Weekly Maintenance

Cleaning Routine

    • Use a microfiber cloth.
  • Camera: Clean every week if using ABS or when the image gets blurry.
  • Lidar: Clean every 3-5 days with ABS/ASA, or weekly.
  • Carbon Rods: Check once a month, clean every five rolls or 5 kg.

Lubrication and Greasing

  • Linear Rods: Clean and apply anti-rust coating every six months.
    • Super Lube 52004 suggested.
  • Idler Pulleys: Lubricate only if noise is present (use a needle-nose bottle for precision).
  • Z-Axis Lead Screws: Apply lithium grease every three months.
    • Lucas white lithium grease recommended.

Parts Replacement

  • Activated Charcoal Filter: Replace every three months (once a month for heavy use).
  • Silicone Sock: Replace when it shows wear or won’t stay on hot end.

  • Nozzle Wiper: Check for damage, replace if needed.
  • PTFE Tubes: Check every 5-10 rolls, replace if worn.
