Overview
Instructions were provided for creating a simple curse jar using easily available materials, focusing on personal effects and various painful or hazardous ingredients.
Materials and Preparation
- Use any jar; no special type required.
- Add the target's name, birthday, photograph, or DNA (including dirty clothing).
- DNA can be obtained from personal items worn by the target.
- Place the personal effect (name tag, clothing piece, etc.) inside the jar.
Ingredient Additions
- Pour in your own first morning urine; described as safe for this purpose.
- Vinegar can be added for cleansing effects.
- Add sharp objects such as broken glass, rusty nails or screws, barbed wire, or thorny vines.
Painful and Toxic Ingredients
- Include botanicals known for toxicity or pain: monk's hood, nightshade, datura, hemlock, and angel trumpet.
- Add chili peppers for extra pain-inducing effect.
Assembly and Sealing
- Wrap the jar with any binding material: string, twine, duct tape, ribbon, barbed wire, or rusty chicken wire.
- Optionally seal the jar with wax for added effect.
- To intensify, include hair from cats, dogs, or other sources.
Alternative Method: Poppet Use
- Sew the target’s identifying materials (name, birthday, picture, DNA tags) into a poppet (doll).
- Place the poppet into the jar before adding other ingredients.
