[Music] today is the 99th day since the Revenant was released so players who started on that day doing double PS they will unlock the ship well probably beforehand because there's some other shards that were thrown out there so that's why we've been seeing a lot of new revenant out in the Galaxy because they have just gotten theirs unlocked mine just a couple days ago yep exactly I think that I don't I'm pretty sure there was like a a mission during that first month that awarded like five BPS which put people it was a choice Mission you could either choose the ship or the officer yeah so welcome in recap so we're going to go really quickly for this first eight slides and this is the loop explainers that we built uh based on some of our play test early on so Loop overview very simply it is a scrapping ship so go ahead go to the next one it is a Scrapy ship you build the ship you do armadas with it you may also hit some of the hostiles out of those armadas you're going to get research resources materials and be able to upgrade the ship you then scrap it to evolve it and then continue on uh what are the major hostiles that we'll be hitting well that the grind is essentially doing a mix of solo armadas and a mix of group armadas there are some different strategies that we will talk through and that gives you the loot you need to get all of the things uh again moving forward the evolutions how it works is once you have taken your first ship after you've built it to tier five and at least level 21 you'll be able to scrap it that gives you a whole scan token that allows you to rebuild the ship gives you an evolution gift which will also Grant you the next Mark in or the next evolution so to say and also will unlock Future acquisition future Pathways to con continue building that ship uh so uh as we move forward it also increases Parts efficiency so to get back to where you were this is the new thing that wasn't there for Stella is you actually get efficiencies every single time that you evolve so it's it's not going to take too long to get back to where you were with those efficiencies in fact we will talk about this a little bit later it probably only take you one or two days once you reach tier five scrap it you can get back to tier five within one or two days same thing with tier 10 so very easy um there's a part efficiency that kind of helps you kind of get through that it is locked and there's where the oplocks are to get to Mark I you can actually be G4 but you can't get past that we'll kind of talk about that a little bit later uh some of the other benefits of the ship this is something that I always promote uh it is what is the ship going to do for me outside of its loot well really it's a resource and materials generator that's really what it is it has a enormous amount of resources an enormous amount of materials in the long term it also will enhance your chaos Tech Shard sourcing for those four specific chaos Tech enhances it by four times so that is great in order to kind of try to Source those faster another thing that it provides you some other non-loop Buffs are through its research tree now uh you initially when you build the ship you'll get 900 ionized Nexus particles essentially what that does is it unlocks the first level of nine of these so don't spend them all one place try to you know actually unlock them all first and then you'll get a lot more it transfers the cost to something else okay you'll get a lot more later on for last levels of researches as well but there's a lot of good Loop benefits in here research cost efficiency ship cost efficiency uh protomatter Nova Squadron artifact Gallery uh and obviously boosting your the chaos Tech bundle so um these are some good things that you'll see here and the next slide shows you where those first 900 ionized particles go to okay we are ready to jump in to day one so day one one sourcing you're going to build the ship and I don't know about you guys but before I had the ship keeping up with the tech modules was kind of a pain in the butt but the ship even at tier one level five has a 500% loot bonus now probably can't hit the same hostiles that you were hitting before with your bigger ships but even as you get to tier two tier three you're getting such a huge Lo bonus that even if you hit down you're going to be gaining so much you're going to fill your cargo up you're going to have plenty of of this Tech modules that you can completely forget about hitting the hostiles it will not take long before that Loop is done for you this is a loop Ender and it accelerates it so much that you don't have to care about doing the hostiles it's not on every day it's not in every week it's every other month sort of thing um I think you may have to skip through a couple of slides here yeah so now going on to the actual Loop so our model Loop what we're talking about here is what these armadas are how they evolve over time because they actually have different types even though the levels um are similar so in your let's just talk about solaras real quick the 0 3.0 so the 3.0 this is the easiest ones because they have no extra ship abilities they have tremendous Whole Health compared to other types of armadas but they don't have any extra ship abilities so they're not going to kill your ship faster they also have low average base and starter chest so A50 3.0 is actually going to be weaker than a 44 3.1 so even though you're going down in level you may go up in difficulty and you'll also go up in loot uh 3.1 they add Apex bear which basically means that you have to add more shots onto that will Apex shred work anybody any of the panel uh well we don't have anything that will work against them yet but exactly one day yeah matters has it the only Apex that we have Apex sh that we have in the game is against hostiles or players we do not have anything that works against armadas so right now the Apex barrier is still a barrier for you to be able to kill those things once you get up to the uh 3. tws you also get a 400% shots increase which is essentially amplifies their DPR they already have so you're going to have a much harder time against those uh same thing with the group armadas U this one's a little bit different with how the loot distribution are so there's certain Milestones that we're going to want to hit as we go through how the loot works if you can go to the next Slide the solo loot table so the there is a research that you need to upgrade as you tear up the ship it will be locked to the tier of your ship and that gives you a massive bonus in Loot and this is just the base loot so starter chest does not get increased at all but the base Loop we can actually increase so I've built a loop table here that shows you the base times a research bonus and you add on a starter chest uh so say we're tier one tier to tier one to tier four really is where we're going to be sitting when we're still without a mark one essentially and uh very down on the bottom of this chart we can see what the base bundle costs are for each of those so at tier one I need to get 12,000 of this loot to hit a double chest on my solo loot that means that I basically need to hit a 46 1.1 now that may be a little bit Out Of Reach uh in order to do that actually that's that's not correct you actually have to hit a 44 1.1 because this is per Armada and you actually get technically get two armadas per day so hit at 44 1.1 that may be a little bit out of my reach for a naked tier one but soon as you add some parts on you'll be able to punch up and hopefully hit those those 44 1. ons that will allow you to get those double chest and that is going to increase the progression here as well uh we'll we'll we'll kind of dive more into luch chest as we get into the different marks but just as Mark one that's kind of what you're looking at here and as you're able to hit the 46 uh 1.1 on it just becomes a lot easier to double pull uh so back to the group loot table so the next slide JS so group loot table now this is kind of where I see contention between players because every Alliance is going to have a different strategy here um based on where people are in the Revenant growth in the alliance there are some alliances where you may be the player who has several players around you that have similar tier Revenant so running groups together you guys are going to all be able to hit the same a little bit higher of a Target together you be share that loot uh equally you could have a a whale in your alliance or just a player who bought the ship day one and is now Mark three even if they're not a whale but they're you know an early adopter they'll be able to uh anchor a much higher armata for you meaning that you can use the starter chest to just absolutely give Banks and banks of materials that you don't have to worry about what number chest you're pulling you're just pulling the max for as long as you can um or conversely you may also be the biggest player in your Armada who just unlocked the Revenant and uh has to carry everybody else and that's going to be a harder task for you to kind of figure out where you're going to be uh okay so let's talk through mark one solo strategy in some detail so mark one solo strategy first off you're in a Revenant and your base you have a damage boost against your targets but you don't have anything else you don't have the extra shots you don't have the extra Apex barriers so what are some Crews that work I put some Crews on here that include some shot increase officers some other good just general Crews I'd like to hear from the panel if there's other Crews that are not listed here that you guys want to throw out as options the cruise that I use um I and honestly I can't remember right off I've got them in a bookmark I'll show you uh what I use and I'll I'll read them out for the podcast audience um so for my Revenant I've got uh two presets saved in here because um oh wait no Revenant yeah yeah yeah yeah so I actually you know what I've actually changed over I can remember now I'm using uh depends on what I'm trying to hit I either use a day Josh crew for loot uh depending or I'm going to go all out with a chakote um chakote doctor and DeMarco let's see how that lines up with what uh what you've got over here yeah there you go chakote yeah I've got doctor in here and a DeMarco instead you've got Day Josh with Miles and DeMarco so there's some good variations here um I I would so yeah there's a lot of damage there's a lot of damage boost that you're getting out of this so things that are going to help are going to be increasing your shots increasing your critical increasing your isolytic uh and that's what you've you've done with that crew the loot crew that you shoot you showed I would not do that because it's going to be immediately nullified by how much base extra loot bonus you're getting from that research crw aren't great particularly if it means you have to punch down in order to use loot grw it's always GNA be better to be able to punch up without a loot grw yeah you're exactly right and that's what I was thinking when I I looked at that the day Josh won uh cuz see I don't use two ships anymore now I'm sending the Revenant solo um and that's I mean that's the only ship that I send so yeah I'm using the uh the chot crew now revenue's always been solo it's the kenams that are two ships yeah well see that this is exactly yeah they it's so confusing they released so many armadas right up front so yeah that's this is why I had I had mentioned I had two presets yeah the the Revenant is the only ship that goes and I've been using the chakote crew especially now that I unlocked Dem Marco uh it has made a huge difference for me so with the deos crew as long as you're also supporting that with Vil and Paris under deck then I've feel it's a pretty strong setup yeah great so some other suggestions to do to kind of amplify your power using citos or Max fortify or defiant those are also useful um I personally would steer away from forbidden Tech or KS Tech particularly in Mark 1 because when you scrap you lose essentially what you had to spend to equip those um forbidden Tech or or chaos Tech you lose those Fusion rods yeah you're using and you have to re unlock the slot when you rebuild the ship it does not stay unlocked uh the don't things Lura fist damage exos they do nothing so so those are some of the things that are don't okay now let's talk about group strategy and I think this is where we'll have converging there's a lot of agreement on how you should approach solos but there's a not a lot of agreement on Mark one group strategy one of so here's a couple of different Alliance Dynamics uh I would love to hear everyone's opinion of where their Alliance is but I know in my group uh I am the strongest in my group I have the strongest Revenant in my group so for me the actual groups that I can hit it's like okay what's the biggest one that I can anchor uh for me now I will point out particularly for Mark 1 and particularly for groups that don't have a lot of strong Revenant there is a couple of cliffs to hit 46 1.1 is Miles Ahead on loot than a 44 1.1 and below so it is a big jump that means it is a goal to try to get to um in order to kind of have MCH massive bump in your star chest there's a smaller bump when you get to 52 1.1 and then the next big bump is actually 56 1.2 so those are the big bumps in the actual loot both in the base Loot and in the starter chest so those are some areas to kind of like hey I I want to hit there I don't want to like keep sticking back at 44 1.1 unboosted let's boost and let's get up there and we'll a get paid for it uh so I'm curious what what are the panel what do you guys think what is your alliance Dynamic and and how should a mark one in your alliance uh proceed so am in the middle to top of that where I have a teammate who has a e13 Revenant right now and so he's with a Max Fort or not even Max Fort anchoring 68 so we send whatever can get there well it well ta yep I love it s is awesome so I while I while I completely acknowledge and understand that that riding whale tail can definitely be a way you guys play it it's not the strategy of of how you should be doing this like what assuming that you've got players that are around your power level or around your tier level um you know you've gotten here ride the whale taale that's always going to be a thing right like just you you can do that if you've got big players you can do that but the better question what's the loot versus chest question yeah the better question should be what does it take or where can you go to do something like this if if as Jules mentions you're one of the strongest uh in your in your alliance you've got to kind of look and and just see I'll tell you the 1. ons early on kin they kind of whipped us when we were all using tier one Revenant the uh the 1.1 armadas were not simple we probably were able to do a 44 or 46 that's about it if we tried to punch up they kind of hurt yeah they did I mean I remember dying on a 50 and I was just blown away by it um so you know on a 50 1.1 now you could do a 50 1. but definitely the goal I think is to get to 1.1 pretty much right away and and even if you were able to do a 44 1.1 it's paying better than a 50 1.0 but that is going to require multiple Revenant the the other thing that is important to point out here Jules and I remember us talking about this early on is there there is so much damage that happens like even within our own Alliance car and I've had to literally scold and yell at people who show up in other ships this is a Revenant only mechanic and because the Revenant doesn't have at the lower tiers doesn't have gargantuan amounts of power you show up even in an augur or in a in a you know another warship that's got some power Edge on it you're you're killing the loot that's from base so even though the starter chest and the bonus chest are the ones that really really matter you don't want to give up Loot and those other ships are doing nothing those other ships are doing absolutely nothing when it comes to damage because of the Revenant damage boost against these things so these other ships are just taking up a spot in my bonus chest there's one caveat in which if if a player has the Sloan skill for close counter surveillance and they have a ship that can cloak they can reduce the piercing of the Armada Target against everybody down to the bare minimum so there is a benefit for one ship that's clothed with that skill maxed that could work out for some players so if we're riding whail well one of the things with the Revenant is that it's probably going to have a very low warp range so how are you going to get to these super high armadas and start though it may be using your big ship your other your faction ship your your CU whatever can get you up to or even the nxo one whatever it can get you up there to start that may be worth it for you um I will warn people that the eviscerator can open a rift but we got to remember the oplocks of the eviscerator rift so if you are a G4 player you can't get past the 50s right so 51.1 is the highest you can get ripped up to if you're a G5 player you can go all the way up to 61.2 get 2.1 million in the starter chest and boom like you're you're golden all the way through Mark I so there there is an advantage to being able to go up there and that that is with or without having the Revenant as part of the team if you've got a whale tail big enough they can do it without your ship uh puts points to a good a couple of good ideas um using a tank crew essentially or using a boost so if you are the starter doing a Spock down bug sort of thing like doing a peard Bev and umco yeah is that still thing yeah the card Bev Demarco is wicked just to kind of yeah it's a big solos it it it trickles down the Boost you get from Bard Bev it does not trickle down the tier so if you have a tier one and your teammate has a tier five you're still giving of a 2.2 times boost you're not actually tanking their Gwen DeMarco so you're giving their Gwen a 2.2% or a 2.2 multiplier even on their tier five even if you're DeMarco's tier one yeah so uh it trickles down the Boost does not trickle down the stat of the actual officer itself yeah that's big is it better to boost the damage of the iso or to boost um miles as multi-shot for consistency miles is lazy bro miles is lazy but we'll talk about this later but after you hit Mark 2 miles is useless so we do not boost miles if your whale is above Mark I it would be better to boost I don't know a mitigation officer even than to boost miles so let's uh move on down the road you are mark one you've gotten to tier five and you're like great I want to upgrade further I want to scrap for Mark I but wait and this advice is really more pointed towards the G4 players because here's the deal you can absolutely scrap you can absolutely unlock that Mark I uh refit and you can absolutely get higher cost of chest but guess what you can't do can't upgrade your ship any further because it is the rare parts that you will not get because you're a G4 player so until you are Ops 51 you can't get the rare parts to upgrade any of the components you'll be stuck at a naked tier five uh why does that matter well if you get up to a tier five and you've unlocked that refit you actually open up a new Refinery that includes higher costs so your solos go up from if you're doing double chest 56,000 to 900,000 as a massive jump your groups will go up quite a bit as well so if you're already kind of at where your alliance is at and you're not punching up in solos a lot and your G4 well you're now just going to take a massive decrease in some of the base resources if you cannot punch up that high and possibly also you won't get as many fabricator chips which means less material so there's a warning here for G4 players however so let's continue going on what do you need to do to maintain the polls that I've just shown uh I built a little calculator kind of shows what the target Armada needs to be if you were at tier five naked well you only have to hit the 46 3.1 and the 46 1.1 to maintain your pulls but if you go if you add that refit will they get at the 54 3.2 solos which may be way out of your reach that is Way Out Of Reach for Mark I throwing it out there exactly but you know when we talk about the grp group you have to 52 1. ons this may be completely irrelevant if you're riding whale tail right or if your team is good enough that you guys can punch up IO so maybe the group is not part of your Calculus maybe it's just the solo okay what is a reason that you would still go up so next screen is the evolution gift bundle now here is a small trick that quirky zombie put took us on to in the evolution gift chest that you will unlock this key upon scrapping again at tier five level 21 or to 25 you have to level it before you scrap it you get to unlock this Evolution gift now in this Evolution gift it gives you the actual uh token to all of the shards that you need to unlock the refit it doesn't unlock the refit automatically so you don't actually need to deal with those higher refiner costs if you're G4 player uh it also grants a great deal of resources four star and dun dun dun five star you can unlock at Ops 42 you can get over 143,000 fstar uncommon materials everyone silent I was only silent because I was still calculating how much latinum that would be that I ended up spending because when I went to G5 I spent a crap ton of L lat latinum on the the common yep half in common and you can do this as a G4 I mean you guys remember how many when we were scrapping G4 ships and jellies and we're trying to get all those primes that had that cost G G5 uncommon or G5 rare well here's your source so this could be really big one of the things that you won't get if you do not unlock your your uh refit and actually um get the mark 2 refit unlocked means that you won't get the efficiency boost which means getting back to tier five will take just as long as it did before a little bit faster because you're getting more payout but it will still take a long time to get back to tier five so it may be worth baking up directives banking up loot banking up some of those chips um if you're going to pull the trigger and get these amazing 11 uh Evolution gifts especially as an early G4 player okay some of these things moved around a little bit that got moved around I don't know if that was me I don't think that was me let's just skip that for now maybe we'll come back yeah okay so mark 2 now that you have unlocked Mark 2 you're probably a G5 player uh which means that you can start adding parts to this one of the things that you also get a as well as the effic the parts efficiency bonus is and an increase in shots how this works is it adds 10 shots to each of your weapons so weapon one it adds 10 so you're up to 14 12 12 14 what doesn't work is that the shot increase officers and Max fortify do not boost that number 10 number they only boost the base that is four so even with the max amount of off um you know double shot officers you may only see an increase in maybe a net increase of double the shots that's not that's still good but it's not as good as focusing more on isolytic focusing more on some other things as you start moving up so that is why we basically say hey shot Crews aren't great because now you're taking up a bunch especially when you have lazy miles you're taking up a bunch of of bridge abilities that could be used for other things that could be more effective so we find in Mark I that beard Bev and Gwen are a great crew you do not have Gwen yet you can put Jane way in that slot there's other variations that include Chan way potentially with seven of nine to boost your critical damage uh and DeMarco on the side so there's a few different Crews there does does anyone have any other Mark 2 Crews they wanted to kind of throw out what would you do if you don't have Demarco Jane way is a replacement for Marco in this spot yeah yeah once you hit with those shots you you can't beat the boosted istic opposite like it's the meta indeed okay now the goal for Mark 2 solos this is a I don't know coding error that they have never reverted so let's talk about what's actually happened at uh at 60 the 63.2 something happened where they dropped the DPR down real low and even with the 400% shot increase it is less than the three armadas below it so 54 56 58 all have higher action or 3.1 I'm talking about 3. tws ignore the 31s we should all be working towards 3. tws at this point in the mark 2 game the goal is the 60 and here's why here's why the goal is the 60 is because the DPR is so low and the piercing stats don't get insane until 62 so it is a sweet spot it is a sweet spot of being able to punch up really high and get so much loot that you are going to sail through your solo game I literally going to go try this right now I I did not know that I have not been hitting the 63.2 now I can hit 60 31s easily without boost and do four or five so I should be able to hit a 3.2 then right with a you still have an actual DPR that's about half of what you're getting now is the same piercing and a very similar hole so in theory if you are getting barely any hole damage you should do pretty well well I would add a citos boost just for safety and so here's the thing here's the thing at at tier five with a couple of components no you're you're not going to be able to hit the 63. tws unless you have a very Advanced account but it is a it is a goal to get to right um working your way up the 31s until you feel comfortable to try the 60 add your max fortify ask your defiant add your ceritos get the best crew on there uh and give it a shot the level 60 3. tws is your goal as a mark 2 Revenue owner tier nine no boost yep that is it should be relatively easy Voltron uh great tier eight yeah I think my first attempt was like tier seven but required everything uh which is not very sustainable if you have to use all your boosts for each Armada and you have to do 14 of them but just that one gave me the star chest and the base loot that fed me enough to give me Triple or double pulls for quite a while let's go up to our Mark 2 group strategy so how do you guys feel at this point so if you're a mark 2 player uh you're if for our freeo play who are just acquiring it now it'll probably about two months before you're deep into the Mark I uh about a month through to get to Mark I itself and then another month or two to kind of get through that what do you guys are how you guys are feeling about your groups what are you trying to uh hit where are you hitting if you're equal to your other uh members in your alliance I wasn't listen Mar one so I'm assuming that question isn't for me I sorry I was actually deploying a ship I actually just started an armada I'm going to log in uh and let you guys watch this real quick and just see just see how this goes uh so I did the citos Boost I'm doing bicard Bev DeMarco all right and uh for those of you in the podcast audience sorry I'm actually doing something on screen here for just a second but I thought you know I I haven't actually tried to do this yet so uh it's got about 50,000 base loot uh and the starter chest is going to be something like 200,000 right uh no one 1.5 million 1.5 million holy smokes which is your double pull in one Armada I am tier seven about halfway through tier seven so you should get about 3.2 million combined your base and your starter chest which would feed your double PS for three days it killed it now I only got one I I only got enough for one uh because it took 80% of my hole but I did in fact beat that and if we come and take a look at the loot that came from the base itself 1.6 million and then the mega chest an additional 1.5 that's 3.1 million off of one which is insane did not didn't know that was a thing I didn't lose shush your mouth Savage Darkness so yeah very interesting now for those of you who are are asking I am at a tier s uh on the Revenant I've got a most of the weapons and I think the shield and Hull um I had to to disco in because I don't have the warp range and I did do a ceritos boost I did nothing else no other exos no other boost no nothing like that and I was able to get one of those and I've got four below deck slots and uh with those obviously I used Vel uh Harry Kim bana Torres and uh Danna Troy is what uh is what I use there with the four slots so uh nice Jules didn't know about that d g it that's awesome a question about um DJ you said you had to disco in and you have one or more levels of the Prime what is the warp range on that and what tier of uh ship do you need to get to that system to get to this system um it will require warp range 700 now at my Ops you know with all the other warp range research and so forth that I have even the tier 7 Revenant is warp 671 all right so if honestly here at tier 7 I probably if I had done the warp range component I probably would be there we'll take quick peek at it and make sure but yeah if I just for G6 players though because of the the research yeah you got War range research so tier eight putting on uh Mark n component plus grush plus all of your other War Branch tools you have a chance at that um as without the research uh likely with the research G5 players can get there at tier eight yeah and I've got I did not run any forbidden Tech or chaos Tech worth anything as a matter of fact the chaos Tech does nothing because it was non- Armada and I've got no forbidden Tech on this thing so there you go the eviscerator even in G5 land will get you to 700 warp as well So eventually you'll be able to rip um once you get your eviscerator up to that point okay should we move on yeah I keep this thing tight I keep it tight all right let's move past uh we kind of talked a little bit about group strategy we're talking about Mark one mark two it's basically the same what are you hitting how high can you hit is really going to be based on your team Mark 3 do you scrap for Mark II G5 wait same thing applies here if you go and you're at tier 10 no components you go up to tier 10 with the Mark II your uh chest costs become insane just absolutely insane a single chest you go from being able to do a double chest for 1.7 million single chest now costs 6.7 million and the group trests also get crazy high I kind of mathed out a little bit if you had to drop down to one solo which is definitely going to happen and you have to drop down to two groups which is rare that you're going to be able to even do that unless you're riding whale taale you will see a loss in every single field you will not be making any resources any materials uh it's going to be pretty rough on you if you unlock that actual refit and you do not have the ability to punch up and get loot you're going to basically sit there without ging anything especially if you're G5 you're not actually making the Epic ship parts to progress your ship further so for G5 I would not suggest evolving to tier uh to tier 10 with a mark three now uh if you go down again next slide you'll basically see that there is no way even with the solo Loop Prime to consistently and I'll I'll get to this to consistently do your double chess there is no amount of big enough the 70s aren't big enough for you to be able to uh consistently do double chess and I know that we'll talk about how many you can actually get done based on what you can hit but this is something to look out for uh and you go to the next slide I basically have pulled out that solo loot chest uh to show you where this lines up at tier 10 you can look straight down that tier 10 line uh you can see what loot you'd actually get by hitting what level of ourada and then very bottom there you can see the Mark I cost 6.7 million for one chest 33 million for two chest whereas if you did not add that refit at tier 10 it's 600,000 for one chest and 1.7 million so over a 10x increase just insane and it's not going to get better in Solo loot for the rest of your time as a Mark II so even as a G6 player if you're not if you don't you don't have an advanced account or you haven't been focusing on your Amada research and and your officers that going to help you here and you don't want to use boost you can't hit high enough order to get loot you may even miss out on the single chest poles I don't think that's going to be the case for a lot of players I think a lot of players who are G6 and can start progressing their ships and adding components to their uh Mark I they're going to start being able to hit up and they'll be able to do the one chest consistently but even on L show yesterday he was basically say forget the two chest option even H is even there don't even worry about it just do one chest forget that they even exist okay same problem with groups if you go to the next slide same problem with groups your group cost gets so high that even if you solo a 70 with the max Loop bonus you could possibly have you will not be able to afford a three chest at tier 11 you will not be able to afford a two chest at tier 12 is impossible to get there see this this this is what aggravates me about about this Loop and and well no subjective commentary okay I still feel like this was wrong and they never came back to fix it I still feel like it was wrong because it relies on the group and Quil and uh s sanguin otter both have a strategy in mind here and this is going back to how do you manage your alliance if you are with a group of your peers well quel gave me a screenshot I don't have it in front of me so I can't share with you but two tier 11s were able to take down a 68 1.2 and then they swapped what that meant was the first person got the star chest and half the base loot the second person got the bonus chest then they swapped so each of them walked away from that session just two armadas between the two of them with roughly 10 million now that gave them double chest at tier 11 that's actually each only spent 00 directives they each only spent their their free directive that week so there is a strategy there at tier 11 in order to continue to make more than than a single chess Pole right it was NE it was never going to be enough to get a three chest pole it'd have to do 70s and still do more than that so I think that there is a way of still getting some loot but let's move forward on why you may want to so next Loop next uh next slide why you may want to the evolution gift if you are G5 guess what you have access to for the first time ever free to play that must be G6 material yeah yeah is G6 material you will get Sigma resources you will get G6 material now you can't spend the sigma anywhere but you can unlock some primes with that g 6 rare that G6 uncommon there plenty of prime you know you say you can't spend that Sigma anywhere but that's not 1,000% true when you get your board Cube maxed out for G5 yeah you'll need Sigma to repair the board Cube oh the other thing here and this is so calling out andela for sending me screenshots for this they were saying they could go straight from 58 to 62 and I was like what how and because of the Revenant so a lot of us have really had to think okay do I wait at 60 do I wait at 61 that whole thought process is very different now if you have a Revenant high enough to get this uh these chests and the strategy for Matt SP solo leaderboards players that were on the upper end of G5 may wait at op 60 for a while so they can spend a bunch but the minute they hit G6 they're like I don't have any G6 to uncommon to spend well now now they do they've got a source for that G6 uncommon they can Bank up the 10 days those 10 rules and have over 30,000 G6 uncommon ready to spend right away ready to go to op 62 ready to pump some of that into the selki if they really wanted to so this is a crazy source for G5 players now you do not need to add the refit do not need to actually unlock the refit in order to get this benefit but getting back to tier 10 will take you four months so I would uh heavily suggest possibly going to uh to evolve to Mark III near when you're actually thinking about going to G6 upper G5 I think this is not a bad strategy especially because it gives you that Head Start in a G6 additionally gives you the ionized Nexus particles which help you Max some of those early researches and on the next slide you can kind of see got a few of those laid out for you um so that is giving you some efficiencies on your resources on your forbidden Tech um and on the Nova Squadron and the artifact Gallery efficiency so that gives you the max of those okay uh I don't think we need to talk about what to do in uh Mark III so much more I think we are this is the this this the slide that went off the tangent no this isn't okay yeah okay all right here we are so Revenant Loop review Mark 3 Solo strategy should be on slide 29 so you're on 33 so go back a few okay you get a new ship ability 40,000 Apex barrier you're not outputting any more damage you're not getting any more shot bonus yes as you increase your level you will get more damage bonus but the 40,000 Apex barrier means you can survive a lot longer against these targets they're not going to kill you as quickly which means you can go up higher uh and I would suggest that is easy enough for you to start hitting the highest level of solos that is the 68 3.2 is probably the goal I actually would I'm going to change my goal suggestion from 70 to 68 because it's going to be more sustainable to hit the 68 3.2 especially early on and it gives you a comparable amount of loot not all of that loot a comparable amount of loot but here's the the crazy part this is where the enemy piercing becomes huge at 62 3. tws um we can remember this you can see on this chart here it goes from basically 6 million in piercing stats all the way up to 300 million piercing stats it is a huge change so this is where there's going to be a crew switch you are going to have to focus on mitigation to some degree I was using peard Bev and Gwen dearco for basically all of my mark 2 land uh but Bev only gives me at Max 350% yes she is boosted from peard uh but 350% not going to be a lot even if I had Tom Paris below I'm still not getting a lot so using a stronger mitigation officer like the doctor on your Bridge they actually get you more mitigation and pairing Paris below deck with a bridge mitigation officer will even give you even more it becomes highly important because if you're going up against 300 million piercing stats you need as much mitigation as you can get denone is saying hey mitigation is stupid you're only me getting 20% at best uh you know I was mitigating about 40% using chanway the doc wend De Marco and Paris below deck my dock is not even tier tier five it's only tier four uh so there's still room for mitigation because even with your Apex barrier your Apex barrier only comes in after you receive damage so if you can mitigate more of the damage ahead of time you're actually helping down the line to reduce how much is getting to your hole this is actually this you're seeing the screen screenshot here of me at Mark at tier 10 with the whole component only the whole component added being able to defeat a 70 I was not able to do this before I added the doctor and Paris blow deck combined any other thoughts feelings I just feel like DJ's mind is blown or he's just running a bunch of armadas now that I'm running a bunch of armadas right now yeah well good I hope our listening audience is also doing the same I see that I I see um just a second ago count DeVille said oh my God I just went and crushed a 60.2 did not know I could do that that is awesome Doug over on YouTube said this is amazing teaching uh this is great stuff a lot of people talking about how this is going to change their uh transition from G5 into G6 giving you the massive boost to not just sit at uh 61 but go ahead and make that push to 62 and maybe try to get a minor so uh this is absolutely incredible and and honestly juul is probably something that a large majority of the audience including myself wasn't as familiar with but this is why I was kind of talking earlier like there's videos and there's teaching from 90 days ago but we've had three months to flesh out this Loop this is what this presentation is so now the freeto play uh who are just now getting the ship they've got the benefit of three months of us kind of stumbling through and learning and figuring out all this stuff now you've got a really solid guide which is very very cool yes go for it um what about like toly or uh six of 11 uh these types of offic that that uh like reduce their per would that be something to look into at that level they reduce their piercing based on a statistic like an officer stat because they start at 300 million you need your officer stats what 30 million that's not really possible right now so it's not an effective way this is where when we kind of go if you want to advance next slide we talk about group strategy um it may be worth have a player who does not have a large Revenant coming up to your group and bringing a ship that can cloak because that cloaked counter surveillance is a it reduces their piercing by 100% of Base basically brings their piercing to zero no other tool in the game is going to do that kind of impact particularly on these the totally in Mark 1es the the the 1.0 or the 3.0 those down there where they have low piercing yeah to's gonna have a big impact on those so that's why using de Josh to toi and five of 11 or de Josh to and Gwen De Marco maybe useful on the lower am it's not going to be effective on these upper end uh all right if you can hit to the next slide too this is I did actually have the quil's uh screenshot here of when he duoed a 68 1.2 with two tier 11s I think he's got a couple of components on his ally his Alliance mate there but it kind of shows how to relatively equal ships can hit a pretty high Target trade off and maximize their payout so that's uh some of the Mark II strategy uh the last thing I want to talk about is progression now one of the things that has scared me is that the group are modop they get insane expensive you cannot triple chest anymore after tier 12 and above that's not even thing you can't double chest at tier 12 and above so you can only one chest how is that going to impact how is that going to impact your ability to progress how's it going to impact your income of your resources and your materials and from tier 11 going to tier 12 that's a struggle you have to bump down you're actually not just losing out on Sigma and on six-star you're actually losing out on Epic ship parts so if you just go tier 11 tier 12 tier 13 it actually reduces your ability to progress through those levels than if you just stayed at tier 11 now I have done the math and if we ignore solos for now just say okay those are going to stay constant through all of these level all these tiers but my groups are going to drop down from even three chest of tier 11 down to one chest tier 12 and tier 13 how does that affect my progression uh I don't have an actual chart for this I'm just going to tell you that it will take 67 days if you go straight through it will take 59 days if you stop wait at tier 11 and you jump to tier 14 so 10% Savings in time to progress that isn't a lot um I know matter as you and I were talking earlier today and you were saying that I'm just I'm not going to keep track of 6 59 days versus 67 days I'm just going to continue to progress because if I don't I'm going to forget I'm G to overshoot and it's going to be like three months before I for I remember to upgrade my Revenant right so you're saying progressing in real time actually cost you 10 days it cost you 10 days in progression and particularly between tier 11 and tier 12 it's even costing you in the in the major Maj output of this which is the sigma and the materials resources and materials so it is not advantageous to actually go from tier 11 to tier 12 because you have to drop down in your groups here's something that could change because this is the depends on your group caveat if you're already pulling one chest or pulling zero chest in your for your group of mod of chests then this doesn't matter then none of this matters because it's not a factor it's not going to be a reduction because you weren't pulling them to begin with so if you're already at one chest PS on your groups don't worry about it forget what everything I said continue progressing if you are you know whale tailing it up and you've got a hundreds of millions of loot now because you've been wh taing it up well maybe you can still progress and get through your two chest poles up until you don't need to anymore but eventually at tier 14 the payout of the Epic ship part increases by 4 times actually no it's more like nine times the amount at between tier 13 tier 14 increases nine times because the requirement at tier 14 is so high they remember this is the the problem with 100 days at tier 14 before you can scrap it again yeah well their their fix after Griffin spent an absorbent amount of money on the ship was to increase the Epic ship parts that you get at the tier 14 refiner levels so you absolutely want to get to tier 14 that did the day you can get there get there because you will get so much more Epic ship parts it's going to allow you to progress to that last level and by that point the base payout even though you're getting less of it even know pulling it less the base payout is so much higher that you still see a net benefit all I see here is more evidence that these Refinery costs were wrong from the very beginning because they they it they came out publicly said it was not supposed to repeat the mistakes of Stella and they even went so far as to name the specific Stella mistake which was punishing progression they literally said it is not intended for it to be more expensive or more difficult or pay less to progress yet that's exactly what we see here and it's all because of the refinery costs which I am still to this day convinced were launched inaccurately because this doesn't make sense Jules I mean what you're talking about right here going from tier 11 to tier 14 not only is it faster to sit at tier 11 but there's a math problem but then also between tier 11 to tier 12 and then tier 12 to tier 13 you're actually making less than you were making at tier 11 that is wrong that's a Stella style error and they specifically said they weren't they they were avoiding that and they didn't and that is because the refinery math is wrong period why wasn't this brought up launch month it was indeed and I was told that uh I was told that they were going to look at it and then they went on holiday break because this came in December they went on holiday break and when we got back to it in January they they had moved on they said that they were not revisiting it so this this is frustrating to me I agree I there's still a way to progress and once you get to tier 14 and you're ready to scrap for Mark four if you want to progress the next slide there's no reason to wait anymore you've reached the top you're already at the most expensive refiner levels there's nothing to be scared of to scrap for markv what you'll get is the rest of the ionized particles you need to complete the tree if you're getting through this free to play you will also have all of the regular ioniz part or the regular particles by this point to completely finish the tree so basically once you get to markv you're done um again don't forget to level it to 71 plus and I would also Bank up some chips for a few days at least so you can get the biggest Bon bonus from that um and then obviously unlock the refit before upgrading your ship because you'll need the efficiency to get back or else you're spending seven months trying to get back there instead of uh faster route which is getting the efficiency so so when you say Bank up chips what do you mean by Bank up chips this would be the fabricator chips that you use to redeem for one chest is it one chip or five chest is five chips then you redeem for each of the two chest is five two chest is five yeah sorry that's correct uh so why would you why would you save them for each scrap because if you are not making more than three on average a day you can actually spend down that and that's what's going to happen at Mark 3 you're not going to be making three a day so if you Bank some of those chips up you evolve then you tear up you're going to get more base materials a better chance well not a better chance it's the same chance but more in those uh bundles for for G6 so you'll actually make more if you save up chips evolve go up a tier two and then start using those chips out you'll still be able to consistently pull each bundle at least one chest of each of the material types for a while now that is not these are these are the normal Fabricators but not the advanced fabricator right because the advanced fabricator we have been told that those are limited to 10 per Evolution so like I can't take the 10 tokens from Mark I and use those on Mark III so the advanced Fabricators you might as well go and spend them what we're talking about are the normal Fab fabricator chips that come from the solo and group refineries the purple ones not the yeah uh right here the purple uh fabricator chips right here that that come in your solo and group refineries those put a screenshot in your in the the circle that just kind of highlights the Mark I and Mark iiii ones yeah here you go I feel like people been hoarding those from the beginning I've actually been spending yeah I've been spending I've been spending mine too because I make on average two a day but I can spend three a day so I had a small Bank saved up and now I'm spining them down me too now that I'm at Mark now that I'm at Mark II as of yesterday uh and I'm starting to get more so I'm already getting 220 you know rare is like the the choice that is double what I was getting at tier 10 MH that makes sense yeah I'm doing the same thing uh I am I had a little bit of a bank when I was early Mark 1 now that I'm Mark 2 I am and I'm still burning those things down uh I'm spending a single pull in each of the three materials each day and and honestly now that I just realized what I can do I'll probably not I'm probably going to continue to build a surplus because I'll be able to double pull pull the solos every day you know so that's going to continue to allow me to kind of build a surplus that compined with the groups uh is going to allow me to continue to build a surplus for when I get later into Mark iiii so I mean that that's huge soin wall you do not get G5 materials in the regular fabricator chips at G4 it's still it's still locked to the material type that you're available to get yeah what uh you're looking at is specifically the the advance yeah the advanced fabricator if I can go back to that chart wherever it was I've lost it it's in there somewhere 31 slide 31 thank you uh no not 31 well I've lost here you go Advanced fabricator here on 27 so the advanced fabricator chips is where you can go as a G5 and start earning these six-star are common uncommon and rare out of the advanced fabricator chips but you're only getting 10 of those but I look look here as a G4 then going to mark 2 this is what we were talking about look one chip is giving you uh 20 one one chip is giving you 13,000 festar uncommon and I presume that that's of what each material that's combined that is combined Okay so 13,000 total festar uncommon um you know combined between the three I mean that's that's crazy significant chaos says can you Bank the 10 rolls for Mark 2 and use it at Mark III no not with the advanced fabricator chips they are locked to their evolution so when you earn the 10 for Mark 2 you got to use them on Mark two if you wait to go to Mark III you have not lost them but you will not be able to spend the mark 2 ones on the Mark II they are a separate token so uh when you I'm not sure that's the case but I do know that the the the actual bundle has like a 10 roll Max okay so the token might be the same but but you're still limited to 10 on the bundle gotcha yeah so you could use the mark 2 tokens on the Mark II but you still can only pull it 10 times and then you're still stuck with the Mark I you can pull 10 times so there's no reason to wait on collecting those agreed okay uh that concludes basically our slideshow for you guys
