What is going on guys, this is John Truth back at you guys with another video. In this video, as you guys can see, I'm going to be teaching you how to live Kodesh or set apart in Yahuwah. 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 16 says, be set apart as I am set apart, right? So we need to be able to live set apart lifestyles, not only for our own well-being, but so that we can stay obedient to the Most High and so that we can be a testimony to others so they can see how we're walking. but this is very vital for your spiritual well-being right here um and uh yeah let's get right into it and uh one obviously keep yahuwah's commandments uh what are those commandments one do not have any other mighty ones uh before yahuwah that's pretty clear so no other gods are for yahuwah i'll give you guys an example i'm here in south africa right now there's a lot of uh quote-unquote christians out here who have mixed Christianity with ancestry, following ancestors.
They pray to them, they ask them for guidance, but they also talk to the most high. This is complete idolatry. This is completely against the first commandment. You're not going to be under Yahuwah's covering if you are doing these things. The only person we need to help us in our journey and in our life is Yahuwah.
That's it. No one else but Him. all right number two do not make graven images do not bow down to them or serve them this is obvious but a lot of christians still fail at this one many christians have crosses up in their house that's a graven image the messiah yahushua did not even die on a cross he died on a stake if you look in the concordance the greek word that was used there was stodos stodos which means an upright stake right or a timber or a tree right so the cross is a graven image um that t you actually represents Tammuz.
But that's for another video. We're not going to get into that right now. But it is idolatry. If you have any carved images in your house, any of those false images of the Messiah, we're not supposed to make any images or bow down to them or serve them.
This is should be obvious, but a lot of people have trouble with this one. Number three, do not bring the name of Yahuwah to vain emptiness or ruin, right? What does that mean?
do not bring the name of yahuwah to vain emptiness well taking his name in vain means bringing it to nothing right which is what the translators have done with all the newer scriptures basically removing his name six seven thousand times they brought it to nothing and then you got a lot of christians too who say oh i don't speak hebrew i don't have to use that name well read your ten commandments please because it never says that we can completely change someone's name to english which By the way, the name Jesus is a Greek name. So we got to get back to using the original names. That is my personal conviction.
Stop taking the name of Yahuwah to vain, emptiness, or ruin. Don't follow the traditions of men. And replacing his name with the Lord is a tradition of men.
Okay. Number four. Remember the Sabbath day and guard it as Kodesh or set apart. This is something that I had to learn as well. I did not used to keep the Sabbath set apart.
But how can you keep the Sabbath set apart? Well, first off, start by keeping the Sabbath. It's a day of rest. It's the seventh day of each week.
You rest. You do not work. You do not labor. You do not buy or sell anything.
You do not cook. If you're going to eat something, you bake it or cook it the day before. Sabbath is from sundown.
On the sixth day until sundown on the seventh day, and it's not on Sunday. That is false. So do a little more research on that. Go and read Exodus chapter 20. You can learn more about how to keep the Sabbath holy. Number five, respect your father and mother.
This is a very important one. This one has been completely lost in today's generations. Do not murder.
Do not break wedlock or commit adultery. This is happening all over the place. People are breaking wedlock, committing adultery. If you are married and you divorce, Yahuwah hates divorce. This is breaking His commandments.
And going and marrying another wife or husband or committing fornication with someone else while you're married, this is adultery. And people need to flee from this. This is wickedness. and adulterers will not inherit the kingdom.
All right. Number eight, do not steal. Number nine, do not bear a false witness against your neighbor. That's a very important one because a lot of people are bearing false witness against each other.
We also should not be slandering people, destroying people's reputation, right? Because we all have a past that we regret, right? Each and every single one of us, right? And we need to see people as Yahusha sees them, right?
And if we've been born again, we are seen by Yahuwah as the righteousness of Yahusha because we are washed clean through his blood. So Yahuwah has grace and mercy on all. He will have grace and mercy on all who come to him, who call upon him. So we can't be bearing false witnesses against people.
This is a big, big sin. Big sin. Number 10, do not covet anything belonging to your neighbor, right?
Covet means to be jealous of, right? So we can't, we can't covet anything belonging to our neighbor, right? Their servant, their wife, their cattle, anything, their house, their car, whatever it is.
Do not covet anything belonging to your neighbor. These are Yahuwah's Ten Commandments. We need to respect, guard these commandments, keep these commandments, preach these commandments.
And yeah, number two, eat scripturally clean. A lot of people think that because the Messiah died on the stake that we now can just eat whatever we want. But Yahuwah gave us the dietary laws to keep us safe and healthy, not to be a controller this is common sense if you go and research these foods especially pork shrimp all these other foods that people like to eat even though they are considered unclean in scripture these foods are filled with parasites and bacteria literally pigs don't even have sweat glands okay they are made to eat and swim and roll in filth okay they are bottom feeders they eat whatever they roll and poop okay this is why yahushua said don't yahushua said do not cast your pearl onto swine right because they're going to treat it horribly but these foods are unclean literally unclean unclean doesn't just mean oh he wants to be a controller he's going to keep these foods away from us no he's keeping us safe these foods are unclean okay you need to be eating foods that are clean red meat right uh Fish that has fins and scales, right? Birds that we are also commanded to eat, right? Like turkeys, chickens, we can eat those.
Lamb, chickens, right? These are the clean foods, as you can see on the right side. Go and read Leviticus chapter 11. You will learn about all the unclean foods.
Here's another one that people love. Shrimp. Shrimp are literally in the same family as cockroaches, right?
So these things actually make your temple unclean. Okay, so stop eating them. Because parasites are kind of like a physical manifestation of a demon. They're demonic, right? They are trying to feed off of you, literally.
They cannot survive without a host, right? So if you're eating these foods, you're going to have parasites living in your body. If you haven't eaten these foods, you need to do a wormwood. cleanse and get that stuff out of your system.
I'll talk about that in another video. But yeah, eat scripturally clean. Number three, stay 100% sober. I don't know why so many people have a hard time with this. But this is this is very, very important.
Okay. I don't understand. First off, alcohol is so bad for you. It is literally so bad for you. There's so many reasons that we should not be drinking.
But first off, 1 Peter chapter 5 and 8, we are commanded to stay sober, right? Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, is as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Right?
So, when we become... intoxicated, we take ourselves out of a sober mind, whether that's through marijuana, alcohol, any other types of drugs, we're opening up our mind to be influenced by the devil, right? And he's going to deceive us, he's going to lead us astray. And you're not even physically safe when you are under the intoxication, or under the influence of drugs and alcohol, right?
Because now we're now we have broken the hedge of protection. um and now yahoo is covering uh is going to be broken because we allowed these unclean spirits to come in through things that we are commanded not to do right um this is why so many people get addicted because the spirit of bondage comes in and and causes them to continue You must break and bind the spirit of bondage from your life in the name of Yahushua. That's the only way.
And go cold turkey from these things, right? Because it's extremely bad for your temple. And look what it says here. Drugs and alcohol are extremely bad for the temple body, right? We know that.
1 Corinthians 3.17 If we destroy the temple of the Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, which we are, Yahuwah will destroy us, right? Go read this chapter, 1 Corinthians 3. Um, so we shouldn't be putting anything in our body that's going to damage it. And people also want to try and justify smoking marijuana. You're literally inhaling smoke into your lungs, right? The part of your body that we are, it was made to praise Yahuwah, right?
Um, there's a scripture that says, let everything that has breath praise Yahuwah. So stop smoking, stop drinking, stop doing drugs because These things are wicked. And this is not the set-apart way.
This is not the straight and narrow path. All right. Number four, avoid worldly people who are not seeking Yahuwah.
Why do I say people who are not seeking Yahuwah? Because there are going to be people who are still a little bit attached to worldly lifestyle, who are babes in the faith, who are just now coming in, who Yahuwah might place them in your life so you can help them, right? So don't avoid people who are struggling, but they are new to the faith. who are still about to start seeking Yahuwah.
There's a difference, right? But people who are worldly and who are not even willing to seek Yahuwah, their heart is still hard, and they are not ready or willing to seek Yahuwah. They want to stay in their way.
Stay away from those people. They're going to drag you down. They're going to basically get you caught up in spiritual warfare. They're going to get you caught up in worldly things. Stay away from worldly people.
This includes family, friends, whatever. Um, yeah. Number five, fast occasionally, right? Math Tithyahu chapter six, verse 16 says, when you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting, right?
He said, when you fast, right? Yahushua didn't say if you fast, he said, when you fast, right? So that means all believers are commanded to fast, right?
Fasting doesn't just starve your body of food. okay that's not the intention right but what fasting does is it gets us to seek yahuwah because we're going to become weak in the flesh now we have to look to yahuwah right man shall not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds out the mouth of yahuwah right so not only that but fasting actually is extremely good for the body right it's going to clear out the body of food and waste and bad cells, right? So this is extremely important.
We need to be fasting in case you can start with a one day water fast, 24 hours, work your way up to two days and then three days, right? And then if you want to do more than that, you can, but three days is a really good fast right there. So we should be doing that, in my opinion, like once a month.
All right. Number six, read scripture daily, right? Yashi, Yahoo, or excuse me. uh matthew yahoo chapter 4 verse 4 yahushua said man shall not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds out the mouth of alahim or god right so we need to be reading scripture when we wake up it's going to feed our spirit right it's going to feed our spirit and if we're only eating spiritually once a week our spirit is going to starve right so we need to be reading scripture daily even if it's just a few chapters you need to get in that word as often as possible at least once per day all right um that is the set apart way number seven pray for yah's will to be done not your own right the yahoo prayer goes our father who are in heaven hallowed be your name thy kingdom come thy will be done right thy will be done because our will is imperfect only yahoo's will is perfect okay Um, so we need to pray that his will is done in our life, not our own will, because our own will is not going to, to go right. It's not going to go well for us. Um, if, if, if I was following my own will right now, I wouldn't, I would not be living for Yahuwah.
Okay. Um, because my flesh wants to do things that are contrary to the will of Yahuwah, right? All of us, right? So we need to submit to Yahuwah's will. And we need to pray that He puts His will in our hearts.
And that is what we need to do. That is what we need to do. We should all want to have Yahuwah's will done in our life. not our own okay so that is a very important one i pray that all the time you should actually be praying this yahoo prayer right when you wake up our father who art in heaven hallowed be your name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom the power and the esteem forever and ever i mean Amin means so be it in ancient Hebrew.
All right. Number eight, don't be ashamed of Yahushua's words or of speaking truth. Okay. In Luke chapter nine, verse 26, Yahushua said, if anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the son of man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the esteem of the father and of the Kodesh messengers.
Okay. So look at that right there. We should not be ashamed of Yahusha's words or of him. We should be preaching him wherever we go. The set apart lifestyle is not just at home.
The set apart lifestyle is wherever you go, you should be talking about Yahusha. You should be talking about his commandments. He said, if you love me, you keep my commandments.
You guard my commandments. So this isn't just something you can just keep at home. This is something you need to take everywhere with you. Okay.
That is the true set up our way. Yahushua wasn't just, you know, preaching in an assembly. He was preaching everywhere he went. Everywhere he went. He was speaking to the crowds.
Okay. Number nine. Avoid fornication. Coronography. I can't say that word because they might silence it.
And masturbation. Alright. uh fornicators and adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of yahoo of first corinthians chapter six and verse nine uh masturbation will get you stuck walking in the flesh it will drain your energy and it will open doorways to demonic strongholds okay um and this is a fact this is a fact uh so many people are caught up in this and um you are going to put your salvation on the line and you are going to drain yourself And you are going to get yourself caught in demonic strongholds, right? People, when you're doing this, you're going to have demonic attacks in your sleep, right?
Sexual dreams. You might have sleep paralysis, you know, and your mind is going to be corrupted, right? This stuff gets you to look at women or men, whichever, if you're a male or female, you're going to look at people in a sexual way. And this is wrong. Yahushua said, if you even look at a woman with lust, you commit adultery with her in your heart.
Okay. For the men, for the brothers out there, even if you're married, you should be practicing semen retention. You shouldn't be releasing your seed all the time because it's going to drain you. It's going to get you stuck in the flesh. For the brothers who are not married, you shouldn't be releasing your seed whatsoever at all, at all.
Because if you truly want to become set apart, you need to stop walking in the flesh. Okay. And for the ladies out there too, I know there's ladies that struggle with this as well.
You need to stop. You need to stop doing this, okay? Number 10, put Yahuwah first in everything.
Give Him the praise and credit in everything you do, okay? So we need to understand that everything that we have comes from Yahuwah. None of it is of our own. We cannot take credit for it.
We cannot boast in it because Yahuwah provides for us. He gives us everything we need in our timing, right? So we need to put Yahuwah first.
in everything we do, right? Pray His will be done. And whenever we receive anything or whenever we accomplish anything, even if that means you made it home safe, even if that means you were able to get groceries, right?
You give Him the praise and the credit for that because He's the one providing for us at the end of the day. There are people in other countries. I'm here in Africa right now.
I see many people who are poor. Many people who can't even afford to eat the way they want to eat, right? So we need to be extremely grateful.
We need to praise Yahuwah for everything he has given us, right? And that is how you live, Kodesh and Yahuwah, everyone. 1 Peter 1.16, be set apart as I am set apart. And if you guys want a part two on this series, please let me know.
