Installation Guide: Brother QL-700 Label Printer for GMG ProofControl

Required Hardware

• Label Printer: Brother QL-700
• Labels: Brother DK-22223, 50mm x 30.48m

Installation Steps

1. Insert Labels into Printer

   • Ensure the labels are correctly loaded into the Brother QL-700 printer.

2. Install Printer Driver

   • Download and install the printer driver from the following link: Printer Driver

3. Connect Printer to GMG ProofControl PC

   • Use a USB cable to connect the Brother QL-700 to the computer running GMG ProofControl.

4. Set Printer Properties

   • Navigate to Windows settings:
     • Go to Devices and Printers
     • Find and select Brother QL-700
   • Edit the printer properties:
     • Set Paper Size: 50mm
     • Set Length: 85mm
     • Prioritize print quality: 300 x 300 dpi

5. Start GMG ProofControl

   • Launch the GMG ProofControl software on your PC.

6. Set GMG ProofControl Options

   • Configure printer settings within the software:
     • Go to Printers
     • Select Spooler Printer for Labels: choose Brother QL-700
