all right so today I'm going to explain the difference between oversteer and understeer so oversteer is when the back of the car wants to slide so I've got my steering wheel here so say I'm going for a right hand corner you want to go into the corner like this of course it's going to be mirrored for you guys but go into the corner like this and if you have oversteer you'll end up with the steering wheel going like that so when the rear of the car wants to come around to the front and it's generally when you see all the cool drifts understeer is you guessed it the opposite so another right hand corner you turn like that and you get the Apex then you just need to keep turning turning because the front tires don't want to grip so that is the difference between overseer and understeer drivers have different preferences on on what they prefer of course a car that doesn't oversee or understeer is perfect but we very rarely get that
