place to contact the hotel which i did and i was able to send an email and ask them if it was possible to like get an exclusive like day to like go to this hotel and see what it was all about and i was able to find out why this is closed and it's not due to the virus it's actually because the last people that were booking this hotel was hospitalized due to paranormal activity hospitalized hospitalized they had to shut this place down and now nobody as of september 2020 no one is able to book any rooms in this hotel but they are letting us stay there for one night one night one night we have this whole place to ourselves the entire hotel nobody else is able to book this and if we are able to get everyone on board i would be very down to try this out i mean that sounds amazing a whole terrifying it's not fun uh it's again terrifying it's one thing to just see a ghost feel a ghost but to like even to just hear ghosts it's like not a big deal but a banshee is like i can't even imagine getting scared in your own head why not no one else could hear it it's only one person could hear it and it means something bad is gonna happen so yeah it goes into the history of the hotel which we're gonna get into first this hotel has a long history that dates back all the way to the 1920s nestled in the foothills of mount royal park is a small town in montreal within the quiet streets it holds a treasure for both the weary traveler and the paranormal enthusiast the haunted banshee hotel why why is it like called that it's weird to think that they just like name it do you think they renamed it after like it might have been like just a regular hotel and then yeah cause you don't just make a hotel and like oh this hotel is paranormal yeah yeah i think it like over time something happens and then it's called and then they're like you know what i'm gonna use this as a marketing strat i'm gonna make sure people know that this is haunted and people can come and see this stuff the historic bed and breakfast has boasted several famous guests as well as a few guests that have never left and still linger in the corridors waiting to greet newcomers looking for a reason to believe wow that's cool okay really really cool interesting what are they what are they talking about when they say them never left uh we will find out yep in 1930 the kitchen park came out nearly half of the hotel as well as a few unexpected guests a few years later the hotel reopened for business and guests slowly started to report weird activity inside the rooms as well as in the halls a girl named sarah who perished in the fire is known to still be lurking in the halls of the hotel sarah along with many other spirits living in the halls welcomes any skeptic to book a night with us if they have the courage disclaimer all guests must first sign the waiver before booking with us a waiver an actual waiver you need to sign your name off you know this reminds me of the shanley hotel yeah that's so you know it's gonna be legit yeah the amount of crazy things that happened at the shanley hotel i can't imagine what we'd experience and we went to this one especially a hotel called the banshee hotel um we had a problem it says update as of september 2020 the hotel will be closed until further notice we apologize for the inconvenience that's also what i said but i contacted the hotel i emailed them and i started asking questions about the hotel and apparently the hotel is currently closed because the last guests that went there were hospitalized because of paranormal activity so they shut it in hospital and it's been like four years they have to be rushed to the hospital so how many months ago was that this was three months like two or three months ago do we know like the outcome of that are they okay i i think they're okay i think she would have said that they actually okay so we were leading out of something but um so that's why it's closed but i was like is there any way that we can get access to this hotel and i like show you the youtube channel like i'm really into the paranormal stuff and i'd be willing to go here for a night if if we could and she said yes so she's letting us stay there one night only one night if we sign the waivers everyone has to sign the waiver we stay there one night and we get the whole hotel to ourselves the whole thing that giant building there's no employees no guests the entire building just us anything we like see or hear we'll know it's like not exactly i think that's crazy because stanley hotel there was those people who were like showing us around but this is like a fully fresh like we don't know anything but that isn't the end there is a whole section out of you notice at the top yeah ghost story stories oh oh these are probably just reports of people before the hotel closed down it's like testimonials you know most people yes places like oh they did a fantastic job serving me they had a phenomenal food it was a five-star bed but here is just ghost little ghost i heard him the ghost threw me down the stairs and i broke my neck and i was rushed and i was rushed to the hospital the fires that took out half the hotel is said to be the cause of all the paranormal activity within the hotel this is why one of the most haunted rooms in the actual hotel is the kitchen multiple river kitchen staff have reported strange activities such as screens that have no source as well as objects that have been thrown around the room and in the kitchen that's like pots yeah yeah knives knives our overnight staff have gone to the kitchen due to strange noises and have found some of the burners on and dishes thrown on the floor i can't imagine the reason why the place burned off in the first place right but this is the fire is what it's saying the fire is what caused the paranormal activity so like there was a kitchen fire that was probably well that's it was yeah somebody left the burner on yeah burnt the whole place up and now and that's what happens the most active ghost in the hotel is a girl named sarah she is seen walking in the halls in the middle of the night and is described as a girl in a white dress she can be seen in the hallways as well as inside her room next to her bed where she died guests who have stayed overnight in her room have reported their bed moving as well as loud screams of a dying woman [Music] others have reported strange whispers coming from inside the room even though no one had the room reserved in the other sections of the hotel the most common report of paranormal activity are the violent screams from the banshees i if i hear any benches i'm gone you better believe it right i can't imagine what that even sounds like no that's i mean i can what could you you can't tell us how it will make sense like like a blood curdling screamed it's not like an animal kind of like an animal it's kind of like screaming and nails on a chalkboard kind of like it's
