This page provides instructions and options for McMaster users to log in and access library electronic resources, including specific guidance for students, faculty, staff, retirees, and alumni.

Accessing Library e-Resources

  • To access library e-resources, users need to log in using their institutional credentials.
  • Current McMaster students, faculty, and staff log in with their [email protected].
  • Retired faculty, courtesy members, and alumni log in using their McMaster My Library Account credentials.
  • Users must provide an email and password to log in.
  • A password reset option is available for My Library Account at the login screen.

Off-Campus Access Support

  • Lean Library browser extension can be installed to simplify off-campus access to e-resources.
  • Additional information about off-campus access is provided on the library's site.

Assistance and Support

  • Users with questions or needing help can contact University Library or Health Sciences Library through their respective "ask us" services.
