego She's created for herself like I mentioned before She talks down to almost everyone especially in the third trial She fabric Stories to make herself seem more appealing to the others and she even creates ranks for her relationships in this last part I do want to Touch up a bit on as well she reveals to nigi in the free events that She has a habit of Ranking people around her these ranks are f e d c b and a She tells nagi that he moved up from D to C When describing the system She States that D rank is where most people fall and that all these people are ones that she has no interest in f rank is the worst rank that There is and she States that she has a special organization that she pays to kill f ranks just for existing When She tells nigi that He has become a c rank She explains that He has now gained the right to become her Servant or a KN She explains that she has several C rank knights across the world But in all the countries that She's visited She has never come across An A or a b rank now for someone that seems to base all happiness off a very Surface in monetary things it seems rather odd that She would put so much time and effort and thought into Ranking the relationships of people She has around her And Again I believe the fragile Ego and image of celestia ludenberg that she created for herself Comes into play here She Never necessarily describes what type of person would fit as An A or a b rank but I believe that a b rank would more than likely be along the Lines of a best friend and An A rank would probably be a spouse in my opinion You are the most vulnerable when you enter into a relationship with Somebody specifically a Romantic relationship So I believe that would more than likely avoid this at all cost unless She had a ton of hoops for them to jump through which can probably be best represented through this Ranking system that She's created This Is because she does want to protect this Ego and image at all cost If She was to enter even a Friendship with Somebody and they were to Push her away or turn her after She became so vulnerable with them It would destroy her emotionally as tao and She would probably also feel that others Could See celestia ludenberg as being weak Which is the opposite of What She wants so in order to avoid the potential destruction of the celestia ludenberg image trademark and her personal Ego She has created all these different ranks that she has people Go through in order to possibly find someone who qualifies enough to become An A rank and even then she'll probably present it in some sort of very robotic way probably in the same way that she presents the C rank upgrade to N stating that It's a really great offer and she recommends he take it up notice in this she says Absolutely nothing of emotional value It's almost as If It's a business transaction and I think She would do the same exact thing If She was to meet somebody that she found eligible enough to become her Future spouse and of course presenting it this way allows her to protect her image as hiding it under the pretence of it Being Like a job offer so if they reject She can easily act as if it was a decision that didn't affect her and even after offering An A or a b rank position to someone who accepts it I still sort of doubt she will ever truly open up to them Fully unless She felt just extremely comfortable Again Trying to control her environment in order to protect her Ego can also be seen in her gambling tactics something else pointed out by kam was the fact that she referenced all these gambling Mony characters probably symbolizes that she did read about these characters in order to improve her techniques the same way that she tried to become more proficient at lying and manipul She could even read these mangas to try and improve those things I think Ring solely on her Luck given to her at birth would be far too much of a risk to her Ego and that Could possibly Be The Reason She attempts to micromanage and prepare For Everything so much which We can see especially in the third trial like I had mentioned previously kamak sourc that had mentioned that she was not good with physical Combat therefore She was in a powerless position in the mut Killing school unless She could manipulate the other actions to hervor She States that she commits the murder for her european Castle Fantasy but more than likely another reason she did This Is because she felt so powerless in the situation physically and then with the previous two victims going against her rules and no Sign of Anyone else really following her nighttime rule it probably led her to believe that her manipulation tactics weren't working as well so the way in which She could regain power Again would be to Plan out a murder i think her official decision to Plan out a murder was not after monika's monetary motive But when she noticed How vulnerable Yamada and shimaru had become and how the primary source of that that she could use to exploit this was through Al Ego One Thing I could never personally understand was Why She would give Yam so much power in this murder scheme and That is something that com explains in their post about it because when you think about it most of the mistakes in this murder scheme were committed by Yamada An example being that most of the things tried to accuse hag of committing weren't even possible because of How the robos suit was designed you couldn't bend in it you couldn't really get out of it without Somebody helping you it just sort of went again Everything She was accusing him of and this was all yamada's fault essentially but they State that they believe that There were two reasons as to Why cice may have given him so much power in this firstly she might have wanted to prove herself and this is exactly what they wrote in their post about it If she wanted to prove How superior She and her Vampire Dreams were to the socially Enough nerd In his own delusions How Better Than to give him a chance to try and prove himself before backstabbing him so Again it could be related to having to prove her self worth and providing to her Ego but the interesting thing about this idea is that it would Go against to usually tried to protect her Ego by micromanaging Everything The Second thing was that she may have felt genuine empathy for yamana character something else they mention is that she may have actually somewhat Taken interest into yamana because of their shared interest in more obscure manga although It's obvious that he annoys her greatly When performing tasks for her such as getting her Tea It is interesting that she took interest into him in the first place although it could have really just been because he was an easy target to manipulate as well and trial She quite often loses her temper and of course talks down to All the other students as They are unfolding her Plans and basically ting all her lies and of course the fact that she loses it to me does symbolize How fragile her Ego is and how hard She has tried to protect it Over the years the fact that she didn't have a lot of bases for her lies or good covers does sort of show me that she was very Cocky in this plan and was essentially shocked that it wasn't working out and that she was going to be executed personally I believe they could have given ciz a lot better Of A murder and a lot better Of A trial be Honest I really enjoyed c's character but This is probably one of my least favorite trials In The entire Series because It is quite predictable and Pretty obvious Who The Killer is from the start some aspects of it Do reflect your character and how She needs power and control constantly kamur and non even points out that We see her microman into the murder scheme so much to the Point that it makes her look obvious as the perpetrator hell even D bridge parodies how obvious this case is so in my opinion It Was just kind of aggravating that she gave so much power to yada in this and I think it could have to do with her Trying to prove herself but it does seem strange that Everything else points to her having this fragile Ego that she tries so hard to protect and yet She puts so much onto this person That is obviously mentally unstable at the moment because of the whole alter Ego thing and then it essentially ruins her Plan and of course We all know that she did Slip up When She States We're going to die just like those guys died and of course This is an inconsistency with her overall Plan so obviously She would have been found out No Matter What I'm not Trying to say that She would have had the you know absolute most Perfect ever Plan We're all Human but From A development standpoint I really wish they would have made her less obvious especially with giving Y so much power I just don't really understand completely Why she did that still i think kam had a really good Theory but i Guess I just personally would have rather her have Taken it more on herself and created something that was a little bit Harder to figure out So overall I Found this trial a tad but aggravating and I just thoughtd give you guys my opinion of it you can leave your own opinion of it in the comment section as well I just honestly kind of felt like her character deserved better She had such this cool like villainous persona and I was so looking forward to When or If she did anything and then this trial just ended up disappointing me and i already explained My opinions on's execution and why I believe they chose to do it in that way and why it represents her character Arc in a lot of ways to me in my top executions list so if you guys haven't already checked that out I will leave a link in the description to it I still hold the same opinion of that execution that I did in that video so Check it out if you haven't already but that concludes my analysis portion of this video So now I'll be Moving on into the trivia segment as for usual I'll be mostly reading off the wikia page for the trivia it States the name celestia or in its slightly shorter version celest is a given name of Latin origin which means heavenly celest self styled last name ludenberg is most probably a combination of the Latin verb lud meaning to play with the comma suffix For Last names of German origin berg meaning mountain thus making the last name celest came up with for herself consist with her title and her false claim that she is of German ancestry it might also be that celest name is a combination of Eric lendorf or Paul V hindenberg last names SL actual given name tycho roughly means Child blessed with countless blessings making it somewhat fitting foris Who considers her Luck extraordinary and even admits at One Point that her great success as a gambler is partially due to sheer Luck her actual last name yas Hero literally means peaceful and spacious it could also hint at An unfortunate background as another meaning for the character that character right there that I don't know how to say is cheap or low making it quite clear Why celest Who strives to appear as a cultured person and even claims to be The Daughter of a european aristocrat Which is obviously a lie is embarrassed of her last name and avoids revealing it As I mentioned before in her free time events le Does Make references to several Gaming theme mangas That's Pretty much the page says here She references a crazy rich old man and a Silver haired boy with the devil's Luck and That is she is actually referencing a kogi She Won a tournament of shogi against An unusual Maid referencing the manga 81 diver and she claims the most dangerous situation She's ever found herself in was in a Game Of The Liar King In which She played against An unusual pair consisting Of A foolishly Honest girl in a Master con artist rening the manga series Liar game in fitting with her Western masquerade celest Japanese title is written using the Japanese transliteration of the English gambler instead of the Japanese term Shushi but This concludes my analysis on celes ludenberg I hope you guys enjoyed let me know what your opinions
