provision and favor are divinely linked
together. Can I get an amen? Amen. The
favor of God. The favor of God will enable you to have the
world's best not have to pay the world's price. Hallelujah.
Amen. Supernatural provision. (Music) JERRY: You know if
you've been around me or this ministry
very long, you know that my favorite subject is
the favor of God. And that's one of the things that God
specifically said to me when I first went into ministry, is
that I'm going to cause you to walk in my favor at a very high
level, and I'm going to hold you responsible for teaching others
how to do it. And they said, then there'll come a day that
your name will be known around the world for the favor of
God that's on your life and ministry. Now, that didn't
happen immediately, but over a period of time, that's exactly
what's happened. And so I like to use this illustration, you
can't separate Kenneth Hagin from faith because that's what
God told him to do when He raised him from a deathbed. He
said, teach my people faith. So that's what he did, the entirety
of his ministry. You think of Kenneth Hagin, you think of
faith. Oral Roberts healing and miracles. God raised him up and
told him, take healing to your generation. So they're
inseparable. I call faith Kenneth Hagin's signature
message. Healing and miracles was Oral Robert's signature
message. When I think of Kenneth Copeland, I don't know any other
person on the planet in our generation that's taught more
about God's laws of prosperity than Kenneth Copeland, and
that's what I consider to be his signature message, even though
he preaches other things. But that's what God called him to
do, is teach the body of Christ how to get into God's economic
system. Amen. Well, my signature message has been favor and I've
preached all over the world. I've written more books and
produced more resources on the subject of favor that I believe
any other minister of our generation has done. So that's
my message. It's what I do. Hallelujah. So you're going to
hear about favor today. It has everything to do with
supernatural provision. Alright? So look at Exodus chapter 3.
While the people were in Egypt, the children of Israel were
in Egypt, they suffered at the hands of the Egyptians, and
now it's time for them to be delivered and listen to what
God said in verse 21, and I will give this people favor. Say it
with me. I will give this people favor. Say it again. I will give
this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians and it shall
come to pass that when ye shall go, ye shall not go empty.
So notice favor was directly connected to the supernatural
provision. That's how they experienced it. God gave them
favor. The Amplified Bible says You will not go out empty
handed. The Message Translation says, I'll intervene and hit
Egypt where it hurts. Oh, my miracles will send them reeling
after which they'll be glad to send you off. I'll see to it
that this people gets a hardy sendoff by the Egyptians and
when you leave, you will not leave empty handed. Oh yes,
you'll clean them out. Amen. And how did that happen? Favor.
Favor. In fact, you remember that He told them in Exodus
chapter 11 and verse 3, and the Lord gave the people favor in
the sight of the Egyptians. He did exactly what He told 'em
they would do, He would do for them. He gave them favor. And
then Exodus chapter 12, verse 36 says, and the Lord gave the
people favor in the sight of the Egyptians so that they lent
unto them such things as they required and they spoiled the
Egyptians. Remember, God's instructions were go to the
Egyptians who had been their taskmaster and tell them to give
you their silver and gold. Can you imagine that? The guy that
has been brutal to you and you go knock on his door and said,
God sent me and told me that you're to give me your gold and
silver. And can you just imagine the Egyptian say, well, okay,
sure, I'll go get it right away?Just 24 hours earlier, they
were slaves to them. Now they're giving them their gold and
silver. And I'm probably hearing them saying in their thinking, I
don't know why I'm doing this. I love it when people say that
because I know I'm about to experience favor. When your
boss says, I don't know why I'm giving you this raise, just
smile real big and say, I'm about to experience some favor.
Hallelujah. I don't know why I'm giving you this job. You don't
qualify. Just smile and say, woo, I'm about to experience
some favor again. Amen. So notice here, they lent them such
things as they required and they spoiled the Egyptians. And
notice once again, it says they were given everything they
required. That's supernatural provision. Supernatural
provision. That's what favor can do. And I like what the Message
Translation says here, they pick those Egyptians clean.
Supernatural provision, and once again, favor produced it. Amen.
So we qualify for that same favor. In fact, we have a better
covenant founded upon better promises. And if God gave them
favor, then praise God. What would He do for people with
a better covenant founded on better promises? I like to say
it this way. Abraham was blessed and favored, but under the new
covenant, Jerry is extremely blessed and highly favored.
That's another level. Praise God. Amen. Say it
that way. I'm blessed. CONGREGATION: I'm blessed. JERRY: Now say
Abraham was blessed. CONGREGATION:
Abraham was blessed. JERRY: And favored.
CONGREGATION: And favored. JERRY: But I'm
extremely blessed and highly favored and
give the Lord a good shout for it. Praise God. Amen. Now,
let's look at another example of what the favor of
God can do, where supernatural provision is concerned. Go with
me to Psalm 44, Psalm 44, I'd like to say about favor and use
that old American express ad. Don't leave home without
it. Don't leave home without decreeing the favor of God. Now
in Psalm 44, verse 3, it says, for they got not the land in
possession by their own sword. Now put in there what you're
believing for. If it's not land, put where land is what you're
believing for. Say they got not the building, they got not the
vehicle. If you're in need of an airplane, they got not the
airplane. That's what I do. They got not the land in possession
by their own sword. Neither did their own arm save them, but thy
right hand and thine arm and the light of thy countenance because
thou hath a favor unto them. So notice they didn't get this land
by their own ability. It wasn't because they were such mighty
swordsman. No, it says they got it because God was favorable
toward them. Amen. Supernatural provision and favor are divinely
linked together. Can I get an amen? Amen. The favor of God.
The favor of God will enable you to have the world's best not
have to pay the world's price. Hallelujah. Amen. Supernatural
provision, the Amplified says you were favorable toward them.
And the Message says, and it was a gift. The favor of God is a
gift. Hallelujah. A precious gift and don't leave home
without it. So God drove out the former inhabitants and gave
His people the land for their possession. Now, when Carolyn
and I first bought property out here, we started with five acres
and had an old house on it, a wood frame house that was built
in 1946, I believe. And the man that owned it, his name was
George Lemon, he built it and he owned it and he'd raised his
family there. And Carolyn and her mother came out here looking
for us some land and saw him out there with his tiller getting
in the soil ready to plant his garden. And they stopped and
asked him if that land was for sale. And he said, well, I
really hadn't thought about it, but we will consider it. And so
anyway, when I got back in town, Carolyn said, let's go out there
and let me show you this piece of property I'm looking at. He
told us, then said, mama and I have been talking about it. And
we decided he was about 80 years old at the time and said, we are
getting old and we don't really need this much property anymore.
So yes, we'll sell it to you. I asked him what he would take for
it, he told me. And so we shook hands and then I had to go off
on another trip and when I came back, I was going to ask him
about drawing up a contract if he had an attorney or whatever.
And so I came back and he said, well, young fellow, I've changed
my mind. I said, you changed your mind? He said, yes, we
decided not to sell. Now I knew he would understand this. And I
said to him, I said, sir, I was raised by my grandfather and my
father that when a man shakes hands and agrees on something,
you don't need an attorney. That's a contract. That's your
word, that's your bond. He just ducked his head. You said,
you're right, young fellow. That's the way I was raised. So
I'll sell it to you. And so we drew up the contract and bought
the little five acres in the old house. And then the Lord, once
we got it in our possession, the Lord said, now start believing
for all the land you can get your hands on out here and so
that's what we focused on. And so right across the road from
us was 102 acres. So I had some cattle and I had some horses and
when I'd come home, I'd get on my horse and I'd ride it on that
102 acres across the road. It wasn't fenced, it didn't say
keep out, it wasn't posted and I didn't know who owned it, so
I just enjoyed riding my horse over there. One day I came home
or one day riding my horse. I noticed there was a car parked
out there in front of that property and this man was
standing up against it with his arm flinged up like this. And
when I rode up to him, he said, what are you doing on my
property? I said, well, I'm just riding my horse. He said, don't
be on my property. I said, well, it's not posted. It doesn't have
a fence. I didn't think anybody would mind if I just ride my
horse on it. I don't want you on my property ever again. You
understand? I don't want you on my property. Then he got in his
car and drove off. Now he didn't hear me say this, but I said, as
he drove off, old man, you don't know who you're talking to. If
you don't be a little nicer to me, I'll wind up owning all this
land. And I did and it was the favor of God. Now it had been
sold three times and the Lord had told me if I'd just be
patient, that he'd give me all that land I wanted and pay
whatever I wanted to pay for it. And it was sold out from under
me three different times. And every one of 'em went bankrupt.
And finally the RTCA government agency repossessed it. And then
they called our office. Now Jesse and Kathy and Carol and I
were up in New York City having a couple of days off and then we
were going to Philadelphia for our Catch the Spirit Meeting,
and I got a call while we were up there and from my office and
said the RTCA government agency called and said, tell Mr.
Savelle to make an offer on this property. We don't want it. We
want money, we don't want the land. And said, tell him there's
a $1.3 million lien against it. So his offer has to be far
greater than that 102 acres just non developed land, just pasture
land. So they're expecting me to make an offer of more than a 1.3
million. And so I remember what the Lord said. He said, if
you'll be patient, I will arrange for you to have all that
land you want and pay whatever you want to pay for it. So I
called my attorney Wayne Mathis, he'd been in my ministry for
years, and here he come to the Lord under my ministry and I
called Wayne. I said, Wayne, you remember what the Lord told me
about that land? He said, yes. I said, well, I don't want to
pay the 1.3 million that's sold against it because the Lord said
I could pay whatever I wanted to pay and have as much of that
land as I wanted. I said, Wayne, call them and tell them I will
give them $200,000 cash. I want the lien removed. I want a clear
title and I want the mineral rights. He said, I'll do it.
Wayne called them immediately and Wayne's opening remark was
this when he got somebody on the line, do you believe in
miracles? And the person who answered him said, no, we work
for the government. We don't see miracles up here. And he said,
well, my client does and I do, and here's his offer. There was
total silence. He said, are you still there? They said, that's
so ridiculous, we're not even going to present it to our
superiors. He said, no, your superiors told you to call Mr.
Savelle and ask him to make an offer. Here's his offer. I'll
expect you to report back to me before the day is up so I can
report back to him. They called him back a couple hours later
and their opening statement was, we now believe in miracles. And
they accepted my offer. They removed the lien, I gave them
200,000 cash. I got the clear title and I got the mineral
rights. Okay? Now that's exactly what this scripture says.
They got not the land in their possession by their own sword.
It was favor that got it, the favor of God. Hallelujah.
Not only that, remember God specifically told me, get the
mineral rights. You can't get mineral rights around here
anymore. They won't sell you land and give you the mineral
rights anymore. Why? Because they discovered natural gas
on that 102 acres. And I got royalty checks off of that.
That's the reason I was able to pay cash for that Falcon 50.
Praise God. Jerry got not the Falcon 50 by his own might or
his own arm, but because God was favorable unto him. See, I
depend on the favor of God for everything I do. I depend on the
favor of God for everything I do. Hallelujah. Praise God. So
take that as a nugget of truth. So whatever you're believing
for buildings, land, vehicles, homes, whatever it is, put it
in there and put your name in there. I got not that land or
building our vehicle or whatever it is you're believing for by my
own might, by my own intellect, by my own strength. I got it
because God was favorable to me. Can you say amen? Give the Lord
another shout of praise. Now, here's the only thing God asks,
when you experience supernatural provision. Deuteronomy chapter
8 verse 11 and verse 17, beware that thou forget, not the Lord,
thou God. Give Him all the credit for it. I said, give Him
all the credit for it. He said, beware that thou forget, not the
Lord thy God, and then verse 11 says, and say in thine heart, my
power and the might of my hand hath gotten this. No. God says,
don't say that and don't forget the Lord your God. As long as
you always acknowledge that it was the favor of God and the
blessing of God on your life, then praise God, supernatural
provision will never end in your life. It will be an ongoing
thing. Hallelujah. As long as God gets all the credit for it,
He'll do it time and time again. Is anyone in here tonight or
today that would say amen? Praise God. Alright, so if God
got it for you or if God got it for them, then He can get it for
you. Don't ever give up on the favor of God. I call it the
favor factor. Don't ever give up on the favor of God manifesting
in your life. Amen. Lemme give you this if you're believing
for land and property, anybody believing for land and property?
Okay, Psalm 21:1, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness
thereof. The Message Translation says God claims earth and
everything in it so it doesn't belong to the devil. I remember
I remember Oral Roberts in our home, he and Evelyn one time,
and I took him over to that 102 acres and it still had a barb
wire fence on it. And we stood right there across from the barb
wire and Brother Roberts took his Bible out with him and we're
standing there and I'm showing him this land. And he said,
Jerry, this is exactly what it looked like when I bought the
land to build ORU. He said, it's exactly what it looked like,
nothing but a field. Everybody thought I'd lost my mind telling
them that I'm going to build a university right here. Then he
accidentally dropped. Well, it turned out it wasn't an
accident. We thought it was at first he dropped his Bible over
the fence and it just fell open. And I reached under the barb
wire to get the Bible. When I picked it up, I said, Brother
Roberts, look at this. And he had it highlighted, Nehemiah
rise and build. That's where it fell. Open, rise and build. And
Brother Roberts said, this is where you'll build your new
campus. And we took that as a word from the Lord. Praise God.
And Brother Roberts said to me, he said, you know why real
estate is called real estate? It's because it's real. And he
says, and every time you get a title deed to a piece of
property that proves Satan doesn't own the planet, you
now have a title to part of it. Amen. Hallelujah. So the earth
is the Lord's and the fullness there in, the Message
Translation, God claims earth and everything in it. So it's
not the devil's, and we are his heirs. We have an inheritance,
we're entitled to it. Psalm one 15, verse 16, the heavens are
the Lords, but the earth he has given to the sons of men, it
belongs to us. Even if the sinners have a portion of
it, God's already intervened. Proverbs, the wealth of the
sinner has been laid up for the just and the Amplified Bible
says, and eventually it will come into their hands. Well, I
believe we're closer than we've ever been before to that place
called eventually. Amen. So once again, it doesn't belong to the
devil. The Earth is the Lord's and He has given it to the sons
of men. The Message Translation says, He has given us the earth
and put us in charge. You're in charge. Praise God. So if it
belongs to us, if we're in- God has put us in charge, then if
you need some of it to build on, then Psalm 44, I got not this
land by possession of the sword. I got not this land by the power
of my hand. I got this land because God was favorable unto
me. Don't ever, ever, ever rule out the favor of God.
Hallelujah. Amen. I like to say this, according to Deuteronomy
chapter 31 and 20, lemme see the hands of people believing for
land and buildings. I like to say this, I'm coming into my
land that flows with milk and honey. I'm flowing into my land
with milk and honey. I consider that to mean the best land,
the best buildings that meet my need. Amen. So in closing today,
I want us to just thank God for a few moments. Don't get in a
real big hurry, but just thank God that you qualify for His
favor. You qualify, you've been accepted by Him. Amen. You
qualify for the favor of God and the favor of God can do what
money can't do, what prestige can't do, what who you know

were out in California for two or three days and we turned home

of container that she could get from all of her neighbors. And
I want you to notice something very vitally important. When she
had all the containers and they were in her house, the Bible
says she closed the door. And behind closed doors is where
the oil began to multiply. Your provision for your life will be
multiplied behind those closed doors, in your intimate time
with God, you and God alone, you praising Him, you thanking Him,
you're standing in His presence. And I'm telling you, God will
supernaturally begin to provide for you. And as you see in
that story, when she came to a certain place, she turned to her
sons and said, is there another pot? Is there another pan? Is
there another vessel? They said to her, no mother, they're all
used. They're all full. And that little widow woman and her sons
had enough to live on until the famine was over. So God will
provide everything that you need in your life and He's proving
