Turning Makeup into Giant Makeup
Introduction
Experiment to turn regular-sized makeup products into giant versions
Attempt to complete a full makeup look using the giant products
Giant Beauty Blender
Inspired by a TikTok creator claiming it's easier to blend
Purchased from Amazon for $15
Made own giant foundation to use with Mega Blender
Giant Foundation
Created by combining 10 favorite foundations
Heated bottles to ease pouring, finally figured pouring worked best
Giant pump used to dispense
Usage of Mega Blender
Easier to blend larger areas like face and neck
Giant Powder
Giant powder container inspired by Oric branding
Attempted to use affordable powder sourced from multiple stores
Mixture of banana and translucent powders with added glitter
Total cost: $112
Large poof applicator from China (not delivered in time)
Outcome
Successfully applied giant powder, little goes a long way
Giant Blush
Inspired by a tiny version, used container meant for cookies/crackers
13 blushes from Five Below totaling $52
Scraped out and combined pressed blushes using rubbing alcohol
Result: Cream blush not fully dried but usable
Application
Used giant blush brushes
Created a pretty, peachy pink blush with gold shimmer
Giant Highlighter
Using a combination of cream texture and powder highlighters
Costing approximately $270
Formed into a functional large roll-on stick
Application
Used as both a face and body highlighter
Final product worked well
Giant Eyeshadow Palette
Based on a Bratz eyeshadow palette
Used bead organizer with 24 sections
Eyeshadow sourced for $110
Prepared by mixing and pressing powders
Application
Swatched all colors, very pigmented
Used regular brushes for application
Created a vibrant blue eye look
Giant Mascara
Based on a Maybelline mascara
Used PVC pipes and a hairbrush for applicator
Filled with black face paint for mascara formula
Application
Functional but awkward to use
Achieved visible results with both upper and lower lashes
Giant Lipstick
Inspired by a gold tube of lipstick
Made a container using spray paint and bedazzles
Combined several lipsticks into a single mold
Application
Color turned out coral, applied easily
Successful in achieving functional giant lipstick
Giant Lip Gloss
Plan involved Aquaphor and edible glitter
Made using PVC pipes and a paint roller
Application
Mixed glitter and Aquaphor, used for body glitter as well
Applicator fell into the container but still usable
Conclusion
Successfully created and used giant makeup products
Some challenges, but overall a fun and innovative experiment
