Forming Negative Sentences
Formula:
Subject + did not + Verb 1
or
Subject + to be (was/were) + not
Examples of Negative Sentences
I did not sleep well last night.
Ronnie did not come to the office yesterday.
Adi did not win the English debate competition last month.
Arif was not the smartest student in the class.
She did not complete her job.
Many kids did not like horror movies.
Dodi did not eat the vegetables.

Forming Interrogative Sentences
Formula:
Did + Subject + Verb 1
or
To be (was/were) + Subject
