hey hey everybody and welcome to another episode of fears and free I'm your host Noah and in today's episode we're going to be going over why you should never ever ever move in with someone before marriage so without further Ado let's get started [Music] foreign ly I've seen a lot of tick tock videos of women sending their boyfriends what they want for Christmas so it's usually an item or a piece of clothing or vacation with a close-up of an engagement ring in front of the photo I mean that's cute she's trying to be Sly with it you know she's insinuating I want you to propose to me for Christmas hahaha get it I mean this is cute I love this trend it's such a surreal feeling and knowing that a man is so infatuated with you and your beauty and your personality that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you he wants you to have his babies girl that's so flattering don't lie you love it too but the real question here is why won't he propose whether you're a few months in or a few years in it comes down to the same issue now we've all heard that saying why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free meaning why marry her when she's already putting out harsh slightly true the reason he won't marry you is because you've already given him wifey privileges which means you're living with him you're letting him touch your goodies you're paying half the rent you're cooking for him breakfast lunch and dinner and so on you're a perfect girlfriend I mean can you blame the guy for not getting down on one knee he's got it made in the shade no commitment he's not tied down he's getting lucky whenever he wants he has a beautiful woman who cooks for him cleans for him pampers him and is on her best behavior 24 7 because she wants that ring why ruin what we have honey listen I've seen some of my closest girlfriends date a man or stay engaged to him for five plus years and wonder why he still hasn't married her it's because there's nothing in it for him you're already giving him what he wants which is booty men and women are on different pages it's convenient when women move in with a man they think okay great this is the next step before marriage but when a man moves in with a woman they think okay I'm good now I'm now prolonging the time before I have to think about marriage right now I can see if we're even compatible it's like a trial before marriage for him here's another one it's harder to move out once you move in together you share a lease you share Furniture you share friends and sometimes you share pets my favorite animal is puppies and now intense emotions are involved that we're ultimately supposed to be shared between you and a man who committed his life to you and who vowed his love for you Studies have shown that couples that move in together before getting married if they only would have dated and not moved in together they would have only wasted a few months dating each other rather than wasting a few years they would have realized sooner that they weren't compatible Studies have also shown couples who live together before marriage have a higher rate of divorce than people who don't and you may say well Noah me and my boyfriend live together before getting married and now we've been married for 20 plus years and we have 200 grandchildren together okay that's great praise God but facts don't lie in opinions these are facts these are your prime years that you have wasted on someone that you later realize you're not compatible with and you know what you're more likely to meet your spouse sooner if you don't cohabitate with someone you could have dated around and met your spouse during that time period that you wasted living with someone you're not compatible with all right here's another reason you are setting yourself up for financial failure right now you're splitting everything down the middle lease groceries water bill gas bill vet bill his car payment is his issue her student loan is her issue my money is my money and his money is his money this setup is creating the foundation for your marriage when you get married you become one her student loan is my student loan his car payment is my car payment this is our lease we pay the bills we buy the groceries his paycheck is my paycheck and my paycheck is his paycheck and yes this will in fact come up when you are married remember folks the number one cause of divorce is finances you want to have a strong financial Foundation when going into marriage and last but not least it is displeasing to God you want God to bless your marriage and some of you you may say well Noah it's cheaper on my taxes because I can claim as an independent or well it's cheaper for my student loans because I'm a one income household you know what at the end of the day it's your life do what you want to do if you don't want God to bless your marriage then that's on you if you want to ignore red flags and waste years of your life that's your decision I'm just here to caution you not to make that mistake and ladies lastly if he calls you wifey do not be manipulated into thinking that this makes you a wife you are a girlfriend not a wife when you're married act like it if you're single act like it if you don't have a ring on your finger or a man who committed his life and vowed his love for you under God you're still single alright so to wrap this up I'm gonna share my opinions like I didn't just do that for the past 10 minutes don't have sex because it will blind you from a ton of red flags and if you're not sure how to refrain from sex until marriage go ahead and look at my last video where we we discuss saving yourself until marriage please just save yourself from wasted time and emotions and have God bless your marriage and if you are living together honey move out God will always give you a way out of Temptation I get it the economy is terrible I understand but God the creator of this universe is willing to give you a way out if you're willing to walk in line with his will for your life First Corinthians 10 13 no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to Mankind and God is faithful and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear but when you are tempted he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it as always let's end in prayer heavenly father thank you for this day Lord God I ask that you bring strength to my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ this day and age it's common to live together before marriage but we want to do your will not the world's will for our lives please help us to walk in line with what you want for us and please bless our marriages Lord Jesus whether we're currently married or single I ask that you watch the blood of Jesus over
