what's going on guys in today's video I'm going to be explaining to you the talk forever drill and how I think this could transform your life so for those of you that are not aware of what this drill is it's a drill you're going to be practicing alone to get into a social flow and the way it works is that you're going to say a sentence and then from that sentence you're going to pick a word from that sentence and then use that word to craft a new sentence that is completely off topic it does not need to make logical sense to the previous sentence the whole point of this is is to get you into a social flow start getting you to think illogically as well as working on the skill set of just switching topics randomly which is ideally what you want to get really good at if you want to be able to hold conversations with women okay and one other thing I want to point out is if you're just starting out using the talk forever drill you're probably only going to try to do it I would set a timer for five minutes and then I would continuously practice the drill if you get to a point where you [ __ ] up and you lose your train of thought it's okay take a second and then start again just say a brand new random sentence like the plane just flew by and then you would take a sentence from there and and keep going so for those of you that can get through 5 minutes I would even then try to push yourself to do 10 minutes if you're struggling to get through 5 minutes my recommendation is slowing down your speech so if you're getting maybe after one or two minutes you start burning out the next time you do the drill start talking at a much slower speed because that will allow you more time to think about what your next sentence is going to be okay and by doing it at half speed you'll probably be able to hit 5 minutes and then once you can do that you want to start speeding it up until you can get it at normal talking speed and you can go for 5 minutes and then once you hit 5 minutes at normal speed try to push for 10 this drill is great for anytime you're not feeling in a social flow I like to do it before I'm going out if anybody ever comes out on boot camp that we do a 5 10 minute talk forever drill to a great way to just I mean it's a great drill to do if you're driving if you're about to go out if you're alone if you're feeling antisocial whenever so with that being said I'm going to go into the drill right now I'm not going to go for 10 minutes you don't need to sit here and watch me Babble for 10 minutes on but the timer is at it's coming up on 230 in a couple seconds so I'll try to go for 30 to 60 seconds just to give you an idea of what's going on I'm going to say a sentence like I'm currently wearing an orange shirt and I'm going to pick a word from that like orange and and then that word is going to start the next sentence or that that word is going to be used in the next sentence even if it doesn't make sense and you want to keep building off of that it's okay if you go a couple sentences on one topic but the whole goal of this is to be able to switch topics in an illogical manner okay so let's jump into this I'm currently wearing an orange shirt and orange is one of the fruits I actually used to be allergic to which reminds me I used to play soccer growing up and at halftimes the coaches would always bring out this bucket of sliced oranges I would be super dehydrated and I would just start eating all of these oranges and one thing about that that pissed me off I always got this the the oranges would to be stuck in my teeth and I I always used to wish I knew how to floss but I never could actually floss and then every time I would go to my dentist cuz my dentist was actually my uncle my mom's brother he would always tell me you need to floss Kyle you need to floss I never [ __ ] did it but you know what I did do actually was get into pickup I started going out doing cold approaches and I was so nervous almost as if I was traumatized by my first approach I remember it almost reminded me of when I watched this horror movie when I was really young it was called the ring I remember I went home and I was like I was traumatized from the movie because I was only like 10 years old at the time and actually one other thing I used to do when I was 10 years old was pick my nose a lot I was I don't know why I was like obsessed with doing it and I was weirded out because I wanted to do it in school but I was worried people were going to see me and there was like that talk of of the whole grade and that reminds me actually cuz when I was 11 this kid gave me a charlie horse in my knee in the middle of class and I actually broke down and started crying I was so embarrassed about it and one thing that I haven't done in a long time is I actually cried been in a relationship for a while and I was thinking about was like damn I don't know if my girlfriend's actually seen me cry recently or ever for that matter and it really had me thinking like I wonder if it's actually beneficial if this girl actually sees me cry at some point or should I just be this masculine dude that like never [ __ ] cries okay so that's a that's a little example I probably just went for about a minute but you could see how I'm went from oranges to soccer when I was younger to eating oranges to never flossing to my uncle to Uncle being my mom's brother and I never flossed but one thing I did do was get into pickup and I was really nervous doing it and I was traumatized from it which reminded me of a this movie The Ring that I was traumatized from when I watched when I was 12 years old or 10 years old which reminded me of middle school and that reminded me of being obsessed with picking my nose but I was embarrassed to do it at school which reminded me of being embarrassed about getting charlie horse in the leg and I broke down crying in front of the class I'm actually pretty impressed I was able to stem all of that and recite that back to you but that's how you do the talk forever drill so you want to practice doing that for at least five minutes you get really good at doing it for five minutes and then for those of you that can't do it you start doing it at half speed so right now I'm wearing an orange shirt and that reminds me because I used to eat oranges a lot when I was younger and also when I was younger I would play soccer so you do it at half speed until you can hit the timer until the timer goes off once you can start doing at 5 minutes you start doing at 10 minutes I recommend you do this drill every day I really recommend it's a great skill to be able to just switch topic especially if you practice it 10 20 minutes a day or right before you're going to go out you'll just be in a massive social flow and then anytime somebody says a topic you're just going to be very quick to just bird out the next line just like oh my God yeah we had a pajama party pajamas dude I haven't worn pajamas since I was like 12 but when I was 12 you know what I did do pick my nose okay so it's a good drill to start practicing talking with no filter getting into a great social flow use this on a daily basis or anytime you're feeling like you're not in a social flow thank me later see you in the next video peace out
