many people say that Sakura is the worst female character in Naruto that she's useless and that Sasuke shouldn't have ended up with her but if we're being honest there's a female character far worse than Sakura in the series and that will be Hinata now most people think he not is much better than Sakura but when you ask why people are just going to say I mean he not is much cuter than Sakura dude what you're talking about and that's pretty much the entire explanation as to why hinat is better than Sakura as a character but hinat is actually worse I would even say she is the worst female character in the series and obviously I'm not counting kagi because kagi is not a character she's a turd the problem with hinat is that she's relegated to just the love interest of the main character and she practically gets no development for herself this wasn't as bad in Naruto part one because Hinata actually had an arc in that part of the series she was the ays of the Huga Clan she had to be strong for her father and for her clan but she actually didn't want to and her cousin Nei was a hug as well and he was much more powerful than her and there was the entire thing between the main family and the branch family where nei's father actually sacrificed himself because hiashi saved Hinata in the flashback and all that stuff and the fight between Nei and Hinata is actually decent Hinata goes through interesting developments she gets more confident because of Naruto's Words which is fine and the fights ends up playing a role in how the Huga Clan would eventually change under Naruto in the future when he becomes the hok because that's when Naruto to started to think about changing Nei because well this guy sucks I have to beat him and he eventually does changing nii and therefore change the Huka Clan much later but even still she was very much relegated to oh look at this character here he not is so cute I'm going to make her as cute as I possibly can and then I'm going to make her be in love with the protagonist for no apparent reason other than I guess he's the protagonist and he not to likes his personality even though we never saw them interact like seriously when you watch Naruto part one they don't give you a single solid reason as to why he not has a crush on Naruto it's not like she develops the crush after seeing his efforts in the tuning exams and his personality and stuff no she starts off the series having a crush on Naruto the first time she's introduced which is in the beginning of the Chun exam she's already oh Nar oh I'm going to blush so yeah I mean the character could have baggage from before but it's better when you actually show why characters like each other even if it's because of a futile reason like Sakura liking H in the beginning because hos is cool and hot that's at least a reason and an understandable reason because well kids tend to be very shallow and Sakura was 12 years old in the beginning of the series Hinata well I guess you could say she saw Naruto for who he was and therefore she loved him all along because Naruto's always been a good person but that's not exactly the best way to start a relationship between two characters that are supposed to end up together in the end and yes Naruto and Hinata were always endgame ever since Hinata was intr ju she's had a crush on Naruto it was obvious Kishimoto was planning for that from the beginning which means that he could have developed the relationship a little bit better because let's be real it's not developed at all in the Naruto series because sure he not has an interesting Arc in the chuni exams but then she pretty much disappears from Naruto part one she only kind of appears in the Final Chapter when Naruto's going home and hinat is not even able to go say goodbye to him because he's going to pass out or something and then when we go to Naruto shipu and hinat is pretty much the exact same person she was back in Naruto part one before the tuni exams she's very shy and she literally passes out the first time she sees Naruto after the time Skip it's almost like her entire character regressed for no apparent reason because after Hinata fought against nii and when Naruto was about to go and fight nii they actually had a heart to heart before Naruto headed to the arena and he not didn't confess her feelings for Naruto or anything like that but she told him that she admired near him which is something very important and you would think that Naruto and Hinata would start to have a closer relationship after that Hinata wouldn't be as shy around him and Naruto wouldn't be as clueless maybe he would be a better friend to her but no they're back to square one and Naruto chutin and to be fair Hinata has practically no screen time before the pain Arch anyway the only time she appears here and there is in The Itachi Pursuit Mission and she barely talks to Naruto at all in that Arc yes Hinata is sent with Naruto Yamato and one of Kakashi's dogs to search for Itachi and Sasuke but nothing comes of that there's no cute interaction no development nothing at all Naruto only swaps hands with Kabuto very briefly and heata doesn't even intervene in that scene I mean at least she's not passing out every time she sees Naruto I guess that's a plus but she finally gets her moment to shine in the pain Arch when Naruto is spin down after losing to pain and she attacks tendo for about 4 seconds not even that it's actually much better in the anime because Hinata actually exchanges a couple of blows with pain and she actually hits pain once because nagato coughs some blood but in the Manga she is defeated in a page it's very quick but that was supposed to be one of the Apex moments of her character when she sacrifices herself for Naruto confessing her love to him pouring down her feelings something that well for a shy person like Hinata is a very big deal and in a way that saved Naruto because he lost the fight to pain but that caused the nin Tales to explode with Naruto's rage and then Naruto was able to fight more against Bain Mino had to come and save him and all that stuff you know the pain Arc it's very iconic I don't have to explain it to you but the thing is that Hinata did confess her love for Naruto that's something very apparent right it's not even ambiguous because yeah sure you can make the argument Naruto is really clueless about women I mean hell the first time he saw kunai pregnant she thought she ate an entire watermelon or something like yes she's very dumb when it comes to the female variety of humans but Hinata literally spelled it out for him hey Naruto I love you I am going to die for you here because I love you okay and what does Naruto do about that after the pain Arch he does not have a single conversation with Hinata nothing at all it's not even acknowledge that Hinata confess her love for him he doesn't tell that to anyone he doesn't even acknowled in his inner thoughts it's completely glossed over as though it never even happened which is a big shame because the moment when Hinata confesses her love for Naruto is actually very cool especially in the anime it was much more gruesome in the anime because you saw Hinata's sheer effort trying to beat pain or even to release Naruto from the rods but it was too late and there was a powerful moment but no I mean narut is not even going to acknowledge that he not is not going to follow up with that Naruto doesn't even think about that maybe he thought she confess her love for him because she was just a really good friend and that's what Naruto thought she wanted to be forever with him it was nothing romantic or anything the thing is that it's absolutely abundantly clear that in this point of the story Naruto has no feelings for hinat whatsoever because if he had he would have approached her after the pain Arch right even if only like a 5minute conversation or something yes there was a lot of stuff happening after the pain Arch the cloud ninjas arrived to the Village asking for Sasuke's head because he captured be everybody was arranging the five KAG Summits danzo overtook the leaf Village as the hok he could have pulled Hinata aside for 2 minutes and talked to her about that kind of stuff if he liked Hinata whatsoever so Hinata's confession which was the literal only good moment of the character in the Naruto she put in era was completely br pushed aside and forgotten this is such a weird writing Choice from Kishimoto maybe he's just embarrassed writing romance in the manga because yeah the only kiss we ever see in the Naruto series I mean in the Canon manga stuff anyway is Naruto and Sasuke kissing in the third chapter of the series by mistake there's no actual romantic kiss in the Naruto manga whatsoever and then moving on to the war Arc instead of doing something interesting with Hinata in the first day of the war maybe we have an interesting fight with her now she fights against white zsu F her that's pretty much it Naruto arrives in the battlefield and then he saves Hinata from the white zetus and then Hinata's final development in the Naruto series is that well Nei dies and Hinata is there to cheer Naruto up and tell him hey you shouldn't give up Naruto because nii didn't want you to give up so if you give up now you're not going to respect nii's final wishes and the reason he died for and this doesn't work for a couple of reasons first because n's death is very poorly executed and I've made videos about that before so go watch them if you're interested but also because we never really even cared about Hinata's relationship with Nei to begin with yes they had an interesting bond in part one when they were essentially enemies from a standpoint because Nei hated the main branch but Nei and Hinata hardly ever interacted in Naruto Ship put and the only time they were together on screen was when they were fighting against white zetu father not exactly a very fertile grounds for character development or anything like that and even when they are on screen fighting against the white set they don't even do anything interesting and it's very brief but okay nii dies Hinata cheers Naruto up and then Naruto Powers up kcm2 spreading it around the alliance and Naruto grabs Hinata's hand and she thinks oh Naruto's hand it's so big and warm that's what she said but after that you're like okay okay maybe these are going to be a couple now like Naruto grabbed her hand that's a pretty big deal in Japanese culture so maybe Naruto is actually developing feelings for hinat or something I don't know but actually when minu arrives 15 minutes later in the battlefield and he sees Sakura healing Naruto up he looks at her and says oh is that your girlfriend Naruto and then Naruto thinks really hard and says oh yes Dad that's definitely my girlfriend and then Sakura punches him or headbutts him whatever if he had feelings for Hinata whatsoever or if he was even aware that Hinata liked him he would probably say no that she's just my friend she's just socer she's been with me since we were in team seven but like we're we're friends I actually have a crush on another girl but now Naruto literally says Sakura is his girlfriend even though well he knew she wasn't and he was also aware that Sakura did not like him I don't know why man he said that just to make people think he didn't care about I guess and then when Naruto and Sasuke are fighting against Jito Hinata is like desperate she tries to run towards them and she falls she just stumbles and Falls that's her development in the war oh I guess we see her infinite suomi dream she dreams about her being with Naruto and nii's alive in the dream Pretty Natural so can you see how weak of a character she was in Naruto shuin the only good moment she had was not even used in the story for anything whatsoever there was no drama that followed it up nothing at all and she doesn't have an interesting thing going for her particularly because the entire development around the Huga Clan and the lineages the branch family and the main family was resolved back in part one when hiyashi told nii well I'm sorry about what I did I'm going to try to treat you guys better and that was it there was no more conflict from that particular part of the story and it was implied that Hinata and Nei just became friendly toward each other but we never even see them acting that way so there's no inner Conflict for Hinata she never overcomes her fault she never becomes more confident in herself the only time we saw that was in Naruto part one when she fought Nei and then she regressed completely Naruto shuin and yes she fought against Spain I guess you could say she became more courageous but nothing came out of that and the war Arch everything was the same inat is the shy useless girl that doesn't do anything in the story I mean if you say a is useless I don't know what you're going to say about Hinata and a lot of people have you know a thing for Hinata because she's the submissive girl oh that's so nice for Naruto which is a completely flat character that doesn't have much development and then in the final chapter of the series which is an epilogue 15 or so years after the war Ark Naruto and he not her together and they had no romantic developments in the entire series especially from Naruto's part their coupling is almost as random as Chi and K in the end because we never see those characters interacting in a mildly romantic way and it's very clear that throughout the entire story Naruto does not care about Hinata whatsoever he doesn't care about her romantically in part one because she's like yeah hin thank you for your healing thing that you gave me after I fought kba whatever I don't care in Naro she put and she literally confesses her love to him and he's like thank you Hinata I'm never going to talk to you about that and then in the war Arc she's like oh Naruto's hand is so warm and Naruto's like uh whatever he I still think Sakura should be my girlfriend and then in the Final Chapter they're together by a miracle for some reason oh no but don't worry dear viewer everything about Naruto and Hinata's relationship will be explained in Naruto the last which is collectively hailed as one of the best Naruto movies perhaps even better than some Canon arcs I don't know what these people were drinking but the last is a pretty damn terrible movie instead of actually developing Naruto and Hinata's feelings towards each other in an organic way they decide to Gaslight the entire audience and say oh actually Naruto's had feelings for Hinata all along you just didn't realize it and Naruto himself didn't realize that he had feelings for her but no actually he's liting not all long it's it's fate for them to be together Naruto is going to beat toner the guy that literally lives on the moon they go to the freaking moon in this movie it's so dumb and then Naruto kisses Hinata it's so romantic because he's always loved her just like she's always loved him so yeah you're trying to fool the entire audience into believing the most stupid thing ever even though there's ample evidence that Naruto had no feelings whatsoever towards zata the entire series now the most common excuse to say that Naruto doesn't understand women so he didn't know he liked Hinata well Naruto may not understand how women thought but he certainly understood his own attraction towards women and that's very clear from the first chapter of the series quite literally in the first chapter Naruto is transforming himself into sexy ladies that he found attractive to distract his teachers and whatnot in the second chapter when he meets Konohamaru they both use the same Jutsu several times and then in the third chapter of the series Naruto literally says in his inner monologue that Sakura is really attractive oh I really have a crush on Sakura and he really wanted to be on Sakura's team because he liked her and whatnot and there are other several examples of Naruto feeling attracted towards women in the series I don't have to go over all of them because they're very easy to spot so instead of Naruto the last actually developing Hinata's character they just say well no man and actually she's already been developed and narut already likes her obviously they would also use hinat as a Denzel in distress in the movie because that's the only type of role somebody like Hinata can play in a shown in series the girl literally had only one fight in the entire story because B that wasn't even a fight that was a Slaughter I mean you can even argue that the Nai fight was also a Slaughter but even still they don't do anything with her in the last which was supposed to be a movie focusing on her and it's pretty terrible so Naruto's like Hinata all along they have two kids and then Naruto becomes the Hoka game burrito and then Hinata doesn't do anything whatsoever because she becomes a housewife in the boruto series now I don't have anything against Housewives much in the contrary that's a very honorable occupation however when you become a housewife in a Shonen series that's focused on battles might as well kill the character right because you're going to become irrelevant he not's only purpose In The Boro series is to look worried when Naruto and boruto are in danger she's like oh no they're going to fight against mushiki oh no but she herself doesn't do anything I guess she doesn't have the power to do anything but I mean you could have tried something a little bit different right they even set up Hinata being from hamura's Clan lineage whatever she has a tense G so much so that toneri was trying to kidnap her in the last but they don't even do anything with that even though it's really stupid it would be something for her to do and the only time she could have done something a little bit more interesting was when kawaki showed up in Naruto's house with Hinata in there and he told Naruto yeah Naruto I'm sorry but I'm going to have to go and kill boruto because I need to kill Miki inside of him and there is no way um I have to kill him I'm sorry Hinata listened into the entire conversation she was next to Naruto now if you are a mother or a father whatever and somebody arrives to your house and says I'm going to go kill your child what's going to be your reaction I know most people watching this video are not p parents I'm not a parent myself but I have parents and most people have parents as well or somebody that a parent figure and you can kind of deduce how the reaction was going to be right he not should try to kill kaaki at the spot or do something about it you know incapacitate him she has the gentle fist it's the perfect Jutsu for incapacitation but what does Hinata do upon hearing that kaaki means to kill boruto her son she slaps him oh kaaki you're so stupid slap what excuse me but this makes no sense she slaps kaaki as though she was insulted by him or something not as though kaaki was literally about to go and kill her son and that was literally the only thing Hinata had to do other than looking worried in the entire Series so far and then obviously kaaki one shot Hinata and Nar and put them into a Timeless Dimension where they cannot do anything whatsoever to affect the plot now compare H to Sakura for example I mean at least Sakura had a very interesting fight against saucery and a little bit of stuff to do in the war Arc and she just developed as a character much better than Hinata did now I'm not saying Sakura is perfect no far from it but Hinata is far worse than her as a character which is very unfortunate because she is the wife of the main character of the series so you would want her to have a bit more of an interesting character Arc and character traits and a more interesting personality and just know like the submissive girl that is just very kind all the time that's why I completely changed her character after the time skip in my rewriting Naruto series if you're interested in
