that is considered correct and true it expresses viewpoints but it is not based on facts or other pieces of evidence for example a person can believe in various things such as cultural or personal which is why it cannot serve as the basis for a formal argument [Music] for example in my personal view coronavirus makes us separated from others because of social distancing i think cold weather is better than hot weather i believe that ice cream is better than cake going back to what i said earlier that there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to belief the reason behind it is that beliefs are very personal ideas and cannot be rejected because they express an opinion also these beliefs are not mandatory to change completely with new experiences meanwhile conviction is something that an individual is convinced of to be convinced of you need to obtain all the related information religion and science play a big part in our conviction you cannot just change facts in science right the fact that the sun is the center of the universe is already proven by science it is not just an opinion because it is backed up with years of research the difference between belief and conviction is that based on the information that the conviction is built a belief changes with time and new experiences yet a conviction remains the same for example you may have an opinion that you like ice cream than cake now but it may change over time depending on your mood budget or cravings like if you were a kid you preferred to play toys rather than watching news right but now that you're grown up you prefer watching news because your interest is now different you realize that it is more important to be updated by current events rather than playing with toys which are lifeless and childish thing but if we say we need oxygen to breathe that fact cannot be changed because no matter what our mood or interest is you can never survive if you want breathe our lungs supply oxygen from the outside air to the cells by the blood and cardiovascular to enable us to obtain energy thus making us alive up until now when we express beliefs and convictions we use signal phrases such as i believe i think i feel in my opinion and in my personal view let us use them in sentences here are some examples in my opinion the government has done a good job for handling this crisis i think we need to study more to pass the test i feel like we are not doing enough to help her i believe we should depend less on technology in my personal view pork tastes better than she can meet hooray you
