[Music] [Music] hey this is off the cuff and i'm steve from torahfamily.org today we're going to discuss the future event that many call the second exodus or what others have titled the greater exodus no for many hearing the words second exodus or greater exodus they only bring up the question what in the world are you talking about however for many others those words bring up firm opinions i've considered many different viewpoints on this topic from people who i truly respect however i have concerns they're overlooking and omitting important elements from their explanations like everyone else i believe the scriptures are to be interpreted in harmony with one another in all the research i've done it seems many different views of the second exodus completely omit the resurrection however according to isaiah the resurrection is the very first thing that happens in the course of end time events isaiah chapter 24 is all about an earthquake and judgment coming on the survivors of that earthquake please take some time and read isaiah chapter 24 through 26 and you'll see how they flow perfectly together after discussing the earthquake chapter 26 discusses the earth giving birth to her dead the resurrection so here we see the earth gives birth to her dead but then we see isaiah 66 says the birth happens before the birth pains let me repeat that the birth takes place before the birth pains the prophet even mentions how crazy it sounds but that's what will happen the birth the resurrection takes place right before the birth panes please see our teaching the birth pains for more on that i've heard some say that the people of yahweh aren't crying out today like they did in egypt so because of that they believe the end times aren't near yet however yeshua never said it will be like the days of egypt at the time of his coming he never said his people would be crying out because of harsh bondage at the time of his coming he said it will be like the days of noah a time when people aren't expecting it that's what it will be like at the first resurrection it will be like the days of noah when everything starts since the resurrection happens first when does the second exodus happen and who'll be in it well that's the purpose of this teaching so let me tell you the when and who then i'll do my best to explain it along with the why and how the second nexus takes place at the end of the tribulation after the battle of armageddon it will consist of all those who survived the tribulation under the antichrist namely the five foolish virgins the six churches in revelation who weren't promised protection like the church of philadelphia it will be those who needed to go through refinement so this is the when and the who now why do i believe this yeshua said he would cut the days short if he didn't no one would survive so that means there will be people survive the tribulation these are the survivors that the prophets talk about remember all seven churches of revelation were encouraged to overcome if you don't overcome the world and the one who was in it now you'll have to overcome him in the tribulation only those who have overcome sin in their lives by the time everything begins will be the first fruits of the elect in the first resurrection only they will escape what is about to happen the key is to overcome now before the tribulation starts thus we need to pray we escape all that is about to happen as yeshua said in luke 21 36 so it's not that those at the end of the tribulation won't be considered the elect they're just not considered the first fruits of the elect some struggle with the resurrection happening first but if there's to be a resurrection at the end of the tribulation why do we read it's cut short for the express purpose of saving the lives of the elect if they're going to be resurrected what would it matter if they die why cut things short to save them why would yeshua cut anything short to keep someone alive who is only going to be resurrected with a new body he specifically says he cuts it short for their survival again he cuts it short for their survival meaning so they don't die their mere fact of him using the terminology of survive or to be saved shows he's discussing the survivors of his people from the nations who will come back in the second exodus these are the survivors noted in the prophets mentioned in zechariah 14 16 mentioned in zephaniah 2 9 mentioned in joel chapter 2 verse 32 if he doesn't cut things short these survivors wouldn't make it they wouldn't survive so for their sake the days are cut short if there was a resurrection for these elect at the end of the tribulation it wouldn't matter they would simply be resurrected at the end but there's not a resurrection at the end of the tribulation there's a greater exodus the event where they journey to the land this greater exodus is referenced here in jeremiah 16 verses 14 and 15. however the days are coming declares yahweh when men will no longer say as surely as yahweh lives who brought the israelites up out of egypt but they will say as surely as yahweh lives who brought the israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them for i will restore them to the land i gave their forefathers this event will be so big and so great that it will trump the first exodus out of egypt it's also referenced in isaiah 66 19 and 20. i will set a sign among them and i will send some of those who survive to the nations to tarshish to the libyans in lydians famous as archers to tubal and greece and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory they will proclaim my glory among the nations and they will bring all your brothers from all the nations to my holy mountain in jerusalem as an offering to yahweh on horses and chariots and wagons and on mules and camels says yahweh they will bring them as the israelites bring their grain offerings to the temple of yahweh in ceremonially clean vessels notice how it's prophesied he will send some of those who survive to the nations to gather their brothers from the nations many might say this isn't the same event mentioned by yeshua in matthew 24 31 because yeshua said he would send his angels to gather them however we know the term angel simply means messenger so who better to spread the joyous message of freedom from the tribulation than those who were freed thus as prophesied through isaiah they will gather their brothers from the nations the interesting thing about the exodus is how the context of isaiah shows it's after armageddon has taken place as seen in verses 15 and 16. i don't believe there's any question regarding this being the time of armageddon these survivors in verse 19 are the ones noted as the rest of her offspring in revelation chapter 12. notice it says they're the rest of her offspring so if these are the rest who was the offspring first mentioned it was the child referenced in verse 5. these are those who will reign with yeshua they are those in the first resurrection they're noted as a son this is the same verbiage also referenced here in isaiah 66 before the second exodus later in that chapter a son is born and this son represents the children these are the first fruits of the elect this is expounded upon more in our teaching the church of philadelphia but the rest of our offspring will be those who have to go through the tribulation the five foolish virgins the other six churches of revelation this is discussed in greater detail in our teaching armageddon and the parasia now we've already read jeremiah 16 and isaiah 66 that discusses the second exodus but there are others jeremiah 23 i myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of the countries where i have driven them and i will bring them back to their pasture where they will be fruitful and increase in number i will place shepherds over them who will tend to them and they will no longer be afraid or terrified nor will any be missing declares yahweh the days are coming declares yahweh when i will raise up to david a righteous branch a king who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land in his days judah will be saved and israel will live in safety this is the name by which he will be called yahweh our righteousness so then the days are coming declares yahweh when people will no longer say as surely as yahweh lives who brought the israelites up out of egypt but they will say as surely as yahweh lives who brought the descendants of israel up out of the land of the north and out of the countries where he had banished them they will live in their own land please note verse 7 it's virtually saying the same things as jeremiah 16 did basically how the second exodus will overshadow the first exodus verse 4 through 6 is describing the millennium the time when yeshua reigns from jerusalem but please notice verse 3 it says i myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where i have driven them where i have driven them yahweh drives his people off to bondage then the second exodus is him bringing them back from that bondage just as he drove off judah to babylon but then led them back some other cool verses that discuss the second exodus is found in isaiah 11. it shows how this second exodus will be from all over isaiah 11 in that day the root of jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples that's speaking of yeshua the nations will rally to him and his place of rest will be glorious in that day the lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from assyria from lower egypt from upper egypt from cush from ilam from babylonia from hamath and from the islands of the sea he will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of israel he will assemble the scattered people of judah from the four quarters of the earth ephraim's jealousy will vanish and judah's enemies will be cut off ephraim will not be jealous of judah nor judah hostile toward ephraim they will swoop down on the slopes of felicia to the west together they will plunder the people to the east they will lay hands on edom and moab and the ammonites will be subject to them yahweh will dry up the gulf of the egyptian sea with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the euphrates river he will break it up into seven streams so that men can cross over in sandals there will be a highway for the remnant of his people that is left from assyria as there was for israel when they came up from egypt in that day you will say i will praise you o yahweh although you are angry with me your anger has turned away and you have comforted me surely god is my salvation i will trust and not be afraid yahweh yahweh is my strength and my song he has become my salvation regarding edom and moab in verse 14 please see our two teachings satan's greatest masquerade part 1 and part 2. yahweh brings them all back from the places he sent them off to but why would he drive them off because of rebellion because of rejecting his ways the tribulation is for the remnant of his people not the world remember history is cyclical as seen in ecclesiastes and isaiah just as yahweh banished his people before the time is coming when he will do so again like the prophets of old many today are calling for people to return to his ways the torah the instructions of yahweh however few have listened because his people are rejecting his ways again judgment is coming again as i've given before while history may not be identical it is cyclical first yahweh gives his truth next the people walk in it then the people rebel from it then yahweh sends his prophets preaching repentance then the majority harden their hearts and yahweh sins judgment then the remnant of the survivors repent and the cycle starts all over that's how it's been through history and here we are again his people are rebelling against his torah and ignoring what the prophets of today are saying that being come back to his ways so what's next judgment that judgment will be the time of the tribulation a time when banishment and slavery will happen again we'll cover more on that in a moment during the tribulation many will repent and start following the torah and we're told the enemy will pursue them but as the prophets declared there will be a remnant who survives it will be those survivors who journey to jerusalem for the second exodus but why will this exodus overshadow the firsts why do some call it a greater exodus it's because this time his people won't be coming from just one nation like before they'll be coming from all over the world from where they were banished but not only that isaiah 43 indicates they won't just be walking through water this time they'll also be walking through flames isaiah 43 but now this is what yahweh says he who created you o jacob he who formed you o israel fear not for i have redeemed you i have summoned you by name you are mine when you pass through the waters i will be with you and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you when you walk through the fire you will not be burned the flames will not set you ablaze the verses that follow show this is regarding the second exodus but they will truly be coming from the ends of the earth and they will be passing through water and flames no wonder this excess will overshadow the first i've seen where some use these verses in ezekiel 20 for the second exodus however these verses are for those who are actually part of the first resurrection just moments before the tribulation begins please see our teaching the church of philadelphia for more on these verses in ezekiel there are other verses that are often overlooked that apply to the second exodus they're found in the book of deuteronomy i'll highlight a few elements that imply they're discussing the days after the second exodus and pointing to the millennium deuteronomy chapter 30 and when all these things come upon you the blessing and the curse which i have set before you and you call them to mind among the nations where yahweh your god has driven you and return to yahweh your god you and your children and obey his voice in all that i command you today with all your heart and with all your soul then yahweh your god will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you and he will gather you again from the peoples where yahweh your god has scattered you if your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven from there yahweh your god will gather you and from there he will take you and yahweh your god will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed that you may possess it and he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your father's these verses are talking about something that hasn't happened yet it's prophecy regarding the future we are where we are today because we've chosen to be there there's been nothing preventing you from going to live somewhere else if you so chose to do so but a time is coming when the antichrist will be given authority to conquer the saints they will indeed be driven into captivity as slaves just as in the days when yahweh brought judgment on his people in the past it will be the time when yahweh drives his people into slavery just like he has before because of their rebellion these verses in deuteronomy are talking about the blessings that will flow in the millennial kingdom it's fulfilling the promise to abraham in bringing his descendants to the land and prospering them please see our teaching titled the eternal covenant for more on that a question often discussed is how long will the second exodus be or how long will it take we believe this is answered in numbers chapter nine the place where we see the provision of the second passover this was one year after the passover in egypt and the time when moses was setting up the tabernacle they had made over the previous year at the time of this passover some people became unclean because of touching a dead body they were asking moses why they had to miss out on passover for something they couldn't control so moses went to inquire of yahweh for them he came back with the answer and this is where we see the introduction of the second passover so anyone who was unclean because they had touched a dead body was provided with the second passover however yahweh also responded that this second passover was also for anyone on a long journey well why would he do this well if my theory is correct and the battle of armageddon truly takes place on the last day of sukkot that second passover will be needed at that time why because ezekiel 39 shows it will take seven months to clean up the land from all the dead bodies after the gog and magog war please know this gog is different from the one noted at the end of the millennium how because this one is given a burial place the one that rises in rebellion at the end of the millennium is burned up in the flames that devours all his army then after that will be the second resurrection so there will be no need for a burial so those in the land after armageddon will need the second passover since it will take them seven months after sukkot to clean the land plus since the survivors from all the nations will be on that second exodus during the time they're cleaning the land it seems this could very well be why yahweh added the element of those on a journey for the second passover so the second exodus could take as long as seven months for some at least for those who are the farthest away there's a mindset among many that they will escape the tribulation if they get out of the cities however there's no guarantee for that please consider jeremiah 14 if i go into the country i see those slain by the sword if i go into the city i see the ravages of famine both prophet and priest have gone to a land they know not ezekiel 7 15 outside is a sword inside are plague and famine those in the country will die by the sword and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague you can flee you can hide you can stay mobile and be constantly moving it doesn't matter it will be everywhere now while i totally understand the mindset for prepping with food water and firearms we have to remember that the majority of those preps if not all can and most likely will be lost at the opening earthquake of the end times to understand what i'm talking about again please see our teaching titled the birth pains so of those who have to go through the tribulation who will be those who survive and who will be those who don't well if and i say if this part of history is found to be cyclical we need to consider these verses jeremiah 21 9 whoever stays in the city will die by the sword famine or plague but whoever goes out and surrenders to the babylonians who are besieging you will live he will escape with his life jeremiah 38 2 this is what yahweh says whoever stays in the city will die by the sword famine or plague but whoever goes over to the babylonians will live he will escape with his life he will live and remember history is cyclical you see the second exodus begins from where yahweh has banished his people but if his people refuse to be banished in punishment then it seems he may not allow them to see the second exodus in the days of the babylonian invasion some tried fleeing south to egypt yahweh had this to say of them jeremiah 44 for i am watching over them for harm not for good the jews in egypt will perish by sword and famine until they are all destroyed those who escape the sword and return to the land of judah from egypt will be very few then the whole remnant of judah who come to live in egypt will know whose word will stand mine or theirs thus hebrews 10 31 it is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living god the days of the tribulation will be a terrible time in fact yeshua said there will never had been a time like it before it happens and there won't be a time like it afterwards i don't know about you but i can think of some pretty bad times throughout history that seems pretty bad and dark but they won't even compare to the tribulation if you've seen any of my teachings on the end times you know that i have concerns that there will be great deception regarding the antichrist setting up the ark of the covenant and the tabernacle to deceive we can't forget that yeshua said the end times would be about deception so much so that the elect could be deceived if that were possible that means the deception is going to look like the real thing so the coming of the lawless one is going to look like it fits with what the jews were expecting yeshua to do when he first came the jews were looking for a messiah who would conquer at that time of yeshua's first coming the antichrist will come as that savior please see our teaching the assyrian for more on this since the majority of the jews didn't accept yeshua then nor today at the season of passover it's very possible the antichrist will rise as their conqueror at the time of passover on the jewish calendar i wouldn't even be surprised if there were three days of darkness preceding it as in the ninth plague that happened in egypt it's believed judah had their holocaust at the hands of rebellious ephraim the next holocaust may be for ephraim at the hands of rebellious judah just as many rabbinical jews get mad when they see non-jewish people pursue the torah the enemy goes after anyone who pursues the torah and holds to the testimony of yeshua but even in the midst of this terrible time yahweh spares a remnant ezekiel 12 16 but i will spare a few of them from the sword famine and plague so that in the nations where they go they may acknowledge all their detestable practices then they will know that i am yahweh these are the survivors those he brings back after the tribulation these are the ones who will walk in the second exodus after their time of judgment the interesting thing about the end times is how we see the deliverance and the judgment of yahweh's people at the same time the blessing for the obedient and the curse for the disobedient all together it's overlapped in the end the obedient are taken in the first resurrection to be with yeshua for the marriage year of deuteronomy 24 5 as israel spent the year with yahweh out of egypt the disobedient go through the 42 months of judgment just as the rebels died while traveling through the 42 cities during the 40 years as noted in numbers 33. both the marriage year and the 42 months of judgment are cut short otherwise no one would survive as noted earlier some people believe the tribulation won't start until times are hard and people start crying out to yahweh as they did in egypt under pharaoh what they forget is that egypt was good to them until the end however what is forgotten by many is that the hebrews worshiped the gods of egypt during those good times thus they made yahweh jealous and angry this is why the slavery came they removed themselves from the blessings of yahweh this is given to us in ezekiel 23 it says they became prostitutes in egypt remember history is cyclical we know through the scriptures that yahweh put israel under oppression by their captors every time they rebelled then he'd always come to their aid when they repented only to have them rebel again later on but the point is when they rebelled he put them under oppression until they repented and again history is cyclical it just seems many overlooked this element regarding the oppression in egypt but just like with egypt it will be the same in the end times because of rebellion to yahweh he will hand the rebellious over to the antichrist just as he did with pharaoh an interesting thing about this time in egypt is that it's believed the tribe of levi wasn't in bondage this is why aaron moses brother was able to freely come out to meet moses they were both of the tribe of levi if this is true it's a perfect picture of what it will be like in the days of the tribulation yeshua will have his bride the church of philadelphia with him represented by the tribe of levi in the book of exodus and the rest will be in bondage under the antichrist represented by the rest of the tribes under pharaoh then just as moses came saying let my people go yeshua does the same in cutting the day short to save his people then pharaoh was defeated and an exodus took place out of egypt likewise yeshua will defeat the antichrist and there will be a greater exodus to the promised land take place as prophesied again pictures of biblical history all overlapping in the end times those who survive will partake in the second exodus so in all of this we have the who the when the where and the why of the second exodus and that's all i have think about it pray about it but more than anything be a doer of the word and not a hearer only until next time shalom [Music] [Music] you
