how to cartoon profile photo in canva is the topic we are showing today in our video Welcome to our canvas Crusade Channel where we make canva tutorials today I'm sharing how we can convert our profile photo into a cartoon which can be handy if you want to put a caricature of you in your social media profile I already touched this subject in one previous video but canva has hidden the Prisma tool in this new Cana photo version and I'm getting some questions about where to find this tool so I decided to answer these questions with this video Let's Start by creating a new design let me just write the name of this project so I know where it is now I already have the profile photo I want to turn into cartoon in canva so I'm going to the uploads section and insert the photo in the design to turn my profile photo into a Caron I need to use the canva tool called Prisma but when canva did some updates a while ago some tools that existed in the past don't appear in this new photo editor however we can still use them but we need to revert to the old photo editor check out how I do this first I'm going to duplicate the photo then I select the photo I want to turn into cartoon and click edit photo next step is to scroll scroll all the way down finally I see this message where I click click here a box message will pop up and click revert to the old editor that's it I'm already in the old editor so with my photo selected I click headit image and in the search effects bar I write Prisma then I just click on the top of the Prisma icon in the Prisma tool you can choose many options but for this photo I think it's best to use Kick Scooter now I want to erase the background of my cartoon profile photo to do that I click background remover be careful not to click the new background remover icon because that would lead to a conflict between the new and the old version of canva just choose the old icon to remove the background in this next step I'm going to put the image with the size I want and then I'm going to insert a shadow I just want to download my cartoon profile photo with a transparent background so to do that I make the following steps copy and paste the image put it the second image on top of the first and select both clicking right button of the mouse here you can see the option to download selection now I'm going to upload my cartoon image back to canva I want to insert this image in the circle frame and to do that I just just go to canva elements search for frames and choose the one I want final step I drag my image to the top of the frame and that's it hope you found this video useful and if so remember to sub support our Channel by liking the video and sharing it with family and friends that may find this information interesting also remember to subscribe to Canvas Crusade and hit the Bell notification so you can be informed every time we upload a video take care
