really quick because they're so good so um look at look at all these let's see there we go I love the creativity I love the colors and some of you have been um drawing your own which is so good look she's even got the Proctor's principles logo down here I love it and this one super creative I think this was Catherine love that Catherine and CJ's such an artist beautiful um love this one I think this was L and I forget who this one was but I just love these and this one is so good I think this one's Elaine love it Elaine so well done on that keep posting those um and uh like if you're just catching up with us um post those on social media and you can um tag Brian and I and we will reshare your posts um and all of that good stuff so um all right we've got another fun assignment for you coming up today that is really powerful and so we're going to go over that fully um at the end of the session so make sure you stick around um this one today is really going to get you fired up about your goals which is what Brian is going to be teaching about today um so we're going to be diving that uh into that here uh shortly um but before we get started I want to do one more thing so we ran over time a little bit yesterday and uh so some of you might have missed our announcement about our brand new Proctor principles program that we're launching next week and we'll get into the U more of the details about that tomorrow and all like the bonuses and everything that we're doing with that um but right now I just can't help myself so I'm too excited so I want to kick us off here today with obviously isn't working why don't you try ours we have to take ownership of what's going on in our life if we're not living the life we want to live if we're stuck and we're in a place that we don't want to be it's up to us to change it nobody else is going to do it for us and you know something you're sitting there watching this and you're thinking by God I'm going to change something when are you going to do it when are you going to do you've got to create a sense of urgency I'm going to do it right now it's time to create the life you've always dreamed of I'm Brian Proctor this is Proctor's principles I do know how fortunate I am to call Bob proc to my father this is my way of sharing that privilege with you if you can see it in your mind you can hold it in your hand if you can see it in your mind you can hold it in your hand thank you Bob yay all right I want to congratulate gerbon Tina and Peter who have all made the decision to join us for our first Proctors principles cohort and we'll be working closely with Brian Corey and myself for the rest of the year congratulations you guys and with that um let's get this party started and talk about goals Brian are you ready to rock brother I am ready Tommy awesome how are you today I Tommy I gotta congratulate you that's uh it's it's almost bizarre watching that trailer that is just uh that's a work of art man it really is thank you I'm glad you like it yeah you did an amazing job with that and uh boy it feels good it you know that that just watching that and watching my father and that one particular picture that you have of him there where he's he's looking at like that is just oh my God it touches my heart in ways that are just uh it's crazy it's I know it's really nice me too it was emotional making it I'll tell you that much yeah for sure so you know there there's something on there that um uh it just occurred to me that it it probably uh there's probably a lot of you asking why July 5th um so you know July 5th is a very special day um and this is why we're launching the program everything closes out on July 5th and that's when we start the program with our first group um it won't be available after that for a long quite a while anyway um and the reason for July 5th is that was my father's birthday or is my father's birthday and dad would have actually turned 90 on this July 5th I know which is just crazy um and you know I I just I don't know there's something in me that just feels right about doing these things to celebrate his birthday and launching these different things and um last year at this time Corey and I released the book my father knew the secret and we released it on July 5th and um it just has a lot of special meaning to me um so for those of you that were maybe wondering why July 5th um that's the reason it's just um it's just a heart- center date for me and uh and it's important so yeah special day sure is yeah all right buddy take it away thanks Tommy thank you um so first off I I want to thank everybody that's here I want to thank uh every last one of you for taking your time for being here again um it doesn't go unnoticed by me I I will tell you that I I I take this very very seriously and um I've had some messages I I want you to know I see all the messages and uh and I try to respond to everybody and if I haven't yet you will get a response from me um I have seen some messages that have literally brought tears to my eyes um so you know it's um gosh you guys are really really making this um a special experience for me um Corey and I are uh putting oursel out there by doing this this is not something that we ever planned on doing it's not certainly not something we thought we would do um and um and we're here because of yesterday um yesterday's lesson on intuition and we have followed our intuition to a tea and we're doing this because we are following our intuition um for me that's that's dad speaking to me from wherever um that's what I choose to believe um but I follow it to a tea um so if if you didn't get a chance to see yesterday's lesson um please watch the replay um I I think you're going to really take some some value from it and for those of you that did I hope you're really starting to get in touch with that inner voice and not let those other voices on our shoulder dictate whether you'll listen to that first voice you know I I always say intuition is the first voice that enters our our our mind in our into our head and all those other voices are our paradigms our past thoughts our past experiences our opin of what we think other people are going to think none of it really matters um you know dad always said is none of our business what anybody else thinks of us and um that's really the truth and quite frankly most people aren't thinking about us anyway um now I've got some weird thing showed up on my screen Tommy is that I stopped it so yeah no screen sharing thanks friends I'm Mr technical over here so I just uh open my eyes when I see funny things so I'm going to share um today we're going to talk about a few things um and today is really based a lot around um some of the questions that a lot of you have submitted um around goals and around self-image and around um Partners or people in our life that don't necessarily support us uh might be a little negative um I think I I'm going to have some good answers for you today and I want you to know that everything I'm sharing with you I am going to share in the simplest way that I possibly can um I I think there's there's a lot of people that try to over complicate Concepts and theories and things in our life um none of this is complicated that's the key um it's all in our thinking and my gosh there's so much that we can do there's so much that we can achieve in this world world if we kind of dumb it down and we just start looking at things from a simpler point of view so I'm going to start off by giving you another one of I guess my secrets and that is this I love my life I love my life now I'm living in a beautiful home with a beautiful wife um exactly where I want to be I have a wonderful family but my life wasn't always like that and here's the secret I loved my life even when it wasn't like this that's the secret you need to start loving your life wherever you're at right now you know Dad studied uh a fellow by the name of Neville Goddard um and Neville Goddard um has a great concept he has a lot of complicated ones but but in its simple form is that we need to live from the place that we want to be we need to picture oursel from the place that we want to want to be and for me I have always lived from this place I knew I was going to be here but I was enjoying my life even when I wasn't here as if I was here that's one of the secrets you need to appreciate where you're at love your life for where you are right now and love your life for where you're going and where you're going to be and that will bring it into your life um that really one of the big keys and you know one of the questions that a lot of people raised in that um uh survey was that they've got goals and they don't achieve them they don't get there and they're getting frustrated and here's something uh that that I have heard all of my life we all know how to do it we all know how to be better we know how to do more we know how to be productive more productive than we are currently being yet we don't do it and why is that it's kind of an interesting thing we do know how to be better why don't we do it so my challenge is this I don't believe if you're not doing it and you know how to do better I don't believe your goal is big enough if your goal is big enough if your goal is inspiring enough it will cause you to do the things that you already know how to do that you're not doing it'll cause you to step out of your own way and do what's required and that's really important now something that um I I love to say because I think it's it it holds a lot of meaning and a lot of people resonate with it and that's this would you be friends with somebody that talk to you the way you talk to yourself think about that I've got a book here as a man thinketh um I go back and I try to think what was the very first personal development book I read Because as you can imagine they were they've been around all my life and Dad tried to introduce me to these books right from when I was a young boy and I don't remember exactly what the first book Is it's one of two it was either as a man thinketh or Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach um I'm not quite sure which but yesterday I was reading as a man thinketh a little bit uh before I got on here and I'm going to open this up and I'm going to read just two paragraphs out of this book and then I'm going to kind of talk about it for a second as a man thinketh first off was written or it was published I believe in 1903 so the language is not quite current um but I'm going to read the book it's written because that's the way it's written so just just take that for what it is it says the soul attracts that which it secretly harbers that which it loves and also that which it fears it reaches the height of its cherished aspirations it falls to the level of its unchastened desires and circumstances are the means by which the soul receives its own in other words our circumstance is a byproduct of the way we're thinking every thought seeds sewn or allowed to fall into the mind and to take root there produces its own blossoming sooner or later into act and bearing its own fruitage of opportunity and circumstances good thoughts bear good fruit bad thoughts bad fruit what are you thinking about how do you talk to yourself I hear hear so many people when I'm talking with them and they're saying I have this goal but I can't do it because of this or I have this happening in my life their entire focus is on what's not working what they don't want that's what they're thinking about so I want you to think what are you thinking about are you thinking about your goal and how to achieve it how to get there or are you thinking about what's not working only you can answer that but you already know the answer so I have learned gosh all of my life and I'm not going to say I'm perfect at this because I'm not however this is what happens to me when I start going down that negative Rabbit Hole I know what I'm doing very quickly and I change I change my thinking immediately it's you know Dad called it just switch just switch switch when you when you recognize it with with awareness you can switch it and you want to start thinking from the place you want to be you want to think about your goal as achievable you want to know that you're going to get there I have this Corey and I talk about it all the time I have this deep inner knowing that I'm going to achieve what I'm going after what I'm what I'm doing why I'm here I just have this inner knowing it's a peace and no matter what's going on outside if it's not showing itself in the physical world world and it's I have no indications of it that's on me I just have to feel it on the inside because that's where it begins so for all of you if you have big dreams and you're not seeing any physical manifestation of it yet allow that physical manifestation to start in your thoughts and in your heart because that's where it begins now dad always said what are you trading your life for we're trading our life for something every day we're trading our life for something are you trading it for something of value or you going after something you really want or you're just living day by day Tommy can we can we Spotlight Corey and bring her on for a second absolutely come on down Corey I I um Corey and I were talking this morning and um and she had something of real value that I thought would would really I think I think you'll all relate to so Cory I can you share what we talked about earlier today yeah well now I know why you wanted me to share this story uh good job um okay so wow me full screen that's that's a lot let's let's fix that um yeah so Brian asked me to talk today uh about a conversation that I had had with his father and um it was all around the question what do I really want so I I didn't grow up with Bob Proctor um I was never asked what do I want or told that I could be do or have what I wanted in life um so this this conversation with Bob um was a really it was a pivotal point for me and I remember it like it was yesterday because it really was an emotional impact it was just the two of us having dinner um in a restaurant at the Prince Hotel in Toronto and it was after the end of a very full day of training and it was this restaurant that kind of opened up onto the lobby and people were walking around and um I noticed everybody noticing him uh but he didn't you know he was just fully engaged with me and really my heart was just so touched that Bob had asked me to dinner with him tonight just the two of us because I saw him in the room that day I saw I saw how hard he had worked with hundreds of people you know just really helping people to understand and um teach and honestly he deserved a break but um but that wasn't Bob he saw an opportunity to help me and to make a difference and so that's what he did and that's why um this conversation was so pivotal for me um so when Bob asked me that question at dinner what do I want I uh I literally didn't have an answer and that was a big realization you know in my mind I was thinking I have no idea you know like like a lot of people I was just mindlessly doing the next thing expected of me in every part of my life I was a single mom with two kids just doing my best I wasn't I wasn't using my imagination I didn't even really understand how to use my imagination I wasn't creating anything different from what I was doing and I certainly didn't understand what it meant to create something different so at that dinner you know I had no problem telling Bob what I didn't want which of course he was not interested in hearing and I remember him saying to me at that moment anything coming out of your mouth after but is a circumstance you are letting your circumstances dictate your direction so sitting at that table just the two of us and him asking me that question was really uncomfortable I knew I was stuck and I knew there was no way out I was at this table so I really made a decision right there to get serious about doing the work to change my thinking and to recognize when I was in these thought patterns and Bob knew me well enough by then that he knew it needed to begin with a strong affirmation because a lot of my thinking was around a need I had to control my environment and I know this came from a series of circumstances throughout my life but you know where it came from it didn't matter What mattered is that it was holding me back because by holding so tightly to everything I was blocking any good that I desired or deserved and you know Bob of course recognized this and so right then right there he created this affirmation for me that I'm going to share with you U but let me just tell you this affirmation will be included in your replay email so um it'll be there um and right then and there at that dinner Bob said to me I want you to use this every day and then we talked about how to use it and here it is I am so happy and grateful now that I let everything in my life flow free and easy and I focus only on what serves me toward my greater good let me say it again I am so happy and grateful now that I let everything in my life flow free and easy and I focus only on what serves me toward my greater good well I became very disciplined about using this affirmation I wrote it out each morning and at night I wrote the word let on Post-it notes and I stuck them everywhere this affirmation was always at the Forefront of my mind and to be honest with you it still is I still use it every day I still write it out because the results that I got it was it was like witnessing a miracle um so let me tell you what this affirmation did for me it created a pause in my life and with that pause with me not trying to control everything I began receiving in unexpected ways and I was able to recognize and act on New Opportunities and this it really created a calmness in my mind and in my heart and honestly I felt like a better person I felt more in control which is ironic since I was trying to control everything because with this new space created I had room to think and I could start thinking about that question what do I really want and so the first question I asked myself was you know what if what if there is something more for me and I sat quietly and I allow I allowed myself to imagine outside of my current reality and this was not easy for me at first um honestly I felt foolish but slowly it became fun I looked forward to my scheduled times that I would do this where I would sit quietly and ask myself that question and I I opened myself up to imagining things that honestly felt crazy but here's the crazy part things started to change with this new mindset things really started to change my life started to change I got clear on a direction and I started saying yes to things that before I was automatically saying no to and instead of asking myself can I do this I started asking myself what if I don't do this will I regret it this is my one Beautiful Life how did I want to live it um you know Bob Bob gave me this necklace it has an exclamation point in it a diamond exclamation point it's quite beautiful he loved the exclamation point to him it was definitive I'm sure you've heard him talk about it from the stage this I will do and I wear it to remind me of that strength because it took strength and discipline to really get serious and start living these new principles without wavering and when I did my life expanded and it was scary and wonderful at the same time and honestly it still is I mean just look at me now I'm I'm terrified but I also hear Bob in my ears saying Corey stop worrying about what other people are thinking about you you have no idea how what you have to say could help someone else this is why we are here to share our stories so others can learn we are here to provide value and that is what this master class is about that's why we're here these three days um so that's my story but before I hand it back to Brian I want to share something I have a really good friend um I don't think she's on here but she's someone met at at one of Bob's events and we became good friends I mean that's one of the beautiful things about this community you meet amazing people and we've had a friendship for I don't know seven eight years now but um out of the blue she sent me these this quote um and I said to her this is so perfect for what I'll be talking about today and I asked her if I could share it so the quote is by Dennis uh waitley and it's from a book titled the power of one more and um here it is of all the judgments we make through life none are more important than the estimate we place on ourselves according to our own internal standards so that's what I had to do I had to adjust my standards I had to raise the bar and there's always room to do that right so let's continue doing that let's continue raising the bar on what we think we're capable of so back to you Bravo Cory thank you honey you know I I'm so glad that Corey came on to to share that um I I I first off ladies in the room how many of you can relate to that I have a feeling there's a lot of you um I think the women in our lives um are trying to make sure everything gets done everything's done right and um I don't think they put enough focus on themselves I think I think a lot of you ladies are putting the focus on making sure everybody else is taken care of um and um I think what Corey really got out of that was that she learned to take care of herself a little bit more as well and that's a good thing um that her dreams matter and so I want all of you to know your dreams matter and we need to go after these things we are living in this life and we can live dayt day getting through our dayto day or we can start dreaming what do I really want for my life and what can I do today to get me one step closer to that dream that's all it takes it is that simple it really is that simple um when I was young uh in my 20s um I got into real estate I was I became a real estate salesperson in torona and my favorite seminar of my father's to go to was the goal achiever seminar um I loved that seminar every time I came out of that seminar my sales they would Skyrocket and they did that for a reason because I got f focused on my goal I started going after something um I think we all find ourselves sometimes just living that dayto day like what Corey talked about and boy Our Lives can change if we're focused on something bigger and dad had that ability to really get me to focus on something bigger and this is what he did in that seminar he would have us take a piece of paper and I challenge all of you here to start to think about this and the reason why I'm challenging you to think about this is I was looking around yesterday online on percentage of people that set goals and I was seeing all kinds of different surveys and things and it ranged anywhere from like as low as 3% to maybe as high as 10% it was it was a ridiculously small number um of people that actually have a clearly defined goal that they can write out um so what dad had us do and what I challenge you to do is to sit down in a quiet place and start to think what would I like in my life what would I like to have what would I like to do what would I like to be whatever that is for you and here's a big key don't worry about what anybody else thinks just don't even give it thought think about this that you don't even need to share it with anybody else and here's one of the secrets that worked for me anyway he said pretend you have a magic wand and that it doesn't matter what your world is like it doesn't matter at all if you have a magic wand what would you really like in your life who would you like to be how would you like to be what would you like to be doing or what would you like in your life it can be physical it can be a way of being it can be it can be anything it's your goal this is the great thing we're all unique we're all got different ways of looking at this world so all of our goals should be different um and and really start to think if you had that magic wand what would you have and here's the the the key he says if we start to think about why we can't have it or I don't have a clue how to get there we're going down that negative path as a man thinketh as a woman thinketh what are you thinking about don't think about how you can't achieve it what excites you now it might take you an hour it might take you a month before you land on that thing that inspires you but take the time to start writing out a list and just that magic wand forget about how you're going to do it and just start writing everything down and you keep doing that every day eventually something's going to kind of rise to the top and something's going to inspire you and when you find that magical something that inspires you that's when you'll get out of your own way and that's when you will start doing the things you know already how to do it's so important um and I'm going to say I'm not perfect at this um I'll go back just a few years um Corey and I were living in Florida at the time and we had a dream of this home in the Pacific Northwest on the ocean and God I can remember he came down to Florida to visit us and uh dad and I went out for breakfast or lunch it was maybe a brunch between a breakfast and a lunch and um and and we were sitting down and and I was uh I was starting to talk to him about my goal um you know Dad was always that one I could share my goal with and uh we had bought this property um the house that was on it was a little old it needed a lot of work um but it's like literally 15 ft from the ocean um and it's just it's make the nature stuff here is just incredible and I sat down with Dad and I started talking to him and he did his typical thing he says well what do you really want Brian what do you want I started sharing what I'd like to do and um and I said W it'd be nice maybe we can renovate it you know and and and I was I was being a bit of a fool I I I was not living the material I was getting caught up in the how can I do thing and he he stopped me and he said Brian what would you really like and I said well if I'm to be really honest I would like to tear the whole place down and build a beautiful new home right on that spot and he says why don't you do that so I started thinking then I started saying well I guess I could if I did this and maybe if I do that and again he stopped me and he says Brian he says you don't need to figure out all the steps required to get there all you need to know is that is that what you really want and it was like that knock on the head I've always known it and and and I challenge all of you we always know but sometimes we get caught up in the weeds and I was getting caught up in the weeds I was getting caught up in the how and he said you don't need to know how you're going to do it you just need to make a decision is that what you want to do and if that's what you want to do that's what you set your goal at and then you start doing every day something to get you there and you'll figure it out as long along the way and it was such a simple thing um but it just it hit me and it's not like this is the first time I ever heard it um you know I I was I guess I was in my late 50s um at that time and so it's like i' I've been hearing this for a very long time so I sat back and I looked at him and I can I can remember smiling at him with that knowing smile and and he he had that little grin on me like you know better and I made a decision at that moment um that we were going to do this and Corey and I didn't know how we were going to do it but you know what we were inspired by it we knew that that's what we really wanted we wanted to live in this kind of a place in this kind of an environment we didn't have a clue how we were going to get here and it took us a few years for sure but we did it and if we had known all the steps that were required in the beginning we might not have done it and I'm glad I didn't know all the steps because what I learned along the way was invaluable and here's the key with having a really lofty goal when you go after something that's important to you for whatever your reason is you will learn things getting on your way there that you will never be able to unlearn the things that Corey and I learned going after this are invaluable now here's the cool thing about setting big goals getting or achieving that goal that's great but that's really just a reward the big deal is in what you'll learn along the way so often we get it twisted and confused and I've heard so many people that get themselves almost in a negative way because oh I'm not even anywhere close to my goal and they're focused on that big thing and it's like it's not happening and they're getting frustrated that's because all they're focused on is the goal they're not focused on what can I do right now if you get focused on what step what one thing can you do today to get you closer I said this yesterday those small steps in one year equals 36 65 small steps and believe you me if you take care of a little thing today and keep doing that every single day you are going to get to that lofty goal and you'll get there and you'll think wow how did I do this and it's it it is so much easier if we focus on the little thing today so if you are having that challenge where you're getting frustrated for going after something and lofty and you're not getting there and it's not showing up I challenge you to start focusing on what little thing can you do today always have that goal in your mind always have that Vision in your mind live from that place live from a knowing Place know that you're going to get there if you take care of the little things today all right that is I I I I I guess I just want to drill that one home because I see too many people that think I need that big thing to happen and if we do the little thing if we get focused what can I do today we live in the present moment and I'm going to talk a lot about more more about that tomorrow but when we start living in the present moment and what can I do right now we will get there and the key is to do it with joy and live in the present moment in Joy now there's a couple of tools um that I have that I'd like to share with you for reaching goals one of them um I learned from a friend of mine Peggy McCall I know uh there's probably a number of you here that know Peggy uh Peggy and I have been friends for I don't know 40 years long time and Peggy has a great thing she likes to call it her power life script and um I really like I like how she has done this and how she's orchestrated it and the power life script is simply this to write out on a piece of paper your life exactly the way You' like it write out the way you want to live your life and that can be your big goal that can be your family it can be the way you're being every day and be whatever you want write that out and write it out from the in in the present tense as if you're already there and then what she did was she took that and she read it into like a voice mem on her phone and she would listen to it every day so Peggy and I have been accountability partners for years and she was always telling me that she's rewarding her life script and she was recording it again and she was making all kinds of great things happen in her life and all of a sudden I thought maybe she's on to something here maybe I should try this so I thought you know what I'm gonna try it and so I wrote out what I wanted my life to be like where I was living how I was living how the kids were uh how my marriage was and I wrote it out and I recorded it and I was listening to it to it and I don't know if you're like me uh the sound of my own voice uh it it just is kind of weird um it didn't it didn't you know hit me in a great way I was listening to it and it felt good but it was just kind of weird now I think you can all relate you've all heard Corey I think Corey has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard um I just do um from the moment I met her her voice has just resonated with me and I've often said when we're driving somewhere uh sometimes Corey read some piece of article she's uh looking at or something and and she would just read to me and I I it was it's it's like heaven for me um as we're driving just listening to her speak it just it touches me at a deep level and I thought boy what if I have Corey read my life script to me thought that might make a difference so I then rewrote it out as if it was Corey congratulating me on all these great things that I've experienced and I had her record it for me she wouldn't let me be in the room when she did it which was a lot of fun but I remember when she read this and then and then I got to listen to it it was uh it was a mentally changed everything for me um hearing her speak the words of me living from that place I wanted to be and congratulating me on it boy it touched me to my core and I will tell you it is one of the best tools that I have ever used now I say that um that power life script we've we've been talking about it for a couple of months and we have to do it I we have to do a new one because I have achieved everything that is in that power life script everything and I had some pretty crazy things in there um what it did for me is this it conditioned my mind to believe it was possible that's the important thing of using power life scripts affirmations it conditions the mind to believe it's possible do you know at first when you're going after something big you might not think it's how am I going to do this what are people going to think that doesn't matter the key is what do you think and at first it might be unbelievable but if you make an affirmation you do a Power life script you do something that's going to keep you're going to keep hearing it you're going to keep writing it out eventually you will start to think this is possible for me because you just keep focused on it you keep focused on the good that has been a tool that has changed my life so it is just I I just I'm trying to not look at the chat I just saw somebody said repetition is the key and that is the key repetition is the key that is how we are going to alter our way of thinking in a a positive way now the second tool I use and Tommy you might want to come on here for this one because you've got something kind of cool the second tool I use is um a vision board and I have a vision board right across from me here um we used to keep it in the bedroom and uh last year we brought it out and put it right in front of my desk we unknowingly have ended up spending a lot more time in our office than we thought we would um and uh so so the vision board now is right in front of my desk so I see it every day and vision boards uh I think a lot of people think they're kind of childlike um it's like a school project or something that's okay um yeah they probably are but it's a tool to get you focused on what you want it it's a tool to keep in the Forefront of what you're going after and that's the key we need to keep seeing what we're going after why are we going after it we need to program our mind because we are going to go down negative positive every once in a while but if we can use tools that are going to get us focused on what we actually want it will condition us so that we don't go down that negative path as often and when we do we can get out of it quicker and it's funny I'm looking at my vision board and again this needs to be changed in a couple of spots now because one of the things that that we have on here I'll just share with you I don't like to share what's on my vision board but but one of them is um is this picture in Tuscany from a villa looking over a pool an infinity pool over the hills of Tuscany with The Vineyards and and the olive Orchards and stuff the crazy thing is we stayed in a villa last month that could have been taken from the picture that's on this vision board how crazy is that and I've been staring at that for a month and and I booked that place without realizing the two you know it's it's it's amazing how these things work and I know Tom you're going to share maybe the project a little bit later but why don't you share what you came up with uh based on today I think it's just going to be a lot of fun yeah totally so I see in the chat a lot of us already have vision boards that's cool um but we want to give you an opportunity to create one or maybe update one or create like a little different version here so um we've made you a little template here I'm going to share my screen and show you we've made um a canvas a template okay and so well I I'm going to go over this at the end a little bit in more detail but um we've made this cool uh vertical graphic for you and then you can fill it with your own pictures and then it's the perfect size also to um make your phone wallpaper on your um if you're if you're on iPhone it fits perfectly um not sure about the other devices but anyway we're going to have you make one of these and um it's really cool you know I love the vision board thing I've got one too over here and mine definitely needs to be updated as well um but I like the idea of having it like right on your phone screen you know because then it can just be so top of mind and maybe it's like you know maybe if you have like a nice one on your wall you could make another one for your phone that's kind of maybe a more like immediate version like I want to do this you know in the you know maybe this year or something like that um just as an idea so yeah so that's what we're going to that's what our assignment is going to be for today and I'll give you a little tutorial at the end Tommy I love that um Tommy Tommy shared that with me last night and I was like oh my God I love this this is um because it's a powerful tool it's a simple tool but it's powerful um so yeah thank thanks very much for sure getting into that so I I'm gonna share a little bit more about our goals and um I have to come clean this is um you know I I never know where I'm going to go um as I'm talking and sharing my uh my thoughts with you and and kind of what I learned from my father so I'm going to make you this promise um we're not going to get into self-image today and how to deal with a a a loved one that's maybe not as supportive um but that will be the first thing I talk about tomorrow uh because we are literally uh seven minutes away from the hour um so tomorrow I'm going to talk about that and uh I will start that right from the beginning to make sure I cover it because I know that's something important for a lot of you um I want to share something else with this vision board and and the importance of it um you know I talked yesterday about debt and things and one of the images here here's the thing you got to get creative with your images and what you use on a vision board use things that really resonate with you find pictures that resonate with you you know in the uh the days before the internet you had to search magazines and all kinds of stuff my God today you can put in just a key word on what you're looking for on the internet and all kinds of images will pop up so it's really easy to put something good and creative together here's one of the images that I had used on a vision board that was really powerful for me anyway um and that was an image of a morgage on fire being burned like a mortgage burning party um that really really really worked for me so you know pick images that resonate to you now here's the key and I I wrote something down that is more important than maybe it even sounds it says this comparison is the thief of Joy stop comparing what you're doing what you're going after to anybody else or anything else what you need to do when you you find that goal that inspires you the only thing it needs to do is inspire you don't worry about your family those closest to you those not so close to us who cares if it inspires you if it causes you to do something today that you would not have normally done that's a worthy goal you know my dad uh had a way of of I guess segregating goals out he called them a type goals B type goals and ctype goals and he said an A type goal is what most people have and that's goal that we already know how to do how to achieve we just do this and do this we're going to get there um he said there's no inspiration in that because we already know how to do it unfortunately that's what most people have set for goals he said B type goals are goals that are going to be a little more challenging but you already know that if you put this together and you go out and do that and you maybe pull in this person to help you with this you get there maybe a little bit more inspiring because it's a little tougher but and it maybe a little bigger but still not inspiring enough to cause us to do the things that we wouldn't normally do that is what he like to call a sea type goal that really inspires us so I challenge you especially today after this session to sit down and think what really inspires you what do you want to go after when when you can find what triggers you what will cause you to do the uncomfortable what will cause you to get out of your own way that's when you know you've got a worthy goal and don't compare your goal to anybody else's or what anybody else is doing comparison is the thief of Joy now here's an interesting thing I have learned I'm chasing some pretty big goals I'm doing some things that quite frankly I never thought I would have been doing being here with you right now I would have never dreamed I'd be doing this um I've got big goals and I've got what I consider really good reasons for why I'm doing it it feels right for me I've got people close to me looking at me like I'm nuts why are you doing this you don't have to do this you could go out fishing you could go out kaying you don't have to work as hard as you're working you and and and and they try to berate me for it I'll talk a little bit more about this tomorrow but what that is is they're just showing me their stuff and you want to realize when somebody cuts you down they're showing you their stuff it's we don't have to take that on let that be that let that be them that I think is a good segue for what tomorrow is going to be about I'm going to really get into how to deal with that tomorrow how to deal with those closest to us that look at us like maybe we're nuts why are you going after that I think it's going to be a fun session um I've got some really really good things to share there that I know will help you um so I hope to see you tomorrow um I want to thank you again for being here today and I challenge you to go after really something big make it worthy you know in the last year Cory and I shared this yesterday we have stepped out and done things that uh I know for me has made me unbelievably uncomfortable I have stepped out of my comfort zone and it's not always easy but I'll tell you what it's done it has made me stronger it's made me more effective my self-image was always pretty good but it's even better because I keep stepping out and betting on myself I challenge all of you to step out and bet on yourself I said earlier we're trading our life for something don't make it mediocre every one of us has a dream we all have something we'd like to go after don't let your current circumstance or condition dictate what that is don't let that drag you down start to focus on what you do want start to listen to your selft talk and if you're not speaking good to yourself start speaking better you can change it right now it's just a matter of thought don't beat yourself up if you berate yourself don't do that because that's just continuing on that negative selft talk just say oh what's happening here and change it and start focusing on the good I promise you when you look for the good in the world the good in the world will start looking for you that's the way it works you start looking for the crop God Almighty man you you you'll step in the crop you're going to find the crop everywhere start looking for the good start focusing on the good and make sure you're speaking good don't worry about anybody else we'll talk about that tomorrow Tommy I want to bring you back on because I want you to share about this this screen saver thing that that you've got that people can use this is a powerful tool um I want you to stay on and and listen to what he has to say about this I want you to try it um yes it's a simple tool and so often we kind of fluff away these simple things I'm telling you these simple tools they are the secret to achieving great things don't over complicate where you're going make it simple and have fun with the process so Tommy why don't you uh share us sh share with us how how how we use this I will yes I I I think what Brian said is just so important what you just said there like it's funny how we as humans find it difficult to trust simple tools sometimes like the simple ones are the most effective often so um okay cool let me um show you what we've got so we showed you the what that looks like and I'm going to just share my screen and show you quickly how to use this in case you are maybe a little less than technically inclined or whatever um but if you go to um Trace has got the link in the chat here so go to Brian proctor.com day2 and it will load this canva template so just click on use template for new design if you don't have a canva template or a canva account you can you can um sign up for when it's it's free um so let me just sign in here really quick and um it will email you a a password a passcode that just comes right away um so okay so once you're into canva I've got three there's three pages in here okay so the first one is the template that you can put your own images in my example for you in case you want to start with that and then a blank one in case you want to just print this and um you know cut your own pictures out or something if you want to do that that's fine but on the template version here so when you're in canva then come over here where it says elements and um come down to photos okay or actually you can just search so search like if you wanted to put I don't know a Corvette let's say then you can find pictures um in here and like so here's one and then just click on it and drag until it sort of pops into there and let go okay and so you can find pictures in here you could find your own pictures you know on Google Images or maybe you already have some from a vision board that you've made and um you can upload those here so if you have your own pictures um you can also feel free to uh like resize size these you can you can move these around or you know if you just want to have like a few and not seven or whatever this is you can move these around and delete them um so and then once you're done click on the share button and then click on download okay and um you can select like uh just the first page if you want or all three or whatever and then just click download and it just takes a second and it will download to your computer um and then you can uh like I said like put this on your phone screen um I put it on my screen and I think it looks pretty cool so I think this is a good come on camera Focus there we go so yeah and um when you're on your if you're on an iPhone and you go to set set this as the wallpaper when it first shows up there it's kind of like zoomed in so just pinch to zoom out all the way and it'll fit okay so um so hopefully you have fun with this and then we would love you to um post uh post these again on social media and you can tag Brian at Brian Proctor official and tag me at Tommy call proo and we will um share a few of these tomorrow morning and uh share them also to our stories so Brian proctor.com day2 to get that template and then obviously you know if you want to just make your own version you know like old school like cutting pictures out you know from magazine or something and make a um a physical version of a vision board that's totally fine too take a picture of it we'd love to see it um posted on social so um you know and I like to think about the different areas you know of my life so like career business finance
