College Login Guide

Overview

This document provides instructions for logging in to ACES using Ellucian Ethos Identity, recovery steps, initial login setup, helpful contact numbers, and links to key resources.

Logging in to ACES

  • Go to the ACES login page and enter your User ID and password.
  • If you forget your password, use the password recovery link provided.
  • If unable to log in, contact the Help Desk for assistance (210-485-0555).
  • After logging in, access Web Services via the link on the bottom left of the Home Tab page.

First-Time Login Instructions

  • For first-time users, the default password is the first two letters of your last name (in CAPS) plus your birthdate (MMDDYY).
  • You can set up security questions using the provided link.

About ACES Portal

  • ACES is a secure portal for students, staff, and faculty to access applications with single sign-on.
  • ACES provides registration, financial aid, email, library access, online courses, and college news.
