[Music] diversity 2 removing the ac compressor on this yukon denali 1500 um it really wasn't a problem it was just the two bolts on the bottom there was very limited space once you get them broken loose to even get them out and you're going to need some wrenches that that you can turn diversity 2 we are going to remove our ac compressor right there i have enough light on that gotta get those two lines off electrical connector well let's see yeah just electric coke and i'll do it right there and i'm going to approach this coming from my passenger side wheeled well got the tire off and got the splash guard off here well not off but i got it pushed to the side and that's going to give me either excess then coming from the top though i am going to take some stuff out the top to see just want to spin my compressor before i take it off the see if i can hear any noise that's why i'm going to do that but um this is going to be my edx that's coming from taking the pressure on my line it wasn't the green it's down i mean it was way up in the red but it's way down now diversity 2 we are going to remove our ac compressor right there have enough light on that gotta get those two lines off electrical connector well let's see yeah just electrical open up right there and i'm going to approach this coming from my passenger side wheel well i got the tire off and got the splash guard off here well not all but i got it pushed to the side and that's going to give me either excess then coming from the top though i am going to take some stuff out the top to see just want to spin my compressor before i take it off the see if i can hear any noise that's why i'm going to do that but um this is going to be my edx that's coming from diversity too my extension really helped um it's one half inch tension with the swivel on it i think i believe all of these came from harbor freight well not all of them some of the parts were given to me but this worked well when well i need to stick this down in there put that boat right there on the lines go to turn it and the other one i've got it from the side as you can see i got both my lines up here both of them will look to the side got both of those off now let's um get the compressor off then i can get the harness off the um the wire harness it's kind of hard to get off without it's not enough room so i'm loosing the compressor up and drop it and get that harness off [Applause] okay next under the all this rain we're going to get our new compressor back down up in there this is the only way i can get it out of straight up through here i tried to get it out from the bottom but there was no space so i ended up taking all this stuff off i didn't think i had to but here we go and my bottom of my my fan shroud or cover the other one right there wasn't a lot of room put it on there but my swivel worked out just right it's really tight up and over that so i was going to get the job done from the side and the top i just slid over to the back cause to get that out you got to take the fan off so i didn't think it was necessary so i just kind of slid it over to the left that big piece there and um [Applause] i'm ready to slide my new compressor into place and the problem i had yesterday was getting that rear bolt off the bottom that was facing um the motor but i was able to get a loose but it was just at the last moment it was just giving me problems i need to use some extensions to get this thing off but we're about ready to uh insert our new compressor straight down there got enough light going on okay let's go okay i'm back on the side of the vehicle got my splash scored out the way here and um my compressor is going right in there so i'm going to have to go and get it in lower it down and get into place and get my connector back on this on i had just unplugged one wire connector wire harness to that compressor the other one was on this line right here if you can see that didn't have to touch that one this one didn't have to touch but they are going to have to unplug so we're going to get this compressor right okay got a sticker don't let me know where to put my oil add oil here i'm going to take this one off and we're going to add oil when i first took this off a little pressure came out of there but they had to compress for shipping and already pre-measured my pecan [Music] in a container here just going to fill them up three ounces i'm just told to turn my clutch while i'm doing that okay i have my new compressor ready to go this is my old one took out yesterday and i um got my oil in my new one here i'm gonna leave these caps on when i get it installed this is going on delivery but i put my oil in there this morning three ounces someone ready to connect it i'll take that back off keep stopping falling down in there and i got two new o-rings for my connect my lines look like i said this one connector but i took off yesterday and we're ready to install so [Music] so [Music] okay we have our compressor here and we need to work it uh ready to go gotta make sure i've got both of these bottom bolts in first let's see the two is on the bottom those are a mess to get out um i think i'm good now okay now don't fall out okay i kind of got it phase one got it past the fan and i need to slide it back it's jammed right now okay moving right along with this rain on my head okay we finally got them in place but i ended up taking my bottom fan um cover off from the bottom it was in the way i didn't think it was at first but that was and i was able to maneuver it um you have to hold it upright to get it and slide it sliding backwards do this opening up in here where my hand is just slide it backwards and don't forget to put your um don't forget to put your new o-rings on your lines let's see here this one on this one the smaller one i already got the large one off the large line the high side better well if that is the highest i'm assuming it is i have my new ones right here and i'm gonna put my compressor down first before i put those on let's get that bolted down and get my wire connector back on okay i got my extension getting my top bolt back on here this works best that's how long this rod is [Music] i got my wire connector back on already the one in the back here nice and tight so i've got the two on the bottom and moving right along so my compressor is coming along just fine here got my two top bolts tightened down i'm going to tighten down the other ones there's some stuff in the way my compressor is going back in fine let me connect my line to get my um o-rings on okay adversity too we have our ac compressor on i got both my lines back got my o-rings on um i have all of my compressor i poured some in put all my bolts back where they should be got all my belts back on them i got my ac built on at the bottom there serpentine build on at the top and i'm in the process of putting back my top of my fan cover shroud and my intake and we are going to evacuate the system i just had a problem with one with the boats that are at the bottom there was no room to tighten them up and that that took up my time so but the extension really worked out the grocery too i've got my um compressor into place got everything back where it needs to be so i know i'm putting a vacuum on my system to get the air out just had it over unplugged overnight so i got my lines open turning those down i got my punt i'm missing my knob shot i tried to hack these they still came back this in off pump here [Music] me [Music]
