III. Bachelor of Arts Degree Special Requirements (6 hours)

  • Six (6) hours of sophomore-level Foreign Language in one language:
    • Courses: 2311 & 2312 in languages such as American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Russian, Spanish, or Vietnamese.
  • Students must demonstrate foreign language proficiency at the second semester of the 2000-level or higher.
    • May require up to four terms of sequential coursework.
    • Competency can be satisfied by placement or credit by examination.

    • PSYC 2301 General Psychology
    • PSYC 2316 Psychology of Personality
    • PSYC 2317 Statistical Methods in Psychology
    • PSYC 2319 Social Psychology
    • PSYC 2330 Biological Psychology

Transfer Credit Limit

  • Up to 66 hours of 1000/2000 level transfer hours may be applied toward a UH degree.
