it gives me a great pleasure to introduce to some and present to others Mr deola adish Mr debish succeeded a very own Elder General sh my dearest son-in-law as a managing director and chief executive officer of WMA Bank PLC on October 1 2018 and retired in 2023 Mr deol is a fellow of The Institute of Charter accountants of Nigeria I'm not joking sometimes dynamites come in little packages when I read through your profile as long byi I've seen this man like he just went to one secondary school and then went to the best university and therefore that's all now I'm trying to tell you he went to unilac didn't go to any of those Mr deol de is a fellow of The Institute of Charter accountants of Nigeria icon and the charter Institute of Bankers of Nigeria cibn is also an associate of the chartered Institute of Taxation and computer professionals As registration Council of Nigeria and a member of The Institute of directors in addition he holds a master's degree in Business Administration that's a good place to appreciate someone who has done so much in you know Mr deol de was recently appointed by the federal government as a chairman of family home funds limited he also serves on the board of several Blue Chip companies if I list them you'll be so shocked fcmb I can list all of them when you going for your B Mach so is currently the founder and CEO of Black Crown advisory Services a company providing management technology and business advisory Consulting is happily married with Children is Memoir the transformation leader the Journey of a tech brother turned Bank CEO was launched on February 13 2024 in Lagos Nigeria I joined the lunch online I wasn't available I was in the UK and our own Elder ID enang a schoolmate of his at the Baptist Academy of baniko Lagos represented me of school it was after I read his book The transformational Leader the Journey of a tech brother turn CEO written especially for today's tech people and young entrepreneurs that I asked him to include us in his very busy schedule during this our first cgcc learning month Mr deol de is a faithful Christian that's what concerns me in all days I thank God for all the degrees but topic Reviving our capacities to dream again we salute you sir thank you so very much for coming I forgot to tell you that he has gone to Cambridge to give lecture about his so John and how he led womma bank and the years before he was CEO and after he was CEO let's put our hands together for the Lord this morning praise the Lord hallelujah it's um it's really a delight please sit down please it's it's really a delight to be here today and um I would really want to thank our father my mentor Pastor bakari for giving me this platform I do not take it for granted it's a it's it's it's a big thing for me and I also want to thank Mrs B also for for inviting us I want to thank everybody of course I would not want to uh start anything without acknowledging my boss Elder U I know he's not here but Madam is here [Applause] and my senior Elder ID enang and of course I also have a Mente here DEA so um when when I was given um when I was invited I was I said to myself this H this is a Ministry of very knowledgeable people so what am I going to come and say you know so well I guess I just pray to God to grant me the unction that well H whatever I'm going to say this morning that God will God would uh take control amen so uh this morning um we'll be talking about Reviving Reviving our capacity to dream very important topic at this point in time and um okay um basically we'll be looking at understanding god-given dreams basically um what what is god-given dreams you can have dreams I mean if you've gone to the club or if you've gone to watch a movie or whatever of course when you when you sleep you have dreams but we're talking about god-given dreams so how do we revive the capacity to dream in overcoming uh roadblocks to fulfilling our dreams how do we uh overcome roadblocks because there will always be roadblocks several examples in the Bible we're going to go through how do we build capacity it is one thing to dream you can dream and wake up in the morning I want to have a Rolls-Royce but um how do you get there there's a process I mean I listened to our father earlier in uh in the previous session there must be a process towards that and finally how do we activate and walk in that god-given dream I think those are the three elements we're going to be dealing with uh this morning dreams are God's way of Reviving purpose and directing our lives uh if we look at J Jeremiah 2911 Jeremiah 29:11 our plants God has given us plant yes for I know the thoughts that I think towards you says the Lord thought of peace and of and not of evil to give you an expected hand we can also see in the lives of Joseph you know the dreams that he had in Genesis 411 and of course in Genesis 429 Genesis 411 i' be nice I mean there I'm going there's going to be a lot of passages we're going to go through but we're not going to display all but this one 411 yeah and it came to pass at the end of two full years that Pharaoh had a dream and behold he stood by the river I think we just stay there but of course we all know the story I don't need to uh begin to uh elaborate on this he had a dream and basically the dream dream is about uh the dream is about uh cows okay seven cows that came and um of course uh very beautiful fat and all that and then afterwards another seven cows very ugly and lean and everything and they came in and they ate up the first and he was troubled he slept and woke up again and had another dream you know the same thing you know about grains good good grains were eaten all by the old you know the the the ugly ugly uh uh grains and he was worried and of course in the morning he asked and then of course the cup Bearer then remembered Joseph we will all be remembered at our right time because Joseph told him remember me in your kingdom you know don't for but he forgot and the man quickly came back to his senses I say oh I've committed something but I need to correct it now and they invited Joseph in he brought him in and of course we all know the story you know uh exactly what he said to the cup Bearer and the baker happened in the prison exactly the same thing so basically um ability to dream it's very very important um and we'll see we'll see as we move on um what are the characteristics of god-given Dreams one it must be bigger than you must be bigger than you must be bigger than you a god-given dream is bigger than any individual it is not about Personal Achievement but about fulfilling God's plan it's often bigger than our current capacity requiring Faith growth and total dependence on God of course we all know the story of Nehemiah Nehemiah was a cup Bearer um Jerusalem had been destroyed the walls have been destroyed and you know God laid it on his mind that he must build the walls back this was just a CA because we all know what the cob beara is you know in the palace is one that would taste the wine before the king drinks you know for God to lay such a big huge huge um thing on his heart you know so the dream must be bigger than you must be must be bigger than you I mean this ministry has produced great men and women of God you know somebody God laid it in somebody's somebody's mind I me could have done other things become an and be you know collecting big money all the political cases will be you know but this is what God laid in in his in his in his mind so the the dream must be bigger than you it requires faith it requires faith of course you know um faith is not something that we see um you know uh we can see that in Hebrews 11:1 111 and then of course Hebrews 11:13 please can we can we go on that god-given drink requires Faith most Heroes of Faith had no physical evidence that their dreams will come to pass but they hold on to God's words these are these all died in the faith not having received the promises but having seen them a far off were short of them embrac them and confess that they were strangers um no no I think this is not is this the right one okay okay okay pilgrims on theath so we can see Abraham is also an example in Genesis 21 verse 2 and 5 vers vers two and um verse 5 you know Abraham was named the father of Nations but it was childless even at 100 years it was childless you know so we can see I mean it was by faith that he received and also it's not always easy something sometimes despite having god-given dreams you will face opposition and setbacks this challenge es however prepare us at the uh uh the process is not just as import as as important as the promise Joseph had a dream but faced significant challenges on the way I mean it was it was imprisoned he was um sold to captivity you know um it was tempted you know was put in prison you know all sorts so there's always it's not an easy process if anybody believes oh because I've dreamt of this it's going to be an easy process it's not it's not true as also brings glory to God God will always say glory in everything God our God is a jealous God always wants to take glory for everything and um that is you can see that of course in the life of Joseph when when his brothers when his brothers bowed to him you can also see it when the father died you know and they all fell that Joseph was going to take a pound of Flesh was going to retaliate all the bad things they've done to him you know but Joseph told him that well let the glory of God be I'm not going to do anything to you people and all that so we can see we can see that um so um that is that is what we see um in terms of the characteristics of God must be bigger than you requires Faith it's not always an easy exercise it's not a process that has to be a process and it brings glory to God anything that brings glory to us or to man it's not it's not of God praise the Lord hallelujah so next slide please so I I think what we've done here also is the fact that we can also see um when we talk about the Old Testament there are examples examples of um dreamers in the Old Testament Joseph was one of them we've talked about Joseph um he dreams he dreamed of interpreting dreams uh he dreamed about him and his brothers you know and all that uh Daniel is also another Daniel interceded interceded for for his people I mean there was going to be destruction there was going to be war and he went in and you know had for 3 weeks he was you know having he he he he he prayed and fasted and all that and um you know uh God showed him that yes because of you I'm going to stop I'm going to this war is not going to happen again of course you also saw it um how he interpreted uh the dream of a king you know and all that so I'm not going to so that we because there a lot for us to cover um so that we don't um also the Maggi we can see that um the three wise men they were astrologers when the three wise men they astrologers when Jesus um when Jesus was born they all they were going to go back to aod and uh they had a dream and God told them not to go back to aod you know and then of course they they took they took a detto uh of course we we know all that you know uh Matthew 2:12 you can see that um so the and that was how um the child was protected from harm also so we can see Peter Peter also had a vision Peter's vision revealed that God's message of Salvation was for all people and not just Jews you know when he had went into trans and he saw like a carpet you know roll out and saw all sorts of animals and um the message was oh go and uh eat of and he was asking how would I how would I eat of uh uh you know an unclean animal and all that and that was when God showed him that look the the message is for all and not just for the Jews um so we can see that as well uh in the New Testament in today's world as well um we also have situations of dreamers um I would say that we should focus on the message and not the messenger because I know it could be controversial and that is what H Our Father our father in the Lord used to always say you know I watch most of all the um messages say focus on the messenger not the messenger uh we also have situations of dreamers today um of course you know what El L mosque is doing to the world today um Jeff Bezos uh Richard bankson and Sam Alman Alman is open AI uh chap um I know that um yes the the the the brief I got was that um uh my examples will be in the area of technology so I'm not going to I know there are examples all over you know different sectors but my focus there will be on technology so that we don't also say oh why am I talking tech tech tech tech you know so uh we all have all these are dreamers I mean when they started off uh they were not anywhere a number of them were School dropouts you know but they had the vision and God gave them the and again you might say oh does God give unbelievers dreams yes God gives God gave Pharaoh the dream God will always show something to you just basically to manifest himself you know and and to show his glory so basically um these are dreamers of today uh we also have so we we'll go on to the next which is Reviving our capacity to dream I Revive Our capacity to dream three things that we need to through a fresh word or Revelation through mentors and Destiny helpers and then through seasons of preparation and waiting those are the ways we can revive this dream God often reconnects us with our Dreams by reminding us of what he origin said he may speak through scripture a sermon a prophetic word or personal revelation to reignite the dream if you feel lost always return to God if you look at ABAC 2 2 ABAC 2 2 and 3 ABAC then the Lord answered answered me and said write the vision and make it plain on tablets that he may run who reads it okay so there's always a word through through the word of God we reading our word on daily basis uh meditating Revelation can come very very easily also it can be true mentors mentors and Destiny helpers very important mentors and Destiny helpers God places is people in our lives that can remind us of our calling offer wisdom and provide encouragement through tough times sometimes we need someone to challenge us or to reignite our faith in what God has spoken just as Jonathan did to David of course we all know the story of Jonathan I mean it was David's best friend um his father was going after was going to go and kill was going to kill David and of course he was the one that again you know so we all need one way or the other we all need support that support system ensure you surround yourself with God Godly mentors and encourag us who can help nobody is an island unto himself we nobody will say I dropped dropped from Heaven there's a process there's always a process for everything and um normally people help people I mean my own case I I dealt a lot about me mentor you know in my book um for me my life has been a life of uh having mentors all through all through seasons of my life uh you know so of course we all know I cannot I could never have been an MD but for General I could never have been an MD for for General so God uses people you know in any situation that you you you you you find yourself you know so um so let's let's let's always bear that at the back of our mind let surround ourselves with people who can add value to us again through seasons of preparation and waiting it's important through seasons of preparation and waiting delay does not mean denial God allows us to go through seasons of refinement and growth before we can fulfill our dreams Malachi 3:3 let's go to Malachi 3:3 he will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver he will purify the sons of Levi and PCH them as gold and silver that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness you can see that also in Zechariah 139 we can see that in seasons of waiting we develop character Faith patience you know uh uh and God that that God has given us make sure you do not make you do not mistake seasons of preparation for abandonment seasons of preparation we should not mistake it for abandonment we can see this very very clearly in the life of uh in the life of a soul when Saul you know was Samuel asked him to wait at gilga and of course time was going the Philistines were really really Gathering momentum and all that and um all his so started uh living You Know Jack and before you know what's going on his guy said I need to take things on myself and he he he he did uh an offering which was not and they always say obedience is better than um sacrifice so it lost out and of course God took away the Kingdom from him so it's important that we we know we're able to um uh understand this so the next thing really is why do dreams seem delayed or lost why do dreams seem delayed or lost life challenges and opposition after rece receiving a Dream from God sometimes life takes an unexpected turn you experience betrayal betrayal loss setbacks and opposition and this makes one question the authenticity of your dream Joseph had a dream that he he will become a ruler amongst his King instead it was sold to slavery instead it was sold to slavery so you could see you know things take different TS you know so um self-doubt and fear at times you just feel oh I can't this is too much for me we know the story of Moses you know Moses was uh was uh uh appointed to to save the children of Israel and he felt oh I'm a stara how how can I do this you know and all that so you could see um he wanted to hand over this to pass it on to Aeron but God said no you have to do it you know so um we need to look at it self-doubt at times we tend to underestimate ourselves God has given us the ability but we underestimate ourselves so it's important that we know this self-doubt and fear these are some of his things that could lead us into Sin Sin and disobedience is also a major one Joseph had a had a dream but if Joseph had been disloyal to to the master you know and uh succumb to Portia's request he would have derailed and he would probably not the dream would not have met so sin and Disobedience you know is also a major major um the story of Jonah is also very clear to all of us I mean we all know the story of Jonah he was asked to go in one direction to nineve and he went in another Direction you know of course we know all we all know what happened you know um in the on on on on the in the on the journey so sin and disobedience is also very very key you know we need to then God's perfect timing we need to understand God's perfect timing you know God's perfect timing sometimes it feels like God has forgotten us this is because God works according to his Divine timeline and not ours Works according to his own Divine timeline are not ours and we can see that in the story of Abraham and Sarah Abraham and Sarah they waited on God for decades it was 100 years when they had the first son you know so um it's important that we that we know this overcoming roadblocks to fulfilling our Dream overcoming roadblocks to fulfilling our dreams fear fear stands for false evidence appearing real it is one of the most powerful tools that the devil uses to stop people from stepping into their God ordained purpose fear is not a a spirit it is not from God of course you see second Timothy 1:7 we have not been given the spirit of fear God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind so we can see that overcoming fear requires us to trust God God's powers and not our own abilities always lean on God's um uh understand lean on you should not lean on our own understanding but understand Proverbs 35 and six remember if God has given you the dream he will equip you with the means to fulfill that dream always know that you know impatience one of the hardest parts of achieving a dream is waiting for God's timing a number of us are in our hurry we want to get it done but there is always a time for everything and when that time comes you will have peace you know everything will come smoothly you're not going to fight over it you're not going to struggle over it you know um so it's uh it's important that we we note that and when we feel like things are taking too long to to to fall into place we are often tempted said to force things to happen therefore causing unnecessary complications um delays or even the loss of God's presence I mean I've talked about the story of um uh uh the story of Saul always hold on to God's word and wait for his timing because God's timing is perfect God's timing is perfect external opposition external opposition I mean we we all know the story of Nehemiah when he was trying to build the walls of Jerusalem and we know that um sambalat to and Tobias you know they they are councel you know when we are praying we always say we pray against the the all councils of sambalat and tobas we put it to NS in Jesus name so they try to disc encourage him to distract him you know from carrying on that um that role and of course we all know at the end of the day God's glory um showing spiritual warfare spiritual warfare we are constantly in battle um not all delays or obstacles are natural you know um some Are Spiritual the natural ones were the the ones that will normally take their process you need to you cannot become uh an Olympic medalist if you do not if you do not uh practice and work towards it but then when you have done everything that you have done that you need to do practic and all that you are ready to go and then the spiritual side of it will be some group of people coming and um trying to walk against that's the spiritual side of things and we must always always walk work work and how do we deal with that by constantly being in war in war Battle you know um breakthroughs will definitely come we have to pray we have to fast we have to stand firm in our faith you know for this to happen of course we see Daniel we can see the story of Daniel when um there was going to be War I mean God revealed that there was going to be War you know and um he went he interceded for three weeks of fasting and all that and um of course when he went into trans and he went into and they saw a vision and the angel was telling him that look uh we have had all these things but somewhere along the line you know there was Battle again you know some people did not want this to happen and Angel Michel came to my to our rescue when were all this were happening in the spiritual realm you know so there's always that spiritual side of things you know so it's a spiritual warfare and we must not be naive to it you know we can do everything at times you say oh I've done everything that I need to do but still something went drong you know so always let's all be um uh mindful of the fact that yes um that that can happen Matthew 17 verse 19- 21 I've talked about the story of Daniel then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said why could Would we not cast it out then Jesus said to them because of your unbelief and assur and assuredly I say to you if you have faith as little as as a mustard seed you will say to this mountain move from here and it will move and nothing will be impossible praise the Lord hallelujah so we can see spiritual warfare is also an another another thing that we need to deal with in dealing with obstacles to achieving our dreams building capacity for fulfilling our dreams it is one thing to understand that this is a dream it is one thing to understand how to also uh Revive Our capacity to dream it is one thing to understand that yes uh roadblocks will come and um in fulfilling your dreams and you need to be able to overcome it but then building capacity is also a major major part of of um of fulfilling dreams building capacity so when we talk about fulfilling I mean building capacity we need to grow spiritually I've talked about two sides as the natural side and to the spiritual side we need to grow spiritually you know uh we need to develop our skills we need to build character very important and we need to form the right connections the right connections now talking about growing spiritually a god-given dream is birthed in faith and sustained through consistent spiritual growth we can see that in First Peter two verse two can we flash that as newborn babies desire the pure milk of of the world that you may grow thereby so basically as newborn babies we need we need we need um we need to grow spiritually so it's important that you ground ourselves in the world and to achieve this growth you need to see God's wisdom wisdom I mean Pastor was talking earlier in the day about wisdom wisdom is very very we should not lean on our own understanding but on God's wisdom very very important james: 15 uh we can see that in james: 15 see that James 1: 15 if any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to you to him so we can see that very very clearly you know Romans 10:17 also Romans 10:17 see then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God note that a weak spiritual life will hinder your dream from being fulfilled andure to build a strong relationship with God you must ensure that we build a strong relationship with God daily developing skills very very important I mean yesterday I listened even though I was in E you know but I Tred to just listen through the AI discussion you know and all that very interesting discussion um there's really not much to add to that you know uh rather than just encourage us you know um having a dream without making the necessary preparations is a recipe for frustration it's a recipe for frustration is important I mean uh all the examples I mean the examples pastor used earlier in the day you know these are things that flow with u with this portion of U we need to develop our skills it's very important um Matthew 2 Matthew 7 26-27 but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does and does and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on Sand and the rain descended and the flood came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall so it's important uh that we if you build a house of course you don't have the proper Foundation uh clearly is going to crumble God often gives us small responsibilities as training grounds for greater assignments um he uses seasons of waiting to to learn use the seasons of to learn grow and and sharpen our abilities prepare preparation determines how well you know you handle your dream it's important you know that um we note um all this uh today we talk about developing Tech skills uh in AI um leadership you know we develop our hard and soft skills in leadership to be able to um survive the current situation u i remember um talking about AI I remember about in the in the mid 80s When I Was An undergraduate at um unilag I mean Bill Gates you know I would say then that AI was coming was we were discuss were always treating them in um subjects in conceptual theory was everything was conceptual everything about AI was conceptual but today it is reality you know today it is reality 30 over 30 years after it is reality then we are discussing very very high esoteric stuff was in the air you know how the computer will take over humans you know and all that you know but today it has come to pass that's the dream you know and today we have all of us we are been encouraged to pick up skills in this space virtually anything it's so scary you know in terms of um this technology that anything can anything can happen you can have a TV station and you are running you think there are human beings are talking to you but they actually you know uh so it's it's it's so scary so scary you know in terms of but again let us use the good side of it as there's a bad side of Technology there's a good side of Technology let us Focus was on the good good side of it to be able to um so it was um kudos to the presenters yesterday you know um building character this is by far the most important part of of all this building character God does not just prepare us for for dreams he prepares us as individuals as well um anybody can dream you know you know but for a god-given dream God will prepare us if he has destined you for something he will definitely prepare you for it you know um so so one should not um without the right character success can destroy us the without the right character success can destroy us success can we we see that in the story of Samson we don't need to go into it but we see that in the story of in Judges 13 um chapter 13-6 you know God values Integrity humility obedience resilience and faithfulness to his word Luke 1610 I think we should look at that Luke 16:10 he who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much so we can see we we remember the weight of the responsibility that comes with a dream you know uh requires maturity um if you do not have the right maturity Joseph if Joseph had uh conceded to Piper's request we will not be talking about Joseph's testimony today character is important he was loyal to his to his boss you know and he showed a lot of resilience you know when being pushed so I think it's important that we uh we know this building the right character I think is very very key you know and then forming the right connections forming no one fulfills a dream alone you will need people around you when nemiah got the dream he he had to socialize with everybody around and one thing that is very important is that the B Bible there's nothing that we talk about in leadership today that is not in the Bible all the we all go to school we say oh the functions of a manager the functions of a leader you know all the attributes of everything without fail is in the Bible you know today um so forming the right connections is also a very very key very key thing you know um people must speak for you at the table you will not be there when decisions are being taken you know so we must form the right connections uh that's again that links back to the issue of mentoring you know have mentors uh also it's not just enough to have mentors you also must give back by mentoring people you know uh I have couple of mentees all over all over the globe you know that you have to um be able to let them see you in them see you in them you know and then you again it's not about um trying to force anything on anybody but being able to be the right I talk about building character the character must appeal to them somebody who wants a mentor must see something that he likes in you you know so it's important also form the right connections um uh as I said nobody is an island nobody just drops from anywhere if you say Oh I'm great today because I worked hard or I'm this this and that it's a lie you know um it's important to form the right connections and be accountable to someone who will push you towards achieving your God dreams accountability Partners we always talk about accountability Partners you must have an accountability partner who can look at you and tell you that look this is not right not those who will suck up to you because they need favors or what have you you you must have it's important that we have we have that Proverbs 27:17 Proverbs 27 iron sharenet higher it's important so a man sharpens the countenance of his friends the right relationships will push you forward while the wrong relationships will stagnate or destroy your dream it's important that um uh we we not this and I've have seen a lot of all this in my career you know working up to uh to being the CEO of a bank I can see a lot of things that have happened you know but again um one should be firm and um stay close to God in all situations um so the next thing I think the last portion of it is activate and walking in your god-given dreams um activating and walking in your god-given dreams and basically the things we're going to be talking about here just four things and then we can then go into some live examples um the following steps are necessary for you to to activate um your god-given dreams seek God for refreshing a fresh Revelation and write down your dreams and plan um write down your dreams and plans abacos 22 um I think we we dealt with abacos 23 earlier Abacus 22 then the Lord answered me and said write the vision and make it I make it plain on tablets that he may run who reads it um so we can see it's important that um you seek for fresh Revelation on daily basis in everything that we do and then surround ourselves with Dream Builders and not dream Killers Dream Builders are not dream Killers those who say oh what's don't you know that you stammer you say you want to be an eloquent speaker you know and all that you so anything you want to do but you do you're know you we are very poor in mathematics and you want to go into the Sciences you know things like that you know you know or you want to you want to you want to build an edifice and you don't have the funding to be able to do it you know I mean we saw the case of Nehemiah you know uh nemiah sought sought sought God's favor and was able to get the favor from the King to be able to amass some of the things that they will need you know the ingredients to be able to build you know the the wall and then it's important that we take small steps small steps small steps small steps I mean uh Pastor mentioned earlier uh you want to I mean it's not as if you can't afford a brand new car but start from somewhere you know and you know begin to see I remember in those days uh in ched Bank you know by 5:00 everybody is a we have a a number of us you know Mr L three myself you you know quite a number of us B I was using a B I think he had a b at that time too you know so by 5 we all come out we are already signaling to ourselves that it's time to go and push you know and when you are parking in the morning you park in a [Music] slopy so when you so when you signal yourselves you know you all come out you push for me I push for you you know so and then we take off you know so I mean there must be when you see somebody today is using a Range Rover and uh you know after 30 years you and nobody's you want to you grow up you're just getting you want to ride a Range Rover you know you know it takes uh so really uh it's let's go small steps very important Joshua 1 19 very very clear Joshua James 21:17 also speaks to this let's stay persistent and expectant Anna we can see this in life of Anna he was constantly going to shillu constantly you know um I know time is not of it's not on our side but then we just quickly I'm almost done um again I talked about talking about dreams um the story of Al lart um I won't go into too more details you know on this but of course uh a dream uh our general got a dream and we all K into this dream and we made it happen you know um when nobody thought of anything all the big Banks had all the funding to be able to do things like this but because they had money coming in so there was no pain point for them we had if we never did this probably there will be no WMA bank today you know and there's no amount of funding of branding costs branding CS that you do to paint things good that will work people saw WMA as a old grandfather Bank you know nobody wanted to touch it but all lot changed the course you know uh the vision of [Applause] somebody and we also by God's grace also the project manager on the project da ad is also in this church so that's why I said you know this is a church of dreamers you know so I'm god-given dreams so really um I don't want to go too much into there are so many aspects so many dimensions of alerts that when I give speaking engagements everywhere we speak to how do you manage people how do you handle text how do you handle genes and all these things you know in coming up with things like this how do you handle cultural issues but again this was one story the other bit also is um there are stories of Nigerian companies fex all these young folks that are doing great things today you know um you can see their trajectory in terms of the things that they've done the achievements you know when they started to when where they are now today um one good example I want I mean you have um flter away money Point Cuda uh pack Fair money you know uh I'll take the story of um pack These Are Young Folks of them you know came out of Babcock and uh see what they've done came up with a processing Payment Processing service and today they've been acquired by stripe stripe is a Global Payments engine $200 million you know Young Folks you know um probably not in their they're not 30 yet so so you can imagine so these are just examples that's just one example several examples that one can give um the other bit on the global the Titans on the global the global scene I mean these are people I mean a case of Tesla Tesla was making losses of 154 million in 2010 $154 million today Tesla is making $154 million every 6 days you know Apple they were making losses of $816 million doar in 2010 in 2025 Apple makes $860 million every 4 days you know so you can imagine you can just go on and on and on and on and on you know so it's um Amazon you know uh is the biggest IT company in frastructure and everything today um in 2010 they were were making a loss of 1 .4 billion today they are making 1.4 billion every day so I mean we can imagine these are just you know examples you know um let's leave technology in the social space as well you know we have also people who are also holding their forth uh we know the story of uh Nelson Mandela you know who fought for his people we know the story of Malala uh and of course we know the story of our own Pastor bakar you know so I brought this in so that I don't think that oh there are no dreamers here too you know the right the right Brothers you know the were guys who invented the the plane you know so all these are stories that we keep we'll keep seeing you know um so I can I mean go on and on and on so really I mean like Nelson Mandela like Nessie Mandela um Joseph had a dream of leadership and a bright future even when facing immense challenges like betrayal and imprisonment his resilience and faith in God's in God's plan ultimately led him to a position in of power um we see Malala of course we all know the story of Malala I won't go into that but then I can link that all based on his inadequacies and all that she she was you know working for our people for the girls Moses had a vision like that liberating his people of course he had challenges you know but God still saw saw him through um the right Brothers of course I've talked about that um and of course I will just conclude and the conclusion really is the attributes you need the most is not the will to start it is the steadfastness to remain it is not the capacity to dream it is the courage to deal with the nightmares and still continue day after day may God help all of us as we try to fulfill our dreams amen give God the glory for everything and I want to again thank um a pastor for giving me this opportunity let's pray Heavenly Father we thank you for this time father Lord God Almighty we thank you Father for the unction to speak father Lord God Almighty we also thank god father for the hearers we pray Lord God that this word will not go without being fulfilled in the name of Jesus that indeed oh Lord father what you've started you will complete the dreams that you've given us oh Lord father will be fulfilled in the name of Jesus thank you Father Lord give all the Praises for in time I had to stop writing I would definitely get all the slides but I don't know how to do slides so I'll first learn how to use slides and then how to present in the professional manner like you did maybe I will not be jabing and talking and singing Everything I be all the time let's appreciate it one more time Hallelujah God's giving dream must be bigger than you are it requires faith is not always easy but it will always bring glory to God how can I quickly forget that I can you quickly forget that regardless of what happens you know without a doubt that the process is just as important as a promise it's like I never had that before I will tell you no process no progress but I'm adding to that today the process is just as important as a promise without the right character success can destroy us God forbid that we are destroyed by success may God grant us Grace to be able to maintain what we have obtained in the mighty name of Jesus Jesus having gone to Bible College I think you should now be ordained Pastor if they don't do it at for S we'll invite you here to do it I spoke to your pastor yesterday and he spoke very eloquently and excellently about you and your wife it was him that told me that once a deacon is a global phenomenon I had to to ask him what and what uh functions do they do in church and this and that and you mentioned it you will not be there at the table
