Methods to Recover a Word Document
1. Manage Documents Option
Steps:
Click on
File
in the main menu.
Navigate to
Info
.
Click on
Manage Document
drop-down.
Select
Recover Unsaved Documents
.
A dialog box appears showing folders of unsaved documents.
Navigate to the desired document and click
Open
.
Click on
Save As
to save the document.
2. Recover Deleted Documents
Steps:
Open the
Recycle Bin
.
Search for the document using the search bar or scroll through.
Once found, right-click on the document.
Select
Restore
to bring back the document to its original location.
3. Recover After Microsoft Word Crash
Steps:
Open Microsoft Word.
If the recovered document isn't visible:
Go to
Options
to open the Word Options dialog box.
Navigate to
Save
.
Copy the
Auto-Recovered File Location
.
Open the folder containing the unsaved document.
Double-click on the unsaved document.
Use
Save As
to save the document.
4. Recover Using the Open Option in Word
Steps:
Open Microsoft Word.

.
