so you want to take an AP class in high school but you're not sure which class you can handle while introducing the easiest AP class AP Computer Science principles or apcsp for short hi I'm part of the Mr AP team and I'm here to tell you about my AP Computer Science experience as I got a five in the course now at first glance you might think this AP is not for you if you don't like coding or computer science in general however this course simplifies these topics and ideas so well that there's almost no studying needed in the course let me explain at my school we were taught the coding language python which is a very easy coding language and so the work I had encoding was really easy to pick up and I was able to finish my projects really fast in fact I almost had zero homework outside the class so in the first semester we focus on learning the python and simple coding but in the second semester we started going over a lot of computer science terms in vocab because the AP exam consists of 70 multiple choice with these terms and also a mini project where you can show off your coding skills in any coding language I did review the terms a bit at the end of the year because the multiple choice exam is worth 70 of the total AP score honestly if you're just looking for a score of a three you could probably get away with just doing the classwork as for the coding project or the AP create task I was given two weeks of class time but I only needed one week to finish the project as it didn't really have too many requirements but you also have to explain your code which does take a minute overall the terms and Concepts in this course are very simple and easy to learn and you don't really need to do any work you're studying outside the course to get an Easy A in the class and free college credit let me know Down Below in the comments if you're taking apcsp this year and if you need any help because I'll be glad to assist you I also plan to post practice AP Computer Science questions on this channel throughout the school year on the Channel's Community posts so subscribe to make sure you get the necessary practice you need to get an easy five on your exam that's all for me see ya
