Uh we're heading into now day 16 of the US versus Shawn Combmes trial. Uh things were heating up yesterday. Uh there was a woman who began speaking before uh the jury came in saying, "Diddy, they're out to get you." She was summarily removed there, which there was also there was some other talk. We we may have more on this later, but there were two main witnesses yesterday. Uh one was Eddie Garcia. He was the one who asked for immunity and it became clear why. Basically, he asked or he he says that Combmes and Christina Cororam talked him into it, but he ended up taking $100,000 cash out of a cash counter in a LA condo unit uh to disappear the video of Combmes uh assaulting Cassie Ventura. Um this is going to be pushed as uh obstruction of justice pretty clearly. Um but they didn't they didn't draw the point on there. They just got his testimony. Same thing with this um CFO of various Comb entities known as Derek Ferguson. He actually said some some some praiseworthy things particularly on cross but even on some on direct about the Combs Enterprises. But the whole point of his testimony was to point to a particular transaction um involving the company that owns the LLC that owns or owned Combmes's Alpine New Jersey house. There was a mysterious $20,000 in and a $20,000 out. Regginal Ventura was mentioned. That's the father of uh Cassie Ventura. And if listeners will remember will remember that uh Combmes in a fit of peak called up Cassy's parents and said he was going to release the sex tape unless they paid him $20,000, which honestly he didn't need. This was this was actually one of the most mean-spirited things that's been testified to. He then later returned the money. So they basically showed. So there's there's another predicate, another ego predicate, extortion. Um, now the big witness coming up is Jane. Uh, that's a pseudonym and we respect that for the record as we did in the first case. Uh, absent errors by by presentation. Um, Jane will be testifying from late today through Thursday, Friday, and into Monday. And then there'll be cross-examination. They say it may last until next Thursday when she's has a flight to leave the country. So that's is that their last witness? I think that there's some other things they're going to need to nail down. Travel records of the escorts, etc. But we're on it. We're all over it, and we may have more to say. Day 16 of Diddy's trial is already a wild ride, and the courtroom is buzzing with jaw-dropping revelations. We've got text messages straight from Diddy's phone, a video expert breaking down that brutal hotel beating that we saw, that footage from 2016, and a close friend of Cassie who says Diddy dangled her over a 17-story balcony like it's a scene from a thriller movie. The prosecution's piling up the evidence, but Diddy's team is swinging back and they are trying to poke holes in every single detail. Stick with me because we're going to unpack the chaos, figure out what it all means, and you're not going to want to miss this. So, let's dive into the madness of today because the prosecution came out swinging. First, they introduced a batch of text messages pulled from a phone seized from the March 2024 raid on Diddy's home in Star Island. Now, that's the home in Miami. This wasn't just any phone. Data extraction confirmed it was Diddy's with his social media accounts and personal information all over it. The texts between Diddy and his associate DRock are straight up disturbing. In one, Diddy says, "Act like I'm not effing with her." Likely talking about Cassie Ventur, his ex-girlfriend, which you know is the central figure in this case. Drock replies, "I told everyone a fight broke out at the club. She won't tell nobody. I'll call you later." Another text has Diddy asking, "Does her black eye still look crazy?" with Drock saying, "She's right here blowing your phone up." These messages scream control. Diddy allegedly used DRock to manipulate Cassie, cover up incidents, and keep her in check. It was like he was running a playbook to mess with her head, not just dating her or her boss. Now, these texts didn't slide into evidence easily. Diddy's defense, led by Brian Steel, fought for three days to exclude them, arguing that they were too damaging, and I think they possibly could be. I mean, why argue something for 3 days unless you know it's going to be damning? They show Diddy orchestrating a narrative, making sure Cassie stayed under his thumb. Now, the prosecutions using these to prove a pattern of psychological manipulation where Diddy's team wasn't just loyal, they were complicit in everything that he did. Next up was Frank Piaza. Now, he's a forensic video expert who test who has testified in over 50 trials and charges $295 an hour. He's worked for the Southern District of New York over a 100 times, though 75% of his work is for defense teams. So he's no prosecution puppet. His job was to authenticate the March 5th, 2016 Intercontinental Hotel surveillance video. The one like we keep mentioning where Diddy seen chasing Cassie, throwing her to the ground, kicking her, and dragging her back, all while wearing a towel. Piaza analyzed both the hotel's footage and a cell phone video likely shot by security guard Israel Flores who happened to be the original like the first witness in this case. But the footage was shot on an iPhone 6. So basically he the security video was playing on a screen and he's filming this security video with his iPhone 6. He walked the jury through every frame explaining why the video looks so glitchy. The hotel's cameras were motion activated, only recording when there was movement, which caused all of these timestamp gap gaps, like jumping from 1113 to 1117 suddenly. Now, some clips played too fast. Only 22 of the 30 frames per second were captured, but Piaza fixed that speed. The pixelation, that's from a corrupted video stream, not tampering. But that is what the defense was trying to paint. that, you know, this video can't really be taken seriously or we don't know how it was manipulated because of the timestamp differences, because of the frame rates, like nothing was matching up. But of course, the expert was had an explanation for all of this and showed how he actually corrected this and showed that this was an authentic video. He was blunt. The he says the video accurately depicts what happened. No edits, no manipulation. He pointed out key moments. Diddy kicking Cassie, dragging her, captured from the lobby, elevator, and the hallway angles. The prosecution had him add black screens to mark timestamp skips so the jury wouldn't think it was like one non-stop attack. So, the video that we've seen, that's not the full video. Okay. This is what Diddy's team was trying to fight to actually have this video excluded from the trial because they said it was sped up. The timestamps were were wrong and the judge still allowed it because it's been authenticated by experts. Now, they are still fighting it though and trying to poke holes in it. But I think it's kind of crazy to do that because like even if there's like the time stamp or you know there's technology issues, the it's him doing this. He actually apologized. He made an apology video on Instagram, if you guys remember, saying that it was him, that he was sorry for what he did. So, I'm not sure why they are trying to poke holes in this when it's pretty clear and he's admitted and they've admitted that he's abused Cassie. So, I don't know where that's going to go. Then came the kicker. Piaza enhanced 10 explicit videos from Cassy's laptop filed under Frank Black. you know that alias that's tied to Diddy from the freakoff hotels and also that prescription bottle with the pink, we'll call it cocoa because we are being censored on YouTube. So, there's certain words I'm not saying anymore. And in fact, guys, we are posting everything over on my Patreon. Um, first, if you want to get these out because when we upload a video, YouTube like denies it. we're not able to put anything up and we do it over and over and finally it takes so long for someone to approve the video. So, we're putting them on the Patreon first as well as doing deep dives into other scandals and conspiracy theories, you know, all about the Hollywood elite, the music industry, the government, you name it, we're going to be getting into over there. So, if you're interested in that, if you want to support this channel and fight back against the censorship, the link will be in the description box below. But let's continue. So, these explicit videos that he found were from 2012 and 2014 and now are in evidence under seal and had their audio enhanced at the prosecution's request. Why? maybe to catch Cassy's please or Diddy's commands during the alleged pre-off sessions where he's accused of orchestrating those drugfueled encounters with the male workers. Now, the jury is set to see these, but everyone else won't. But I think it's going to hit them like a sledgehammer seeing these actual freakoffs. I especially with the details that we know about the peeing in Cassy's mouth, the hoursl long sessions, bleeding, like it was just a lot and it's pretty gross and I think it's going to be quite traumatic for some of those jury members. The final witness was Briana Vanolan or Bana as she's known. Now, she's a fashion designer and Cassy's friend since 2013. She met Cassie at a street wear company, bonding over fashion collabs at Young and Reckless. Now, her testimony was harrowing. Bonnet said that Diddy held her over a 17story balcony at Cassy's apartment, gripping her chest while others begged him to stop. Then, he tossed her onto a patio furniture, leaving her with a bruised leg, neck, and head pain. And she also says that she suffered night tears that she still can't shake. Now, in 2016 at Diddy's Malibu home, he got in her face and said, "I am the devil. I could kill you." But she was visibly shaken on the stand and actually the reports that say that she started crying. She also described a 2016 shopping trip with Cassie where Diddy texted Cassie a list of every stop, nail salons, stores without them telling him. He just knew, she said, and it creeped her out. Now, another time, Diddy barged into Cassy's place, banging on the door, and threw a knife at Cassie, who threw one who threw it back at him. Vana was caught in the middle and didn't call the cops because she said she was terrified of Diddy. She saw Cassie with a black eye before the 2016 Perfect Match premiere, backing up claims of physical abuse. And but she also admitted drugs were rampant. Pun said that they used cocoa, ketamine, GHB, all provided by Diddy. They also had oxy pills and that they were trying to quit, but it was very difficult to do so. She also said that she sold drugs to Cassie and Diddy, but that she also bought some for him. So all of them, she admitted freely that she was using drugs, Cassie was using drugs at this time, that they were all using drugs. And this can come into play to, you know, to maybe hurt her credibility, but this is one of the things that she was scared to testify to because, you know, admitting that you were heavily on drugs during this time. People could say, well, you don't remember correctly or, you know, are you sure that that's what happened? How can your memory be clear if you were using all of these drugs? But we know Cassie has admitted to drug use. Diddy's defense has admitted to his drug use. We've heard about all of his assistants buying drugs or keeping a bag full of drugs for him, especially for the freakall hotels. So, this was nothing new that came out, but it is a way that the defense could try to poke holes in her story. Here's the rub. Diddy's defense is scrambling to knock this evidence down, and they're throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. During cross-examination, attorney Tenny Geros went after Piaza, trying to muddy the video's reliability. She asked where the surveillance footage footage actually came from and Piana Piaza said the US attorney's office. When she pressed if he knew how they got it, he said no. Gyarados pounced, suggesting that the chain of custody was shaky. She pointed out the timestamp gaps like a bag didd he held dropping instantly or a ghostlike figure in the surveillance not seen in Flores's phone video that we've all seen. That's the one that actually went out publicly. Now, Piaza had answers. The system was motion activated and the phone video was too low quality. She even tried saying that the hotel system was cheap, but Piaza's notes only called it lowgrade, not unreliable. The defense's big moment, guys. It fizzled out with Bana. The defense is hinting that she's after money, possibly tying her to a civil suit that predates Cassy's. They're also suggesting her drug use. Admitted on the stand, like I said, clouds her memory or credibility. Diddy's team might argue Bonus claims like the balcony incident are exaggerated because she kept seeing Diddy afterwards. the text. They're framing them as typical relationship drama, not some conspiracy. But the problem is these attacks risk alienating the jury, especially when the evidence, like the hotel video they can see, is so visceral. Can the defense plant enough doubt to sway even one juror? Or are they just grasping at straws? The defense's bigger play might be juror fatigue, repeating the video, you know, over and over. And as juror reactions, you know, they have been noted by reporters, they suggest that some have just stopped watching because they've seen it so many times. And now that could numb the jury or sway someone to be a hold out. And that can help Diddy dodge actually being convicted in this case. Remember guys, you only need one. He only needs one person and he's going to go free. Let's dig deeper into what makes this day so explosive already. Those text messages aren't just gossip. They're a window into Diddy's alleged control tactics. The prosecution's arguing Diddy used people like Drock as extensions of himself, keeping Cassie isolated and monitored. A 2020 study in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence on Coercive Control describes this exact pattern. Abusers often manipulate victims social circles to limit their freedom. Drock's text, like telling Cassie there was a club fight to explain her injuries, suggests he was following Diddy's script. Now, people online are speculating that Diddy's inner circle was absolutely complicit in covering up the abuse. And these texts seem to back that up. But without Drock testifying, the defense can argue it's all speculation. We don't know if he's going to testify or not. Now, Piaza's testimony is a game changer because it shuts down Diddy's earlier claims that the hotel video was manipulated. After the footage leaked in May of 2024, like I told you guys, Diddy posted the apology video on Instagram, admitting he hit rock bottom and calling his actions inexcusable. That apology could be shown to the jury, tying him directly to the incident. Piaza's expertise, backed by his work on over a thousand forensic cases per his firm site, makes it tough for the defense to cry it's fake. His mention of the 10 enhanced videos from Cassy's laptop raises a lot of questions. These claims could show Diddy directing freakoffs with audio revealing nonconsensual acts. If true, it's dam. But the videos are sealed, so we're just left guessing what's going to happen. Now, Bon's testimony adds a human face to the horror. Her story of being dangled over a balcony align with other witnesses like Mia, who claimed Diddy's violence was erratic and terrifying. Bana's fear, still evident on the stand with her crying, mirrors the trauma experts call hypervigilance, a common PTSD symptom per the 2019 psychological trauma study. Now, her drug use, while a defense target, was contextualized by the prosecution as part of Diddy's World, where substances like GHB were allegedly supplied to keep the women compliant in the first place. So, a 2023 DEA report notes that GHB helps facilitate sexual assault, and that is exactly what Bana claims. And then also she, just so I can add this in, Bana admitting to the drug use, she was only willing to do that if she got immunity. She was afraid that they could come after her for something if she admitted that on the stand or she was going to plead the fifth. Now, this is the second person that we have heard of in this case, maybe even a third person who wanted immunity before they testified in case they were implicated in any kind of um any kind of criminal criminal activity. But this was like years ago. Some of this is a decade old. I don't think they would still be, you know, be subject to any type of criminal prosecution. But I think just to be safe, these people want to make sure they have it in writing from the government because one thing you cannot trust is just the government telling you, "Oh, we're not going to do anything." And then next thing you know, you're hung up to dry. The defensive strategy hinges on nitpicking, like timestamp discrepancies or Bana's delayed reporting. Gyaragos's focus on a ghost figure or a 5-second video gap. To be honest, it feels kind of desperate, especially when the footage clearly shows Diddy's aggression. A 2024 Forensic Science International article explains that motion activated cameras often skip frames supporting Piaza's testimony. The trial's defining moment today came when Pona broke down describing Diddy's balcony threat. He held me over a 17story drop and I thought I was going to die. She said this with her voice shaking. Then he threw me onto furniture and I still have nightmares. The courtroom went silent as she recounted Diddy calling himself the devil in Malibu. His face inches from hers. The raw fear coupled with the text showing Diddy's control and the undeniable video of him attacking Cassie hit like a gut punch. It's not just evidence. It's a vivid picture of a man who allegedly ruled through terror. And it's hard to unsee these things. So that was the morning of day 16. Guys, make sure that you are subscribed. Hit the notification bell because I will be giving you more throughout the day. I already did the morning transcript which will be should be on the screen here now. And now you have this recap. But again, if you want to support the work we're doing here, please head over to Patreon and support us. We could um really use your help and just like fighting back against this censorship. I've never seen anything like it. I've reported all types of things before, but somehow with this Diddy trial, it it's like I don't know what is going on, why I'm not able to freely talk about it without being censored. And it's crazy. As soon as I also started mentioning someone with the initials uh J E, who was similar to Diddy, I'm not even going to say his name anymore in here. That that seemed to what be what triggered it. I actually took a video I did about J down off of my channel because I wasn't sure if that's what was causing it. But that video is now back up on my Patreon. So again, the link is in the description box below and I will see you guys very shortly.
