The Bureau of Immigration confirmed that former Mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac, illegally left the country.
According to Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansinco, Guo did not pass through immigration authorities.
She traveled in July to Malaysia and from there went to Singapore.
Guo is listed in the Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order of the Department of Justice (DOJ) but she has no record in the Bureau of Immigration's database.
The DOJ has ordered an investigation into her departure and stated that those involved will be held accountable.

Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian insists that someone must be held accountable for Guo's departure.
He suspects that Guo had accomplices in her illegal exit.
