and you need some paper you already know what the format is like all right because I've got a diagram tonight that's gonna uh map this stuff out for you and I want to talk about honor and the reason why I want to talk about honor is because the reality is nothing in your life is going to work correctly without it and this is a generation that doesn't appre appreciate honor and this is why so many of your relationships are trash I'm just going to say it from the start many of your relationships are trash because there's no honor in your relationships oh my God and when you don't have the honor in your relationships that's romantic that's friendship that's family connections that's work relationships it doesn't matter when there's no honor you're not going to have solid relationships and many of you don't even realize that the missing and key ingredient to many of you having solid productive relationships and connections with others is this tiny but powerful word called honor and this generation doesn't understand honor we don't like honor because this is an entitled generation you think everybody owes you something you think everybody should be answering to you you think you don't have to answer to anybody else you think even things in this world in this universe should always bow down to you effortlessly with without you having to do anything on your own this is the most entitled spoiled delusional time we have ever lived in Period oh my God it is I had to meditate extra hard this week I'm gonna tell you because when I came back to work last week after taking two weeks off I literally I had people complaining I had a person email me on Christmas Day complaining that I did not respond to them on Christmas Day and a person email me on on the 24th asking about services and then email me again on the 25th with a long note saying that they didn't appreciate me not responding to them and their message on Christmas Eve you know why because this generation has no context of Honor you're spoiled you're entitled and you're delusional and you don't understand what honor is I'm gonna make it plain tonight and this is why many of you your relationships are two feet from hell because you treat your relationships the same way no concept of self-awareness you show up with demands on people in your life who either are not capable of meeting those demands or those demands are so unreasonable that you ought to be ashamed of asking for them in the first place thank you so much L for your support y'all support the show you know the rule I'll take it down absolutely no self-awareness and thus you have people who have no concept of what honor is so we going to deal with this tonight and it's going to be fun cuz I'm telling you right now from the start this is your first note record it put in your Journal put it in the chat you're going to be the smartest person at the water cooler tomorrow there is nothing in your life that will work correctly without honor nothing and until this generation doc what do you mean when you say this generation are you talking about young people are you breathing if you're breathing I'm talking to you this generation will never experience Healthy Living mentally emotionally and spiritually especially until it Embraces the impact and power of Honor this culture don't know what honor is we're gonna make it plain tonight I'm going to make it so simple that your three-year-old can get it all right so let's talk about honor let me give you a definition of Honor you know my definitions are custom all right so you're not gonna find this in the dictionary let me give you my custom definition of the word honor I want you to record this put this in the in your Journal you should have something to write with and put this in the chat area as well yeah I've been thinking about fan base um I've been thinking about fan base somebody was telling me to go to fan base and check out fan base and I think I'm GNA try that I heard you can migrate actually your followers too and videos and all of that stuff so yeah I appreciate that um P thank you so much and moderators remind me um of what P has me give you my definition of Honor I want you to write this in your Journal now put it in the chat my definition of honor is the intentional recognition and reverence of the value or worth of anything or anyone I'm to give you this definition again honor is the intentional recognition and reverence of the value or worth of anything or anyone my definition of honor is the intentional recognition and reverence of the value or worth of anything or anyone sounds complicated I'm going to break this down honor Define in a simple way thank you Mo lovable I appreciate you honor defined in a simple way is the intentional recognition and reverence of the value or worth of anything or anyone that's honor okay the intentional recognition and reverence of the value or worth of anything or anyone let's break this down when we look at this definition there are three things that honor always requires three things honor always requires if you want a package shoot me an email infoz third.com okay shoot me an email if you want a package some of you are saying you went out there you only see singles if you want a package shoot me an email and I'll I try to work that out for you okay honor requires three things number one intentionality this about to get ugly honor requires intentionality so anytime you are dealing with something or someone that is not showing you honor you are dealing with someone who is also not being intentional because you cannot do honor accidentally you don't accidentally honor people when you honor people and honor the connections you have with people or honor the connections you have on your job or honor the responsibilities you have at work or in your business honor is always intentional you don't just slip up and fall in honor it's intentional which means if your relationships and connections aren't yielding honor it's also not yielding intentionality oh my God so when people are not intentional with you they also don't honor you either because when we are intentional it requires three things this is about to get bad it requires three things number one you got to be mindful what does it mean to be mindful when it comes to be when it comes to being intentional about a person or a situ ation or a relationship or a connection or whatever you're giving honor to what does it mean to be mindful it means to do things for a clear clear clear intentional purpose so when people you're connected to are not showing up and showing you honor they're also not mindful of you and if a person is not mindful of you they don't care about you which is why all you people walking around here making these excuses for people who are halfway showing up for you are not only ignoring the fact that they're not honoring you you're ignoring the fact that they're not even being intentional about you d D just yeah now it's funny because I somebody as somebody's asking the question but doc what if they don't know I'm gonna get to that in a second I'm gonna get to that to in a second because there is a such a thing as people we're dealing with grown-ups unless there's some other type of mental or emotional challenge most people are very aware of what's going on so it typically boils down to two things either they don't want to be intentional or they don't have the capacity be to be content intentional I've been talking to a lot of people this week about capacity and many of you are wrecking your brain wondering why people don't honor you or are not intentional with you but some of you are trying to squeeze lemon juice out of apples they don't have the capacity they don't have the capacity it ain't a matter whether or not they want to some folks just can't some folks can't honor you because they can't honor you they don't have the capacity to honor you and you walk frustrated when with some people it ain't a matter of can they or will they it's a matter of can they they can now some of you that's not GNA be enough you know why because many of you live your life needing to have explanations to everything and God bless you Soul there is a level of healing where you don't need to know things like why we talked about this how when where why those are lowlevel low energy questions questions people walk around asking why and how and when and what where low energy because there is a level of healing where that stuff don't even matter either either something is or It Ain't So anybody that shows up in your life or any connection because honor ain't just about a person person let me be clear here honor is not just about a person honor is also about things too your job can honor you organizations you serve can honor you if they don't honor you they're making an intentional decision and that intentionality means they are making a mindful IE aware decision intentionality requires three things mindfulness or awareness in other words you ain't doing it accidentally so you're going to know you're in a healthy relationship when people are mindful of you what does it mean when someone is mindful of you when someone is mindful of you they are aware of who you are what you need what you desire what your values are Etc and some of us don't even realize that we have never experienced a healthy relationship because we wouldn't know mindfulness if it slapped Us in the face I appreciate you Naomi looking forward to having you volunteer as well are y'all listening some of you have never experienced mindfulness before so when healthiness shows up you don't even know what to do with it intentionality requires mindfulness and mindfulness means we are doing things out of awareness it ain't accidental which means you don't accidentally honor people you don't accidentally live with mindfulness of someone else's needs when you are doing that you are being very intentional so if people are not honoring you they're not being mindful of you number two talking about intentionality involving three things right honor requires three things I'm just on number one intentionality number one number two purpose y'all write this down hope y'all writing this down I'm moving intentionality requires purpose in other words it requires a reason some people don't honor you or anything connected to you because they don't feel like they have a reason to and guess what when you stay in situations where people don't honor you and you have not given them and you have given them reasons to honor you and they still don't honor you who's the real problem doc why you going so hard tonight cuz Valentine's Day is coming up and some of y'all gonna make some dumb decisions just to have somebody just to be under somebody who doesn't even really honor you when people honor you they're intentional when they're intentional they do things with a purpose in mind which means they are Forward Thinking I like this because what's so funny about this if I'm just if I'm just being really honest what is really so funny about this is that in this space it is always interesting to hear people try to justify the connections they have in their life that have no honor that they choose to stay in and I always ask them well hey have you given people a reason to honor you yes doc I have then if you've given people a reason to honor you and they have not reciprocated that reason who's the problem and I'm going talk a little bit about this a little bit more because there's some reasons why y'all still continue Contin to do this and one of those reasons is that y'all busy handing out lifetime achievement awards instead of evaluating people for who they are oh my God and I know y'all didn't like my video today that's why many of y'all didn't like it and watch it some of y'all still evaluating People based on potential you potential vultures oh doc they got the ability to do something I believe in potential I think potential is a great thing potential ain't all of the equation and many of you are passing out lifetime achievement awards in the name of things like history baby mama baby daddy family etc etc etc and it's delusion at its finest when you have given people a reason to honor you and they don't honor you and you choose to stay and put up with the dishonor they're not the problem you are and I'm even talking about friendships too you know what Doc is learning if doc can just be completely transparent you know what Doc is learning in this season of his life even when it comes down to friendships folks I thought was my friends nah honor is a two-way street I need everybody to put that in the comments in all capital letters honor is a two-way street that's for all of you that got all of these one-sided friendships because this thing hit me like a sack of bricks dog on it when you experiencing success and things are opening up for you sometimes you expect to hear from the people you honor that you respect and it be the very people that you show respect and honor that don't reciprocate it so then you're forced to ask yourself a question do I continue to wait on honor from people that don't reciprocate or do I throw that honor that they used to give in the trash and just allow people that appreciate me for me to appreciate them in return because I don't care how long the Friendship has been if people are not reciprocating honor it ain't real honor oh my god when people don't reciprocate honor it's not real honor and I'm GNA take it a step further if a person claims to be your friend cuz this ain't always about relationships if a person claims to be your friend but they never honor you which means they ain't intentional with you they don't they don't respect they're not mindful when it comes to you they're not aware when it comes to you they don't operate with a purpose when it comes to you they ain't your friend either and some of y'all ain't gonna figure this out until you start growing and changing because let me tell you something growth success we think it changes us no no no no no no no no growth success just cuts on the light to who you are it either promotes or it reveals but what growth and success really does is it shines the light on the people around you doc man was it was like somebody walked up and hit Doc in the stomach at a real good friend of mine a tried and true friend of mine she called and and she said look du like you know have you heard from she start rattling off names have you heard from such such such such I said no then she reminded me didn't you do this didn't you support you y why a't you heard from them cuz they don't honor me don't that bother you no I operate in self- Awareness I'm not going to call something that ain't is is it a thing yeah it's always a shock especially when you think people riding but you got to call a thing a thing not what you hoped it would be and when people don't honor you they don't like you oh my God can you just put that on your paper and as bigest day as you can if people don't honor you they don't like you either and I do better when I know what it is versus having to guess what it is are y'all listening to me share the video come on we're up to 250 to 150 175 we're up to about 600 followers let's let's get this up to a th tonight if people don't honor you they don't like you either that includes your family too because sometimes people think that because they're family they have a past to handle you and treat you any kind of way if family don't honor you your family don't like you either being kin to someone does not give you a license to treat people and handle people any kind of way thank you so much N I appreciate that is this making sense so no like some of us are looking for a sign we want God to jump out of heaven we want an angel to fall from the sky and give us a sign of whether or not people honor us and with us no look at how they treat you you can look at how people handle you and tell whether or not they honor you y'all don't make this complicated if people don't handle you with purpose and intentional reason they don't like you either oh my God here's the third thing I want you to remember about intentionality this the one that's going to hit all of y'all intentionality requires mindfulness purpose and effort e FF o r t effort this for all of you that's still making excuses for people that you've been around been connected to that's been the same for the last two five 10 20 years you've been dealing with them and you continue to make excuses for them and say that's just who they are that's just what they do that's just them and they ain't change they ain't make no effort to change at all they don't honor you that's why they ain't changing [Music] there's a whole lot of people that ain't making no effort for you because they don't like you D it's that simple why do you expect people to to to put in effort and to show action to let you know that they respect you and honor you when they don't like you intentionality requires effort so when a person says they being intentional you can't say you being intentional and you ain't doing nothing this for all of you that's been waiting for three years for folks to change I'mma get on that in a second I can't wait to get on that because I'm G cook y'all so bad this is for all of you that's been waiting two three years for folks to change and you thinking they going to change when I'm here to tell you you have given people an unlimited clock to use at their discretion and they have not align their words with their actions and you crazy for falling for it and you delusional too it's that simple and I'm not just talking about what they do for you but some of y'all say and I'm gonna get to that in a second too that's GNA really bust some of y'all's bubbles you know all of you especially you women that just feel like everybody should just be doing everything for you and you can just show up any kind of way and you men that feel the same who just feel like women should just do everything you tell them to do because you're the leader and all you got to do is just show up and meanwhile you expecting people to do for you and you ain't put in no effort to do for yourself you are the same person with the same attitude the same emotional control that we've had to deal with for the same 15 years and you have done nothing no type of effort or action to change who you are effort also includes fixing you and if I'm being honest fixing you is the greatest effort that you can give forget what other people doing for you and what they ain't doing for you what have you done for you that's why I challenge people look you gonna leave a relationship you gonna leave a situation that ain't serving you fine okay you got a right to do that if you're going to leave a situation or or a relationship or whatever that ain't serving you fine you have a right to do that but let me tell you something if you want to leave a situation ain't serving you and you want to leave it in peace before you leave make sure you look at your checklist and ask yourself have I done everything I can in this situation to be the best version of me because you can leave relationships friendships jobs whatever you can leave whatever you want to leave and have complete peace when you know you've done your part and some of y'all faking you walking around acting like you've done your part and you've left situations because you wanted to leave and you wanted to blame not realizing that your greatest action is how you work on [Music] yourself oh but y'all good at poting out what other folks don't do to you and for you how other folks ain't show showing up how other people aren't doing what they're supposed to do how other people aren't listening to you how other people aren't hearing you how other people aren't making you feel safe whatever these Buzz words y'all use all day things about personal accountability responsibility selfawareness now again you can end whatever you want to end and have complete peace when you know you've done your part but I'm telling you something when you know you ain't done your part and you in a situation and you really ain't done your part and you acting like you got peace you just being f F oh my God don't don't let Oprah don't let nobody else fool you you're being fake if you're not being honest about your role in any situation and how you showed up in any situation you being fake you can smile on social media you can post stories and that like you happy it's all fake it's all fake but I'm tell I've left I have left jobs I have Lord knows I've left jobs and Lord knows I have missed some of the people I've worked with but I've walked out that door in peace because I've never left a job worse than what it was before I got there that's called knowing you didn't just asked for effort you gave effort but this entitle generation right here just walking around wanting people to just do for you and that's because you're entitled and you don't understand intentionality so honor requires three things intentionality intentionality requires three things mindfulness purpose effort y'all with me y'all supporting the show second thing honor requires honor requires intentionality honor requires honesty here we go honesty you know why some of your relationships don't have honor because they ain't got honesty either anything or anyone you are connected to must operate in what I call the Integrity of self-awareness I want you to write down this phrase this is a concept I created just for you you called the Integrity of self-awareness good gracious this is this is going to be so salad worthy and listen the Integrity of self-awareness what is that it's the idea that everything and everyone in your life maintains a spoken and unspoken level of honesty the Integrity of self-awareness is this idea that anything and everyone in your life maintains a spoken and unspoken level of honesty which says if we're in any type of agreement at all that's a friendship Business Partnership relationship married whatever if we're in any type of connection at all we're going to operate in What's called the Integrity of self-awareness meaning we have this spoken and unspoken level of honesty that we maintain at all times which means I'm honest and I can be straightforward with you in a very verbal and conscious way when we not around each other we can expect one another to maintain the same level of honesty this is why many of y'all don't have no honor in your connections me many of you don't have no honor in your connections because many of you have never really truly connected with anybody who could maintain the Integrity of self-awareness Wess at all times I'm going say this some of y'all ain't going to like this but I'm G say it anyway somebody asked me this week it's a client said doc what do you think about having to check your partner's phone she's in a situation where her husband of seven years she's allowing me to share this because I'm going to be doing a story on this soon her husband of seven years they have had some infidelity in that relationship he's chosen to try to work it out she's chosen to try to work it out and one of their spoken rules is that she can do random phone checks and she said doc what do you think about that don't you think that helps to build the integrity and rebuild the Integrity of trust in our relationship I said I understand why people do it especially if if trust has been broken but checking the cell phone ain't gonna build no trust checking a cell phone is not going to create the Integrity of self-awareness which means an assurance that you honest in my face and behind my back back now I'm going say this about me my next person partner I hope she's my last one will have access to all of that stuff God knows where my phone rings sometimes I want somebody to answer my phone so I have no problem with that but if you with somebody you feel like you got to do it you probably with the wrong person if you're with someone and it's a requirement that you have to do it probably with the wrong person you know why because there's no Integrity of self-awareness there's no real belief that that person can operate in spoken and unspoken levels of honesty in front of your face and behind your back and I'm going tell you if you need to check it to create awareness you checking the wrong person you with the wrong person and a lot of you support this I've had Clips sent to me that show that many of you do because there are people that really support this hey give me your passwords great go ahead that's fine if that's what yall into but that creates no LEL of Integrity of self- awareness whatsoever in this business I've run across professional cheaters what's a professional cheater I'm talking about good they have in they have names in their phones for people different names codes y'all there's levels to this stuff even to treat cheating there's levels and if you think a cell phone password is gonna create Integrity you s and Coach sis D you sending coach so we're GNA have to come up a little bit here which means when there is this Integrity of self-awareness between two people you know things like check-ins Wellness checks those things are minimal because people we trust people to do what's right we trust people to do what's right right I'm talking about healthy connections healthy relationship and not just relationships friendships listen I have people that I've been friends with that I have talked to maybe once a year maybe once every two years listen to me hear me seriously once a year once every two years something like that but because the relationships are so healthy and there's this un this spoken and unspoken Integrity of self-awareness in our friendship if I never hear from them I don't assume the worst if they don't ever check in and check on me I don't assume the worst because when there's healthy a healthy level of Integrity of self-awareness between two people you don't have to be checked on every day this is how I know many of you need to stay in coach with your relationships and friendships many of y'all think you want it's just not going to happen B I'm talking about those of you that are that are in that are seriously busy for real okay I'm talking about those of you that are seriously busy for real everybody that's claiming they busy ain't busy there's levels y'all to this there's levels to it and many of you think you want highle friendships with people that are successful that have all these great things going for them and all of this stuff until you realize you ain't gonna always be able to you'll have them on speed dial but every time you call they ain't gonna always be able to [Music] answer when you are dealing with folks that are on that level for real I ain't talking about these folk that's telling you they busy but they really just telling you that because they don't want to tell you that they don't want to talk to you I'm not talking about them oh my God I'm talking about people that's busy for real when you when I think about my mentors and people in my life that that I look at that I'm connected to as mentors that are way busier than even I am and I don't even imagine how they just deal with their
