short King which puts his dream of playing professional volleyball far Out Of Reach until one player changes everything for him while watching the national championships hainard sees the star player of the Caron crows living his dream nicknamed The Little Giant this short player seemed to be doing the impossible and to be thriving From This Moment On Hinata is inspired to go against the odds and fight for his [Music] dream Hinata enlists a rag tag bunch of middle school mates to try and compete in a volleyball tournament and it goes exactly as you'd expect terribly during this tournament he comes up against tobio kagiyama who is everything Hinata is not nicknamed the king of the Court volleyball comes as naturally to him as breathing and he has the heighten the athletic profile to accompany the inate skill Hinata is humiliated after his team smashing at the hands of kagiyama that actually doesn't bother him for long as he's about to have a fresh start Hinata is taking the first steps towards his dream by attending the famed karasuno High School home of the legendary karasuma Crow but there is one problem kakiyama has enrolled at caroso 2 this forces the two into a fierce rivalry one which will become the burning crucible that will drive Hinata kagiyama and karasuno to Untold Heights that's a ways off yet hinan and kagam are welcomed by third-year players Dai the stoic independable captain [Music] Asahi powerful and kind-hearted [Music] Ace and sugga the analytical and intelligent Setter the team also bows two passionate and energetic seconds the hyperactive hot-headed heart and soul Wings Spiker ranus Tanaka as well as the passionate temperamental Lio and karasuno's guardian de [Music] yoya finally the team also receives two more new recruits the ice cold and formidable blocker tsushima and the dedicated Yamaguchi kagiyama relies wholly on his innate ability trying to do everything himself hin knows next to nothing about the actual sport of volleyball he just wants to spike the ball to score as many points as [Music] possible the team is assembled games are just around the corner and Hinata and kagiyama are about to learn that despite their differences together they have a secret weapon that might just bring them to the Top If they can hold back from killing each other first while the two demonstrate great potential they're lacking some of the fundamental skills for a team sport like volleyball what's worse the legendary coach of the caroso crows who could have helped them develop has gone into retirement and in the years since the caroso crows have fallen from Grace the team are no longer taken seriously and are mockingly referred to as the flightless birds initially kagiyama has very little respect for Hinata but he can't deny his determination and freakish athletic ability Hinata is fast and what he lacks in height he makes upb with his powerful jump and athleticism given kagiyama absolute genius as a set he quickly becomes able to extract Hinata's Talent by being able to put the ball exactly in Hinata's hitting Arc no matter how fast he moves or how high he jumps this leads to Hinata and kagiyama freak quick a play which quickly puts karasuno back on the volleyball map as the newly integrated first years are trying to synergize with the rest of to the established team The Faculty adviser and head coach of the volleyball team arranges for the karasuno crows to join a training camp with their oldest Rivals the neoma [Music] cats the crows have a lot to learn from their old rivals the cats the strong bu middle blocker and Captain tets their wings Spiker no Yuki Kai Ken the seta maruki yaku Del Wing Spiker and Ace takor [Music] Yoto an outside hitter Shai fukunaga [Music] together the necac cats are one of the best teams in [Music] Japan it is on this training camp that Hinata meets kenma nekometa kenma is a quintessential introvert preferring to spend time on his own playing games rather than speaking to people despite his diminutive stature and relatively nonathletic profile kenma has a profound ability as a tactical play reader for the sport of volleyball he's often referred to as the heart and brain of the neom cats in contrast he is a Brash extrovert who wears his heart on his sleeve initially possessing almost no understanding of plays and tactics rather than their differences separating them the two strike up an unlikely friendship based on their complimentary strengths Hinata manages to bring out a competitive side did kenma he didn't even fully realize he has within him while kenma teaches Hinata the importance of strategy and anal is karasuno's practice games and H's friendship with kenma has enabled the crows to learn some important lessons from them but up until this point they still haven't played in a real game season 4 ended with karuno defeating the number two ranked School in Japan in araki featuring The Fame Maya twins who have a free quick similar to Hinata and kagiyama at the national championship their unexpected victory over a massive Powerhouse school has led them to their fated Rivals n com and this is where the movie begins we will finally get a chance to see Hinata and the crows face off against kenma and the cats their personal friendship and rivalry mirrors the long history of their teams making the stakes for this match higher than ever nikoma and karasuna are often referred to as fated Rivals because nikoma are called the cats and caruna the crows animals which are often found hanging around dumpsters the games are referred to as the battle of the garbage dump or dumpster battle which is where the film gets its title the film takes place after the fourth season of the series and is a continuation of the story in a similar fashion to how mugan train was in Demon Slayer all the events of this movie are Cannon many fans were expecting a fifth and final season and were surprised when it was announced that the story would end with two moves this being the first of those two the long weight has built a considerable amount of hype among the Western fan base this movie which was released in Japan back in February has already become a huge success the Production Studio behind the show in these movies is production IG who have an unbelievable pedigree when it comes to making anime films so to say that we are in the volleyball highq captures what it feels like to care about something so intensely that very little else in your life matters this is something a shares with another Sports Anime movie which continued
