Overview

• This dashboard provides information on incentives and MW available by sector for each block in the Con Edison region.
• It includes the status of each block, total MW allocated per block, assigned incentives, and the portion still available for applications.
• The status is updated as applications are submitted, and future blocks will be announced as current ones become allocated.

Incentive Programs

Affordable Solar Residential Incentive

• Eligible projects receive an incentive of $0.80/W of nameplate capacity in the Con Edison region.

Parking Canopy and Rooftop Canopy Incentive Adder

• Incentive adder available for new solar parking canopies and rooftop canopy structures:
  • $0.20/W additional for solar parking canopies.
  • $0.20/W additional for the first 25 kW of rooftop canopy projects.

Prevailing Wage Incentive Adder

• For solar projects 1 MWac and greater, developers must pay prevailing wage or enter into project labor agreements.
• Projects post-April 14, 2022, can receive an additional $0.20/W DC for Con Edison Nonresidential projects.

Historic Incentive Rates

Nonresidential Incentive Rates (2014 - 2022)

• Rates ranged from $1.00/W to $0.20/W across different blocks.

Commercial Incentive Rates (2017 - 2018)

• Three blocks with rates from $0.63/W to $0.59/W.

Parking and Rooftop Canopy Adder Rates (Blocks 6-10)

• Rates ranged from $0.30 to $0.20/W.

• Public-private partnership aimed at solar industry growth and affordability in New York.
