come on praise the Lord hallelujah hallelujah oh bless him hallelujah come on bless the Lord hallelujah we are so grateful and so thankful for who God is and let me say uh again to all of our fathers happy Father's Day thank y'all so much for for the public affirmation please be seated thank you so much though for that and and I don't want you to miss it i know I said let me say first of all thank you to the men that were with us on yesterday at Bread of Life uh for their men's day we had a good time over there and I I I just want you to understand I said something to their men uh and it applies to all of us amen it's not about that i said only in church we have to explain things praise God only in church we have to explain what we do why we do it it's amazing we've been uh even yesterday at intercessory prayer pastor Sheila alluded to the fact that no one at least to my knowledge has ever blamed Buddha for anything nobody's blaming Krishna if you want to know who the real God is the real God is the one that gets blamed for things that you don't like are y'all listening to me nobody's y'all quiet nobody has ever blamed Krishna for their mother dying but we got people that won't come back to church because their parent went home to be with the Lord i didn't say they died and went to hell they actually went to heaven and you're still mad at God but you haven't blamed Buddha you haven't blamed you haven't blamed Allah you haven't blamed the door knob you worship but you blame the almighty God and here's how good he is he can handle your blame he can handle it are y'all listening to me i said he can handle your blame so I'm saying this to those of you who might say "That's too much that's too much." Here's the thing uh I remember you know my dad I know he was lying and I didn't realize he was lying until I got older when he used to say he walked five miles both ways in the snow uphill you know with with no shoes on get an apple for Christmas and they were grateful for it he was lying i didn't know it he was lying though but I understand what his point was if you learn how to be grateful in the little things right if you be grateful in the little things the Bible lets us know this is how God whether you believe it or not this is one of the ways God checks your heart to see if you can handle more because the Bible says if we'll be faithful over a few things then he'll make us ruler the reason so many watch this not atheist not even homosexuals lesbians not not m The reason so many Christians struggle in the area of money more than any other that's the area you've yet to show God you're faithful in and it's not tithe and offering because your Bible says that he will give you seed to seed to sew bread for food but then it also says a couple of verses before that it says and he will make all grace abound not just so you'll have enough for you but it then at the last piece of that is and every charitable donation amen and so I I say that because I'm so grateful i'm thankful to all of you for all of the gifts you know it's not I don't want you to ever miss it it's not about that but it does say something when a person will be willing to honor somebody else you know what I mean i I I don't know about you i'm going say this and I got to get out of the way so we can get to work but I I don't I I pray to God I don't go to another funeral we got to pull somebody off the casket usually the one that don't want the casket closed didn't honor the one that was laying in there while they were breathing the reason you don't want the funeral to end is because you're now dealing with the reality you didn't honor them when they were alive so I I I pray to God I'm here a long time amen i I got some living to do but I will say this Adrian if you're still here before before the Lord comes and I go first don't let them stand in line to look at me if they didn't stand in line to honor me [Applause] did he say that yeah i I'm I it's grieving lines wrapped around the building to look at a corpse are y'all here and so I thank God for our church i really do i appreciate you and I love y'all i really do i'm so grateful and thank God for you i want to say again um if your dad is alive you understand people say "I don't have a relationship with my dad." Hello somebody that I'm I'm talking about me so y'all don't get swole so those of you who bought your dad one you got time if the store open take it back take it back your daddy don't want no daffy duck around his neck hello ain't no men up in here quacking come on we we're we're we are the tribe of the line of Judah at least get him Simba or or Mufasa you went and got him a duck are y'all here don't be buying no man no Mickey Mouse stuff we grown men up in here amen we're grown men listen I love y'all let's get ready let's get ready uh for the word and And again y'all keep Listen I I I'm on a serious note i was serious about the other stuff too but um continue to be praying the warfare is intense are y'all listening to me the warfare is intense our dear brother uh Bishop uh Charles he's the one a couple years ago remember he came here he had had a stroke he should not have lived the doctors even told him they're not sure how he lived and and yet uh he came here and preached for us and then just last week or so he had two more uh strokes now he's doing better but we need to keep praying sometimes I think what we'll do is we'll pray we'll pray a person to their miracle we got to learn how to pray people through their through this thing you understand because if God bring them up they're still here so keep praying that's just one example that's that's him but there's so many uh uh Elder Snider just told me his brother has been diagnosed with some rare uh blood cancer or whatever it is and again we don't mind the diagnosis we don't even mind if it's real what we understand is the word of the Lord asks us whose report will you believe amen whose report will you believe i want to charge you to believe the report of the Lord if you don't know what the report of the Lord is open your Bible and find out what God said concerning you and healing amen because the doctor can say you got six months to live you actually start preparing to die the Bible says life is but a vapor and you live like you're going to be here forever whose report are you going to believe we need to be prepared to die but I'm prepared to die only because death is the gateway to me living forever hello somebody it's the gateway so y'all listen let's celebrate your dad if you haven't called him yet don't do it during service it's too late now don't do it during service but you reach out to him and listen don't love on him any less than you did your mom and I don't want to hear he left me you still breathing so you have an opportunity not to leave him amen reach out and tell him a happy father say "Y'all come on i'm ready now babe i got all that out." [Music] My my my He's the only one that won't i said he's the only one that won't hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah he's the only one he's the only one one of the things I love about pastoring is the opportunity to help people and to speak into people's lives to be there for them but what we many times fail to realize is your pastor is human and people get bothered with people who fail but that's that's what we do not even on purpose but the scripture says the scripture says that if he were to mark our iniquities we wouldn't be able to stand yeah that that already tells you that you going to mess up even though you're not trying then the other scripture says he already knows my frame that I'm just dust meaning he already knows I'm not going to put all of my trust in man because man will let me down what amazes me is how I can be done with you Lisa because you let me down but never trust God who will never ever ever fail we got folk that have missed it you've put your faith in man instead of your faith in God if I put my faith in God then even if I mess up this is the part I love about him not failing not he won't fail even if I do he won't fail to restore me when I do if I just repent he won't fail he cannot he will not he won't fail listen let's get in the word let's get in the word i I I am grateful i can't hear myself though hallelujah but I'm I'm you know I'm I'm thankful nonetheless amen i can hear myself but I can't hear myself through the mic let me say it that way i'm not losing my hearing praise the Lord amen amen but y'all go with me to Hebrews chapter 4 and again I'm so grateful to all of you uh on this Father's Day Sunday how many of you woke up this morning and thanked your father oh my I woke up this morning you know and and please don't take this the wrong way people like man my dad died and you know my mom's not here and I understand that it's it's and I my my heart is sensitive to that so I'm definitely not uh speaking light Lord Little concerning that you know my father went home to be with the Lord in October of 20 uh 20 three 2003 20003 i'll never forget it i was in a church service when we got the news and so I understand it but I didn't say my daddy died i said my father went home with the Lord to be with the Lord and what my dad did before he left here was show his son how to also join him one day so before I before I get all sad cuz I can't call him and wish him a happy Father's Day what I'll do instead is thank the father that saved my father y'all ain't talking back to me that gave my father the will to tell his son about the father that saved him and so I thank God for the dime I had with my dad i don't want y'all to get all sad and down because either your dad's not here or you don't have the relationship you want there is a father and he won't fail oh yeah how about wishing him a happy father's day watch this and and because he's our father when you wake up in the morning you can do it again because today is the day that the Lord has made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it so whether it's on Father's Day Mother's Day Granddaddy Day depression day Pride Day s this is the day come on give God a happy Father's Day shot hallelujah hallelujah but Hebrews chapter 4 you know and I say this last thing i'm I'm I promise you we're going to share something i my dad he's gone my the the patriarch of my family most of y'all know my uncle um and I thought about him because you know my my dad's been gone and he reminded me a lot of my my my big mama his mom was my big mama and um my big mama had she had a brother i didn't know him that well but her sister aunt Chris they were close and my big mama went home to be with the Lord before my aunt Chris did so Aunt Chris kind of stepped in you know what I'm saying she didn't take over she just kind of stepped in and and my dad's been gone now like I said over 20 years uh but then my uncle I'm so grateful that even before my dad died that my uncle and my father had relationship with the Lord i don't know if y'all understand how serious that is to me i I listen we need to get saved man and so I just want to say to my uncle happy Father's Day to you as well to my uncle amen and it's a personal say "Well pastor what about me?" Well take your mirror out and and and prophesy to yourself come on man you know I just want to do that because again we we we funerals i just left one sir one on Wednesday i was just in one i wasn't in church Wednesday night cuz I was at a funeral on Wednesday and that funeral is longer than any church service I've been in for a while are y'all listening to me and the sad thing is that young man has gone home but but what's crazy is we waited till then and everybody in the building had something to say i'm like how many of y'all called that man last week how many of y'all acknowledged his birthday on his birthday now don't tell about how remember when we were six he was 42 young man yes sir yes sir young man y'all hear me yes sir so don't don't don't live with regrets get it out now get it out hebrews chapter 4 that was my last one verse number 12 y'all all right hebrews chapter 4 verse number 12 and the word of the Lord declares out of the King James version it says "For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the dividing of sunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner." I knew it was in June but so I I got you i tell you what I'mma wait till after after my birthday i just give you back what you give me i'm joking i'm joking babe that's majority i can joke with my Jordan so that I can joke but happy happy father's day but it is a lot of birthdays and around this time June is just you know that's all I'm saying praise the Lord praise the Lord but anyway anyway um I know normally I do a Father's Day message and I'm not doing one today uh for one because I'm this this Marismos has just been really hitting us where we we need to get hit right that's one but then we have our men's conference this upcoming weekend so we'll we'll have plenty of time to deal with the brothers and fathers singles and all of that this weekend so I want to continue with the marriage most teaching today but I want to talk about uh from that thought we want to deal with the pneumaticose man the pneumaticose man the pneumaticose the numaticose man are y'all there yeah the the pneumaticose man and it it's a Greek word but the reason uh we're dealing with it today you'll see in just a moment the pumaticose man because the Bible says this according to um the scripture the word that that that Greek word pneumatic it is actually it literally means to be spiritled or spiritual to be spiritledd or to be spiritual and and today what we want to focus on because so many of us so many um of us saved born again believers are carnal it's it's it's it's almost it's almost to the degree that carnality is so strong in the church the spiritual person is called the weird Christian right the person that actually quotes scripture on a off day is called deep and wonderful that's like me being being my wife's husband on Sundays Wednesdays Saturdays and any other service we might have but on the day we don't have service I take my wedding ring off and just go out there and see if I can get another woman that is now everybody understand that so how is it that you only live right on Sundays Wednesdays some Saturdays the Saturday you decide to come to prayer or any other service that we might have ask the question you understand it's as foolish as a matter of fact it's more so foolish than that because I cannot not be the only way she cannot be my wife is that we legally end the marriage one of us dies she's still my wife i'm just a widow or she's a I'm a widowerower or she's a widow right so the only way we end it is by divorce so think about this i said it that way because die division i want you to focus on what divorce really is it's a division of a covenant right so divorce now watch this it's so if I'm going to be spiritual once a week I literally divorce my spirit every week how in the No wonder why we're in so much pain i'm separating myself from the very thing that keeps me whole he won't I'm sorry i thought we probably sing some more y'all still here so the pneumaticose man spiritledd or spiritual man remember we were first the spirit god is spirit he created us in his image and after his likeness he is spirit so before you ever had a soul before you were ever put in the body you were and still are spirit that's right so pneumaticose is allowing that spirit who you are to lead all right y'all still with me okay now watch this because the when we talk about the meism most remember I told you before the marriage most teaching is a deep teaching but we can sum the meism most up in Jesus Christ in he in in Luke chapter 12 just write it down because I want to get somewhere y'all haven't started my clock yet that now that's a father's day gift that I appreciate but I just don't want y'all looking at me crazy later amen and saying pastor no I'm going by what I see up there I don't see nothing so don't fix it don't fix it leave it alone it's all good with Matthew chapter listen in in Luke I'm sorry in Luke don't go there just write this down Luke 12:51 the Bible says Jesus says suppose you that I am come to give peace on earth he says I tell you no I came to watch this rather I came for division that division he came for division what's the division I came to take things apart not put things together why because if you put the wrong piece with the together with the wrong piece you still got a bigger problem so what I've come to do is separate so we could properly identify and put it back together again the way it should be put together in Matthew chapter 16 Jesus asked his disciples "Who do who do men say I the son of man am?" And y'all know the paricipe they go to this they say "Thou art." Some say you're this some say you're that and then Peter said "Thou art the Christ the son of the living God." Jesus said "Flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you but my father." Because revelation comes from the father but then in chapter 17 about six days later the Bible says Jesus taketh Peter James and John up apart he took them up apart on the mountain now why did he take them up apart because if you don't allow him to take you up apart then you will fall to pieces in the valleys of life and where we have a whole lot of people can't survive valleys because you don't want to go up and be taken apart we want them to take us up we just don't want them to take us apart does this make sense and so so even technology watch this most stuff we have now most of the stuff you have today if it breaks there is no hope you you know what I'm saying remember when you used to just take it take that watch to the to the to the to the to the watch to the jeweler and they would take it apart and fix it and put it back together again as as good as new now you get these iPhones these Androids it's if it's broke they tell you "We get you a new one." Well you can't you fix it it wasn't designed to be taken apart now I'm going somewhere that has parts in it but it wasn't designed to be taken apart unfortunately it looks a lot like people you can't We listen God created you for the purpose of taking you apart to continually always work on you to make you better that's why the scripture says watch this Christ in what is he doing he's working he's getting it together but if I take on the mindset of I'm good and this is the problem i take on the mindset that I'm good he can never get better out of you y'all still with me so what does it say it says in Hebrews chapter 4 notice this because we're talking about the soul i want a I my goal today is to apply pressure to your soul oh wow i'm telling you because that pneumaticose man has to rise to the top and lead hallelujah amen so watch this hebrews 4:12 again the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword now the next word says piercing right now that word piercing what we're dealing with piercing it's the cut well the meism most of the piercing is simply this the word of God goes forth with an incision it comes and finds out because it's sharper than any sword piercing even to the divine of sunder of soul and spirit the soul and the spirit are so close together they are so close together it's like what the old song said there's a thin line between love and hate the line between soul and spirit is thinner than that wow so it takes the word of God to precise it so it comes in with incision it cuts in But what is it cutting in for it comes the the incision is the cut in with precision to deal with the exact is issue right that needs to be dealt with but he never I know this is going to mess with some of y'all Savannah he doesn't take it out he cuts it he comes in he deals with it he I He with precision he shows you where it's at now you have the decision to let him have it and the reason watch this the reason some of us still smoking because you keep on telling him to take it and he said "I'm not a thief i didn't force that cigarette in your mouth and I'm not going to force it out of your mouth when you're ready let me let me reveal it to you i'll show you your issue and until you cast it upon me it's still going to be yours." And so a lot of us are mad at God because he won't fix us the way we determine we should be fixed this is how God fixes you he shows you your problem he said "You see the problem?" You say "I see it." He said "Can I have it?" Are you there 1 Corinthians 15:45 and so it is written now do not read too fast or you'll put stuff there or remove stuff that shouldn't be put or removed because it says also I mean and so it is written watch this the first man Adam was made a living soul okay the last Adam was made a quickening spirit the first man Adam first man Adam we already know who was the first man Adam that's who God created in the garden the first man Adam it says the first man Adam was made a living soul first man Adam that's Adam in the garden the word Adam what does it mean dust bread dirt he came from the dirt adam adam y'all still here yes sir he was made a living soul but then it says the last now some people erroneously say the second if he's the second then there's room for the third it was the first and the last if he's the last Adam how many atoms follow the last Adam none so the last Adam was made a quickening spirit but again what does the word Adam mean because remember in John chapter one the word says the word rather was with God the word was God and everything that was created was created by him nothing that nothing that has been created was not created without him but verse 14 John 1:14 says "And the word was made flesh." So what does that mean the word had to put him be housed in an Adam had to have a body does this make sense so the last Adam was a quickening spirit but to dwell on earth he still needed a body is this y'all still here now I know it sounds deep but I need you to get this because watch this the very next verse verse 46 y'all still there watch this it says verse 46 "How be it that was not first which is spiritual but that which is natural and afterward that which is so another way of saying it first the natural then the spiritual." Pastor why you tell so many stories because I want you to see it naturally then when I turn the corner y'all get quiet y'all laugh at the natural then when I turn the corner and make it spiritual you like "Dog he talking about me i was talking about you in the natural you just didn't get it you was laughing you understand first the natural first the natural why because the first man Adam was natural is this making sense first the natural right first the natural y'all got that first the the natural then So here here's what it happens it says then the spiritual then the pneumaticose so when we think about Marismos I want you to think about who's in control of your life the spiritual or the natural because who was first the natural now y'all got too too slow on that answer who was first the natural don't go all the way back to Genesis chapter 3 because I mean Genesis chapter 2 cuz if you go that far back you'll miss it because none of us none of us none of us are Genesis chapter 2 people every one of us came after Genesis chapter 3 what happens in Genesis chapter 3 the fall of man from the moment man fell he stopped being spiritual so everyone that came through his loins came natural now we've got to go find spiritual living does this make sense so people say I'm you know I remember years ago so I we were doing a I remember uh we had a a one of our marriage retreats was at the end of the try and we explaining stuff God's original tent so one brother you know I love it when people help me preach i don't need your help but you know what I'm saying and he says "So what you're saying is we got to get back to the garden or whatever that some song they had out at the time back to Eden." I said "No I ain't saying that don't tell me what I'm saying i ain't saying that that's a song that's a song you can't get back to Eden in your flesh that's your problem you get back to Eden we going to be repeating Genesis 3 over and over and over again you can't go back to Eden if you ain't went back to the to the to the cross and get this spirit man in the place where he needs to be going back to Eden the way we are we in trouble that's why God put him out now why why is this so so important because if it's the spiritual that follows the natural why are we struggling to just be spiritual watch this because I do what comes natural natural to me not spiritual yes sir yes sir y'all still here because natural the word natural excuse me in the Greek is sukicos sukikos the the word soul is suk now it sounds especially if you when you spell it out if you replace the U with a Y what do you have psyche psyche what do we What do we have when I was a kid uh William when we was younger you know we used to say psych remember you can't say that no more you can't say that no more psych that mean you know I was playing but now everybody got a psychiatrist and a psychologist everybody's got a psych something why because we are we have finally discovered our issue but we don't know how to address it correctly the issue is my psyche right talking out the side of your neck giving people a piece of your mind sight all of that psyche what's the problem the problem is that's soulish so I've been seeking help for my soul so I can remain natural watch this William i'm tired of Regina you And I welcome you to be a part of this family if that's you I I I want you to come as well i'm going to say one more one more thing because there's some listen to me there's some that even now the problem is where the apron is located the problem is some of us have allowed our natural man to cover our eyes i'm not seeing it straight i'm trying to convince myself my crooked life is a straight walk and I know I'm talking to somebody today because even now you're debating whether or not you should come up here but you're trying to see it you're trying to make sense of it it ain't going to make sense it's not going to make sense listen some of us were too old to still be trying to figure out what I should do next you understand what I'm saying and for others listen you're too young to be throwing your life away either way what has happened is you've put the fig leaf apron over your eyes and the only thing you moved by is what looks right to you but God wants to peel that off your face today i'm telling you Jalil God wants you to see it the way he sees it it's amazing come here for a second just come up here just from where you were now turn around it look different up here don't it just And you only took two steps and turned around all you did was take two steps up and turn and it looks totally different going back down there for a second now tell me what has changed about your view turn around look at him you still can't see him like I can now imagine where he is you understand and you've been trying to figure out this life down here so when he said go left left to you don't make sense ain't nothing that way because you're not up here he already see the best way for you is to go left y'all got that GPS they tell you listen road work ahead but you're still on the best route and y'all I ain't going that way why you got it on why are you talking to your phone anyway why you going that way he just told you the best way to go but the best way is not the natural way and because you used to doing what naturally comes to you or what comes naturally to you you are watch this you have become accustomed to asking God to forgive you have you ever thought God wants to put you on the path where this is the day you won't even have to ask for forgiveness cuz you did everything I told you to do i You understand we're so used to repenting we don't even try to do it right no more that's like a bad cook how many times you going to go if every time I'm sorry I burnt it you ain't got to burn it no more i'm finding me somebody else you understand but thank God he'll take it back but I'm telling you now i'm telling you now Jesse we too old man we too you You understand god says "Give me all of it give me all of it so I can show you what you really look like." And I promise you when you see yourself the way he sees you man please oh my goodness man you look a whole lot better than you think you understand let's pray father I thank you for these that are here this morning those that even that oh God I those that are standing that I won't even say should come they know they need to be here but it's as if their feet are are locked in cement i pray before we say amen that they will have the wherewithal to break free from the cemented feet that they have and take that apron off and come and be set free they're not set free because they're standing at this altar they're set free because they stepped out and because you're a demonstrative God Father I thank you that you are meeting them right where they are and I pray God even now that every apron every everything that they've been hiding from you as if you don't see it already everything they've convinced themselves this just the way I am everything that they say "This is just what comes natural to me." I pray God that they would surrender it now and allow you to help them allow you Father to transform their life what I love God if you save me and you did there's not a person in this room you cannot save you told Sarah there's nothing too hard for you you told Mary God that nothing is impossible for you to do what is too hard for you nothing what is What is What is too easy everything God you're God so I pray that you meet them right where they are help them to make the right decisions help them to not walk by eyesight God but walk by insight help them to understand what you want them to do is be pneumatic not suk but pneumatic spirit led and because we're led by the spirit we thank you that your spirit would lead us right to you every single time i pray that you would fill them up with all the fullness of your joy so that when they leave this room today they'll know that they've been with Jesus and there'll be nothing to cover up we take them off and we give you the praise for it hallelujah in Jesus name amen amen hallelujah hallelujah listen I gotta stop i want to keep going i promise you but I I got to stop we got to let y'all go i I can't I can't I can't end it Robert without at least saying this the altar's closed the altar's closed and I don't want y'all to miss it the altar's closed they're going to stand behind you and be praying with you in just a moment but I I And Miss Kathy come on now you know I I'm not into numbers that don't move me but I'm telling you I can't shake the Bible says the day that you hear my voice harden not your heart and and I'm and now Pastor Sheila say I pray for y'all and you know what I've got to do Jasmine i've got to go into prayer override because or overdrive rather because I know there's people that the Holy Ghost said go up there and I didn't go now the danger is not that you didn't because it's just that's that's a walk or not but the danger is me saying no to him opens me up to everything the enemy is going to get me to say yes to so this is not a bad confession don't miss it i'm praying for you i promise you I'm praying for you but for some it's going to be a hellacious week Robert and you're going to be trying to figure out why is all this happening and God's going to remind you remember that preacher told you go up to that altar and you told him you was good i'm just letting these things happen in your life to remind you you're not that good you need me and next time if he should tear his current I give you the opportunity to get up there you need to be the first one it ain't about me it ain't for me it's about us being set free amen father we thank you as we prepare to go from this place and not your presence we pray that you would go with us and keep us we do thank you for being our heavenly father but we also thank you for our natural fathers for our spiritual fathers thank you for our uncles and our grandfathers and and the men that stepped in and was as a father to us all of us are grateful and thankful and even for the person who may have had a horrible experience with their father especially for the men I pray God that rather than repeating what they went through that they would learn from it and purpose to be a better dad purpose to be a man of God purpose to be one who would lean on Jesus and not on themselves now as we go from this place tonight your presence go with us keep us watch overs and protect us and God we continue to give you all the praise the glory and the honor in Jesus name name amen amen love on somebody y'all would turn around somebody wants to minister to you happy Father's Day brothers
