In this video, I'll show you how to make the easiest early game slime farm. Let's go! And here are the items you will need for this farm.
The first thing you will need is of course a swamp biome. Slime is spawned at night between the heights of 50 and 70. They spawn most often on a full moon and never on a new moon. So be sure to keep that in mind. Now take out some pilling blocks, go down, On the spot you want to build the farm, and press F3 and G. This will only work in the Java edition.
Same goes for the farm, so press F3 and G at the same time, and now you can see chunk borders. So go to the corners of the chunks, place blocks here. This farm will take 4 chunks in total.
And blocks here, and then the last block in here. And as you can see, inside these blocks we have a space of 4 chunks. Now you can press F3 and G again. Now from above the water, go 5 blocks up. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Do the same thing on all of these corners.
Now on the fifth block, place down some dirt or grass. You can use any block you'd want to, as long as they are full blocks, like these ones in here. So grass or dirt is not necessary, but I will use it because it's cheap. And once I've done that, Place some more blocks here and connect the grass along the sides in here like so.
Once that's done go stand on the grass and once again press F3 and G. And here in between the chunk borders we have to leave a four block gap like this one in here. So go here press F3 and G and leave a four block gap so two blocks. on both sides of the chunk as you can see, like that. Do the same thing in here on all of the four sides.
Once you have done that, go here and connect the grass or dirt here in the middle. Same goes for all of the sides. Inside these big squares, we will place down our building blocks.
These will be the spawning platforms for the slimes. And now take out your blocks and place a two-tall wall all the way around your platforms, your spawning platforms. You can save some blocks at the corners if you'd like to. And once again, you don't have to use stone. You can use any block you have at hand.
Then take out some slabs and place them on top of these walls. You can also use glass blocks. Any block is okay as long as mobs can't spawn on top of it. Don't place any light sources in here.
Because in swamp biomes, these lives don't spawn if the light level goes up. Okay, once you have done that, go to the sides and break these blocks, like that, and then go in here. And build the wall up.
Also place the slab up there. And then you have to go down here. I mean, this will be the tricky part, because, once again, you are in survival.
But you have to go up here, place 8 blocks, and stay down here. Go eight blocks out. So one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight.
Place some blocks here. You will place the water down in here. This will push the slimes in our killing area.
Build some side walls so the small slimes can drop down and then take out two buckets of water. Place the first one in here, second one in here and then refill your buckets from here and place one. In here as you can see the water stops right in here now place more blocks below here and then once again Go to the edge of here with these blocks right in there So six blocks out in total once again the sides And break these blocks.
And now do these three more times. Now take out your magma blocks and place them in here. So go four blocks out from the side and just place them all the way in here. This will help the slimes to die faster.
That sounds kind of awful, but yeah, that's how it is. You can also place them all the way up here if you'd like to, once you don't have to. Of course that will make the farm faster, so if you have extra magma blocks, why not, why not. The reason why we place these magma blocks in here is because sometimes the bigger slimes will get stuck here. They just try to go up and they won't stop.
But these magma blocks will kill them and the smaller slimes will go down here much more easily. Now place some blocks around here. Then place some fences in here.
And then we just need to open them. Now remove the temporary blocks and place them down in here. Like that. Then down here some more magma blocks. Then take out your last two buckets of water, place them here on the corners, and on this side break these two blocks.
Now take out the two slabs and place them up here. So when the slime dies in here, I will go through there. Now let's go outside.
We'll place down some blocks under here so the chest will be easier to place down. So take out two chests and two hoppers. Place the chest in here, go behind in here, crowds and right click the chest so the hopper will connect like that as you can see.
The same thing on this side. If you don't crouch, the hopper won't connect. Now take out two glass blocks and place them up here.
If you use glass blocks, you can still open the chest. And now once slimes die, the iris will go inside this chest. Let's try this out.
We take out a slimy spawn egg to show you what happens. The slimes will go down here. As you can see, they will die.
like that and the small slimes die and the hydas go inside the hoppers. So the next thing we have to do is the afk spot. This farm will only work if you're afking up in the sky. So if you go outside you can make a row of blocks from these magma blocks, make a line of blocks out As long as this block is in the same level as these magma blocks, we should be okay.
Then we need to go up 127 blocks. So that's one stack and 63 blocks in total. 127. So if you use scaffolding, you can just climb it up easily. But you can also use building blocks and some ladders.
That would work just as fine. Now from here, you have to go to the exact center of the farm. So place down a block here. To make this easier, press F3 and G. and find the exact center.
And this is how you get up to the AFK spot. Make yourself a safe room with a roof on top and also light this place up, so nothing can spawn up here and kill you. Also, if you don't place a roof above your head, phantoms will spawn during the night, if you haven't slept for like...
three days I think. So yeah, do that as well. And if you look down from here, you should see some slimes, and yes, we are absolutely right.
You might also get some other mob drops, which is also a plus, but that's only because we cannot light the area up. So we had to just deal with that. And look at that, one slide just fell down.
So here is the loot from three different knights. Knight one, Night 2 and night 3. So it's always a stack and a half of slime balls in a single night. It's not too bad because night only lasts for 10 minutes so in 10 minutes of afk you can expect a stack and a half of slime balls.
So anyways, thank you for watching. My name is Keimond, and I think you should watch this video next. Also, please subscribe.
That would be amazing. I'll see you at the next one. Bye bye!
