today i'm gonna be ranking my favorite orthodox youtubers these people are doing a great job of spreading the gospel and the church and sticking up for orthodox christianity because i really do think the biggest problem with orthodoxy is just getting the message out is awareness i mean when i became a christian i was in the western paradigm oh it's protestant versus catholic but no there's orthodoxy and if i knew there was orthodoxy in the middle i wouldn't have wasted all the time being catholic i would have just became orthodox so just spreading awareness about orthodoxy and the great thing is is that all of these great orthodox writings are finally being translated from serbian russian greek into english so we have a duty as orthodox christians to spread the church and the online presence is so important that's like one of the only reasons i found out about orthodoxy because i was researching looking into traditional catholicism and then i just happened to follow some orthodox channels and then i they had good arguments and that led me to orthodoxy it's such a hidden gem in america but but it shouldn't be a hidden gem we have something beautiful we have something true we have unchanged ancient christianity now here are my rankings these are all the channels that help me the most in my journey and i think everyone should subscribe to all these channels now i might make a part two because there are a bunch of other channels but here we go so first we're going to start off with me you know i'm going to go ahead and put myself kyle in the seats here just because i don't know everything about orthodoxy you should refer to these people these are the experts on orthodoxy what i try and do on my channel is kind of compile all of their knowledge and into these short little videos i'm just repeating what they say and they're just repeating what the church fathers and saints say i just try you know like i'm a slow boy you gotta like make it you gotta dumb it down because all a lot of their videos are like three four hours long because orthodox like to go in very extreme detail for their scripture for the for the holy fathers or the ecumenical councils so me i'm just taking what they say and dumbing it down and making it easy to understand so next i thought i'd have something kind of unique this girl had a very unique video of how she came from paganism to orthodox christianity all about you it's all about the individual and utter positive freedom to do as thou wilt as the famous occultist alistair crowley has said anyways because i was an atheist i also got involved with leftism a bit not so much that i became a complete debaucherous degenerate but i did think of myself as a feminist and i think it's good to have some females and she is standing up for authentic femininity so if you have a if you're a girl if you know a girl who may be interested in orthodoxy however check out theodore i would give her probably probably an a tier for just standing up for traditional femininity her video on why she became orthodox christian is very good very based check it out next i love this channel this has to be an s series orthodox meme squad they the best orthodox debaters out there he stands up for orthodoxy he debates everyone it muslims atheists pagans catholics protestants and he always wins he has a transcendental argument for god he's funny he is probably one of the most interesting people because he talks about so many different niches but he always stands up for orthodox christianity he is a chad nerd he is just a orthodox nerd he knows his theology and his streams are really long which is why you should also subscribe to dire clips where it's basically all of jay dyer compiled into shorter clips more understandable but definitely subscribe to jay dyer and direclips and then one of jay's good friends is david and david really helped me on my journey so i'm going to give him i'm going to give him an a because he had a great video on why eastern catholicism refutes catholicism because it does these eastern catholics they don't recite the philly okay they want to remove they pretty much reject vatican one they reject vatican ii they're just like it's just about submitting to the pope they literally venerate gregory palmas my new chrismation saint so it just doesn't make any sense his videos really just help me like change my mindset and see that eastern catholicism contradicts rome and he has a great video on the filioque i would say he his niche is kind of uh theology he's he's a theologic theology nerd too he knows a lot about christology he'll get in the ring and debate uh oriental orthodox so if you're interested in that of why eastern orthodoxy instead of oriental definitely check out david and then next the one another person who really helped me on my journey was ubi petrus i'm gonna give him an s tier just because his videos are very very professional he does all his research and his expertise is catholicism versus orthodoxy he was a trad catholic and he really woke me up because he had a great debate on is the papacy biblical he had a great talk on all these uh forgeries that led to the great schism and just watch that video if you're catholic i think that's his focus is uh catholic to orthodox issues also the issue of um contraception and divorce he clarifies all these like hot button issues where the catholics bring up so if you're a catholic definitely watch jb petrus now one of my favorite and is peter years orthodox ethos this is a orthodox priest this is as orthodox as you get his presentations are amazing he has good little short clips he is just he is very articulate he's orthodox he watches long streams watch his short streams he does everything father peter hears is a great priest and i'm glad that he posts youtube videos and they're easy to understand he's talked about catholicism protestantism he's wrote books he is very good check him out and then next if you're a muslim if you want to debate against muslims check out orthodox shahadah i'm going to give him an a too it's good to understand all the world religions and it's going to make you a better apologist to understand all the world religions including islam and that's what orthodox jihad does he's an expert on islam and then next someone a little bit more popular i'm going to give jonathan pago an a he talks a lot about orthodoxy and symbolism and he's very he's very popular he talks to jordan peterson so i think he's good at just talking about orthodoxy and it's just good that we have just kind of we need we need to be mainstream we need to oh that guy's orthodox and i think jonathan pagoda does a very good job of that next we're going to do another great priest is father josiah trendman this is patricia nectar films that is his youtube channel father josiah truman is amazing especially if you're a protestant he has lots of great talks i love his talk on catholicism and what the church is but he also has this great book rock and sand very good if you're a protestant he was an ex-protestant so definitely check out josiah truman if you're just looking for he has good short videos too just good little homilies he has a great long speeches overall just a very good youtube channel next we have abbott treyfon who he's he's my favorite like he i'm gonna get i have to give him an ass every time i see one of his videos it just he really just gets the spirit of orthodoxy right just everything he he tells you exactly what you what what you need what you need to hear his his speeches they're in his joy like i want to meet him someday he is just such a joyful man and it's just he just gives off such saintly vibes and i and i really like him and then another um priest father spiden is really good i'm going to give him an a his talks are really good they just like they hit you you're like it's like it's like penance to watch it because you know he's gonna like kind of like grill you and just be honest with you so i i really like him his uh his youtube videos are just really relatable and good so next so this is this channel it's called insta verbum it's very good for clips channels but they stopped posting so i'm gonna have to give them a b just because they stopped posting but their videos are very helpful we need more clips channels we just need to spread the message of orthodoxy and that's it what this channel does so definitely check them out they're very very well made next we have orthodox christian theology i'm going to give them an a so i really like craig i think he does a good job um he has some very good presentations he does a lot of videos on a lot of different topics my only critique why i don't give him an s is because like sometimes i feel like he's too charitable to the catholic position like i don't think there you can there's any argument to be a catholic i think it's very clear that the orthodox teaching is the church of the first millennium but i craig is a great orthodox christian his videos are really good if you're catholic protestant whatever it is he makes short little films too it's really good next we have orthodox church i'm gonna have to give this an s just because it has these uh just these good videos like the anathema service like liturgy it's just like it's it's an orthodox church it's showing like what it means to be an orthodox christian so that's why i really appreciate them and next we have a sarah from hamilton i think also called cobain i'm gonna give him an a he's just another really good apologist like just like a a chad nerd who knows all the stuff about orthodox christianity definitely check them out and next another one person who really helped me you know patristic faith father deacon and ice i'm going to give him an ass just because he is very philosophically trained and bringing up epistemology he's a philosophy teacher so if you want to understand the philosophy behind orthodoxy you will never lose an argument he goes over he is very logical i mean he's literally a teacher of logic of epistemology of the talking about the transcendental argument for god father deacon ananias is uh just a really good apologist he's a really good um just example um of how to be an orthodox christian so i definitely recommend checking him out and then next is church of the eternal logos i'm gonna not give uh him an a i i really like him all his streams are super interesting he he covers literally everything and he covers like uh stuff that's in the news he i mean he's covered joe rogan's uh atheism in depth he he you pay him to do your homework but i mean the streams are free but he does your homework for you and explains it to you and he covers like psychedelics and he has great streams he just had a great one about paradigmatic thinking with jim bob and posh he has a lot of really good people on um just defending and talking about orthodox christianity and then lastly we have orthodox talks that's just um i haven't watched them that much but i've heard a lot of great things about them so i'm going to give them a b um but they're really good they are super in depth again a lot of these channels their videos are like four hours long three hours long because orthodox go into depth about their stuff and that's what i like about orthodox and that's what i try to do in my channel just compile all of that into an easy to understand message and then lastly we have orthodox wisdom and i know this channel has helped a lot of people it's a really good channel that it just gives you daily uh orthodox wisdom it's really good so i'm gonna i'll give them uh a b too but overall these are my favorite uh orthodox youtubers comment your favorite one below or your favorite one that i missed some honorable men mentions of like people like not they're not strictly like defending orthodoxy but they do a really good job um i've been i watched a stream of uh posh redneck and jim bob defending creationism super good watch that stream very good thinking about paramedic thinking i also like tristan hackard formerly primal edge health he's really funny i love seeing his videos with jay he brings the uh the food perspective on orthodoxy of like how our food supply is under a tag and he makes some really funny videos so yeah i like tristan and then another one is he's actually an inquirer into orthodoxy but his name is luke smith he's really good he's a really smart guy really into computers but he really knows uh you know like he talks about protestants it's the orthodox church with a bunch of editions that are just so hard to justify and make consistent because they're based on human reason they're based on adding true tradition they're based on this absurd doctrine that like the papacy is something that has a history in the early like the early church was secretly they secretly had a papacy they just never talked about it you know it was just just nuts you've asked me how i feel about the catholic church notice i haven't even said anything about vatican ii or pope francis or the fact that the modern day catholic church is literally just preaching heresy like catholics i love his live streams but overall these are my favorite orthodox youtubers if you subscribe to all these especially the s tier ones
