Analysis of Tyler Gregory Okoma's Chromacopia

chromia albums they're hard to make and even harder to relatively make decent most end up being terrible some are a good listen few are great but every once in a while there comes an album that stands far ahead of the rest it may have changed your way of thinking made you feel actually understood for once or even takes you on a experience that makes you go oh my God these albums are masterpieces and I think Tyler Gregory okoma has created one of his own I introduce to you chop chromia Tyler's eighth installation to his discography his dad normally he just finds a new way to call him a derogatory slur for gay individuals and that's only one of the plethora of feelings he discusses on this album this is like his own version of Kendrick's critically Acclaim Mr Morell and the big steppers and in this album he really shows damn [ __ ] gets the [ __ ] album [ __ ] fine let's start off with track one throughout the beginning half of s chroma Tyler makes the artistic decision to whisper his rap lyrics instead of speaking normally this Choice leads to a sound of intensity and raw need need is in the need he felt to make his music his career this entire segment is carried by soldiers marching synthesizers and breathing albs these all come together to give this song its aggressive Edge then Tyler adds these Rising vocals that gives the beat an uplifting sense from the planet Willi St for new for got see these vocals signify that the intensity that Tyler brought the beginning of the song is finally winning this is further proven with the lyrics as Tyler repeats the words I'm going to make it out showing that he sees his music career coming into fruition and this fruition leads to this beautiful anthem of a choir capturing that emotion of when your hard work starts showing real promise and at the peak of it all the choir ends and we dragged into this transition beat that sounds straight out of a joker so it's as if he reverbed a siren to give you this unsettling feeling then he adds these other albs that sound like yeah as if you're being transferred into this other dimension and after a little while of this we finally land and we're welcome by Tyler in his normal rapping voice and a calm piano the beat is still there it's just it's a piano now and it's more well less chaotic this segment Tyler has grown significantly older he reflects on his past he talks about his mom thinking he was going to be special way beforehand and he also talks about his riches and how he's really achieved his goals but he has a new problem this problem lies with the fact that he doesn't know what to do he kind of achieved all his goals and did everything that he sought out to do so what's the plan now he talks about needing time to figure himself out and he doesn't know if he wants to keep on making music or maybe call it a day retire if you needed help with that you [ __ ] di after Tyler finished up his venting we're then introduced to the same choir again but this time full Acappella no beat just straight Acappella and my God it's sounds literally [Music] [Applause] Angelic feel that and it ends up rubbly because it leads to another song The ratat so we going to talk about that in a second let me give you my thoughts though in conclusion say chroma really resonates with me because of the simple fact that I understand that raw need for [ __ ] to work this song is mainly for people who have a passion that they can't shake anything else that they do is [ __ ] disgusting and they hate it Tyler has been on both sides of the coin when he needed stuff to work and when he made stuff work and he's talking deeply about these challenges and obstacles and really trying to show you hey yo it's going to be tough but when you make it on the other side it's going to be even better it's a raw Persona of someone trying to make a career or die trying she ain't never met no one who like that and if you hang up on a [ __ ] [ __ ] I call right moving on to rat I don't know what the [ __ ] you need me to say this song is just a straight up Thumper it's a banger I'mma put myself up here just going crazy to this song because there's nothing else I got to say about it listen if you are a classic Tyler fan you're going to love this song it's just straight up head banging dumping action bro and when he start talking about that 20,000 homie 50,000 homie 100,000 homie coule thousand bro I I just I come on bro what am I supposed to talk about here I done dressed up for the occasion I got my Dewey on I got my rings on that's how crazy this be sound I'm lowkey scared I'm trying to act like a gangster but like there's nothing I can do for real like [Music] going into the biggest song on chromoplast from the word paranoid in fact it sounds so much so it's almost like paranoid doesn't even mean unreasonably or obsessively anxious suspicious or mistress but if you never knew what paranoid meant you'd probably think noid is about this BL full hopefulness like we're just gallivanting and having fun yay listening to the intro you can tell Tyler and Willow took their time to perfectly orchestrate and craft this 12 seconds of absolute Bliss it seriously pains me how underrated and unappreciated Willow is on this album I mean nobody's talking about her you can go in the comments and check and people are just not even talking about her she did amazing anyway we then break off into ER speaking to what sounds like a [Music] megaphone this whole area including the native tongue section sounds like a beautiful melodic Cry for Help it's almost like the Japanese artists who make um offlining music but they make it sound amazing then Tyler actually starts rapping he goes into deep details about about these routines and procedures he follows in his daily life to make sure he's safe for example how he notices every car that drives by he knows every creaking his floor how he stays well armed with that cannon on the after he's done touching on these topics the native tongue comes back again but Willow Willow you I would have called you something crazy but I don't want you to take offense to it native tongue comes in and Willow is just in the back [Music] Willow was so good oh my God but Willow isn't the only thing in motion during the segment the guitar and the drums are back but now they're even more into the beat and it just makes this powerful message to show you the real horrors of this paranoia overall the first part of Noid is great it portrays Tyler's day-to-day fear of getting caught lacking and it gives a slight peek into his life now we hop into the second part of Noid my person favor this second part is focused more on the frustration of having little to no privacy parasocial fans and Trust Issues listen listen rightfully so it's trust issues but he has the right to have them like [ __ ] please don't kill me this part of the song sounds less experimental it revers back to old Tyler which comes with rough attitude piano and some banging ass voice alibs vocal alibs nous system way before 19 La do that to you where you [ __ ] he touches on different topics like how dangerous La is and fans keep on Crossing [ __ ] lines sorry I get mad about that because y'all really be making us look bad just be a normal person please there's even a bar where he Compares having privacy to making it to the NBA when he says that flow sounds like an up and cominging artist named L who is definitely inspired by Tyler creators oh and L if you watch watching this bro you are [ __ ] inspiring please keep cooking bro you are going to be big trust me if I had if you had stock I would buy it type [ __ ] this whole song has been something Tyler has been talking about for a long time especially in interviews no not at all [ __ ] is weirdos people are weirdos the internet is weirdos I don't want I don't want you [ __ ] I want people know my family look like y'all need to know where I live y'all need to really know who I'm [ __ ] um everyone weird and you got to keep your peace and you you got to protect yourself cuz people out here is [ __ ] weirdos and even because of it like I hate this I'll just be driving and the kid is like oh my God and just start filming like [ __ ] say hi first people just don't respect celebrities anymore now more than ever they don't even see them as humans anymore they're just objects that they're just supposed to oh take a picture of me oh I need to know everything about you like n no go home this is a deeper issue with humankind becoming increasingly more antisocial and lonely leading to people who want to cling on to anyone who slightly relates to them I'll go more into detail about this topic in another video if you guys want to see that just write down in the comments overall great experience not song experience from Tyler good [ __ ] don't ever tell no [ __ ] you L if you don't mean it don't tell us check now for one of my favorite songs on the album Darling I as soon as you start listening you're H with this retro R&B feel from like the late 9 to the early 2000 right around my birth year Tyler and Teo team up again to make an absolute love Anthem but the twist is it's not really a love Anem darling eye definitely has love in there but this love isn't monogamous you see in darling eye Ty of the career Compares his way of love to driving cars he goes on to explain how he likes driving different cars in different situations like how he likes to drive his Beamer when he wants to drift his Rolls-Royce when he wants to feel safe and how he d his La Ferrar when he wants to drive a pretty car he then brings his full circle to compare humans with cars okay it doesn't it doesn't sound as bad as I made it sound he's just explained that he likes messing with certain people in certain times and he likes messing with other people in certain times that's why he doesn't like monogamy it's just not for him it's even more genius when he says the [Music] lines indicating that being together forever is a bit too long for him darling La is also filled with insane vocals and synthesizers honestly listening to this whole song just sounds like a big party of love I truly almost shed a tear because it's like damn [ __ ] this [ __ ] beautiful man Tyler has captured Nostalgia and modernization in a bottle and made it sound [ __ ] amazing Teo is also the frosting on this cake making every single layer of this cake even better my God every single time I kept on listening to this song I just kept repeating to myself this [ __ ] can sing and this meant even more to me since I've known T touchdown even before his album I knew this [ __ ] since he was having dreads with Nails in his hair on Tik Tok in front of this random ass garage at that time I was slightly a hater but I liked his music I'm so happy of how far too touchdown has come and him and Tyler have just created something massive here I really hope this song gets big really big always always always wear a condom don't trust after some top tier advice from Tyler's mom we're immedately greeted with a more serious tone hey Janes beat starts off with a minimalist Melody it says the tone is a perfect background beat for Tyler to tell a thoughtful story almost like a deep talk with a friend you haven't seen in a while but they've been through some traumatic [ __ ] Tyler talks about his pregnancy scare and his deep care for this girl named Jane he raps as if he's talking to Jane or maybe even texting her he goes on to compliment things he likes about her for example her legs being long and her being extremely smart he also likes the fact that they can relate about having no Daddy these quality are important because Tyler has spoken multiple times on interviews about how he really likes women who are smart anyone else for my own personal validation and I will not touch a female if she's stupid like if you do if you are not curious or intelligent I don't care how bad you are I cannot deal with it right in fact it's almost impossible for the niggaer to [ __ ] with dumb [ __ ] not almost really impossible which me personally I definitely get it I'm fully convinced there's a lot of people who don't have a conscience fighting anyway Tyler then goes on to explain how his mom and Jane's mom would definitely be [ __ ] excited if they were having a child but Tyler being a private person insists that they keep it a secret don't tell anyone he references how bad this could get if the wrong people find out for example their exes he talks about how both of them relate to the fact that their exes want to see them in Hell which further proves why he doesn't want to tell anyone at the end of the day Tyler's point is that their situation has nothing to do with anyone else including their EX is it's a decision that they both have to make which I have to give props to Tyler here if he truly said these things to Jane people can learn a thing or two about communication from Tyler Tyler then makes a pretty cheeky analogy he Compares pulling out to pulling a car out of a driveway but the twist is there's barely any time to do so anyway he of course doesn't pull out in time and he's deeply disappointed in himself he explained how this isn't like him and he shouldn't have been so reckless and he sounds like he's just going into a straight spiral literally losing his mind over this and you may be thinking hey it's not that big of a deal he's 30 something he should be having kids already wrong people like me who are terrified of having kids definitely understand what he's going through you're bringing a whole human into this world and you're sacrificing a lot especially for Tyler who has so many things on his plate Tyler goes deeper into his thoughts about having a child and he's a bit distraught looking for some type of comfort Tyler vents to J terrified I he's completely honest with her even expressing his fears Tyler also takes accountability for the situation since he in fact was in control Tyler understanding the situation communicating how he feels and still comforting her in validating her feelings gang I ain't going to lie that's what I be doing for real real [ __ ] though props props Tyler good [ __ ] Tyler gives us a slight break to digest what was said kind of like when your friend is just Dro some crazy [ __ ] and they just have to go to the bathroom really quick but when he returns from the bathroom he comes out as Jane and oh boy this second part is um tough we got the news and I forgot how to Brea in the Panic you was me Jane basically says the same thing as Tyler but she brings up a couple interesting points I ain't even going to hold you bro Jane trying to be your mama yes Jane wanted the baby but she wanted it as a secret just between the both of them she explains how Tyler's mom and her mom both handled single Parenthood well so why can't she she also talks about having her own money and being fully capable of financially taking care of the child Jane even reciprocates the same energy by validating Tyler's feelings she completely agrees that this [ __ ] has way too much on his plate to have a baby right now Jane's reasoning behind wanting to keep the baby is slightly vague but extremely sad she tries to explain something that happened to her when she was 24 but it's way too traumatic for her to talk about I was 24 look I don't want to go through that experience again implying that this isn't the first time she's had a pregnancy scar Jane also talks about a voice Insider that begs her to keep the baby and during this part [ __ ] I almost started crying because it's like that's so deep she understands that it's a lose lose situation and it deeply hurts her now the Beast starts slowly picking up it portrays the intensity and the fear of the situation perfectly it's louder it has some vocals there's a trombone in there and a flute but the weird thing is all these instruments are played calmly what truly makes the moment intense SL fearful is Tyler's amazing performance and the tempo I'm not going to lie this [ __ ] Tyler really goes deep into his back to portray an overwhelmed pregnant woman and honestly there's nothing to be said damn this [ __ ] is like Wiltshire on steroids but a little bit shorter and my God it is [ __ ] great he really cook he cooked he cook there's nothing else I can say about it I'm sorry [Music] next and I killed you we get a more rebellious side of Tyler this side is cleaner than the wolf era but still has hella attitude and I killed you Tyler tackles the topic of African hair and how demonized it is in the intro Tyler remixes the popular nursery rhyme the wheels on the bus go round and round he switches the lyrics to things that damage black hair going round and around meaning they're ongoing I personally don't think this detail was for nothing my theory is that he's using nursury Rhymes to symbolize that we've been brainwashed to demonize Black ha since a young age hopefully that makes sense Tyler then raps over a beat that sounds like some African drums and it further pushes The Narrative of his Pro blackness got to eat if they see you on to of me I got to you see Tyler connects his self-esteem with his hair and if his hair is seen as so [ __ ] ugly in its natural state how do you think that makes him feel yeah pretty pretty [ __ ] bad Tyler PR Supra his hair for how essential it is to Black Culture he also explains how the hair helped slaves escape bondage which you should go do your research on it's actually pretty interesting Tyler then flips the script now talking about the bad things we do to our hair G so we straighten you out without doubt then we rever back to Tyler praising the hair again he Praises it with how easy it was to take care of before coils became a problem only needing berries and some slight oils to work with your hair but now we use all these horrible methods like Jerry curls and Mimis to make our hair relaxed we even made derogatory names for our hair names like Bea Beads no real [ __ ] who the I want to ask you a question why do we participate in this eternalized racism we always have to somehow alter our hair make it more soft or make it less coily or have no be to be but I'm happy more and more black people are wearing their natural hair more than ever example Tyler of course and other people that I absolutely [ __ ] hate like Jay-Z as much as I hate the guy he's a black billionaire who wears his natural hair all the time no matter the occasion which I have to respect still don't [ __ ] with him though anyway Tyler then slightly proves my Fury you see while he's talking about the demonization of black hair he speaks about the brainwashing starting from a young age childhood in fact this slightly proves my theory because I brought up the fact that he uses nursery rhymes to symbolize childhood in the beginning of the song and before we dive any deeper I have to apologize to the biggest victim of this whole situation black women I'm about to get a little bit corny but any black women watching this from the deepest part of my heart I'm genuinely very sorry I'm so sorry that your crown has been used as this horrible thing and trust me it's not it's not ugly it's not horrible it's not disgusting it's absolutely [ __ ] amazing keep rocking that [ __ ] Queen moving on Tyler then flexes his P [Music] the need I say more if you didn't get that bar he's basically saying that black people don't look like white people they don't match the same images so when they started trying to look like white people because white people being the beauty standard that's where the damages came in you see where you Tyler then brings back the hook but this time he Embraces his hair and even refers to it as a crown then this [ __ ] drops another bom bro the entire song could actually also be about heritage heritage I feel like a Disney character I'm so serious bro you Dam you can't [ __ ] with Tyler then cers us and gives us a soothing outro symbolizing that he's finally embraced his hair this song is so [ __ ] fire I I don't know what else to say about it it it took me time to actually understand it but I read the lyrics I got it and my God it it just [ __ ] sticks sticks D what a song and I got my [ __ ] on I was foreshadowing Ty [ __ ] hold on [Music] uh I didn't even write a script for Judge Judy I really like the beat it got me half naked Tyler is one freak I had to go search up what you know I don't even know if I can say that you see what I like I can't say nothing without knowing if I'm going get good song great song I love this song don't get me wrong I absolutely really like this song it's just I can't say anything about it I I literally can't all right so I respect Judy for telling Tyler to be himself and telling Tyler that she's had a greatest time ever with him even though it was purely listen I gang I I can't say nothing about this song BR I'm I'm I'm really not trying to cop out here I just really can't say anything about this song If you want to hear it Go hear it I relate to him in a couple of these bars especially one about um riding horses and another one about not wanting anything in return it's it's very relatable bars I yeah he just like me for real typ [ __ ] thank you for not Jud jul no okay bye sticky is a song that takes you back to those Middle School to high school days where you and your homies were just freestyling in the cafeteria I'm talking and nigas was just dropping bars but the twist is y'all also happen to be in New Orleans honestly sticky has to be the most raw song on the entire album raw is in the lyrics not the production honestly this production is phenomenal from the loud Soulful trumpets to the big freaky percussions [ __ ] sound like I'm in the Fifth Quarter [ __ ] sound like I'm in the middle of a parade but what I mean by raw is sticky showcasing this bigger than life attitude that just makes you want to yeah that's what it is this whole song is just a straight up M song and I got to say I never thought I'd put glorilla over Little Wayne in any song or category but on this song I ain't going to lie she rode this beat like it was her man yeah I'm still frustrated that she didn't get a longer future because this beat was carefully crafted and orchestrated for her but honestly short but sweet is okay she's definitely a top 10 future on the album for sure top five top five I don't fight for my respect [ __ ] I fight for [Music] dick Tyler brings the best out of every future on chrom acopia but on this song he goes the extra mou for LaToya Williams at the beginning of take your mask off we enter a flower boy SLC call me if you get lost Symphony that has a slight gospel twist to it this fits Latoya perfectly because if you ever been to a black church she's the Auntie that everyone knows can sing and I swear this [ __ ] can't stop putting Angelic vocals on a piano and I can't stop loving it [Music] your mask off S story moving on to the first verse we're finally introduced to the topic of take your mask off the mole of the story is be yourself [ __ ] Tyler dives into different characters that live their life as a fake persona this fake persona is basically classified as the mask Tyler urges his listeners to take your mask off AKA live your life truly Tyler speaks about three people the pastor the gangster and the wife tell has a nice detail here where he starts off with a common fake persona then basically challenges a society correct way of life anyway we start off with the gangster the gangster is just a run-of-the-mill story some niggaer in the goddamn BBS be like oh I don't like being called a [ __ ] and he just start shooting [ __ ] up the usual you know like just them ho ass [ __ ] I hate them [ __ ] when it starts getting a bit more interesting is when he talks about the preacher Tyler speaks about a pastor who constantly preaches against homosexuality but the twist is the [ __ ] gay too the preacher hides this side of him because he's scared God is going to hate him but what's crazy is the [ __ ] still occasionally sleeps with men I swear to God one of the rules in church was something about God always watching so how the [ __ ] was this [ __ ] going to hide from him anyway that's not even the worst part the [ __ ] is married and he has kids so he's basically trying to live a double life and it's overall not making him feel fulfilled I have a weird theory on this bear with me here bro I think these preachers think that preaching will somehow exempt them from their sin of being gay but honestly a sin is a sin and God created you that way live your life bro and if he punishes you for it what does that say about him remember how I said Tyler challeng is an issue that seems socially correct well here it is Tyler describes a woman who lives this lavish lifestyle she has a a wealthy husband three kids but despite having all this thing she's not fulfilled she longs to pursue her actual passion and also keep her real identity instead of just being a wife yet she keeps living this Persona because that's what's correct right this one hit a little bit too close to home for me since my mom has some similarities with the wife when my mom tried to be the traditional stay-at-home supportive wife it just never worked out for her and never gave her true happiness she's just way too ambitious for that and if Society thinks my mom should throw all her Dreams Away to be this wonderful wife [ __ ] Society you know what we doing for the whole 2025 we doing what makes us happy but the last first Tyler brings it full circle in this verse he does an in-depth self-evaluation of himself I don't know Tyler so I can't say much about what he says about himself but I will speak on things that I find interesting or relatable Begin by Tyler speaking on his many many many flaws and I have to say I understand his sentiment about sacrificing your mental health to keep working on your passion this is because when I have a burning desire for something I tend to spend an unhealthy amount of time on it yeah and it's not because I can't control myself no it's more like this thing brings me me joy so why shouldn't I do it as long as it's not directly hurting me or people around me then I'm going do it he also thinks deep down the reason why he doesn't want to have children is because he's selfish and honestly it's the same reason for me too I don't want to deal with a living responsibility because I love my freedom and peace both things that are selfish and a baby will definitely take away from you sure those aren't the only reasons why I don't want to have kids but they somehow always come back to those two as I've said multiple times in this video I don't want kids and I'm just so glad that Tyler relates with me on that fact and so deeply too it's kind of cool I ain't even Tyler also gives a powerful performance during this entire verse almost like he's giving his all to try and humble himself or at least keep it real with himself he also has great production and a good variety of flows on the track that does do even need it the message is powerful enough bro but he just be doing it that's what I be talking about in the end though Tyler takes off his mask by revealing his secret of wanting his flowers for his work while he's still alive and I'm not going to lie this part broke me and it honestly had me thinking why isn't Tyler in the big three and not only the big three of rap he's also one of the greatest musicians SL artist of Our Generation he has constantly broken barriers and honed his skills in so many different genres and it's gotten to the point where he's even created his own sub genre the closest person that I could think of that even sounds kind of like him is Kanye but when you listen to them closely they sound different like really different so here are my flowers to you Tyler you inspired an entire generation of weirdo geek gatron like me and I have to say thank you for being you bro thank you for being you a that was nice that was nice that was cool my Mother's Hands don't look the same these jet black strands are turning gray starting off tomorrow we're given a monologue from Tyler's mom begging Tyler to have a child and this part is interesting because there's an alib going while she's begging for a child I'm not sure if Tyler's telling his mom to give up wanting a grand child or telling himself to give up the idea of not having kids either way it's a slight touch that gives you a little vagueness on the beginning verse Tyler gives us a peak into his experience with aging he discusses his physical changes that come with middle age his mother getting visibly older and the looming thought of having children stresses him out this entire segment has a slight Jazz Noir feel and it gives it a slight Gloom of some sort if I'm not mistaken this is something a bit new for Tyler not in the sense of using jazz in general but more as in using it to portray a depressing atmosphere this goes to show the variety that Tyler fits into chrom acopia so it has something for everybody I also love the hook on this song and personally this has to be his best singing performance on chrom acopia don't you wait for me cuz time got nothing right [Music] on the next verse Tyler explains how he isn't the same person anymore this is mainly for his older fans who somehow just don't think this [ __ ] will ever grow up and he'll just stay a [ __ ] teenager who hates his dad but sorry Bud he's all grown up now he's not 18 19 making bastard or Goblin he's 353 he even makes a nice bar saying signifying that he's not just physically older he's also more mature and wiser mostly different from his younger days let alone his teenage days as the Beast starts picking up Tyler starts sharing some midlife crisis experiences he speaks about his friends and how they share pictures of their families while he only has pictures of his cars in and I quote silly suits what I think Tyler is trying to get across here is that his materialistic possessions don't give him the same amount of fulfillment as his friends get from their family and I could have sworn Kanye had the same exact problem back in 08 H who knows Tyler reaches the peak of the beat and reveals to us that he's actually unsure about his next move he Bargains between living his life to the fullest or settling down in having a family and I've got to say the beat during this verse gave Tyler the perfect amount of intensity to really Express his frustration all I got isos my suit IP awitch and settle down finish off tomorrow with a nice trumpet or trombone solo that seems to be from Daniel Caesar I didn't even know he and honestly it was the CH on top of this beautifully old ass cake it's always been a bit hard for me to accept aging not hard as in when I'm older I don't want to say my age but more so of seen the people around me grow older too baby brothers turning into Brothers baby cousins turning into cousins gray hair being a common thing between your uncles aunties and even parents and also seeing your grandparents get more and more fragile even losing some of them hearing Tyler being further down the road and being on the older side of things is a scary Testament to how little time we have tomorrow to me isn't only a midlife crisis song but also a stark reminder that we don't have as much time as we think we do so live your life to the full bullet and do your best every single day you only got one chance do not waste that [ __ ] moving on to thought I was dead this is honestly another attitude banger but I didn't really like this song A Lot personally this was the weakest song on the album though I really like Tyler's energy and the production was amazing like top five this [ __ ] school boy Q just ruined it for me his Bars were okay his flow was solid but his energy just didn't match the song at all I don't think this was more laid back kind of music more like [ __ ] at your throat like thought I was dead anyway during thought I was dead Tyler speaks on the swifties and Twitter in general and I'm not going to lie to you this part definitely got me hype the bars and the energy it was there like this [ __ ] was swinging at it but as the song kept on going he lost so much steam he still had energy though the energy was still like but the flow and the bars they were just mediocre it was it was mediocre I'm not saying this is a bad song at all don't get me wrong it's a good song in general but compared to what Tyler has created in his entire discography and just the the songs on chrom acopia this is more like a five out of 10 for Tyler yeah I just really wish this was a signal that's all damn [ __ ] every time I look at you I swear to God [ __ ] you got that [ __ ] feet you got that [ __ ] body you got that [ __ ] long arms fingers and [ __ ] wait why did that make me feel so uncomfortable during this whole part I felt really really uncomfortable even with a present father in my life I absolutely hate when our physical similarities are ever brought up I usually receive it by just smiling or laughing and just saying yeah Tyler repeats the same sentiments that his mom said about him resembling his father he says these words in some kind of Despair almost like a child who has gone through a traumatic event she said that I make expressions [Music] like he then refers to his father as a ghost that he's chasing but obviously he can't find him because you can't see a ghost Tyler sorrowfully questions his mother if he looks like his father getting more and more desperate as he asks her since she won't reply Tyler asks her one more [Music] time then PS us into this vibrant instrumental that sounds reminiscent of playing during a hot saturated summer day on a sunflower field it's fun it's relaxing and most of all it's colorful as [ __ ] this instrumental also has a electric guitar and it's pretty [ __ ] euphoric I mean God damn it it's just it's beautiful further down the track Tyler mentions love attention and protection all things his mother gave him so why does he miss this father that he never had side note Frank Ocean also had a similar revelation on the track there will be tears which came out in 2011 in the lyrics he speaks about a friend a friend who told him that having an absent father isn't so bad and how could you miss someone who you've never had Frank Ocean joined Odd Future around 2010 to 11 odd future is founded by Tyler of course I'm probably reaching but if Tyler is the friend that Frank Ocean is talking about I'm more than happy to see him finally be vulnerable with these feelings it's really important back to the song Tyler is adamant that he's not going to judge his mom and even brings up the point that everything worked out even with his absent father this bar had me thinking if Tyler's dad was just present we might have never known who Tyler was think about it if Tyler's dad was present the entire wolf era is completely erased it couldn't [ __ ] exist Tyler and Lola then began one of the most majestic choruses I've ever heard in my life chasing I don't know Tyler then advises us again to be honest with ourselves and anything that lives inside of you that lights of fire in your soul do it just like he did and now he's achieved everything he's ever wanted then Lola Young comes back at the Forefront again pouring her heart and soul into these lyrics leading Tyler to join her and then ah oh you you really thought I was just going to tell you about it ah after those two edits at the front of the video oh no no no let's let's run this back let's run this back instead of telling you I I'd rather show so do I love my [Music] I look I [Music] [Applause] [Music] he doesn't look like him he's his own person and his father has no connection to that a lifetime of harsh distain and utter resentment finally lifted and in its place now lies peace we're then given an ending monologue from Tyler's mother and honestly sorry I was young you have to hear this yourself but he's always wanted to be a father to you so I I [ __ ] up and I take ownership of that my choices and decisions and I'm sorry for that he's a good guy like him is now my favorite Tyler song of all time maybe my top 10 songs ever in my life I've never heard a song touch me and tackle a topic so deeply yet sounds so magnificent I honestly couldn't find a single flaw in the song even if you gave me 20 years the vocals the production the raw emotion from Lola [ __ ] being young God damn it this song is good just listening to her give it her all it it had me on the verge of tears it's nothing but inspiring to see Tyler overcome this massive obstacle that he's been dealing with for his entire life and not only did he beat this obstacle he did it maturely and flawlessly and graceful God [ __ ] damn it respect to you Tyler like hats off bro hats hats off hats off I have nothing but praise for this song and it's the perfect ending to Tyler's struggle with his absent [Music] father balloon holy [ __ ] I don't know what Tyler was on putting balloon right after like him but God damn it I Love Balloons so much doi's performance was one of those either you hate it or you love it and my God I absolutely loved it especially since I love your new album alligator B never heal it's even in the front of this video it's honestly so it's such a good song I really love this song it's the it's a Club Banger you just listen to it and you feel like them [ __ ] just smelled really [ __ ] good while they were making the song I just see myself in this [ __ ] spaceship and the walls are made out of cotton candy that's blue and pink I like it's just an explosion of what a swamp be like it's it's it's an explosion of of greatness like it's just gosh production is amazing I love the lyrics I don't give a [ __ ] we going to air these [ __ ] out like it's a queef that's not what she said but she said something along those lines and that's what matters to me I'm I'mma spray this whole whole with [ __ ] leur yeah yeah balloon was just that song balloon was just that guy and that's why I'm freestyling this whole part because God damn it I just I can't write down how I feel about balloon no I'mma just say it straight whatever comes to my head you're hearing it and [ __ ] balloon was balloon was definitely one of them stage straight songs but yeah last song on the album you wrapping up Chom acopia with the last song on the album I hope you find your way home and I hope you find your way home Tyler revisits the topics he's discussed throughout the album pregnancy scare his midlife crisis and his wonderful beautiful gorgeous amazing cars God damn it stop talking about your cars I'm playing bro I love hearing about your cars honestly I'm a little down while talking about this song because God damn it every time I get to the end of this album I just be I be feeling sad yo I know it sounds this sounds so glazed like this is so glazed but I don't give a [ __ ] I don't care I love this album I wish it never ended but if it never ended I wouldn't love it as much as I do but God damn it I just damn yeah so just excuse my sadness he addresses some wild claims he gets from haters flexes on them then proceeds to insult them good old mature Tyler his flows are variable and fit the song and the production once again is amazing my God that syn like he is just so good with these synthesizers and this is like that's the vocals are also super solid and overall the main message here is just he hopes you find your way home find wherever it is that makes you at home at peace and be there stay there go there enjoy it I hope you find your way home as a great outro to the Masterpiece that is chrom acopia each topic that he brought up was well flushed out and he managed to fit a lot of variety in a 14 song track no small feat we also got to see some really interesting Futures some great some better than we expected some doing their job and others that were just [ __ ] terrible I really really truly enjoyed every second of this album even thought I was dead not a single song on this album felt like a chore to listen to the only thing I can even think about faulting Tyler on is him not trying nothing really new but honestly he's always trying something new and noid was something that I've never heard from him before especially the dialects and night native tongues I think this album was just a Showcase of what he's mastered over the years and my God it shows here are the three things I learned from chromia you have to be yourself be you be you be your unique you nothing in this world can give you more fulfillment than following your passion and achieving your goals lastly never let outside factors or societal pressure control what makes you happy it's your life live it to the fullest promise that to yourself so you can owe that to yourself [Music] gr [Music] my gr my [Music]
