[Music] hallelujah hallelujah praise the Lord somebody hallelujah hallelujah you may have your seats for just a minute before we get into the word let me reiterate the women with the purpose will be tomorrow Amen in the children's church um area and the because we're having another service in here tomorrow night um we ask those ladies that you as you come in to park where our leaders Park on Sundays that gate will be open you can park in that back parking lot and once that's full we'll have men out there U that'll be helping you and making sure that everybody gets in place and that we're doing what we came to do for the ladies and that that is to Worship the Lord uh with your fellowship and then in here um there is a gospel showcase that will be taking place that's been here for the last several years now I think three or four years um uh Uncle G he's a friend of ours we met him through the music industry um it still won't record me but praise the Lord uh no but he um we we our hearted just be a blessing and so they'll be here tomorrow it's a showcase he basically just kind of showcase is those who are trying to be discovered and it's a great opportunity really for us to be praying because we find out in the gospel music industry uh Salvation is not required to put out a gospel song Amen and so sometimes I think we're caught off guard because we expect saved people singing gospel music um and so that you don't get too shocked and amazed when non-believers are making money singing gospel because really unfortunately many people whatever you do whether singing preaching dancing standing on the corner clocking in asking for extra is because people are trying to find ways to make money amen and so but our heart is to be praying for those young people many of them um thinking this is their route and perhaps it is we don't know but I do know everybody needs Jesus so uh we encourage you to be praying for them but of course feel free to come out it's it's free of charge it's not it's not uh like that you know the I think the Stellar Awards are here this week and usually when there the awards are in town they have all that stuff going on all over town somebody will be somewhere amen so more the reason for us to be praying this many people calling on the name of the Lord in our city at one time we ought to see some glimmer of a light amen Hallelujah and so we want to be praying uh for that and then we are glad to be home it is uh we had a wonderful time of relaxation praise God um and we thank God for the bible teach us that that there is it is a necessity that we get away the scripture says that the enemy uh in the Book of Daniel said the Prince of Persia fought against the Saints and he and he was winning he wore them out so his victory was in getting them to never take a break so even with Elijah the prophet God told him to go hide yourself and then there was a time he said now go show yourself and many of Believers are leaving this Earth prematurely because we don't know how to hide uh we don't know how to hide you'll you'll take a day off but the day really is not a day off it's just remote work you know what I mean you don't go out but you still take everything in so you're not breaking you're just switching where you're working and and it's not good it's just not good amen and I always say now if you got to take a day if you can't afford to take a day off that you would have gotten paid then pray about not taking Sunday off yes sir CU if I can't afford to take the Friday or the Monday with it I'm not really prepared to take the Sunday so just come on to church am amen amen y'all still here y'all I think I lost you already but it's okay it's okay it's good to be home I do want to say uh well thank you and we've had a busy month thank God for eldris uh Hill last week last Wednesday night as well as eldis tresa this past Sunday um I was just grateful that we had a full house we always thank God that people come to church you know we used to have the pastor wouldn't say he was leaving because people came to see people instead of coming to see God and so it is important that we come to see God that's what Jesus said who did you come out here to see when you went out there to see John the Baptist what were you doing were you just a part of the Curious Church crowd that went to find out what the noise was or were you actually seeking to be changed and so I thank God that we pastor of people that seek to be changed amen hallelujah well let's go ahead get ready to get in the word you can stand to your feet change y'all can be uh re re um excused and I am so thankful and grateful for change I'm looking forward to God uh taking that even to a another level as the young people get older yes sir one thing I don't want Church to be for our young people what school is for so many of us and that's just what we did for 12 years y'all still here and then our young folk grow up and they have the testimonies I used to I don't want I I we ought to be parent um especially you parent that still has children my my testimony my prayer ought to be that my children won't have a used to be testimony are y'all understanding I I have a used to be testimony cuz I grew up in church but I used to be an alcoholic which means Church didn't do it because I was in church but but I I didn't get in Christ I just believe if we would teach our children to get in Christ they won't have a used to testimony you understand and the reason I can say that because when I got in Christ I no longer have a but I did this I got in Christ but I fell I got in Christ but I walked away I came none of that I got in Christ I got comfor able in Christ and I've been chilling in christall ever since amen and I just believe that we can raise a generation of people uh that would say me too amen it's amazing I'm G get in the word and just a say I know y'all standing don't worry about it we've been standing too it's okay but I'm just saying it's amazing if you were a Rancher and you grew up on a farm your child doesn't adapt or walk around the farm in Chucks there's just everybody got on boots he don't he don't he don't decide whether or not he's going to have an accent he he he just talks like that he he walks like that he he he is actually he he has this relationship with the animals all because this is what I was raised in Hallelujah you don't see too many Cowboys running away to get to the city that's true but church kids now I'm G tell you why and that's not my message so I'll get that out since y'all standing that way if you don't stand anymore I believe the reason so many of our young people soon as they're old enough leave church is because at home there is no semblance of church anyway at home is home church is church and there's a very distinct difference between the two so as soon as I'm old enough I'm going choose the the the path of least resistance which is really the harder Choice are y'all here let me give you the script scripture amen I are y'all all right though sir amen school's about to start back kids in school more now than ever and dumber than ever been it's the truth I'm not I'm not I mean it's no offense to the child I mean we have them in class more than we've ever had them ever and yet most of them don't know to write a check if you if if the computer crashed we'd have to shut the town down because we don't know how to hand write a letter you understand that's that's that's what I'm saying and the parent we've gotten comfortable letting people who don't care about our children raise them and I'm just just a challenge amen amen that's my that's my that's my spill on that let me get to the word before people start logging off y'all stay there I got a word for you amen John chapter 10 John chapter 10 praise God this is so important to me because I'm I'm really I don't know about you but it Grieves the heart of God and it definitely Grieves me uh when I see people with this this church life and no conviction Church Life and no relationship argue more about the Bible than anything else and yet and still you want me to believe that you and I are headed to the same heaven and we need to get to the place not not out of offense or out out of arrogance or Pride but out of love we need to check and challenge one another a little more often about our Behavior because I'm concerned our behavior and according to scripture a lot of what we do according to scripture is disqualifying us from making it in yes sir and I know you said but I already confessed Christ I didn't say you didn't confess him the whole time I was drinking people say you're alcoholic you know what my confession was no I'm not you'll get it you'll get it I was lying for four years I was but I confessed I wasn't there's a whole lot of people confessing they're saved and I was helping them because y'all wasn't getting John chapter 10 verse 7 welcome thank you welcome home amen John chapter 10 verse 7 are you there it says then said Jesus unto them again verily verily I say unto you I am the door of the sheep all that ever came before me are thieves and robbers but the the Sheep did not hear them number verse n says I am the door by me if any man enter in he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture the thief say the thief the thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy I am come that ye might have life life and that you might have it more abundantly you may have your seats in the presence of our life-changing King father we do bless you and thank you tonight for your word and we pray as always that it will go forth with power with Clarity and with understanding we thank you Father that your word is true and we ask you now that you would Minister that true word to us and that it would fall on good ground hearts that have been prepared to receive what you have for us tonight then we will do our part and receive in it God by allowing it to take deep root in us and bring forth fruit that will glorify you and you alone and for that as always we do give you all the praise the glory and the honor in jesus' name amen amen praise God well here we are again we've been talking about the I AMS the seven I AMS of Jesus that are enumerated in the Book of John the seven I AMS and and we've been the last time I was with you we were talking about the what we would say the third I am which is I am the door right I am the door we've already covered uh the fact Jesus said I am the bread of life and then he he went on to say that I am the light of the world now he says I am the door and so what we talked about thus far so that I don't go and reiterate all of this we've talked about each one of these I AMS have these these particular points in common there is a cause there is the claim then the challenge the consent and then finally the conflict it's amazing in this walk of Christ there will always be the conflict and the conflict like all of the rest are are going to also have with it choices amen and so tonight we talked about the cause already we talked about the um the claim where Jesus said I am and then the challenge came from the Pharisees basically uh trying to get him to prove what he said but then we finished I believe last time I was with you with the consent which is where Jesus now makes the invitation to us if we believe he is who he said he is then do you consent to that do you agree and and here's where we'll pick it up tonight dealing with this last part or this this last uh Point uh which is the conflict the conflict you see what what could possibly be the conflict with Jesus saying I am the door he here is where it gets a little tricky because when we look at John chapter 10 verse number nine Jesus says I am the door right and here's the consent If any man enter in so the consent he says by me if any man enter in and he shall be saved right and then and All Shall go in and out and find pasture that's the consent then we understand with that came the that he tells us how the thief comes but for to steal kill and destroy but he said I am come that you would have life have it more abundantly right and when we talked about the Abundant Life what is that that's living in the the the Zoey life or living on the right side of the Kama it's it's choosing to receive all that he has for me amen but then if you go back to John chapter 9 because remember um when we dealt with the cause we had to go back to the previous chapter to find out why would he say I am the door in the first place and we discovered this statement came out of the fact that there was this man born blind remember and the disciples asked the question who did send him or his parents that he was born this way Jesus told him told them neither the parents nor the man sinned he was born this way but and here's what he says that I may do the works rather that the father may be glorified but then he says I must do the works of him that sent me and he makes a statement that if you weren't careful it go right by you he said while be I must do the works of him that sent me while it is day night cometh when no man can work well that just confirms again who he already said he was the the light of the world so while I'm here it's the only way way or the time to do the work you understand but now they go on Jesus heals the man right he heals him the Bible tells us and again remember as a matter of fact John chapter n let's just go there look at verse number eight John chapter 9 ver8 because the man he was born blind he didn't go blind right um like like some of our uh the the great mtown uh record record uh uh recording artist that's the word Stevie Wonder right he he went blind he wasn't born blind Ray Charles wasn't born blind they they lost their sight early but they at least could see at one time or another this man never saw he was born blind you got that now the reason this this is significant is because no matter when anyone that knew him encountered him they encountered the blind man you understand likely now I'm sure and you know I don't know these people nor did I know him personally so more than likely just by law of of of reason if you will likely the the kids that played with Ray Charles are probably dead and gone right but there's somebody that remembered him when he could see I want you to get this nobody ever saw this man seeing okay right I need to drive that point home because sometimes we will belittle what God has done because the moment you share what he's done I take you back to before he did anything but remember when we used to run the streets though why we got to keep going there I told you I don't do that anymore so here's this man born blind here's the conflict I promise you the conflict now this is what's crazy notice what verse eight says John chapter 9 verse 8 the neighbors who the neighbors it's in your Bible the neighbors therefore and they which had which before had seen him that was blind said is not this he that sat and beged now you got to get this the neighbors who is that those are the friends here's the conflict the friends remember the old shita sir y'all still here yes sir so they said listen we grew up on the same street as him I'm telling you that I don't know what happened I don't know what's going on but isn't that the same person is that the same trest that used to be at skate night it look like I'm telling that's that ain't it can't be I'm telling you that's who it is I saw her on Facebook up there looked like she was actually preaching or something but it couldn't have been the trer I know and now what happens is because of my friendships I allow my friendship to bring censorship to what the Lord has done so I don't boldly testify because I don't want you I don't want to somehow be embarrassed by knowing as as being known as a preacher but I wasn't being embarrassed by being known as a thug there was no embarrassment to being known as alcoholic no embarrassment to being known as a Monger but now I'm embarrassed to say I'm a virgin the devil is a liar come on y'all and are we afraid to just boldly declare What the Lord Has Done because of our friends the neighbors said and who else said it they which had seen him these the ones that used to bully him and you put a dollar in his bag and they took it he couldn't tell they knew who he was he say it's not he that sat and begged ain't that him look at verse nine watch this and it says some said I love this I oh God I love the some said yeah that's her that's trust all right other said no that can't be her that ain't trust her CU I heard her sister join something so maybe that's her sister some said this is he others said no it just look like him he looked like dine but theine I know no that ain't him I love this but he said this is this is you want to settle the issue I dare you to start opening up your mouth and declaring who you say you are that's good this is why we get so stuck y I I don't I didn't expect to get I didn't expect to get too much but I thought it been a few more claps in there but that's okay don't clap now Don't Clap now because I was sharing this with somebody Pastor Jim here's the problem with multitude of friendships which group gets the real me cuz my bowling friends we talk bowling but I got a bowling friend that don't like my golfing friends one of my golfing friends so I never I make sure that I don't go to any function that my bowling buddy and my golfing buddy gonna be in the same room so I don't tell either one of them buddies about church L they both show up now I'm faced with a challenge which one am I going to be a friend to today y'all still here so what happens is and and I know I'm in the house so don't even look I know I'm in the house the shame is that I know I'm in the house come on now I have a friend that I know doesn't like a friend I have but I call both of them my friend which makes your ready me the hypocrite because one of them if not both of them cannot know my real testimony wait a second Pastor are you sure okay so if the just using bowling and golfin to keep it safe I don't want to mess with y'all because you know we got we got gangs in the church you got the Usher gang the greedy gang you know who you rolling with I'm roll with hospitality y'all y'all still here and and so depending on how you look at Hospitality the whole Hospitality Group come up on you like we heard your usher was tripping you know y'all laughing this foolishness goes on in the house of God all because no one will boldly say no that's me oh that's good he said I don't want y'all leaving here confused so my bowling buddy and my golfing buddy when I went my bowling buddy because he don't like the golfing buddy what is he doing one of two things he's either talking about the golfing buddy or trying to talk me out of being a friend with but I still call him my friend so I'm the hypocrite how can you say that because the Bible says if you have art with your brother so every time I see my golfing buddy the moment he mentioned my bowling buddy I need to call my bowling buddy and say hold on my golfing buddy got got art with you right y'all clapping cuz y'all ain't going to do that that's okay though and the reason I don't get bothered I know we don't because we find ourselves don't I just don't want to don't put my name in it well you put your friendship in it though yeah I know so and so I I'm telling you this is what kind of made me weird or strange or my mom called me peculiar this is what made me all of that immediately cuz when I got saved com see to me I don't understand again common sense to me common sense is the Holy Ghost yes sir that's the way I've always that's the way I've all ever since I've been saved common it's the Holy Ghost it's just common sense common sense if I got a problem with my loin cloth and the the problem increases when I drink something and go to a place where there're SC gly dressed women common sense don't drink and don't go there that's just too oh my God that's too easy you know what we say though but that's why my friends going away party at you know why so you get on the phone and tell your friend go on way I will not be there to bid you farewell but we go why that's my friend what was I supposed to do y'all ready at the party you look around your friend didn't invite your friend so your friend over here says man did you hear I went BR I'mma just tell you I did go but I now I'm about I can't see the water Pastor I just can't okay well keep the mud on your eyes then so watch this notice what it says verse 16 therefore said some of the Pharisees this man is not of God because he keepeth not the SB come on y'all he can't be saved because he did it on the sabath day how in the world he a man of God and he breaking the Sabbath right so because he keepeth not the Sabbath others said how can a man that is a sinner do such Miracles and there was a division among them but watch this verse 17 they said unto the blind man again what now tell me one more time uh tell me again what happened and he said he is a they said what do you say about the man that did it and he said he is a prophet look Verse 18 but the Jews did not believe concerning him that he had been blind so listen I'm standing before you looking at you for the first time in my life I'm looking at you telling you I am he I'm the same guy that was asking arms last week that's me and they said this ain't him I don't care what you say that a Regina or they'll say this and I know I'm in the house again people will say stuff like this well you ain't the Lesly I know and instead of you saying to God be past and there are times I'm looking in the mirror and I'm disgusted because I can't believe that God did some of the things he did are y'all listening to me I told somebody listen there are things I've done Pastor Sheila will never know and it ain't not since we've been married but she'll never know be and thank God for the blood it's under the blood and what gets me is but shouldn't she she don't have what you mean she have a right to know where's that at they have a right to know I don't want to know what she did all I need to know is are you the one was blind yeah that's me so when Sheila saw me Sheila knew the old guy that old blind beggar the and I think y'all better hear me I'm so grateful she was blind too Hallelujah because if she could see while I was still blind she might not have become my wife but she was blind back then too so when we got saved and we we couldn't see anyway now we can now we got saved so we can see for the first time and you know you don't look that bad when you blind everything all you see is silhouettes y'all Stu this how you can tell when a man has yet to come into a true relationship with God and Let Jesus Lead the way you're still moved by his parents now this wasn't modern day foolishness where he had two dads or two moms so I don't want y'all to think this was an adopted situation this his mama and daddy shared listen he got DNA yes sir he couldn't tell up until today he actually looked like he was blind he didn't know before but the boy looked like y'all you can't deny Daniel your son is this your boy L they say we know uh that he's our son and we we we know he was born blind but verse 21 teach by what means he I don't know how you can see I don't know I ain't getting involved uhoh conflict friends ah now [Music] Family Tara my wife is she said is Sheila isn't I said it is she crying I ain't crying I'm like you don't understand God spoke I'm you don't realize how good I am so I knew I was a chunk cuz had I not been dating her she wouldn't have had those emotions she wouldn't even been crying like that you understand I don't know who she called can I tell my side my goodness anyway the second person I called was my mama listen to me I called mother poo I said Ma I used to call my mom ma ma she said I said M God show me my wife he did I said yeah she said that's nice I said okay I just m wow she's like okay all right you coming by lat yeah okay I see and that was it you know whatever but her phone start blowing up because the words start getting out and this is what my mama said I'll never forget it she she said he's of age I asked I said Mama tell him to call me why they keep calling you give him my number I'm a grown man she said he's of age cuz everybody was like how he well I thought he was supposed to marry the girl he was with at church all the time what happened what happened mother poo she said and I said M she said listen he's of AG you want his number nobody called me why am I saying that they
